8361  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Isn't Islam a religion of hate and violence, not peace and love? on: January 11, 2017, 06:03:02 PM
Wikipedia shouldn't be considered as something reliable clearly , Unlike Bible and the other books , the quran have only one version and didn't change since 1400 years so this is a reliable source instead of reading articles by people who probably don't know anything about the subject.

If we also think logically , saying that Islam is a religion of hate and there are more then 1.7 billion muslim out there , shouldn't you and me (and everyone else) be dead by now ?
8362  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Making 4 BTC per month on a regular basis on: January 11, 2017, 05:59:29 PM
I guess you should first share it with someone highly trusted as a vouch copy , when this trusted user write his reviews and everything goes fine then you should start sharing it for a fee and once again , only with trusted members.
I doubt those members will share it with other members too , It won't be logical to throw 4 BTC per month method just like that .
Its actually a first in this forum too, I've never seen a legendary reputable member before offering this as most of the methods on digital goods are a scam by newbies.
8363  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Hypothetical seizure of exchange BTC by PBOC on: January 11, 2017, 04:42:40 PM
How many total BTC are held by Huobi, OKCoin, and BTCC?

A lot. According to Bloomberg[1][2] the yuan accounted for 98 percent of bitcoin trading in the past six months so If that ever happens , It definitely won't be beautiful.

8364  Economy / Exchanges / Re: in btc-e can i deposit okpay withdraw perfect money? on: January 11, 2017, 02:04:46 PM
hey guys
i wanna know that
in btc-e.com can i deposit via okpay withdraw perfect money?

tx

From that FAQ of BTC-E :

At this time, BTC-e is currently not accepting any of these payment methods. All transactions carried out on our website are irreversible; therefore use of payment methods that are reversible would be a detrimental venture for us. The presently supported payment methods are : US Bank Wire, EU Bank Wire (SEPA), Visa, Mastercard, Liqpay.com, unikarta.com, PerfectMoney.com, WebCreds.com, Ukash.com, Webmoney.ru.

and on OKPay there is this feature , so I'm not sure If you could use it together with Perfect Money or not : https://www.okpay.com/en/company/news/btc-e-codes-integrated-to-okpay/
8365  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: ATOMBIT Wallet version 1.2.2 is here! Buy up to 1 bitcoin per day on: January 11, 2017, 01:33:29 PM
hey there!
i know its a little bit outdated here, but is this service still availible?
app on the appstore is still online, but website says deposits with paypal are not availible since october 16.

can i still use the atombit app and im able to deposit fiat there?

Its being more then a year now since they released their app and I don't see any big improvements and until now , the wallet is still closed source and In the same time give the user ability to create private keys etc... which in my opinion , is the most insecure wallet someone could use.
I don't see why you would want to use this option while there are many other services that are more secure , have more features and open source too. If you just want to buy using PayPal then just use virwox.com or the currency exchange section on the forums.
8366  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Breaking News! PBOC inspects Chinese Bitcoin Exhcanges on: January 11, 2017, 11:19:40 AM
This could be a disaster If those exchanges have indeed something they are hiding (which I think Its the case) hopefully the price will stay in the 800$ range after this. (Already dropped by almost 50$ in the last hour)
8367  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Wallet.dat technical problem on: January 11, 2017, 10:16:46 AM
I don't want to speak on his behalf but I guess shorena[1] is doing this , at least from what I saw in some of his posts. He is trusted enough so I guess there is nothing to be worried about. I suggest that you contact him.

8368  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] Amazon GiftCard | PHYSICAL ONLY on: January 11, 2017, 09:42:24 AM
I don't get this rule "No REFUNDED AFTER DELIVERY" , If whoever receive the item find that It doesn't meet your description or It got already redeemed , you won't refund him ? I don't see why there is the use of an escrow in the first place on that case. I know you are claiming that Its SHIPPED FROM OFFICIAL but It will be your word against the buyer word In that case.
8369  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Wallet.dat technical problem on: January 11, 2017, 09:20:10 AM
There is btcrecover[1] and Its probably the most updated recovery tool out there but you should have at least an idea about your seed or password , If you don't know absolutely nothing about them and they are hard then you probably have no chance recovering them .

8370  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Stop using blockchain.info already ! on: January 11, 2017, 07:50:51 AM
I don't have any issues with them , I actually stopped using them since they upgraded to HD and they removed the legacy login with it. If we take in consideration that there are a lot of web wallets and this section became full lately with issues from blockchain.info only , my warning should definitely be taken seriously , It's your choice though.
8371  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Trying to contact peerbet on: January 11, 2017, 07:19:26 AM
The latest thread I could've found on the forums : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=280487.1140 and Its a little bit inactive however this user https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=37924 seem to be one of the staff members from looking at the thread so you should either post there or P.M him preferably.
8372  Other / Politics & Society / Six major allegations levelled by Trump spy memos on: January 11, 2017, 06:34:38 AM
An unverified set of memos alleging links between Donald Trump and Russia and a web of conspiracy and blackmail surfaced in the US on Tuesday night (January 10), leaving many shocked by the allegations.
From Trump's sexual activities to his business dealings, US intelligence services have briefed the president-elect himself, President Obama and senior congressional figures on the allegations contained in the memos.

8373  Economy / Web Wallets / Stop using blockchain.info already ! on: January 11, 2017, 06:16:20 AM
Blockchain.info is having a lot of issues lately and I really recommend anyone using it to stop already , If you don't want to regret later maybe Its the best time to stop using it.
Possible alternatives :  btc.com (If you want to stay with web wallets) , Electrum (desktop) , Multibit HD (desktop) , Paper wallets for long term and Nano Ledger S as a hardware wallet (It has multi coins support too)
8374  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Privacy, Anonymity & Fungibility with ValueShuffle on: January 11, 2017, 05:58:49 AM
I see now that both systems are vulnerable to sybil attacks. :ĺ

I can't tell you whats the differences between both of them since I don't have a lot of info but from the whitepaper , TumeBit shouldn't be vulnerable against sybil attacks as stated here https://eprint.iacr.org/2016/575.pdf

"DoS  and  Sybil  protection. TumbleBit  uses  transaction fees  to  resist  DoS  and  Sybil  attacks.  Every  Bitcoin transaction  can  include  a transaction  fee that  is  paid to  the  Bitcoin  miner  who  confirms  the  transaction  on
the  blockchain  as  an  incentive  to  confirm  transactions"

Still waiting for the Kim Dotcom press release and official details on how this is going to work... wasn't he supposed to deliver somewhere in early January? Kim Dotcom has been pumping bitcoin hard lately with his tweets predicting $2000 this year mainly thanks to bitcache delivering worldwide adoption, im yet to see it to believe it.

He did plan for it in early January and I guess that It didn't change anything (you should expect more details 20th January as he tweeted a few days ago) , as for the price , he clearly said that It may take two years for us to reach that amount.

8376  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Beware of PayPal and other reversible transfer services on: January 10, 2017, 05:23:51 PM
wy are gift cards not safe?
once you redeem them what might the problem be?

Gift cards could be a very good method for trading as long as you are trading with someone trustworthy otherwise there is always a risk with these cards , they could be carded (bought using a stolen credit card) which could result in getting your balance revoked (In steam case for example) or having some legal issues so Its definitely something to avoid dealing with If you are not sure about the person you are trading with.
8377  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / "Banking on Bitcoin" - A new bitcoin documentary on: January 10, 2017, 05:04:12 PM
A new bitcoin documentary called "Banking on bitcoin" came out a few days ago and I thought I should share it with you guys , I just started to watch it and here is the link : https://solarmovie.sc/movie/banking-on-bitcoin-18789/567376-8/watching.html
Leave your thoughts and your feedback once you see it , the score is 6.8/10 on imdb but I guess It worth watching.
8378  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is there a website buying giftcards for BTC? on: January 10, 2017, 05:34:55 AM
A service to sell directly to isn't available since there is a lot of people could do some carding and sell to these services and get BTC instead.
Your best bet now is to sell them using LocalBitcoins or Paxful , P2P platform are always the best when It comes to the rates and fees , as for checking the gift card then you could do it[1] after connecting to your amazon account as stated above.

8379  Economy / Exchanges / Re: BTC Exchangers on: January 10, 2017, 05:11:54 AM
What's the best BTC Exchangers with the lowest "buy rate" but the highest "sell rate"?

You can find a list with the exchanges and their volume in the last 24 hours with rates : https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/volume/24-hour/
If you are looking for a website with BTC/Alt trading then Poloniex definitely does the job otherwise , there is Coinbase , Kraken etc... where you could buy using your credit card/bank account etc... (you should be from the U.S)
8380  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: BTC.com | BITCOIN WALLET | BLOCK EXPLORER | API | MINING POOL on: January 10, 2017, 04:48:36 AM
This website safe to store a large amount of bitcoins Huh
I have used blockchain's web wallet for a long time and am getting worried that it will not be up one day when I want to access my bitcoins held in their wallet and will lose someday lose the substantial amount of bitcoin that I have there.

As long as you have the documents they gave you when you first made the wallet (the PDF) then you should be fine , even If they get hacked the hackers won't be able to do much as It's a multi signature wallet and thats not the case for blockchain.info where the hacker will have access to the wallet.dat and start cracking them.
