What does monacoin actually do better than other coins? Nothing on the website jumps out at me as anything special.
I mean, I know it has a cute catface on the coin, but surely there is more to it than that! Happy to hear what I'm missing to explain its popularity.
Its tech is top notch with Segwit locked in and Lightning Networks on the cards. It has a growing network in Japan as merchants are accepting it. You can buy it vs fiat there. Japan gave cryptocurrencies legal tender status in April. I think this is just the beginning of MONA success. It's just a matter of time before more Japanese people realize they have a great coin of their own. Why hold a cute kitten coin from Japan? Well it is actually being used! And if a hype starts in Japan Mona would really take off. If it works as a crypto coin vs fiat and is actually used that is better than a fancy whitepaper, at least as part of my portfolio. |

Red Pulse is the great Project, any great news from China will bring RPX to $50 or more, lets see $50 would make me a millionaire. Been in since ICO. Not holding my breath though. $50 is a bit of a stretch, but I don't see it as impossible. But just based off of great news, I don't think so. If the platform is fully launched and is actively used, it might happen.. but no, don't hold your breath lol Come on, put the numbers into your calculator. 50$ will be about x287 from now, that results in a Marketcap of more than 27 billions.  I agree to lion1987, no way to reach 50$ in the next few years. Hohoho, i think it is more likely that Santa gives me a million than a mcap of 27 billion in such a short time  But that it can go up is for sure Bought the first day it came out on Kucoin, from being 70% down in satoshi i have been a few % in plus for some time now. The total marketcap from christmas 2016 to 2017 has gone up more than 13x. If this trend continues, which is likely, it could go up even more by the end of 2018.
Most of the top ten coins have gone up more than 10 times, even more than a 100. XRP was 0,006 cents a year ago. If verge only gets to the marketcap that Cardano has today, then Verge will be at 0,76 cents a piece. I think this is a realistic setting for Q1.
If the marketcap continues to grow, and Verge reaches the marketcap that BTC has today (assuming btc and other top 20 alt marketcap continues to grow as well), than verge will be at 19 dollar a piece. A dream come true but little unrealistic in my point of view, won't say it won't get there but there might be a better coin in the mean time.

Probably because of the general bull market. And also Zencash was underpriced. Still under the radar for alot of people, so just a few big ones accumulating would pump the price. When Zencash is discovered by more people you will probably also see that in the volume as well as a new price. |

Hi, The fund will not be released until January. So they payout will not be before mid/end of January. Also the final sheet with stakes have not been published. There were alot of complaints, and the Eidoo team have gone through thoose and are updating the sheet. As eidoo team is proffesional it takes time to do this right. Just give them the time they need and it will we be worked out long before the pay out can be made. |

Anybody else get forked when difficulty went below 0.03 on Christmas Eve?
Was thinking it was a Christmas Miracle had staked like 2000 or so, however experience has shown me that I was off on my own fork and then block explorers confirmed it for me.
And wouldn't you know it, everything was closed on Christmas day, meaning the quick download of the whole chain bootstrap.
This morning bootstrap downloaded only to find most of my VRC appears to be missing, so left it re-scanning this morning plan to check on it at lunch, fingers crossed...
If it does not help i would suggest getting on Slack. There is "always" someone with the knowledge ready to help out there Should be more active here maybe, as Slack got a much bigger and active community than this thread makes it look like. |

XVG got a decent correction, but all my alts are red today while bitcoin is going back up. How the future will be is impossible to say, but at least am mining some XVG now to hold.
Easier to hold mined coins through dips without worry for me than bought ones hehe.

The Trusted Setup is a vital part of what makes Zcash work. Zcash is the first coin to use a simplified implementation of a new cryptographic proof called zk-SNARKs (SNARKS for short). These SNARKS are the engine that can quickly and efficiently verify a transaction and add it to the blockchain without revealing any details to the public. The tricky thing about these SNARKS is that (like many algorithms) they need to have a one time setup. And the reason that this setup is called the “Trusted Setup” is because you have to trust that whoever generated those keys destroyed them when they were done. Zclassic, a Zcash clone that changed some key parameters our community felt were important: removed both the 20% Founders’ Reward for the first four years (10% lifecycle equivalent) and the slow start to the money supply. ZenCah - Release date: 8PM EDT, 23rd May 2017 as a fork from Zclassic (0:00 UTC). Anyone who held Zclassic prior to the block 110,000 chainsplit was allocated a 1:1 amount of Zen automatically. Simply import the Zclassic private keys into the new Zen wallet after the launch to redeem your tokens. Bittrex credited everyone who owned Zclassic at block 110,000 with an equivalent amount of ZenCash. Good information, but how was the trusted setup handled? Did the keys get burned in a way we can know it is done? If someone got a hold of the keys, what damage could they do? |

Started mining it with Lyra2 on IDcray with 1080 TIs. Hope it will work smooth to mine it See alot mine x17, but didnt like the way it worked on the the pool working with it. |

I like your comment and it's really a very good coin in the year of 2018 . I believe XVG will become a potential currency as like as a payment method in next years and it's possible to hit 3$ or more in the year of 2018 . Look at XRP before and XVG will be the same . Should buy and hold it for a long-term period as a savings . It seems like verge is just going up still, but comparing it to xrp is not exactly valid. They could not be more different? :p |

The final sheet has been temporarily changed to a private state to allow the team to make the appropriate changes to the sheet (traditional stake count, payout calculation, etc..)
Be patience, and let the bounty team work quietly to publish the sheet as soon as possible.
the distribution will take place as soon as marketing fund will be unlocked (scheduled mid-January)
Remember this is a self-moderated thread, we avoid spamming and newbie gym. Post like "where is the sheet", "why the sheet is private", "when stake publish", or something like that will be deleted
it is very good that you are confirming all these information. Take some rest during holidays and we wait for final sheet and distribution in mid January! Yeah the team deserves a break now. What mining pool would You sugest? Im using suprnova now but i’m also mining btcz and i have been mining 4300 coins daily on suprnova and now im mining 5700 coins on other pool - thats alot difference and im thinking about switching ZEN mining to other than suprnova pool Any pool tips?  Many good ZEN pools, just try them and see for yourself (I dont want to make publicity for a pool) Any one know why my worker show wrong hash speed on suprnova ? One of my miner is 5.1k Sol but show 300sol only on suprnova ? But it is normal yesterday. Did you try to restart it ? Sometime after some time a restart is needed That right there is why i only use Suprnova. OCminer is active and jumping in to help us out of nowhere And the reasons i stated earlier off course. Also i feel my coins are safe at suprnova, no need to rush them out. Actualy using it as a safeguard and having some there and some on bittrex. Should make wallets but i got so many different alts its to much work until it is worth much more. |
