With price so low and developer still around for development , its actually a good sign.
That' s my point of view as well. In the end of 10% stake I will have sth about 130k SUM. Don't worry guys I'm not gonna dump them for cents. That's only the beginning and I belive in this coin |

Now the fundamentals of the coin is good, we need PR. Scenario 1: Already big exchange like MintPal or Cryptsy bought a shitload of SUM at current cheap price, they list the coin, volume & price raise and there by dev gets enthusiastic and work on betterment of coin. Scenario 2: Dev and community need to work hard on PR, then big exchanges list it.

If we want SUCCES for this coin, then we need more MULTIPOOLS.If we are short in multipools, then after staking period is over, everyone will try to sell his own coins,
and if there is no one (like multipool) , who will buy those selling coins,
the price will drop to " 0" and our summer coin will be delisted from Bittrex and or other stock markets.Eventually we will left over with worthless coins in our wallets.  So someone must do something or we are all scrued. I think too that multipools are very important now. IMPORTANT ******** Ok people, if we need better multipool, why we won't just make it?  Really it's not so hard. If anyone of You knows how to make a multipool or knows a person, which could do that - please inform us and DEV. Reward for this shouldn't be a problem - Dev has a bunch of SUMs, which he agreed to spend on improving the coin. Can anybody please explain me, why did I receive POS coins for only about a half of my coins. I have all the coins in the wallet for same amount of time and they were all sent to my wallet with a single transaction. I assume that I am soon going to receive the POS for the other coins soon but I am just curious why this happened.

I belive that here's Your answer "POS mining" process is just about holding coins and leaving your computer on. Only matured coins (coins stored in a wallet over 24 hours) are eligible for POS. Each block (every 45 seconds), a random lucky coin is selected to be the next "miner". If a node with the selected coin wallet is running, it will collect the transactions, make a block, and send it to the rest of the network and collect the fees. If the computer is turned off, however, then the entire network will have to select a different coin to make the transaction. This time, the unresponsive wallet will be ignored.

@1211 Well, maybe the coins, which were on Your wallet for 30h have already staked (or staked before 10% POS) and the rest of unstaked SUMs waits for getting "mature" status. Check it tommorow, if that's only problem with "mature" Your coins should be ready to stake tommorow, I think.

@1211 Are You sure You have the newest wallet, ALL (that's important) Your coins have been in wallet since 24 hours and You unlocked the wallet? You have to do sth wrong anyway, becouse me and all the others have stake going on nicely |

You can get stake everyday. They don't add up to each other. No POS works like that. You have to open & unlock wallet each day to get Your stake. Cheers I've just received 3800 SUM and more are coming. PoS works fantastic! |

I got an answer from Bter too Hope that tommorow I will receive my BTC to buy some more SUM, while these crazy people are still selling them so cheap! I have gotten one unconfirmed reject. What could be causing this? I don't know, but maybe try to write to BTC38 - That's really big chinese exchange. Huge market. I had some problem to find their email address, becouse I don't know chinese. I will try tonight again. You guys could do it too |

Ok guys, we have 10% POS working, but that's not all! Today I have received an email from Cryptsy with response: "Thank you for introducing me to this coin. I have submitted your coin to our development team who will review it to see if it meets our requirements for addition to the Cryptsy exchange [...]" Looking good, doesn't it? So, I've been thinking about this. Its always summer, somewhere in the world. We should have a monthly draw to send one lucky person somewhere for two weeks summer holiday. They need to: 1. Show they hold a minimum of, say, 0.1 BTC of SUM 2. Have had SUM for a minimum of x days, say 30 days. 3. have tweeted about summercoin once over the 30 Days someone can do a random pick of an address. To pay for the summer vacations - Donations from x% of the mining rewards. This means everyone contributes - which means that those with little don't contribute more as a percentage than those with more. Why? It creates buying pressure. People need to buy in order to go into the random draw. The first holiday might have to wait until there is enough $ to make it happen. |
