From the update posted a few pages back. "Mindfox is well underway with our anonymous sending features. The other developers on the team have been watching the progress closely." Mindfox is a well known and excellent dev with many contributions to crypto. |

Damn almost no sells. Everyone moved to mintpal. The pumpers won't stop till everyone dumped their other coins to buy CRYPT. With btc-e rumors heating up we all gotta hold and see if they really do add CRYPT. You don't want to be the one watching btc-e add it and not be holding. |

Swim with the whales. For some reason whales picked that coin (probably because it went from nothing to 100k to 10k so the whales hold all the coins) so they can raise the price so everyone else comes to the coin and then they dump at a really high price. Whales were in CINNI went it went to 38k. Now it is just 1 whale driving the price up and down. So even though CINNI is better the whales care about how much they can make and right now it is easier to make money in another coin. |

@raw1 3 reasons I can think of that hurt it.
1. From the beginning there was a stupid greedy whale suppressing the price and putting sell wall after sell wall. That killed investor confidence, and created a lot of bagholders and now when a whale shows up with a 42btc buy wall, there is no confidence and demand, so people continue to dump at any opportunity they get. The whale then goes lower and lower with the buy wall, as a result lowering the price.
2. The devs set way too many specific ETAs including new "features release this weekend" and release in a "couple hours", and its been 2-3 days with no much of a release...ETA came and went with nada..people panic and dump. So I hope from now on the devs dont give specific dates. They should give round about ETAs and more importantly make sure all the bugs and kinks are worked out before releasing or updating.
3. People want to catch the train on other coins, like right now Crypt is booming, and they dont want to miss that shot. They have most of their btc caught up in downtrending/stagnant coins (like Cinni) so what they do is dump those coins to catch the hyped coins with the hope to make a quick buck.
..for what its worth, my two cents.
Right, most people want to swim with the whales and not against. So they will jump to the new pump coin since the whales are pumping that. You can try to go against the whales like CINNI but the whales probably hold so many CINNI coins that you don't have enough BTC to overtake them and continue to go against them. Out smart the whales and follow them. |

Is Zimstake making another run again, or is a whale accumulating?
Looks like a holder wants out. Buying is pretty dried up right now. Good price on some coins if you can hold a few weeks. By that I mean set low buy orders or buy up the cheap coins that randomly pop up but do not jack the price up. |

Silk Coin is 74% Mined out on the 2nd PoW so far... We are on block 57,400. Estimating a finish of PoW by Saturday...
The max coins to be generated until finish PoW would be 2600 (remaining blocks) x 2500 (block size) = 6,500,000...
However since it is a hybrid PoW / PoS the coins are a lot less for PoS blocks. So I am estimating that only 3,250,000 coins are left to be generated.
If half of those are kept by miners... that leaves 1,625,000 coins left to be posted to exchanges...
Bittrex currently has 18 btc buy support while Poliniex has 57 btc buy support...
There will be a concerted effort by people who want to increase their stake to lower the price and steal your coins. HOLD... If you try to sell and rebuy you will probably lose. If you hold you will almost certainly enjoy the rise of Silk to one of the top coins in crypto. The wallet innovations have just begun. The devs are working on updates and a white paper is forthcoming.
There is no reason why Silk can be sitting at 10 - 25k satoshi in a couple weeks.

So I wanted to correct my math from an earlier post. PoW ends on block 60,000 Current block is 57,895 60,000 - 57,895 = 2105 1900 hours June 12 to 0700 hours June 13 = 1334 blocks in 12 hours and 2668 blocks in 24 hours. 2105 / 2668 = 0.7889 0.7889 x 24 = 18.93 18.93 hours till mining is over. |

The price can't shoot straight up real quickly. It will come down just as quick. What I want is a more slow and steady start and then the epic buying will come in. Dark pump went on for 30 days and if you were able to hold the whole time congrats. I'm thinking of just buying and seeing what it is at when it is the July 4th weekend. Just crunched some numbers and around 58 hours of mining to go. So Saturday for most people and maybe Mintpal on Monday. Everyone is in a buying frenzy.

Last 3 times Mintpal added a market of their choice was on a Thursday, Sunday, Wednesday. Not expecting anything from Mintpal tomorrow. Bittrex is our long term home till we vote CLOAK onto Mintpal.
