Should be another day. The other option will be to sweep the private key of my account and double spend the coins with a bigger fee but doing that is quite cumbersome and high chance of errors happening and even that will take 2-3 days so I am trying to avoid doing that.

Yeah the blockchain.info wallet screwed up by sending a fee much lesser than necessary. Usually low fee transactions get confirmed within a day but due to the excessive load on the blockchain, it is taking much longer.
