8361  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you a problem gambler? on: September 06, 2017, 07:58:38 AM
The truth hurts but it is true. I have a gambling problem.
I turned my .02 bitcoin into zero in just minutes of playing dice. I almost deposit more again just to get it back but thank God the internet connection went into some maintenance. After that I got to  breath again and tell myself I should stop. I will try to look at the link later.
8362  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you keep your bitcoins? on: September 05, 2017, 05:34:24 PM
I have all my coins in on an online trading site (paxful) (low volume)

I plan on making a large investment very soon, and want to safely store all of my coins
I.E I basically want to drop a couple thousand, and keep them in the safest possible way, where I can revisit them in 5-10 years or so and reap the benefits, or cry about the loss.

What is the best way to do this, and what's the best way of ensuring a backup?

How do you currently store your coins

thanks in advance for any inputs

I keep my bitcoins at coins.ph Coins.ph is an online application walket in where you can keep your bitcoin. With coins.ph your bitcoin will not be stagnant.Your bitcoin has the abilitybto increase through transactions that you do.

That is a website wallet and you might want to be careful with that. With all the things that are happening specially with bitcoin price surging up like this it can be possible that something wrong might happen. Just be very careful and use those who can stay long and proven trustworthy. I know Coins.ph is trusted but it will be better to be safe. Why not just send the amount of bitcoin that you need when you are doing the withdrawal. Do not put it all there.
8363  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The DEATH of Bitcoin Surfaces Again on: September 05, 2017, 04:52:24 PM
A Fiesta already for a what? 200 to 300 dollars down? Come on! They should be better than that.
It is still at $4k and that is a hell of an amount of money.
With this value nothing can stop bitcoin now even if it loses $1000 of its price, it is still way up than any other commodity or currency in the world.
They should be more worried on how fast it will land at the $5k mark.
8364  Economy / Gambling / Re: Investing in btc casinos on: September 05, 2017, 02:32:18 PM
If there was a chance to invest in primedice I would do that seem like the most profitable gambling site in bitcoin.

You could try my signature link.  Grin
They are full with this since they are one hell of the longest running gambling sites and really trustworthy.
But hey, there are also gambling sites that are giving their all to get that trust. Try Yolo and you might see features which is not in the other sites.
8365  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do I grow my btc? on: September 05, 2017, 12:57:04 PM
i think one good option

you can sell/buy bitcoin or be escrower.. is a work Smiley
you can buy with -3% bitcoin (for who sell fast) and sell +3% bitcoin (for who buy fast)
i think is good option

This is good business although it needs capital. There are a few who can do this and those people are ready to take the risk of being scammed or a hit and run.  Grin
Steps into making the business safer are needed and backgrounds about people who will buy and sell.
Specially when it is the Paypal transaction which really became a problem.
8366  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO is officially banned in China !!! on: September 05, 2017, 07:28:01 AM
The funny thing is people there cannot even access the whole capability of the internet and yet they ban just an ICO.
I know they are doing this to protect their people but how could they even see that an ICO is existing if the Firewall is too high that it is hard to break it.
This is just another news where it doesn't matter.
Best business in that area is VPN.  Grin
8367  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Superstition on: September 05, 2017, 03:30:46 AM
I believe in superstition and try to wear those clothes in which I have good winnings. Sometimes it helps, and sometimes not very lucky. Maybe there are some more secrets out there.
Well, I feel funny because your superstitions, I never believed in superstition, I always thought that everything was based on science to explain, although there were many problems that science did not explain but sooner or later, scientists also discover that. In gambling, if you are lucky, you will be lucky and if you are not lucky, you will be unlucky, wear clothes or anything can not change that, you wear clothes that you think it brings luck to you because you have signs of despair, and you need something called trust for you to rely on it

You might be right but you cannot deny that sometimes a certain thing saves you from accidents or makes you lucky whenever you brought or just with you.
I dont say they are magical but if that belief makes you boost your confidence into playing more with courage then why not?
In poker you will lose whenever the other players feel your fear of backing out and you cannot even bluff. They can smell that.
So this superstitions could somehow make you comfortable while you are in the game.
8368  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if, we advertise bitcoin on T.V.? on: September 04, 2017, 06:44:05 PM
That is an early Christmas if ever that will happen.
I dont care much about the television for I dont want to watch either the lies they would tell to the people.
Just stayed in the internet and read news that is not from the government. Although I am not against it.
Here in the internet you can see bitcoin every time. Other forums have advertisements with bitcoin and even the blogs use it for profit.
I guess every child will know it someday when they somehow bump it while browsing something.
8369  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why bitcoin price is currently falling? on: September 04, 2017, 04:34:03 PM
Why is it that every event that will happen will define the bitcoin price.
Cant it be there is someone who sold their coins that is why it moved down?
ICO will stay with the ICO and bitcoin will stay with bitcoin.
If ever there will be a happening it should have been an increase because they banned it, investors will sell the tokens to bitcoin.
8370  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how to earn ETH on: September 04, 2017, 04:30:31 PM
You posted it in a wrong section that is why you are not getting enough answers. Try the altcoin section and you will see the difference.
8371  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When do YOU sell? on: September 04, 2017, 08:41:16 AM
I will sell if the price rises high in accordance with the target to be purchased, but be careful not to rush to sell because if the price is still going up you will regret, so better wait and see
That is why it is also a bad habit to do an autosell in exchanges.
It is only good for buying. If it goes up beyond the point you have input then the profit is lacking.
Better to just do a manual sell than to use the robot.
Somehow you could use your instincts too with that kind of technique.
8372  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to Become A Bitcoin Expert on: September 04, 2017, 07:03:15 AM
Is there one or are they just claiming it?
How would one say he or she is already an expert in bitcoin? Is there a vote for that?
The price is not even predictable so if that person is expert with something, it will just be the definition of bitcoin or maybe the deeper meaning of it.
8373  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: lost and struggle of trading. on: September 04, 2017, 02:59:55 AM
Why not test it for just a little amount then you will see.
I think experience is the best teacher of all. If you havent tried it and just relied on all that you have read you will not be better through that.
You need to do it live. See the lost and the winnings, that way you could somehow identify how can it be done. You wont get a best answer here. They can all say what they want but the end it will be just you.
8374  Economy / Speculation / Re: If Bitcoin Reaches $10k in 2017, what will you do? on: September 03, 2017, 04:56:51 PM
It is still impossible for me. Maybe I dont have that much of faith in bitcoin.  Grin
But the questions is an if so maybe we should answer it according to the question.
If ever it will reach that large price it might be a sign of withdrawal for me.
I am not the hypocrite type so I wont lie and there will be panic in my heart once it came to that price.
8375  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin fees are like 5 sat/byte now what? on: September 03, 2017, 03:29:57 PM
Lower fees = more happy users = more adoption = higher price = more reward for miners.
(12.5BTC+0.5BTC) * $5000 >> (12.5BTC+3BTC) * 1000

I don't understand why the miners are ignoring this very important thing. If the fee is low, then for a short while their revenues may decline by 4% or 5%. But in the long term, it will increase manifold due to the large spike in users.

This tells it all.
If we increase in number of users then the price will go with the wave.
Why not just take it for now and use the profit they have made from before and all will be fine afterwards.
They say newbies whine too much. Who will not?
The large price for a long time of transactions. It is just not fair. Why would the new users need to adjust?
How can we even invite more investors if all the problems are already here? Do they just want to mine and no one will buy it? That is going to be more of a problem.
8376  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buying from ICO or trading altcoin. on: September 03, 2017, 07:40:43 AM
Trading is risky and so is ICO tokens but there is a big difference to the two.
If I were you and I got a lot of spare money I would choose to buy coins from the ICO.
The potential are really large now considering investors are coming all over it.
The best part is they made sales and bonuses from pre-sales and that is where you will buy the coins to maximize the profit.
I do trading before but it requires great patience for waiting unlike with ICO. When the coin is out you could sell it all without regret because the profits are good.
8377  Economy / Speculation / Re: looking for answer on: September 01, 2017, 03:40:51 PM

Many have been changed to Bitcoins. As I started here it cost just $ 400 now is almost $ 5,000 and nearly x5 is being raised. What do you think the bitcoins are still on the rise? Or it will happen again when it's up and down the price deeply

Maybe something unexpected will happen but we dont know that.
It could be that something will come up or it will just stay as it is.
No one can predict specially new coins are being created which have great features too.
But I dont think it will dip so low that it cannot come back anymore. This high price is already history and is creating more. A lot of people are already leaning on bitcoin and that cannot be changed.
8378  Economy / Economics / Re: What is your best investment strategy? on: September 01, 2017, 01:41:24 PM
For me the best investment strategy is dividing your bitcoin into two, one for long term investment such as holding your bitcoin for couple of years and the other one is buying gold. We all know bitcoin is unpredictable so we must put some assurance with our earnings

Yes, we think alike and this strategy looks solid. We could also tweak the split to 70-30 since bitcoin is more profitable at the moment.

When investing, we could never be to cautious. We have to approach an acceptable level of paranoia since we are talking about our future here.

70 for the keep? I guess that number is perfect. 30 for the short investments and for necessities but that might also be changed if ever needed.
He talked about gold and I think that might not be the best but a good one for safety. They will protect gold's value for as long as possible. Bitcoin might be profitable now but it will not be forever.
8379  Economy / Economics / Re: Pump and dump is the name of the game. on: September 01, 2017, 12:13:10 PM
Did you guys noticed what was happening recently in the crytocurrency world?
People pump certain coin and then dump it later when the price hit the highest level.
And then buy later when the price dip to the lowest level.

What do you think of this? Share your thoughts Grin

It is a common thing that have been happening even before the ICO's came and I guess you are talking about them right?
After the ICO they will dump it even the bounty hunters will dump and that makes the price so low after the ICO. This is not a big deal. It depends on the coin developer if somehow they can prevent that withdrawal by making other offers and other deal that will make them hold.
8380  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin really secure? on: September 01, 2017, 09:23:19 AM
If you want an assurance that never will it happen that Bitcoin will be hacked, I cannot say it with all certainty. There is no absolute security really. But if you look at the past track record of hacking with Bitcoin, you will find none that is considered significant. In alts, especially ETH-based, there are many.

That is true. I have been looking for a legit website that could tell that bitcoin is hacked and yet I could not find one. I think there are events where hackers will find a way to hack a certain thing in the internet then they will be rewarded and bitcoin havent been breached yet. It is also for the purpose of strengthening the breached website.
This one is so secured it aint easy to enter while with other coins they have done it already. I guess another genius should be born just so it could be hacked.
