^  And whenever profitability is high, obv the miners follow anyway.  So I guess enjoy it while it lasts (not to mention Bitmain figuring out how to build ASIC's for the new mining algo all over again).

Anyway, what other CryptoNote based cryptos upgraded to CryptoNight V7?
8382  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: June 04, 2018, 10:58:52 AM
is it possible in next season liverpool can become champion in EPL? if they see their performance is very horrible, and almost all fans were surprised by the appearance of liverpool m.salah maximum contribution is very maximal and able to boost liverpool into a team back in fear in continental Europe
In this modern world of football, It's impossible to win any trophy without spending a whole lot of money and sometimes the money that you end spending correlates to the trophies that you are going to end up winnimg.

This.  But there are exceptions or outliers when a lower tier club runs way above EV while the top 6 clubs are mostly running below EV.  Remember Leicester 2015/16?  Grin

But that's not happening again in 30 years or so...
8383  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: June 04, 2018, 10:35:53 AM
^  I think I'm the only guy who uses the term 'super nova' in these boards.  It's not my term tbh, I kinda stole it from Timothy Sykes, the penny stock trader.  Lol.

But as far as when that happens for XMR, when everbody starts realizing that fungibility is a thing and off chain stuff like Tari is a 'better Ethereum', I say hold it and keep it all under wraps for now.  The time to attack is not now imo.
8384  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: June 04, 2018, 09:43:57 AM
^  Different clubs, different cultures.  It's also more of the club's fault.  And it's not just players, managers are unfairly treated too.

In the EPL, Chelsea comes first to mind.  They're so used to changing managers on Abramovich's whim that they cheer for them when everything's good and boo the out after a bad run.  Hilarious.

Edit:  Actually, it's the state of football this decade (in the EPL at least)...  Except for a few clubs.
8385  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 04, 2018, 09:17:17 AM
^  It's hilarious that some football news sites are trying to sensationalize that Wenger is also a top target for Real.

But I wish it was true and he really does become the next manager.  Lmao.

And I doubt that West Ham would be challenging for top 4 anytime soon...  Even anytime later.  Lol.
8386  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA WORLD CUP WINNER,PLAYER OF THE TOURNAMENT ? WHO DO YOU GOT ?! on: June 04, 2018, 09:12:19 AM

And the player of the tournament for me should be Neymar JR[/b][/i][/u]

Top player of the tourney, meaning the top scorer?  I wanna propose a side bet vs you.  Minimum 10 USD in BTC, maximum 25 USD.

I bet Messi to score higher against all comers.  I'm willing to bet vs two people who joined hilariousandco's FIFA World Cup 2018 betting pool or Joca97.

Haha i can go if you want ,so do i have to pick someone against you or all of the other players😂

Ok let's go!  If you choose Messi (me) vs Neymar (you), then we can do a 50/50 bet for up to 25 USD (10 USD minimum.  And the player who scores higher wins.

But if you wanna do Messi (me) vs all players (you) then I'm willing to make that bet with me winning x9.00.  Meaning I bet 10 USD against your 80 USD.

Choose.
8387  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: TRON (TRX) is going crazy. on: June 03, 2018, 12:53:03 PM
I think you guys underestimate Tron's SR voting system.  Read all about it here:  https://medium.com/@TronDotLive/a-step-by-step-guide-to-vote-on-tron-super-representatives-election-19e1eb65dab2

Voting will be every 24 hours (if I'm not mistaken) and each voter can vote with as much TRX as he wants.  But the thing is being a Super Rep is very lucrative.  That means the candidates themselves will go after one of the 27 slots by voting for themselves...  That also means some crazy buying starting on June 26.

No way am I selling TRX this cheap to those who wanna vote.  Wink
8388  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 03, 2018, 12:36:59 PM
I don't think anyone would now like to be the manager of RM, its a great club there's no doubt but with a life span of just 1 - 3 years it's no good for any manager to go in there and contain the massive ego, so poch and kloop are ruled out. Now that leaves wenger a chance to repair his legacy and he's the front runner so far considering he's easy to get.

Griezman is sealing his transfer in 13 days where could he land barca or man utd?

Fred is going to be a red I really hope he turns good, Mourinho signings are just not great anymore.
I think Tottenham Boss will be the next manager because he is being considered the most appropriate for this position. he already has taken attention of Perez because of he beat Real Madrid in the last UCL by 3:1.
Who doesn't want to be a Manager of Real Madrid? It will be good for their resumes in the future. Look at where all their ex-managers and the team they are managing they are still on pretty good teams. José Mourinho is with Manchester Unites and Carlo Ancelotti is on Napoli, I mean any team will want a Champion's League experienced manager for their squad, they won't run out of job offers after being sacked by Real Madrid. Plus the money that they would make would be extremely more compared to their previous job.

It isn't as simple as that.  Poch just signed a 5 year extension on his contract after a good talk with Daniel Levy with the latter promising on giving Poch a good transfer budget for this summer window (I think from reading all the news).

But we can have some fun with it and make a side bet if you want...  I say Poch will not leave the Spurs this year.  10 bucks.  Grin

And btw...  This was mostly ignored in the thread but Pelligrini is West Ham's new manager.  The football there should be good for the eyes this season.

Cool then let he post the Btc address so I can pay him within 20 June at latest but will be much faster than that.

Cool thanks!  I'll make good use of it by losing it to the next guy.  Lol.
8391  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH VS EOS on: June 02, 2018, 12:07:27 PM
Ethereum has a significant first mover advantage in the smart contracts 'space' that it's hard for some other platform to get past it in dominance (in that 'space').

Think about it...  What platform did EOS use to get their ICO going?  Lol.
8392  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Whales and pump and dumps have destroyed this market on: June 02, 2018, 11:53:07 AM
Someone just pumped BTC 100 USD

will the sea overflow if you pour a glass of water in it?

$100 rise is not a pump, it is not even a rise. it is barely a movement. it is only 1% change.

Yup...  And did 'whales and pump and dumps' destroy the securities or commodities market worldwide?  No, they actually made those markets more interesting and fun.  Wink

But I understand his frustration.  And I assume he's been losing lately.  In this kind of market it's hard not not to lose.  Grin
8393  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: TRON (TRX) is going crazy. on: June 02, 2018, 11:34:06 AM

Is TRX/BTC getting ready for another bounce?  Keep in mind that I have no idea what's going on in the news concerning Tron as I consider all that as 'market noise'.  Everything 'we' need is in the price and volume (for better or worse).

Tho I'm aware that there's voting for SR's on June 26 that could cause a rise.  What do you guys think?
8394  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: June 02, 2018, 11:02:43 AM
^  It's also him (Zidane) playing it safe.  He knows he doesn't have total control of all those egos in the Real dressing room.  And he also doesn't think he could win the another CL even if his life depended on it.

8395  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 02, 2018, 09:17:49 AM
What are the chances Real gets Poch away from Tottenham?  I think he won't go and sell out just yet.  And they got something good going at his club and I think his request for a higher transfer budget was approved by Daniel Levy aside from Poch's 5 year contract extension.

But you never know with Real, they always seem to get what they want...

^  The pressure got to him imo.  The signs were there as early as last season but this season it really showed judging from his post game press conferences and the interviews with Real's president.

Zidane doesn't think he can keep the club winning under him, so the best move for him and the club was to leave.
8398  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC FN 131: Rivera vs Moraes Info and Prediction Thread on: June 01, 2018, 11:46:34 AM
Here are the weigh ins for the event.  But I gotta admit, I haven't really been reading and watching much about the UFC or MMA in general lately...  I think they overdid some of the bigger events last year, making this year's 'bigger events' seem small and uninteresting.  We need McGregor vs Khabib asap!

8399  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA WORLD CUP 2018? on: June 01, 2018, 11:23:38 AM
I'll probably go with France. Maybe France to win and Griezmann or Giroud to get the golden boot. I'd like to see a smaller country win it, though. What are everybody's predictions for a wild card to go far? Iceland did pretty well in the Euros but doubt they'll fair as well on the World stage. Maybe Poland or Switzerland to surprise? They're both in the top ten fifa rankings which I was surprised about.

Belgium is a bit up there but there's some value (IMO) the last time I looked at the lines.  I think it was at 12.00 a few weeks ago.  It's not really a wild card, but still good value considering how good their squad is.

Edit:  If you really wanna gamble on a wild card, I'd go for Croatia if I were you.

^  Wups...  What did I tell you?  Zidane left on his own.  Grin

And guess who Real's first target replacement is...  Pochettino!  I knew it!

Good thing for Daniel Levy (Spurs owner) Poch just signed a new 5 year contract.  Levy could use that as leverage to milk as much money as he can from Real.
