Another year, another 4 figure Ethereum is currently playing out, just $100 or so dollars from all time high. But what investments will perform better in 2021; Ethereum and further 2.0 launch with 1.8 billion Ether locked in staking, or DeFi projects with their locked markets cap of currently 6.6 million Ether?
I think ETH will do very well, but I have a suspicion that certain DeFi projects will out perform eventually, even if dump much further in the next bear market in a year or so. Personally I hope to accumulate more Ether for next year by investing in defi this year, knowing that some have 10-100x potential still,What do you think?
It's not either/or. Ethereum is a major part in DeFi ecosystem, and with rise in price of one, the other will surely follow. Lets just disclose that we're talking about established DeFi projects, not meme crap on BSC |

Ja sam sad uložio nešto Cardana u locked staking, dali je to neka greška? dali bi bilo bolje da sam uložio u DeFi?
Ja sam uložio preko Binancea, a vidim da drugi ulažu preko Uniswapa, Yoroi, dali ima razlike preko čega sam uložio?
Velka je razlika. Tj uopce nije isto. Cardano staking je POS algoritam koji stejkanjem jaca mrežu. DeFi je u biti protokol slican bankarskom sustavu, gdje ti dajes svoj novac "banci", a ona ga posudjuje okolo i zaradjuje na kamati |

A to ti se zove mempool hunting. Vrlo prljav nacin zarade, i imas projekte poput Keeper DAO i Archer DAO koji bi to trebali eliminirati u buducnosti.

S obzirom da uskoro krecu Polkadot aukcije na Kusama mrezi, sto je prakticno test za aukcije na main relay-chain-u, evo malo opisa kako izgleda aukcija za parachain, i sta su neke dve osnovne prednosti / mane, pa mozemo iskoristiti ovu temu za diskusije, ako ima zainteresovanih
Aukcije za parachain se rade po principu aukcije koja traje dve nedelje, i uradi se "snapshot" u jednom trenutku u okviru tih dve nedelje, i najbolja ponuda u tom trenutku dobija parachain, tako da nema cekanja isteka aukcije da bi se povecala ponuda, mora se dati najbolja odmah u pocetku (ne secam da sam vidjao ovakav tip aukcije)
Ono sto je jos interesantnije je da se aukcije rade na 2 godine maksimalno, sto znaci da posle 2 godine projekat moze da izgubi parachain (bude outbid-ovan), da li je samo iz mog ugla, ali mi ovo deluje kao vrlo veliki rizik za poslovni poduhvat, koji moze da ima dobar uticaj na cenu DOT (jer se DOT koji se da za "lease" parachain-a zakljucava na period dok je "lease" aktivan), jer ce svaki projekat raditi "hoarding" DOT tokena da ne bi bio "outbid"-ovan po isteku aukcije
naravno, postoji mogucnost da projekat lansira svoj mainnet, nezavisan od Polkadot-a, pre isteka aukcije za parachain, sto je odlicno za projekat, ali ne vidim kakvu bi korist moglo doneti Polkadot-u
jos jedna interesantna stvar je delegation, odnosno mogucnost da ucestvujete u bid-ovanju za parachain, delegirate svoj DOT projektu za bid (cime se on zakljucava na odredjeni period, dok traje "lease") u zamenu za odredjeni broj tokena tog projekta, ako bid bude uspesan, i projekat dobije svoj parachain (neka vrsta mogucnosti airdrop-a za HODL-ere, samo sto morate zakljucati tokene)
Treba jos dodati da ce mozda biti smanjen pressure na aukcije, jer su uveli i parathreadove a i "common good" chainove, koji ce se moci dati neovisno aukcijama projektu/projektima koji doprinose DOT ekosustavu |

Just get a Trezor or Ledger. IMO best solution for a hot or cold wallet. Safe and reliable, and supports all ERC20 tokens trezor and ledger is a good suggestions but look like the OP didn't want to use a kind of hardware wallet so, myetherwallet is the best choice for the OP But MEW is an online wallet, and he said he wanted something like electrum that has a desktop app. And both Trezor and Ledger have that. Most people think these 2 are strictly cold storage, when they are anything but. Some people use them daily, especially bigger holders, for that extra protection |

although this possibility is low and probably won't happen. but I want to ask you. if the bear market starts next month, and bitcoin falls below 20k. which altcoins were still able to survive and which altcoins are feeling the big impact of the bear trend.

Couldn't agree more, the fact that BSC centralized is supposedly to keep people who concerned about the idea of crypto in the first place from moving over to it if they could grasp that centralized means CZ gonna be the supreme lord which has authority over this blockchain.
Until this day I keep wondering why most of people choose to migrate to BSC than to other decentralized smart contract platform. I know the migration to BSC is simple but it's still better to move over the same decentralized blockchain than to centralized ones.

Recently i have done tx on uniswap. The total fees cost goes 50-80USD. noramlly compare to binance smart chain its huge.
anyway there is "Approve" and "swap" . each there are charging. why there are two things , means approve and swap,
there need to eth 2.0 or BSC needy to replacement this insane network fees... I really fedup
BSC fee's are the only posivie thing that go into BSC favor. Rest is not. Fundamentally, BSC is crap, and within a month or two, ETH fee's will come down, and BSC will be dead like xdai and matic |
