Nearly half of crypto users invest to boost living standards: Report
https://cointelegraph.com/news/bitget-survey-nearly-half-crypto-users-invest-boost-personal-living-standards

How has cryptocurrency investing changed?

Cryptocurrency, you mean those shitcoins where most people invest on a friend's suggestion and get trapped, I'm not sure but here in Bitcoin I'm sure 50% of the people come with this mindset, whereas from reaming 50%, we can consider 20% are those who are investing to secure their value (to avoid inflation and get some extra bonus returns) and from remaining 30% most of them call themselves Bitcoiners, most f them are trying their luck, for other you can say Strong hands and 1% to 5% are generation conscious. That's it but anyway, these are not any authentic figures just my assumptions.

But I think it will fall quite nearly.. For the shit coins, I can't be specific in anything and here we don't consider shito-coins.

My advice to young men is this: Don't get married in your 20's, or even in your 30's. You don't know yourself yet, and neither does your girlfriend/fiancee. You don't know the type of person you'll want to be with long term, and neither does she know. Don't get married and raise a family just because "it's expected of you" or "it's time". That's a complete bullshit expectation that society has burdened you with.

Build your career first, save your money, and invest. Get wealthier. Know yourself. Then in your 30's or 40's decide what you want in a spouse, and what kind of family (if any) you want to create.

I can agree with some of the points, even if sir you are experienced I think this advice might go wrong, getting married earlier is better in my view, as here in my culture, the average time supposed to be getting married is 20 to 25, Making your life stable first and than marrying is good but here the efforts should be even faster as before 25, you need to be stable waiting for 30's and 40's might feel you enough time, in a comfort zone you can't achieve anything and the time span till 30's and 40's will make you a person to always stay defensive and in comfortzone.

Better to struggle in your 18's to 23's and put enough effort to be financially stable enough to support a family, I'm not taking luxuries into the count as here luxuries won't end ever. Till 18's enough to know yourself, till 30's need to at least know who's your life partner and till 50's better to grow with your children.

At least this is what I think, the timeline may vary from culture to culture, and even with any culture, early marriage is more suited in the current age.
843  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Craig "Faketoshi" Wright saga continues. His team turns against him. on: October 06, 2023, 05:38:33 PM
Not everything revolves about public image and not all problems go away if you just stop paying attention. There were a lot of people that he dragged through courts (or threaten to) and that's not a kind of problem you can just ignore when that happens to you.

Hmm, yes dear I'm a little bit aware of what he did as NotATether created a topic a couple of days ago, Bitcoin.org indefinitely forbidden from serving whitepaper and client to UK At that time I did a background search on him because I've heard of his name a couple of times in the ruling. After that, I came to know how freaking stupid he is and what the shit he's bringing constantly.

Hmm, well for his karma I think, he'll definitely pay for the credibility already paying but seems like it has not affected him sooner or later he'll find himself in a quagmire. What he's expecting (a clean paycheck) defiantly impossible.
844  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Craig "Faketoshi" Wright saga continues. His team turns against him. on: October 06, 2023, 03:22:07 PM
I thought this might be over, but it seems not. These cases will continue until the community stops paying attention to these idiots. After exposing their leader, I don't think the community cares about them anymore. They were liars, and they admitted it, but they're still liars.

Simply put, why did Satoshi choose privacy if he wanted to make a comeback later? These fake Satoshis don't even have common sense. I would advise CSW to go for a rest, it really not his ground, can he spell Bitcoin  Wink.

846  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: | POLL | Best suited place for bitcoin symbol's before or after amounts? on: October 06, 2023, 03:02:10 PM
Never thought of this, well I used to get confused while writing any amount in USD as $15 or 15$.. same is the case with my local currency PKR.. But I think what matters is not the placement, most people follow the standard, and most of them don't. For other currencies, there can be standards I'm sure but for Bitcoin whatever you like, you can use because I haven't acknowledged from anyone that this si a particular standard for writing valuation in Bitcoin.

TBH, I was expecting such of the question, a few days ago similar kind of topic on why Bitcoin's total supply is 21M was posted and I was like I haven't thought of it as it's, not the principle that everything must exist on logic, I know specifically for the phenomena it should but for the things like why your name is ABC.. it really doesn't make sense that there would be logic,his/her name is ABC because his parents wanted.

Interesting, Imagine me that time buying $5 valued Bitcoins and forgetting till today, and now here in 2023 after going through this post unlocking my old wallet. Having Millions of worth Bitcoins. Ahhh what a happy moment that can be.. anyway, that really great to hear about such moments of Bitcoin. The initial price is quite surprising.

I am not sure how many P2P Bitcoin exchange services are running at the moment on the forum, I'm sure there will be a thread I'll search for it and definitely quote it out.

850  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Next-GenTrading Platforms: The Ultimate of DEX and CEX on: October 05, 2023, 03:47:50 PM
Can you mention any contribution of these central platforms to the development of any open source code? We have Binance and Coinbase. Do they have any developers working for free to develop open source software or to develop their own systems? If that is true, why did they create BSC?

There are many positive points that you can mention about central platforms, such as providing liquidity and the ability to trade, all of which would end if a truly decentralized platform was created between cryptocurrencies, and only their work would remain as gateways for converting into cash (banks can do this).

What if they are developing their own system, is it wrong if it's open source and you can utilize it as well with full transparency although you are paying for the services you are using from them, and that is how all the businesses work? So you can develop your own Blockchain if you don't want to pay them, whether you prefer using the Bitcoin network, ETh network, or BSC you have to pay network fees.

CEX made a huge contribution to developing the systems in the crypto industry in my above post I have already mentioned that mass adoption is the result of their marketing strategy. The ho DAPPs concept is based on the CEX's developed systems & features, most of the innovations are sponsored or fully innovated by the CEX. No need to be a fanboy of DEX's do credit their contribution at least.

No noo.. Banks cant do it, and banks really cant bear the pressure of the establishment and state policies, But CEXs can as they offer their services worldwide so they don't accept much pressure from the state if a state is enforcing them with their terms they can simply quit their service there but Banks cant quit they will compromise as their Bussnies domain is the state specifically with some exceptions but Banks really cant, giving benefit of the doubt if they can why they are not doing so.

Buddy, it's not that simple.
851  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do You Use Crypto Signals? on: October 05, 2023, 03:36:45 PM
If they do have 80% accuracy, then anyone who uses them would become wealthy in a short time.
Do you use any crypto signals?

Dear Shortcuts you, I won't say I had never used trading signals in my journey there were so many ups and downs as we all face, the initial time I did utilize the signals, and what I learned are signals can be used but just for comparison analysis be dependent on you own decision making don't follow another, find your own way.

I would like to quote an interesting story mostly in signals groups, they usually divide their community into 2 groups and post Buy and SHort calls in both groups respectively. Buy for group one and short group two with some TP/SL, one win, and there they post the success SS, and on the other side, they post motivational quotes and they launch their premium group on the basis of the last win in G1 and newbies crazily follow by viewing the SS's. That is the dark reality of Singla groups 80%.

For my fellow I would like to say don't run for the signals and shortcuts in the market as here you are competing with the more experienced sharp and confident smart people to make money, you lose they win, In this market 100% of people startup their journey with 100% motivation and 100% capital and end up losing 99% motivation and 100% capital. It's not easy to be consistent and disciplined, physiology is everything in this market.
852  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My difficult transition to the bitcoin standard (almost) on: October 05, 2023, 03:20:39 PM
Just a word of warning: many governments don't look kindly on people who intentionally avoid their surveillance like this. When you refuse to create a bank account, that means the government of this new country you live in as an immigrant or a foreigner can not monitor your every financial activity which they will see as a threat.

Hmm, that really a big concern as every government demands loyalty while you are preffring more privacy and freedom they can consider you as a Rebel / Opposition against the state, I know that is quite rare still the threat does exist. They consider any sort of off-the-record transaction as Black and FATF pressurise most of the government to take strong actions against such people.

As OP wants to stick to the topic rather than move in another direction, I will consider in OP's story he is very lucky in most aspects, and exploring this freedom feels great. I would like to say your own custody worth and if you are compromising your custody on finance it can lead to serious losses in hard times.

TBH a few hours ago my friend was asking about the current circumstances within the country as someone fed wrong information that Banks may freeze their account balance in the coming days, as chances do exist but according to me currently the situation of the economy is not that bad, still I would guide him about self custody option and BTC with DYOR strategy as well.
853  Economy / Speculation / Re: BitMEX founder projects $750,000 to $1 million #Bitcoin price by 2026 on: October 05, 2023, 02:41:31 PM
$1M Bitcoin valuation speculation is not new here.. as far as I know, a couple of months ago a micro/macroeconomist named BalaJii created a thread on the speculation of Bitcoin in 90 days. At that time there were so many positive rumors supporting his speculation as Blackrock's spot EFT application and other initial adoption indications. In short, his speculation got weightage at that time due to positive market sentiments. But I think even 150 + days are gone and there's nothing like that even hinting at the market.

At that time market was looking favorable and now in the current timeline, there are a lot of challenges we can consider but it will require a lot of developments back to back to boost market price to this level.

855  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Next-GenTrading Platforms: The Ultimate of DEX and CEX on: October 04, 2023, 06:41:49 PM
I see no benefit to CEX other than exchanging cryptocurrencies into fiat money, and banks can act as such gateways, so there is no real benefit to CEX. Some centralized services try to SCAM investors by saying that DEX means we will not ask you for any data and we may do it in case of scam, but it is still CEX as you do not control the private key and so CEX and DEX cannot be combined in one place because they both mean the opposite of the other.

Really. I don't think so I would like to make you familiar with the contribution of CEX in this industry, Most people prefer centralization, Just a reminder, so moving onto the topic dear fellow, centralized exchanges played a much significant role in the crypto industry marketing and revolutionization. Even most of people are familiar with Bitcoin due to the crypto exchanges' market strategies and their campaigns. CEX's spends a lot of money on the market, indtiducing new features and Fund the onchain top leading projects develpemtn which greatly support the whole crypot ecosytem.CEX's fights back on the behalf of community for the industry regulation (Even their own goals are also included within it).

Not CEX fan but we need to appreciate their efforts, and give them full credit of what they did for us, DEX's are good custodial a lot of emrits better experience still most people dotn trust the DEX protocols and they prefer the centralized exch ages for their smooth trading. DEX's are evolving and filling their space and CEX's are well established ones. If CEX has merits DEX do own as well and CEX has their significant issues on the same time DEX as well are not free of room for the development.

Hmm, Op I don't consider that your advice should be taken strictly because I think everyone can choose his wallet on his own by just knowing a couple of things. Consider the open-source Self-custodial wallets. A wise recommendation is Electrum and for more, newbies can really check on bitcoin.org.

Even though I would recommend if you don't hold many funds trust wallet may suit you like you can access most of Dapps. If you own a lot of funds consider a good hardware wallet.

858  Other / Archival / Re: Bitcoin volatility on: October 04, 2023, 02:36:19 PM
Yeah, it's a good thing to believe that Bitcoin is now less volatile as this will increase investor confidence and also,  they'd begin seeing it as a legitimate asset class because prior to now, fluctuations typically deter them from including it in their portfolio. However, a sustained period of low volatility could prove challenging for Bitcoin as the probability of a significant movement will be less likely.

Really? If it's going to lose the whole of its volatility, how can a long-term efficient accumulation be processed, how this market will grow in a cyclical order? How we will feel this excitement while spending time with BTC? I don't give a shit to those investors who are afraid of temporary pumps and dumps. I think more mature investors are gonna step into the market even with its volatility. I think this volatility is the beauty of the market.

Anyway, It's really considerable that Bitcoin is not coming up with big moves but does that matter if Bitcoin hasn't shown up with such patterns for a small interval? Hmm as the market is growing in mature hands it really affecting the volatility.

For the latest as you have a look here on the heat map, I think it would be interesting to see how the market behaves in this scenario. Image Source data analysis of a senior crypto influencer Bit India

Before you create your own post make use of the search button it's very important and helpful. If such thing keeps repeating itself it might end up down casting your image in the forum, most people may consider it as plagiarism.

Ahh.. That's really impressive, a new fellow is clearly following some decent tips, to improve the post-quality that really nice to see as most of the time newbies ignore the suggestions.

OP I haven't heard of it as a big acceptance by the automobile industry towards Bitcoin can really make some notice off. But currently, I haven't heard of it, at least on the mainstream crypto media or CT. So I can be sure there must be something wrong with this news presentation.

Anyway, a couple of more hours can clarify it as well, but from the latest post, I can be sure that Yamane_Keto makes sense in the current situation. But for more, we need to wait. I'm not excited about it as ETF approval can bring something next level until that, what the shit SEC are you planning for  Grin Grin, clarify.
860  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BIP324 (P2P encryption) was merged on: October 04, 2023, 02:09:37 PM
That's good news, now there's less reliance towards Tor and VPN to hide Bitcoin traffic. Although looking at https://bip324.com, which now redirect to https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/issues/27634 shows there are few unmerged PR.

we finally has a https-like encryption to Bitcoin  Grin

With small exception lack of SSL/TLS certificate due to Bitcoin decentralized nature.

Hmm, on the stairs of Privacy, A good development but in mitigating this risk VPN & Tor can be considerable still, using a full node on the priority can be more helpful and people ignore the mixing service most of the time while going through the transaction Mixers can boost your privacy rate, I don't think so their service costs much.

I think it's very important for privacy-conscious Bitcoin users to be aware of the risks of data breaches. Any sort of data breach can be used to track a user's Bitcoin transactions and identify their holdings. This could have serious privacy implications, so safety comes first, as it could allow attackers to target users for theft or other forms of harm. Don't let be yourself a target.  Cheesy
