841  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin being used for illegal activities on: October 29, 2016, 04:07:51 PM
Anything can be used for illegal activities.
I think that the main reason why btc has been rejected by society is that there's still much to learn about it and it's easier for them to speak ill of it than to try and deal with it.
I agree with you. Fiat has been you for many illegal activities for over centuries and no one actually wants to reject it. As long as bitcoin keep developing, no one can ban it or even ignore it.
yes it is not necessary to think about that either bitcoin is used for illegal activities or not, because all other fiat currency may be use for illegal activities and still no one really reject to use it, so we have to give concentration to the improvement of bitcoin.
842  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think bitcoin is one new step for sucess. on: October 29, 2016, 03:45:18 PM
Since the new generations will be more and more accustomed to technology, the net and its world, btc is definitely going to be a hot topic in the near future.
yes and the new generation is almost taking interest in online shopping,so they have already started crypto currency and bitcoin is one of the top in all these currencies, hope that it will be really the first step toward success.
843  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin transactions - Slow OR Fast on: October 29, 2016, 03:28:59 PM
is it possible that bitcoin will be accepted in local stores, shops etc. since transactions are to slow and customers have to wait until their transactions are verified. And nobody wants to wait.
Can transactions be seeded up to save customers time or any other way to use bitcoin  at local stores.
Maybe the best way to avoid this kind of situation is by converting your bitcoin to fiat. Yes I know the fact that you want to pay bitcoin because you want the benefit of going wireless and not have to carry a thick wallet in your pants but unless bitcoin's transaction are faster then we must resort to Fiat as of the moment as were not the one customer they have.

Actually, you don't have to wait for the confirmation obthe transaction when accepting bitcoin aa payment. Maybe stores should get the transaction details of that then later they will check what is the status of the transaction right ?

And yes its true. It is much faster to a transaction to be confirmed when it is converted first to fiat before you transfer it to another person.
Stores can adjust when they are already accepting bitcoin, the transaction time is not new to us anymore as sometimes it's fast and sometimes it's not. What matters to me is that when I see a transaction online even unconfirmed, it will already give me a feeling of confidence that in due time I will be able to receive bitcoins.
yes but most of the time people do not accept unconfirmed transaction specially when you are purchasing some thing from a strange shopkeeper, and that really feel very hard to wait for conformation of bitcoin transaction, i think this problem should be solved on 1st priority.
844  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: btc and traditional banks on: October 29, 2016, 03:16:59 PM
After your experience with the btc world, do you still trust traditional banks like you used to before?
Have you changed something about your savings?
Speak your minds!
of course I still believe and use the bank to date. but I save some funds have now been switched to bitcoin wallet. I want speed in the deal. I was the mobile, so I want to perform a variety of transactions wherever I am.
in present time as still bitcoin cannot be use as fiat therefore people are still using fiat and there fore they use banks for fiat, but hope that in future bitcoin will become more popular and then people will start using it for buying and selling and thus the use of banks will decrease.
845  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: October 29, 2016, 05:15:52 AM
Nope not really bitcoin is just a money from internet and if ever that bitcoin will be replacing dollar soon then means dollar will be depending on bitcoin and not bitcoin will depend on dollar. And i think bitcoin will be the main money for the world because dollar is famous and if that happens i think it's really imposible.

not really impossible but unlikely in the next couple of years or decades. as you've said not only bitcoin but most currencies are also dependent on the dollar. bitcoin would most likely play a part similar to that of a credit card right now. it's going to be widely used but the dollar would still be in control
yes it will really take some decades when people will give preference to bitcoin on dollar or any other currency, as the next generation is really taking interest to use crypto currency for buying and selling online as was as well in local shops, so the trend of using currency is changing now and the value of bitcoin is thus increasing.
846  Economy / Economics / Re: If bitcoin price is $10.000, will fiat be worthless? on: October 29, 2016, 04:18:56 AM
Big no When the price of bitcoin is in range of $10,000 dollars now then fiat is more worth because if you had somuch bitcoin to trade into fiat then the biggest money you get too. But there are big percent that will minus in everytime you doing trade for me this is a good shot.

The bitcoin will be $10,000 in 5 to 10 years. The fiat will still be used more than the bitcoin. They are worth something.

They will be used more than bitcoins because most of the users in bitcoin community are earning bitcoins so that they can exchange them into fiat and then use them as bitcoin is not accepted anywhere, so the users of bitcoin along with the users not using bitcoin are using fiat then it would probably be used more than bitcoins.
yes because in most of the countries still there are no facilities of using bitcoin for shopping and that is the reason that most of the people first change bitcoin in to fiat and then use it in their local market for shopping and fulfilling their other needs.
847  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: October 29, 2016, 03:50:02 AM
Its always better to invest money instead of saving. In saving, your money remains idle and doesnot grow. But when you invest your money, it grows and yields you profit.Investing in gold is an old method. Nowadays, people invest in crypto currencies especially Bitcoins to gain more profits.
Invest contains many risks which can make your all bitcoin blow away. You must a wise person who has a good vision of the economic system so that you can easily earn money from investing. Many investors lose their money because they do not have enough knowledge about investing
but i think if a person has not knowledge about investment then he has the best option to invest in bitcoin, as it is one of the most safest investment, where your can grow the value of your invested money only by holding i.
848  Economy / Economics / Re: What is your best investment strategy? on: October 28, 2016, 06:45:51 PM
The most important thing is to diversify! 10 or more different positions which can keep generating profits even if one or two fail or get shut down. Always diversify. At least in crypto world, there re tons of options.
yes that is right to say. but it really need a good investment and every one may not have such investment who invest his assets in 10 different places,
849  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: goxtool bot: portfolio rebalancing on: January 11, 2014, 03:38:31 PM
Bot is running nice, made about 1k eur in the last month. I'm tracking everything with excel.
850  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: goxtool bot: portfolio rebalancing on: December 12, 2013, 07:39:03 PM
Please edit the goxtool.ini and set use_tonce=True (and while you are at it also set use_http_api=True). It seems that with my current implementation some API requests during initialization come out of chronological sequence, making some API requests fail sometimes but the "tonce" which is only requres a 10 second time window has not such strict requirements and stilll works.

I have made this the default for new installations now but existing installations will still have the old settings in the ini.

Edit: and please git pull once a day, I'm still not finished with the pubnub stuff, its still a huge mess, their python API is ugly and incomplete and therefore the goxtool side of this is a huge pile of workarounds, I am still trying to fix it and make it more elegant and more reliable.

Thanks, it's working now.
851  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: goxtool bot: portfolio rebalancing on: December 12, 2013, 08:26:25 AM
please

git pull

and then run with

--protocol=pubnub

still experimental because I coded it in a hurry but seems to work already

seems to work, but it doesn't show the account info @ the top.
852  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: goxtool bot: portfolio rebalancing on: December 11, 2013, 10:31:26 PM
it seems to work when you switch to socketio instead of websocket.

EDIT: no it doesn't update anything then.
853  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: goxtool bot: portfolio rebalancing on: December 10, 2013, 09:02:47 PM
I used to run this bot and I am curious how it did during all the recent market insanity.

This is what it should have done in the last 2 weeks: https://cryptotrader.org/backtests/fNnNrr3t7Yq5t57FD
You can see a small profit there.

855  Local / Altcoins (Deutsch) / Re: Hardware für Litecoin-Mining (Empfehlung?) on: December 05, 2013, 10:08:15 AM

cgminer --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://middlecoin.com:3333 -u <your bitcoin address> -p x
856  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] profit switching auto-exchanging pool - middlecoin.com on: December 04, 2013, 08:48:53 PM
I'm getting low hashrates on this pool. When I'm mining LTC I get ~580MHs on my HD7950, with this pool only about 470 with the same cgminer settings, what could be the reason for that?
857  Other / MultiBit / Multibit crashing all the time. cannot access wallets. on: November 26, 2013, 08:53:10 PM
I don't know what's wrong. Today I updated to the new version, had severe problems syncing, program is crashing all the time or unresponsive. I somehow managed to sync to 100% without crashing. If Multibit starts, the menu-bar or any button isn't accepting any input, program just hangs all the time and then crashes. I had absolutely no problems until yesterday. I'm on windows 7 64bit.

EDIT: found the problem. I got a program running hooking some DX functions or something like that, that made the JVM crash. Weird thing and took me almost 2 hours and several Java re-installations.

http://www.ebay.de/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_sacat=0&LH_Complete=1&_nkw=avalon+asic&_sop=3

 Cheesy

ja bei den gezahlten preisen wird ein teil von denen nur noch in die Privatinsolvenz gehen können,
eine tolle Leistung für den BTC

In diesen Zeiten hat eine Avalon aber auch noch richtig viel produziert am Tag. Wink
