The c-cex support has been contacted with troubleshooting steps.

The linux wallet is working and is in sync on multiple other servers.
Based on the error shown in the ccex environment, the initial goal in troubleshooting is to rule out any transitory resource limits or disk corruption in that particular environment.
Given it is the weekend it may be Monday that the ccex staff is able to reconnect and troubleshoot the issue.

With regards.

Really appreciate your update dev.

Please be online and post updates on daily basis. It will boost the moral of all VAL holders like me. I really have high hopes about this coin and I hope the price will also go up in future.

All the best dev! Make it a success.
8342  Economy / Economics / Re: 1 important Advantage of BTC over other assets and cash. on: March 20, 2016, 09:13:01 AM
That is true and that's the beauty of bitcoin. Bitcoin gets investment from whole world and can't be devalued by a particular govt.

The fluctuation in price is on e of the characteristics of bitcoin and it is moved by a global force. Not dependent on a particular regulatory authority.

I think the free VAL giveaway is stopped and that's a positive news for the coin.

Actually free coins ruined the market totally. Hope it will revive soon. The dogecoin exchange price has increased a bit but still there is no buyer in bitcoin.

Hope people will understand and stop selling VAL at 1 satoshi.
8344  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Bitcoin busts: Its anonymity made Bitcoin popular among criminals. on: March 17, 2016, 05:18:15 PM
Every innovation will have a brighter and a darker side.

No doubt that its anonymity made bitcoin popular among criminals but the majority of bitcoin users are not criminals. They are just normal people like you and me.

Bitcoin is a blessing and not a bane.
8345  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you store your bitcoins? on: March 17, 2016, 05:10:40 PM
I am currently storing my bitcoins in more than one wallets. It is always better to diversify.

A minor portion of my bitcoin is in coinbase. Another minor portion is in c-cex, which I use for daily trading.

The last portion of my bitcoin is in my offline wallet.
8346  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins to revolutionize insurances on: March 16, 2016, 11:21:49 AM
Insurance is legal and regulated in a very strict manner. Bitcoin is neither legal (except few countries) nor regulated. So I think it is not possible to insure bitcoin ever. Bitcoin is more like an equity share with volatile price. I don't think any insurance company can insure equity shares because of the market dynamics. the similar way, bitcoin can't be insured.

8348  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A teen is given $1K to invest into Bitcoin - what would you recommend for them? on: March 16, 2016, 04:23:27 AM
Whooah!! That's rich!! ain't it!!

Firstly, I would recommend that kid for a generous donation to my bitcoin wallet. (just kidding!)

Anyway, for him, it is advisable to invest in some good and reputed cloud mining companies and start mining with them. It is the best way to grow the bitcoin.

Next, i will advise him to start using p2p loans website like, btcjam or btcpop. I have personally used them and invested in few loans. They are giving me good return.

the kid must avoid ponzi and get rich quick schemes and his money will be safer.

8350  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People mocking of me for using Bitcoin on: March 15, 2016, 04:20:58 AM
Let people talk and mock you. Stay put and don't leave bitcoin because of your friends. Keep accumulating bitcoin as much as you can and after few years, they will cry a river after seeing your wealth.

People are always not be adaptive towards new technology so don't bother.
8351  Economy / Exchanges / Re: What is the best crypto exchage in 2016 ??? on: March 15, 2016, 04:06:29 AM
I have been using C-cex from quite a long time and I can say it is trusted. C-cex admin is also very active in this forum and you can get your problems resolved very fast.

Also yobit is good. But I have just started using that, not yet requested a withdrawal, so can't say. But C-cex is good and I am happy with their service.

8354  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to Create my own currency? on: March 13, 2016, 04:35:43 PM
Why do you need to create your own coin???

We are already loaded with every kind of shitcoins around. Why do you think that your coin can make a difference?

Please concentrate on earning existing altcoins if you want, but please don't bring another shitcoin.
8355  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still keep a fiat retirement account? on: March 13, 2016, 04:30:24 PM
If you are a true believer that be dollar and other fiats are doomed should you then cash out your fiat retirement account for btc, metals or real estate?

I have a Roth IRA with some money in it and I am debating on if I should liquidate that or keep contributing to it for the next 30 years.

Yes...why won't we?

Fiat is still the most powerful and hence I am saving for my retirement like any other service class people do.

But I am also a believer of bitcoin, hence I am accumulating more and more bitcoin as possible and not selling ti at all. I believe that saving bitcoin now, will add up some more spice in to my retired life.

I just got a reply from the dev telling me about its future projects and road map.

I will be cancelling all my sell orders now and hold it until dev is finished with the project.

Hoping everyone to do the same but it's all up to you

Hi, can I know the plans and roadmaps as well??

Though I am just playing with 20000 VAL as I have high hope with this coin, but knowing the future will boost my moral to hold this coin.

Can you please share it for the good???
8357  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Brave" - New, faster browser with integrated BTC micropayments on: March 12, 2016, 03:02:20 PM
That sounds interesting, but I think they are going to keep track of your bitcoin transactions. Which will make it traceable.
8358  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how to exchange my Epay balance to bitcoin? on: March 12, 2016, 09:26:23 AM
Very simple. Just withdraw your balance to your offline or online bitcoin account.

They have option for withdrawal, just mention your account and you are done.

did you used epay personally?
epay doesn't suppert bitcoin directly for payment, epay pays via bank account.. we need to get some exchanger's help to convert  epay balance to bitcoin.
and OP is asking about some legit exchanger.

Are you talking about epay.info??

If yes, then go to "my account" and set a minimum amount to withdraw and mention your BTC account.

But if you are talking about any other epay, then I can't help.
8359  Economy / Lending / Re: Loan needed 0.05 on: March 12, 2016, 09:17:19 AM
I understand that you need loan. But why don't you try BTCJAM website??

It's just that you need to verify your identity and you can get loan with easy repayment options. I have been using this website from a long time now. Check it.
