841  Other / Meta / Re: Suggestion payment for those new member on evil IP. on: January 27, 2024, 07:51:07 AM
This can be done without paying a fee by using a clean IP address. He may have used Tor for Gokana and clean IP address for Gokana.
Yes, you are right about that. I honestly didn't consider it. I was thinking that if OP had reasons to use a VPN or TOR to mask their original IP while creating one account, they would try something similar the second time as well because they don't want to disclose their real IP to the forum. Perhaps when OP comes back, they can explain properly how they went about doing it.
842  Other / Meta / Re: Other Forum members are more civil than Legendary members, Why? on: January 27, 2024, 07:43:47 AM
This and many more are examples of insults and bullying by legendary members to express their point which they feel is better than the points of newbies. I never wanted to remember them , that was why I kept the thread going to see whether others have had the same experience. The thread was actually created for legendary members to also see what others are saying about their behavior then have a change of approach to public discussions. I know I am newbie, I am ready to learn but no through insults and bullying. Thank you for requesting for proof.
So my request that you post some proof or give examples how you are being bullied hurt your feelings? And due to that horrible state you are in, you are not capable of providing anything? My terrible "bullying" of you came after you created this thread, remember? That means that you should have older examples of terrible insults of me and others like me against you. I hope I am not hurting your feelings by stating that.
843  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: How I got scammed by chips.gg with insane proof from their employee on: January 27, 2024, 07:32:19 AM
The OP continuing to play is just a case of a gambler not knowing better, perhaps even one with a self-destructive attitude towards gambling that results in them making bad financial decisions. But that's a different topic of discussion.

A new update in the CasinoGuru case.
It has now official been closed by their complaints team. Their conclusion is that the whole thing was a fabrication. They claim that the whistle-blower was never an employer of Chips.gg.
I am reaching out to the alleged whistle-blower to provide me with more proof, otherwise I am deleting my original feedback for the casino.
844  Other / Meta / Re: Suggestion payment for those new member on evil IP. on: January 26, 2024, 05:13:18 PM
Here is what I don't understand: you first registered with the Gokana username and were met with the evil IP issue. By that time, you knew what evil IP was and that your IP affects that metric, and how much of a "penalty fee" you would have to pay to fix it. Why then, if you wanted to use the Gokana account in the future, did you create a new account (Gokana.) and pay the evil fee for that one instead of your original account?
845  Other / Meta / Re: Why do some campaign members posting essay? on: January 26, 2024, 05:04:13 PM
A long post isn't necessarily a good post, the same way that a short post doesn't mean that it's bad. There are occasions where both can be sufficient to get your point across. Generally, if you can explain something using simple language and without too many words, it should be the preferred way to go about it. But it takes time and space to correct it all if you are replying to someone who asked many questions or made plenty of mistakes in their post.
846  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: How I got scammed by chips.gg with insane proof from their employee on: January 26, 2024, 04:44:06 PM
Based on the current situation, do you have any plan to adjust the negative feedback which has been left on Chips.gg representative account?
The case is still not closed from what I can see. Five days ago, one of their agents rejected the complaint, but after that the player made two more posts that are not yet public on CasinoGuru. Let's see what happens after the timer runs out. I expected to hear more from the person who approached me via PMs, but they have gone radio-silent. I will send them another message to check what is going on with the case against the casino.
847  Other / Meta / Re: Other Forum members are more civil than Legendary members, Why? on: January 26, 2024, 04:35:00 PM
We are now on the third page of this thread and Funke never returned to answer any of the questions that were asked here. He never offered any examples of the abuse and bullying he experienced or noticed that it was happening against other users. If you create a discussion, you usually come back to it and participate in the exchange of opinions. The way it looks now, OP isn't interested in that. So, did you start this thread just for the sake of starting a thread or what was the purpose?
848  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Trezor's 3rd-Party Support Portal was Hacked on: January 26, 2024, 04:22:26 PM
Are you sure it's the exact same official email address and not something nearly identical but hidden with punycodes and coming from different source?
It's from their email provider. The service handling their emails got hacked. I don't know why that's something they would outsource to a third party, and why they couldn't have handled that themselves in-house. But like with anything, companies only change when shit happens.

Congrats on being selected as one of the ''lucky'' winners from everyone who applied for trezor newsletter... I was not that ''lucky''.  Tongue
I guess the hackers didn't recover the entire database or they did but didn't yet sent their phishing emails to everyone. Perhaps you will receive one in an upcoming batch. Have you checked the email today if there is any spam?
849  Other / Meta / Re: I wonder if the forum would be much better without signatue campaigns on: January 25, 2024, 04:40:52 PM
A ban of signature campaigns would drastically bring down the activity numbers. Bitcoin enthusiasts would still be around to discuss what's on their mind, but it would be in much smaller quantities than we have now. Get rid of the bounty section as well and Bitcointalk would look like an abandoned forum with perhaps 50-100 regular users. It would be great to battle spam, but bad for every other metric used to determine the value of a discussion forum.
850  Other / Meta / Re: cls63 Merit Source Application on: January 25, 2024, 04:34:52 PM
By looking at Rikafip's monthly merit overview, I can see that the Turkish local is in the top 5 in the category total number of distributed merits. My guess is it was like that in the past as well. What catches the eye is that the Turkish local board is towards the bottom of the list in the merits per post category. So, there is enough merits to go around there, but you are not rewarding each other enough. You have many more non-merited than merited posts and probably a lot of spam since it's a big local. A new merit source could somewhat improve those stats if theymos decides it's needed.
851  Other / Meta / Re: Other Forum members are more civil than Legendary members, Why? on: January 25, 2024, 04:24:46 PM
I guess it depends on the energy you bring to this this place and who sees your posts. If you are negative and criticizing, you will surely be met by the same energy from the other side. I have never seen a normal conversation turn into bullying and abusive behavior without a reason. If you have some examples of that, do show us and let's figure out what happened. Generally, you are not going to get attacked by normal members of the forum (regardless of rank) if you don't give them any reasons to attack you.
852  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Will Hardware Wallet Manufacturers Leak Customer’s Email Data? on: January 25, 2024, 02:59:59 PM
I started this thread back in November 2022 by creating new email addresses and contacting hardware wallet manufacturers to see if any of them would leak any of my fake data. Sadly, Trezor has become the infamous winner in this category. I received a phishing email yesterday following the hack of their email provider.

853  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Trezor's 3rd-Party Support Portal was Hacked on: January 25, 2024, 02:51:04 PM
Yeah, Trezor has suffered a second data breach on 24 January. It's again an issue with a 3rd-party. This time, it was their email service provider that got hacked and scammers sent out phishing emails. As dkbit98 mentioned, the users who signed up for their newsletters are affected. The worst thing is that the emails were sent from an official Trezor email address - noreply@trezor.io.

What's next Huh
854  Other / Meta / Re: The effect the mixer ban has had on the forum. on: January 24, 2024, 04:45:52 PM
Well if you know me you know most of the time I never used a signature. Been here 11 going on 12 years.  Maybe did 3 or 4 years of signatures and 7 or 8 without.

I was prepaid for 6 months and had done 1 month with the unnamed mixer. They had to end and asked for 4 months refund. I thought if they are on altcoinstalk I would contact them and do an ad specifically for them.

If I were younger and still planned to mine I would not need the signature money.
Ok, I understand now what you are talking about. In that case, get in contact with their representatives and see what kind of deal you can get for posting on Altcoinstalk, but don't expect such an attractive package this time. Remember to reserve and duplicate your profile from Bitcointalk to Altcointalk.

I am older my 67th birthday is in 4 days and mining only gets harder to do with age.
Oh damn. Remind me to stand up the next time I address you.  Wink

Dobro si me nasmijao sad. Ciga KYC metoda verifikovanja naloga. Treba imati sreće pa naći cigu koji će ti prodati svoje podatke a opet da ima i registrovano prebivalište za verifikaciju adrese i neki račun koji se može koristiti. Ne mogu biti putujući čergaroši. Martingale and d’Alembert systems in live casino games are proven, but you would need to have a good budget and nerves of steel.
And you would need luck on your side. Even though it sounds highly unlikely looking at it superficially, it can happen that you get into a losing streak that lasts 7, 8, or even up to 10 rounds. If your initial wager was $5, you are looking at a huge amount of money you have to wager to stay afloat. But not only that, you have to ensure that the game's betting limits will allow you to make that next big bet. If not, you just wasted thousands of dollars for nothing.

Speaking of using such systems. Do online casinos have automated systems in place that can recognize wagering using the Martingale system to limit you asap or is that a manual decision by an actual casino representative?
857  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Trezor's 3rd-Party Support Portal was Hacked on: January 24, 2024, 04:22:07 PM
I never received any phishing emails from fake trezor yet, but I learned my lesson with ledger.
If what Trezor said was true, you shouldn't get any unless you contacted customer support starting from December 2021 and up until a few days ago.

I don't see any good reason to contact trezor support, unless there was a lost package, device stopped working or something similar.
Those are the usual topics of discussion. However, I am sure there are people who have a question or two they want to clear with the support before ordering their product. I honestly can't remember the reason I spoke with them. But one of my emails is apparently on the list. I guess it's a good time to check my Will Hardware Wallet Manufacturers Leak Customer’s Email Data topic and see if there is something there that shouldn't be.
858  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: 10% discount on Ledger hardware wallets on: January 24, 2024, 04:12:59 PM
Of course it doesn't.  Why would they bother to mention a major detail like that when they've already established a precedent of omitting even more important, fundamental details about how their devices work?  Fuck them and the diseased horse they rode in on, their partners, and I hope the company is headed toward insolvency (though there's no chance in hell they would give so much as a hint of that and would only announce it after all the bankruptcy paperwork was filed).
I have to agree with you about the forgetting to mention important information or deliberately omitting the ugly truth part. But I remember that some of their past marketing emails contained more information, including the exchange service the promotion was connected to. But don't take my word for it. Memory is a bitch. Regarding the insolvency part, I don't think that's happening any time soon.

<Snip>
Thanks for showing interest. I will consider adding Empire.io to the collection the next time I decide to add new casinos. There have been other requests by different members as well. I don't add new and unknown casinos, but I can see that you have been around for a year already. I remember seeing your ANN a long time ago and the fact that you are VPN-friendly.
860  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: AMA: I Operate an Online Casino on: January 23, 2024, 05:22:20 PM
Cool thread, let's give it a try.

I have never had a positive opinion on casino bonuses. They are usually followed by high wagering requirements of 20-30x if you are lucky and can even go up to 200x if you are not lucky. Then there is the no wagering bonus where the casino doesn't require that its players roll over the winnings (acquired from bonus funds) an x number of times. But these bonuses have even higher initial wagering requirements than the wagering ones (without counting rolling over the winnings) or other restrictions like lower maximum win limits, lower maximum bets, etc.

If there are a few bonuses issued by certain online casinos that you personally believe are worth it, which ones would those be?
