Have anyone got the problem with ESD? 1 of my rig regularly shutdown and when I touch it, it likes I'm shocked in a second with that spike.

If you could spend more money for it, I suggest you take a look on GTX 1070 Ti. I just have 2 rigs of MSI 1070 Seahawk and EVGA GTX 1070 SC, both are good.

I have 2 rigs of 1070 cards: 1 rig's using EVGA SuperNOVA 1300 G2 (~275$), and another's using the cheaper PSU Great Wall Golden Gigantic Dragon 1250W (~154$). So far so good!

I'm waiting for a correction to buy some. This coin looks good because it gets supports from government.

Just hold Ripple for the next 10 Years and you will be happy. I dont think that you can expect any Short term winnings. Other Coins are way more Profitable in short Term. But if you hold it on very long Term you will be a very rich motherfucker, especially to that time, when all ripples are on the Free market ^^ by that time ripple will be used as a standard for banking activities
Hope it work! I sent all XRP to ledger nano s already. Let check price again each 4 months.

I have one open-air rig made from an Ikea bench with three EVGA 1060 3GB SSC edition and one FTW edition. The three SSCs have the memory overclocked +835MHz in Afterburner. The FTW only clocks +475MHz. All four dual mine about 22.5MHETH and 243MH DCR once adjusted in Afterburner. Whole rig with open air fans uses about 400Ws combined while also running other coins on other components like Burst and a XMR. All paid off now. Very happy with the result of this rig. I should have stocked up with a dozen of these cards in the early spring.
Question: due to the nature of overclockability of the particular units received, they are more suitable for dual mining ETH+Something. DCR seemed an the popular choice when I started. Share discovery and market nuances make it hard to determine the best secondary coin alongside ETH. Are these cards traditionally better with LBRY, PASCAL, or SIA over DCR? Or is DCR still the best choice? Thanks.
Your mining plan is so nice! I'm mining ETH+DCR as well, but I even dont think much that I could go further with Burst and XMR.

I enjoy it. I will be doing this as a hobby ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Well.. you have to start somehow ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) If you are planning to stay with 1 GPU, it will be a waste of time in my opinion.. There were a lot of 1GPU miners in the end of May, and they are now slowly realizing that there is no profit in mining with only 1 GPU ( only if you have free electricity) Totally agree with you. And I'm curious that how do you know about "lot of 1GPU miners in the end of May", it's quite interesting for me

For day trading, ofc you should go with high volume coins. Also, I think you should trade BTC along them.

Hello world so clearly im a newcomer to bitcoin/altcoin. Ive spent a little time playing around with alts recently. I would like to know where some would recommend in terms of researching certain alt. what direction should i look for good reliable research.
I think it's hard because most of altcoins out there look like the same. For me, I'm not a day trader, I tend to purchase for holding like what I did in stock market, so what I'm looking at are: development team, potential applications, supply, coin market, community, and its volume.

I already sent all my XRP to ledger wallet, so let check the price again in next Feb.

I like using this miner but I would like to know how can I exclude specific card from mining? The problem is that on second rig I have one gt730 and one 1070 and miner wont work because of this one low end card. I would like to disable it and keep mining with 1070. Can you let me know what parameter to use for that? Thanks.
Here you go, using this command: --dev

Which is the biggest pool at the moment ?
Im using btgpool.pro but it seems that even if it has 7,25 msols, there is still 50 msols somewhere.
I think it's suprnova: https://btg.suprnova.cc/

I wonder how many noobs got burnt buying in over 0.05.. You better sell the next time it reaches it as it will probably be the last time for a while!
the developers missed a trick with their shady moves. bitcoiners would've been much better disposed towards this than bcash because it wasn't a blatant attack on bitcoin. the only people who don't want decentralised mining are bitcoin miners. Anything to make more money right, but I expect to see at least 50k BTC volume on Bittrex today the highest BTC holders are going to want to milk this cow dry.. I expect a huge dump on Bittrex, I don't see any reason for people to hold BTG thing. Instead, they can get BTC, ETH or BCH which are more profitable when compated to BTG, frankly saying. I'm not sure how it's going but I'm still holding some, take a look at the buy side, look like it has high demand. Maybe I'm wrong because I joined cryto mostly at mining not trading so I have not that much experience on this coin.

|

Is that pump because of its listing on Bittrex? As I see the volume is quite high and the buy side's in hungry as well. Also It's going big in suprnova pool, the hashrate's already double.

I think it's not the matter. Even with back plate we should use external fan for GPU otherwise its temp could reach 80C. I always try to low down GPU temp to below 60C, with that range of temperature, rigs could be stable and last longer.

|
|
Most of my GPUs are AMD RX series, but I still purchase some GTX1060 because it's cheap and it give me more options on mining altcoins which are achieved low hashrate if we use AMD: ZEN/ZEC/VTC/XZC/FTC/BTG/...
