Pai posteaza-l aici cu codul acesta si poate il adauga si 1miau in OP. Daca il adauga el, il pun si eu Smiley

chainflyer.bitflyer.jp este in tabel pe pozitia 5. Lipseste doar din lista pentru votat  Wink

It will be a difficult time for the whole market. President elections in the USA and COVID-19 will make some troubles to the traders.

Indeed, political uncertainty usually translates into a drop. I know that my national currency usually drops in this kind of events.
But all should get back to normal as soon as the elections are over. And if the new president "is good" there could be quite a jump, not just a comeback.

Thoughts

I find this quite similar to a topic discussed about one week ago. I'd suggest you start reading people's thoughts from there: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5279525

This is why "they" are afraid of Bitcoin, this is possible only with cash: https://www.insider.com/british-woman-detained-for-2-million-british-pounds-in-suitcase-2020-10
Finding out how can people get to actually have shitloads of undeclared money means hard work and more people to work on that.
8385  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: ANN bitcoindata.science - Calculate Tx Size and fees and plot it in the mempool on: October 12, 2020, 10:05:35 AM
1. I needed to also take a look at mempool.space to understand what I see on this tool page, so a bit of improvement is necessary, but I don't really know how to say what is needed
2. My confusion was also caused by a combination of 2 bugs:
2.1. If nothing is entered as fee, it still tries to show the place, and it in the top instead of bottom. Probably should warn/do nothing under 1 sat/vbyte.
2.2. If I put tx fee with decimals it doesn't show correctly the place. It behaves like described at [2.1] although decimals in fee/vbyte are allowed. My test was with 1.5

But overall it's an impressive and necessary tool page, well done!

Si totusi, a aparut inca un vot in plus la Blockchair Smiley

Nu e de la mine, pe mine ma cam mananca degetul sa dau click pe chainflyer. Pare sa aiba tot ce are blockchain si in plus afiseaza corect si tx fee-ul. Doar ca e cam ... "miscator"  Grin Grin

Multumesc amandurora!

Avand in vedere ca imi caut alt favorit, momentan nu voi vota.
8388  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Bitcoin is rising suddenly ? on: October 12, 2020, 05:19:10 AM
People are waiting for a new bull run (or even a bubble) since the halving. And the pressure keeps increasing.

The tweets on Technical analysis from the last week were telling that a big move is going to happen - up or down.
Then there were the news about Square buying $50million worth of Bitcoin.

Obviously the price went up.

Obviously yes!
As long as people keeps speculating for bull run coming in 2021, price will tend to go up in a certain point of time regardless If Btc will crash a few hundreds of dollars, It'll always come back up.
Though this Btc price range is a bit expensive to accumulate more fractions, but retail investors aren't selling either. So, If there's a massive buy out like the Square, It'll obviously makes a good price impact.

Actually my guess was that the price increased because of the news. Many day traders are buying based on the news.
$50M is a big amount, but I think that they were careful at buying and did their best to not affect the price much (it would have been their loss to do otherwise). And the rise happened after the news, meaning that they have finished buying...
8389  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin "mining cartel" (centralization power) on: October 11, 2020, 08:45:41 PM
is it possible for some "mining cartel" to have enough mining power to influence any kind of economic or political decision? I'm not talking about "control the network", but more in a form of economic conjuncture.

Imho the history shows it's not possible to make decisions only because "mining cartel" wants them. Do some research on SegWit2x.
Some pools wanted that, quite powerful group, but after all the majority or the network (meaning also nodes, for example, clearly not only miners/pools) decided otherwise.
Bitcoin is about consensus. The majority has to be overwhelming and the network keeps expanding, making such majorities hard (next to impossible) to achieve if the goal is not right.

8391  Other / Archival / Re: [BIG LIST] Crypto Debit Cards on: October 11, 2020, 07:20:49 PM
Very nice job! I was hoping for an alive and (closer to) up-to-date thread about cards. Hats off for the effort, OP.

There are things to fix here and there, they'll always be, I guess. From what I know Binance cards work only as virtual cards now, they are not printed yet (btw, a mention about virtual cards is important, some look only for such services), TenX are very slow - although they say they are available in Europe many of EU people waiting their cards have still received nothing...

However, it is a list people can start with their research for what card is best for them.

Yep, Bitpay is not a great option.
Bitcoin core needs a large download many newbies are not comfortable with.
I'd say that Electrum is pretty much the best choice, especially on PC, but if you introduce Electrum to newbies please make sure you also tell them about updating safely by downloading from the proper location and verifying the signature.

who is jack ? influencial guy and he post something about btc ? but investing can always happen without the go signal of those people .

One of Twitter's founder and CEO. The investment was all over the news lately, especially because he's a public figure.

8396  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Smart idea designed for student on: October 09, 2020, 12:36:13 PM
They have finished first pre-sale and now they're preparing STO (Student Token Offering). Did you hear about this project? What do you think?

1. STO means Security Token Offering. Making it Student whatever may be seen by some as an attempt to mislead (scam).
2. You are not convincing about this token. I don't see why it's better/more useful than any other already existing coin or token.

I love Bitcoin and the Bitcoin Talk forum, but I feel that it is still drifting away from being a forum for help and discussion, and it is still encouraging volume posting to display paid signatures.

This is not that far from truth, especially in the case of Bitcoin, and it's quite normal. Many possible problems users can have were already answered and I expect search engines point them directly to the answer to their problem. This leads to smaller number of legitimate questions, smaller number of users really needing help.
8399  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: 2FA app on desktop on: October 09, 2020, 08:12:39 AM
For safety purposes, always backup the secret key in your desktop(a device that is always in your home) incase in the future, you can able to recover your 2FA.
Don't download or use unknown apps; always use the 2FA app, which has been tested by many uses like Google authenticator in Android/IOS.

Lately better alternatives than Google Auth have been made. I use for some months now Aegis Authenticator and that one has in-built export to make things easier.
Safe keeping backups for 2FA seeds or database is indeed a must.
8400  Other / Meta / Re: One fault with the merit system on: October 09, 2020, 08:03:18 AM
A merit source is not a paid position, and they shouldn't be pushed into lowering their standards, or forced to spend time om boards that may not be of interest to them.

Imho nobody forces merit sources do anything special. Neither be more active, nor visiting other areas or lower standards.

I'll go by @suchmoon example with the bucket. Imho the merit source system tries to make sure a merit source has "a bucket" of sMerit to send every month. If it "overflew" and some sMerit was lost, no biggie, he still has one full bucket to use.
Theymos did write that sMerit is not for hoarding, right? And if merit sources would get to "infinite buckets" then it can lead to (probably not intentional, but still) sMerit hoarding.
