8381  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Stolen Coins Right After Getting Vanity Address on: March 02, 2014, 08:19:19 PM
Vanity addresses are safe if they are generated in the right way. Yes, even if multiple people work on it.
8382  Economy / Digital goods / Re: MyExchange Bitcoin Exchange Script | Start your own Bitcoin Exchange for .25 BTC on: March 02, 2014, 07:49:38 PM
I'm still waiting on a reply to a PM for over a week now after contacting B!z about the script not working the way it should.

Any Idea when the update going to be ready?

Anyone know where I can buy this script or a similar? Been messaging the owner but no response as yet.

From what I know the MyExchange name was ripped off from this page that's been online for over a year http:// tinyurl dot com / rmyexch - they have a C# Bitcoin exchange engine that is also called MyExchange. the company is called modulus financial.
Don't trust this guy's URL. There is no reason for him to use tinyurl, except scamming/infecting people. Be very careful if you decide to visit it. It might just lead to a Java Bypass which installs a wallet stealer.

The coin I'm the auction pictures doesn't have the PK on the outside... what sloppy work Tongue Neither is the address in the description. I hope nobody got burnt there...
It's a DIY coin. Which means you have to load it yourself. Reading is your best friend Wink

I assembled 5 of these coins myself and very well know how it works. :-)

Also the auction (I'm talking about the eBay auction btw!) clearly says it is loaded.

What I'm saying is that it seems quite difficult for the (ebay!) buyer to verify basically anything...
Oh I see. Sorry, my bad. I thought you were talking about mrbrt.

BTC.sx is SUSPEND or DEAD. Any evidence of the opposite?
Oh shut up. Seal is very busy. This has been said many times on multiple opportunities. He has a new project on which he is working and one of the reasons he doesn't come online often. If you read the topic you would have known.

8387  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has Bitcoin Foundation done anything to help with recent developments? on: February 28, 2014, 05:51:53 PM
I'm against the Bitcoin Foundation and am not represented by them nor will I ever acknowledge them as leaders, example, or whatever they might want to be. They aren't elected, don't do anything different then "normal" members, you have to buy your way into it, etc. It's just a big no-go.

8399  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Trezor: Bitcoin hardware wallet on: February 24, 2014, 02:19:15 PM
Installation, once finished, tries to open https://mytrezor.com, but SSL on the site doesn't work yet. So that "timeout" is expected and will be fixed soon, once I'll deploy myTREZOR application to the domain.

Thanks for all reports, it seems that works well :-).
Good to hear and glad that I could help. Wink
