8322  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Breaking, bitcoin dump to $8k and altcoins continue to bleed. on: September 28, 2019, 07:34:37 AM

8323  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Small-time tech shops accept Bitcoin as payment on: September 28, 2019, 07:14:36 AM
8324  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Yobit / CryptoTalk.Org Signature Campaign [Yobit Panel] managed by yahoo62278 on: September 28, 2019, 05:06:17 AM
Though good thing may mabuti at strikto silang campaign manager, very over-kill parin talaga ung 20 posts max per day(though gets ko in an internet marketing and SEO perspective kung bakit sobrang advantageous to sa side ng CryptoTalk).

this is a challenge for him as there will be a big number of participants that he will have to check the post quality, and given 20 max per day, that's a hell of a job.
Indeed.

Tama, 20 max post per day? Kung 3 post per hour so lumalabas na 7 or 8 hours per day? (kung tama ang math ko hehehe). So parang ang hirap unless na wala ka ng ibang work talaga. Mahirap din sa utak yan ah.  Grin.

8325  Other / Beginners & Help / {Warning}:New Masad Stealer Malware Exfiltrates Crypto Wallets via Telegram on: September 27, 2019, 11:39:21 PM

https://twitter.com/BleepinComputer/status/1177666054123859968

Quote
A new and actively distributed malware strain dubbed Masad Stealer steals files, browser information, and cryptocurrency wallet data from infected computers that get sent back to its masters using Telegram as a communication channel.

The Juniper Threat Labs team who found it discovered that the malware is in some way related to the Qulab Stealer (either as an upgraded version or as a direct predecessor), and that it is developed using Autoit scripts and then compiled as a Windows executable.

Once it manages to infect a machine, Masad Stealer starts collecting a wide range of data from its victims, including but not limited to system info, screenshots, desktop text files, Steam Desktop Authenticator sessions, browser cookies, usernames, passwords, and credit card information.

The malware also comes with the capability of automatically replacing Monero, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin, Neo, and Web Money cryptocurrency wallets from the clipboard with ones provided by its operators.

Moral lesson here is not to download any crack softwares, game cracks, cheats because we don't know, you might be the next victim here. Or probably just used dedicated desktops or laptops for all your crypto activity.

BTC/USD had a heavily bearish day this Tuesday. Following an unexplained flash crash in its hashrate, its price tumbled down heavily. BTC/USD dropped from $9,691.45 to 8,534.80 going below $9,000 for the first time since June 2019. The price has since recovered to $8,645. The hourly breakdown shows us that the price was trending horizontally for a while before it dropped from $9,465 to $8,403 within two hours. The daily confluence detector shows us that there are no visible resistance levels, so further growth is expected.

Reported him as well, posting on my thread with plagiarism:

Cryptocurrency giveaway scams are nothing new. Fraudsters have been known in the past to impersonate the likes of Elon Musk or Vitalik Buterin to con unwitting victims. And now, just days after its launch, we are seeing crypto con artists impersonate Bitcoin futures platform Bakkt.

Con artists launched a fake website, bakktlaunch.com, earlier this week, according to a whois URL lookup. Seemingly to capitalize on the recent launch of the actual Bakkt futures which, after being in development for the last couple of years, launched earlier this week.

8327  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Making exponential gains trading on: September 27, 2019, 12:39:30 PM
Gambling games? There's a lot of risk involved there mate, just saying.

As for the other exchanges you mentioned, of course you can make money but the thing is, every trader is different, specially with their appetite to risk and their capital at hand. So other became more successful, but majority, the casuals and the average Joe keeps struggling. So instead of asking for financial advises, why don't you plan ahead and don't trust those so called experts, I'm sure they won't share any of their secrets.
8328  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who are are your bet for this year's boxing fight of the year on: September 27, 2019, 11:28:58 AM
Who is your bet for this year's boxing fight of the year, my bet is the biggest upset of the year Joshua Ruiz 1 but we'll be waiting for what's going to happen in their second match, it might bring a much bigger surprise for us, but so far for me  Joshua Ruiz 1.

I very much would like to observe fight of Habib Nurmagomedov with Tony Ferguson. I don't really like to bet on sports, however in this case I would probably bet on Habib. There are rumors that their fight can take place in December 2019.

Its Khabib not Habib and the OP states that the boxing, what the hell you are talking about UFC here?

@Bttzed03 - the fight has just talked about after the fight itself, it didn't have the hype because Ruiz is just a late replacement. While the Pacquaio vs Thurman put Pacquaio again in the discussions for the best welterweight in his division. And then there was lot of hate on Thurman because on the way he disrespect a legend and how he gonna end Manny's career. And he didn't back it up and he was totally ridicule by boxing media. So my vote goes to Pacquiao vs Thurman.
8329  Economy / Economics / Re: K-POP Company owners are joining the train hype of Cryptocurrency on: September 27, 2019, 10:36:16 AM
Well it seems this is an example of a good use case in the entertainment industry and once successfully implemented and steered in the right way, it could pave the way to more crypto exposure and adoption among South Koreans since they are well known to be enthusiastic and die hard followers in the entertainment industry thus the explosion of K-Pop generation. Smiley

It could be a good use case but it's just one industry, K-Pop. I think they don't need exposure, since South Korea together with Japan leads the way on the adoption of crypto in Asia.

Just a marketing ploy for the company to join and get their hands dirty on this whole crypto verse.

This is probably the main reason, just imagine if they are going to pursue things like buying tickets with crypto, it's going to be huge, but let's see how it goes though, too early to say at this point. But good marketing strategy on their part.
8330  Economy / Speculation / Re: Falling of crypto prices on: September 27, 2019, 10:14:02 AM
I read of someone transferring a billion dollars worth of bitcoin and some people speculated that if it hits exchanges, it would cause bitcoin to drop.Do you guys think this is the cause or maybe it's just a bear trap?

You mean moving billions of dollar worth of bitcoin? That's been happening way back so I don't think that it has something to do with the recent crash. This is just FUD, a classic one, I think you are fairly new in the game so I will just advise you not to panic or even believed everything you hear or read specially coming from social media or even crypto related websites.

8332  Economy / Reputation / Re: Red Trust Senior, Hero , Legendary Member Account Buyer. on: September 26, 2019, 11:45:12 PM
The two transactions might not be connected at all. The one where he received 20 merits from supercop might be his first attempt to buy smerits but if he wants to milk the smerits out from this sr. member+ accounts why not just buy the smerits out of it and not buy the red tagged sr. member accounts in the process.
do you know how much buying a Sr.member account or + costs, how much buying merits costs!

Buying a red trusted account with 50 sMerits is far less cheaper than buying 50 merits and I assume you know why.

Right, so instead of buying merits, it's much easier for those abusers to just get and buy those red trust accounts. They have total control over it recycle the merits between their alts and will try to avoid detection by distributing it slowly. The key here is that they have control, they can even start to sell those smerits as well. Time to hunt them down and piece the puzzle together.
8333  Economy / Reputation / Re: Red Trust Senior, Hero , Legendary Member Account Buyer. on: September 26, 2019, 11:20:13 AM
He probably wanted to milk the hell out of the smerits of those red trust accounts to rank up his alts.
8334  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: September 26, 2019, 08:42:58 AM
@notblox1. I reckon that Dana is liking how Jeremy Stephens and Yair Rodriguez created their own storyboard that might have made him remake this fight immediately while the drama is there hehehe.

Jeremy Stephens and Yair Rodriguez both claimed they got involved in a scuffle following UFC Mexico City and video has surfaced to prove it.

Source https://www.mmanews.com/video-surfaces-of-jeremy-stephens-shoving-yair-rodriguez-in-hotel/

So in the end, it looks like the drama or how the fight ends in Mexico evolved to make a whole storyboard for the Stephens vs Rodriguez rematch and Dana was quick to make the rematch because it is still hotly debated and talk about. And now that some video had re-surfaces, (haven't seen it), so this drama turns out to be personally (I'm sure media has something to do with it).  Grin

Lots of smacktalking going on at yesterdays press conference

HEATED! Errol Spence Jr vs. Shawn Porter FULL FINAL PRESS CONFERENCE | Fox PBC Boxing
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pY7WAWLuN5k

Thanks man for updating this thread with the Final Press Conference.

Yes I did watch it, did anyone notice Porter became so serious when Jimmy Lennon called Spence Jr? He was someone smiling to the camera and when Spence was introduce with all the accolades, he jaw was lock and going eye-to-eye with Spence.

However, I'm expecting much heated exchanges but didn't see nothing, Spence had no facial reaction at all but Porter seems to be lively but lacks the trash talk we have seen in the Broner or Garcia fight.

8337  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Breaking, bitcoin dump to $8k and altcoins continue to bleed. on: September 26, 2019, 06:51:46 AM

Grin

Maaga aga pa naman para husgahan ang Bakkt wala pa itong isang linggo, tingnan natin sa short term (mga 1 hanggang 3 buwan) or long term ang magiging impact sa market.
8338  Economy / Economics / Re: The Latest Crypto Price Dip Is Fueled By Fake News Relating to Quantum Computers on: September 25, 2019, 10:16:30 PM
The piece of news from google was a couple days ago, there's no connection between that and todays 'dip'. The price was going sideways for too long, expectations for Bakkt were too high, and we're seeing a large decrease in price following weeks of stability. We might go back to ~$10k but it may 'dip' again.

I agree, this news has been going around for days and I doubt that this is the source of all this sudden dip of the price. It is attributed to some miners suddenly pulling the plug on their mining hardware. But it really doesn't make sense, could probably some black out on some miners regions, but for sure they will be back mining again when the electricity stabilised. Those whale who sold on Bitmex just reacted on the market, and dump huge amount. We don't know if this is deliberate to cause the market to panic or just simply wanted to liquidate his/her assets.
8339  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Bakkt Exchange Launching!!! on: September 25, 2019, 09:51:03 PM
Why o why? Itong Bakkt Futures nga ba ay posibling CME Futures 2.0 ?

Dumating na sa point na ayaw kong mangyari, just like what hapenned noong December 2018 which around the peak o all-time-high then pag launched ng CME Futures , boom, nauntog.

I'm still rooting for the block halving event, kaya yung huge dump na ito ay huge opportunity sa lahat para maka bili pa ng madaming bitcoin sa mababang presyo and yeah, I'm loading more my bags.
