Proudhon will owe me 1 bitcoin should the price exceed $100. Only a few more days (maybe a week) left. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Good for you. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

at least satoshidice is provably fair. Anything like that for MtGox?
depends on the buy/sell decisions you make, and the mt gox "lag".

Someone is now buying coins en masse ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Yes, the price of bitcoin is going up like a rocket
|
|

It will exceed $100/BTC in the next month, I'm pretty sure.

Well you should have read up on it a bit more

I voted no. Smoothie, I'll give you a BTC if it does.
Can I have one too? I'm out. Put your money where your mouth is? ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

Add an interstitial warning page for those sections of the forum and require the user to type, "I understand that someone will attempt to attempt to scam me here." in a confirmation text box before proceeding.
I would definitely like to see something like this happen.

I find this thread interesting. I have a small forum that I run and have asked for donations to pay for the hosting fees. Once I accumulated enough for the year I asked to cease donations. Is this forum just stashing money away from donations to pay for hosting services of course and for what else? If you guys have so much bitcoin and you are looking to divide it up because you have so much you really don't need to continue to take donations anymore, do you? Unless you are personally profiting your pockets with the donations. And this site also had advertisements on top of that. Looks like this forum is a money making machine here.
bitcoin is transparent, we can all see where the money is going

Why cant we crash this week?
Already "crashed" a few days ago. Yeah, such a "crash". I almost sold all my coins, the price was almost heading towards single digits. It was a huge "crash".

I always enjoy Proudhon's posts and appreciate the consistency of his message.
Single Digits or BTCust!
I bet proudhon has loads of coins, and will be buying loads more if his predictions ever actually come true ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) I have never seen anyone so rich would waste so much time trolling, they get better things to do. How do you know he is rich? Maybe he doesn't have any BTC at all. If true he should start a ponzi of his own ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) He seems too busy growing his e-peen in the Speculation forums. Not his intention I'm sure. Some use charts as indicators, some listen to the rabble rabble. What are you, proudhon's 2nd account?

So, coming back to bitcoin after at least half a year of forgetting about it. I look on intersango and see that it says that 1 BTC is around £50. I check on MT.Gox and it says the same thing...
When did bitcoin start being worth so much?!?
Check the exponetial curve upwards. "Clearly related" to the growth in BTC transactional value, or maybe to do with it's "gold backing" oh.... I think it grew because, people like you see it growing, hey it might grow to $200.... and sadly most people are optimistic and greedy. Optimism is fine, it's greed that is a problem.

Don't look toward Cyprus in the coming days. Look toward Bitcoin adoption in Spain and Italy. That's where the real impact of the situation in Cyprus will land.
Finally someone who understands the situation fully ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

It certainly doesn't look like the $80s will be very memorable. Looks like we can cut through them like a hot knife through butter.
Yes, maybe the first time we go through the $80's anyway. not maybe, but definitely

People say news isn't part of the fundamentals, but it is when most people have never even heard of Bitcoin and getting the word out is the biggest challenge. One very important fundamental number for Bitcoin is simply the number of people who've heard about it.
Yes, with all the newcomers there is a lot of money entering the market.
