841  Economy / Economics / Re: Are CBDCs good for the economy? on: August 14, 2022, 08:01:20 PM
Since 2020, many countries of the world have moved from exploring the possibility of introducing national digital currencies to their practical development. Regulators predict that the use of CBDC will reduce the volume of cash settlements, make transactions more convenient, faster and cheaper, and also allow financial inclusion of the population, which still does not have bank accounts. Of course, CBDC will have a positive effect for states and for the population, as the state cashless payment system will become more convenient to use. But in practice, there are still very few states that can boast of ready-made CBDCs, so we cannot yet discuss their practical application.
The development stage is getting to an end, we are not going to see the nations continue to make calculations and developments for another 10 years, we are going to end up with something much better which is the fact that crypto could make them earn a good chunk of money and they do not want to be late so they are going to start publishing.

With the published ones we are going to see if it works or not, if it really works then it is going to be awesome, if it doesn't work then it may not be as good as people think it is. That's my guess and I do not think that it would be actually dangerous, it would probably be something we get to see and learn more about only after it starts.
842  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can Day Trading be profitable in Crypto ? on: August 14, 2022, 06:39:02 PM
Some say it was profitable while the others are saying NO. There are shared opinions and it was because the results will depend on the trader itself.
These people are true to their experience and this is not about getting lucky like gambling but this is all about choosing the right coin(s) and effective strategy, and there is one thing that affects everything, decision-making.

We can't make any conclusion unless we have tried it, not just once but it is supposed to be more than a trial.
That's the right answer. Also even the trader itself could change their own answers by the fact that if they trade early on and make a loss they will think it's not worth it, but the more they trade the more they will earn and then they could change their answer to it. I am one of those people who say that it doesn't worth to do daily trading because in the long run we will all make a good amount of profit by investing, not trading.

But, I also know a few traders who make a good amount of money and that is something I can agree on. As long as that's the point and the situation we are in, that's fine and I do not care about anything bigger than that, it's all based on the person.

Juventus will also be without many important players. We already know that Chiesa and Pogba are long-term injuries, but there are also McKennie are Szczesny who will be out for a few weeks. Cuadrado was sick and missed parts of the weekly training, but he should be OK to start. De Sciglio is injured like always. Alex Sandro is as bad as they get. Kostic just arrived and signed his contract two days ago. I am not sure he will start, but he surely doesn't know his teammates expect for Vlahovic from the Serbian national team. And Dusan is the only real attacker Juve will have available for this match because Kean is suspended.
Jesus Christ that seems excessive. I didn't realize that Juventus was missing so many players, I was expecting that it would be a little less, I knew Pogba but some of these became a news to me. I didn't follow them very well recently so that's on me but seriously that looks like it's something that is excessive. They are unlucky and I hope that they get better.

This will be a problem for a few more weeks, then it gets better and eventually it will get to a point where they will have everyone back. These type of seasons where teams have great rosters but they get unlucky are number one reason why their roster also blows up right after the season ends because of all the pressure.

Being listed on a major exchange like Binance is an advantage but the trading volume of FUN is quite low there I'm actually worried that they will be delisted if the volume remains low because that is one of the reasons for Binance coin delisting, it's just that the development of this token will continue and hopefully can also have an impact on the trading volume.
Yeah, there is a possibility that Binance may delist FUN/ETH and FUN/BNB as these trading pairs have really low trading volume. However, there is still FUN/USDT with a daily volume of more than $200k, and I doubt this pair will be removed in the near future. In addition, according to data on the CMC website total daily trading volume of the FUN token is more than $2.8 million. So hypothetical delisting from Binance is unlikely to have any significant effect on the price of the FUN token.
Maybe it is just me, but we do not need to be as big as BTC or ETH or even SOL at this rate to say that we are doing fine. Which leaves me saying, if all pairs are gone and just one pair is left, we are still in Binance and that’s more than enough right? Like I get it, it could have been better, who wouldn't want to hold a token that went to top 10 or something, but that’s not the point. If you buy now, and it becomes top 20 later on, with no other pair, that’s still amazing.

So instead of making our trading stretched thin on other pairs, just focus on that would be left. I would guess that it would actually make sense to do something like that in the long run.
845  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 13, 2022, 07:25:02 AM
They surely can get another new players if they want .
With a note that someone need to be kicked out , de jong and aubameyang has been told to leave as they would force them to cut the salary , still they are rejecting the proposal and prefer to stay ... which it's another strange thing to witness. Dammit barcelona.
They can continue to sign new players, but it is useless if they cannot be registered.
I heard rumors that De Jong or Aubameyang prefers to stay because Barcelona still has debt on them. Barcelona still cannot give all their total salaries during they worked as Barcelona players. They may easily leave once they get all their salaries. So, it depends on Barcelona now, whether they want to pay all the salaries or not. This problem should be fixed first before thinking to get more new players.
They can't really "sell" those players because they are not wanted for that kind of money and they are not offered that kind of salary neither. Barcelona wants to sell them for a higher price, and they can't because nobody paid that much, and also the players want similar salaries from the clubs they could leave and nobody pays that much salary to them neither.

Hence, it is a big problem and I do not know what we are going to do, it will be a problem for sure. At the end of the day, it is better to just let them be and work on the team and how to fix it without selling them, which doesn't seem like a proper solution so far but maybe sell some other players? Or convince other players to take a cut?
846  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: August 12, 2022, 09:25:44 PM
Udinese had a bad run last season and even they are under the top 10 because they have dropped a lot of points, I think this season udinese will also not be too different and it looks like it will be a difficult first match for udinese because they have to face the defending champions serie A, I think there is very little chance for Udinese to be able to end the match later with a draw, let alone get 3 point in Ac milan home.
If we compare the squads of the two teams, of course the quality of Milan players is far above those of udinese, so I personally have no doubt that AC Milan will easily win their first game of the season.
Serie A starts tomorrow, I'm looking forward to it! I looked briefly at the Milan-Udinese and the first thing that caught my eye was that Ibrahimovic will not play due to injury, the season has not yet begun, and he already has a knee injury, he cannot help Milan against Udinese. It is not surprising when a footballer is 40 years old, but it is surprising that Milan extended his contract with him. Wink I suppose that Ibrahimovic can spend most of the season on the bench.

By the way, Giroud's participation in this match is also in question, he has clogged muscle.
That was not a new injury, we knew that he would not be playing for many months and he will be missing majority of the season. That has been the case for over a month now. He had a knee injury and got a surgery there and he will come back like December or January if I am not wrong? Based on his age it could also be a bit later as well.

So he will basically miss the entire season, but since his injury doesn't make him stay at home, he may eventually come to the games and watch it from there, and try to help his teammates play better. Kind of like an assistant coach job, which is what they are paying him for this year, nothing more and makes no sense to me at all.
847  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: August 12, 2022, 08:23:03 PM
There is no league that weaker teams who do not spend money become successful, in football you have to spend money, buying good players is what makes a team strong and successfully, and to buy very good players, money has to be spent. Psg bought many new players last season, and some of them have not adapted with the team yet, and that happens to every team. It is not a lack of team spirit in my opinion, these players will soon get used to playing together and it will make them a winning machine.
Only good players can't bear good result and it needs good coach and facilities also. Obviously good and experienced players matter. But without proper strategies and tactics, it is really tough to win in the competitive match.
Managers are the decisive factor in every single team. If you have a team that's decent, and have a team that's good, but decent team is managed by a GOAT manager, and the good one is managed by someone like me, then the decent team will beat the good team 9 out of 10 times.

We shouldn't really be considering that as an option at all, we should be considering this as the most important part. Get a great manager first and then get the players after that which would fit his mindset. PSG didn't get the greatest manager they could get, which was Zidane, he was the best one and if they offered 60 million a year (and 120 million signing bonus) to Mbappe, I am sure they could have convinced Zidane with enough money.
848  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Millions are still been raised in this bear market on: August 12, 2022, 04:02:30 PM
Bear market is here but new NFT/Metaverse projects are raising millions of funds, I think this is not bad news for the future of crypto and the next bull market might even be bigger than what we've seen before, what do you think? Are you excited for the future of crypto.
You know mate, sometimes there are other communities here in the crypto space that look down on the bear market when it happens, just like what is happening now in this industry. Now when it comes to the matter of metaverse/NFT, I don't see any problem with that as long as it is legitimate, it can provide a good opportunity for the community to make money or save in the future.

And as I mentioned that if a project is legitimate, it is not surprising that it will attract a lot of funding for the project because it is sure that this thing will do well in the future and that the community will enjoy it even more.

But right now, I don't seem to have heard of any new projects that have raised millions of dollars under NFT or metaverse. And the question is, is there one? and what project is this? do you know anything dude? or if there is one, can you post the link here so we can see it too?
I do agree that there are a lot of people who dislikes the bear market period, and they are very wrong because any good project that can survive this market will be a super high price later on in life. If you are not a 70 year old person, you could totally wait for it to happen and that way you will be doing very well.

I am not saying that it will not be a great profit in the short term, because if you invest in the correct time, then you could make a profit in the short term as well. But I know that it will 100% certainly be higher in the long term, there is no doubt about that part and if you are young enough, then you should be able to wait for it to happen.

What users need to bear in their mind is that no site will be able to satisfy all their users in such case due to timezone.
Even if they drop the bonus code in different time that what they did yesterday, there will be other complaints from other users of different timezone.
I was able to claim 2 codes yesterday, the first 2 codes if I remember it correctly and I would not complain even if I cant claim the code because the time of the drop is not friendly for me.
Yeah this isn't the first time we've heard of it since a few years ago and Stakes can't do anything they only distribute the drop separately
Drop is a giveaway category, so whoever is the first then he's the lucky one different from the weekly/monthly bonus which is distributed to each user
I think 24 hours was something they could have done and it would have helped them a lot. Because in the end if there are people from different time zones, then why not make it one code per 24 hours and that way you would be able to get everyone. Hell, making it 18 hours would have done it, it would be still good, and maybe 12 hours would cut it as well, still a dangerous play though, would prefer 24 hours.

This doesn't mean that they "have to" do something like this, it doesn't mean that it would work that way. I personally believe that it would be quite tough situation to be in if I was in their shoes, if they do it 24 hours then it would be too much, but this way there are complaints.

Thomas Tuchel is now pressuring Chelsea owner Todd Boehly into making a good offer and fight to sign Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, having lost Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner this summer.

is a 33 year old Aubameyang really the answer to Chelsea's striker woes? This certainly looks like a short term fix for Chelsea. Probably just for a season until they can get a good striker in. They could go for Ronaldo, since Ronaldo wants to play in Champions league for another season.
Chelsea atm lack a formidable scorer and I’m confident that Aubameyang could be a good choice to fill that void. Ronaldo? I think Tuchel will prefer Aubameyang to Ronaldo considering the fact that he knows Aubameyang well from their time together at Borussia Dortmund. And Aubameyang knows the Premier League and the city of London well following his four-year stint in Arsenal and would bring a guarantee of goals to a side in need of them.
Will Aubameyang be the answer to all their problems? Of course not, but will it be better if they didn't get him at all? Absolutely not. If they could get someone decent then it would be fine, but they got nobody and they need someone and he would be a perfect fit, plus he knows the premier league as much as anyone, and he was just benched by Barcelona after just half a season because they got Lewandowski which is more than enough. So that is why I have to say that it would be a win-win situation for both of them. Don't get me wrong, they could have bought a lot better players but apparently the new owner only likes to rumor about getting players, and not actually getting them.

Engine regulations for 2026 have come to an end. Porsche and Audi have long shown interest in getting into Formula 1. However, there is nothing official. Both of these brands may be waiting for the finalization of the engine arrangement to announce their entry into the sport. The new engines are produced at the request of these two manufacturers. The 1.6L V6 turbo engine will be continued but the MGU-K unit will be preferred instead of the MGU-H power unit. It is aimed to obtain more power from the engine, reduce costs and use sustainable fuels. Competition is expected to increase but it is making the sport far from organic. Honestly, I miss the 90's.
I do not remember the 90's to be fair. But if it means that Audi and Porsche will come then I am fine with these regulations. I always said that indycar is not getting as many views as F1 because they are using the same cars for everyone, which makes all cars the same so one racer that finished last race, could finish first next race and people want to see rivals fighting it out, and if F1 continues down this path the races will be closer like that.

But apparently the teams still find a way, look at how close the races where, and yet the winners are always from the best cars. This is why I do not doubt that teams will find a way to make it work one way or another until that period to get a lot better.
852  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Futures Trading is not for everyone on: August 11, 2022, 07:06:52 PM
I now officially accept that I am far from been a pro trader, at least that's what I thought 🤔.
Don't beat yourself that hard. Your problem was that you got carried away by the victory of the previous day. I guess that made you risked more than you could carry because you felt it would net you more profit. I believe in that axiom of slowly winning a race. Don't be in haste to hit a jackpot. Take it slowly. Now that this setback has happened, you shouldn't run away from futures trading because of that. All you've to do is correct the error that led to your loss. Stick to a trading plan and maintain money and trading discipline. Netting even $100 daily is a huge achievement, even when it's on a $5k account. You did more than that on a mere $300. Don't try to over stretch your expectations next time.
I agree, there are many people who end up making a good little success and live with that until they lose it all. The idea of making a profit once gives people confidence that they can't find anywhere else and this causes them to work harder to make that happen again. It is not going to happen because we are talking about a big fail, and if we end up with a big fail then how could we end up with a good profit later on?

We will lose our confidence because of that fail. So do not make the wins give you overconfidence but do not let the losses cause you to lose your confidence neither. Make sure that you are in just the right spot and not get affected by any of the results.

I saw on the news that the xQc streamer made $686 million worth of bets in three months, but I can not find a reliable source to confirm this news. Have you heard anything about it? If this is true, then in my opinion this is a clear disrespect for his viewers, since it is obvious that all the money from this amount is fake - he clearly could not wage such a huge amount.
https://clips.twitch.tv/HeadstrongModernMartenPJSalt-7X2eG1SgCuLkUIN_

You can check it from here. He says that he wagered that much, but also we do not know when he wagered it, so that means it could have been back when bitcoin was 1k, which is still a lot of course I am not denying that but he could have done that, I do not know when Stake started but he could have started on early days and wagered a lot as well during those days when bitcoin was cheap.

All in all I believe that he wagered way too much, and that's the proof, maybe he is using someone else's account, who knows? But I prefer to believe him because if he is super rich, then wagering that much seems possible, not "losing" is the important word here, he didn't lose that much, he wagered that much.
854  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 11, 2022, 08:59:30 AM
I don't know where De Jong's next election will be. but at the moment the interested club is United. but it is reported that United are also looking for other players if they do not succeed in bringing De Jong.

I think Barca's problem is not only with De Jong. 2 more players are said to be expelled from Barca because they are not included in Xavi's plans.
I do agree that United would love to have De Jong, the perfect player to get into the midfield, but they are looking at so many players that, this De Jong news is not a big deal. It is not like they have put all their focus on getting him, they are just "looking" at him, like ask Barcelona how much they would want, it is not even on the further stages of negotiations, which is why I doubt that it would happen.

We still have about 3 weeks to get the transfer window closed, which means that teams will get quicker but they still have time. So, United could keep on looking for other cheaper alternatives for another week or so in order to decide if they really want to pay that much for him.
855  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 10, 2022, 09:18:07 PM
It's more of AD, I will agree to that and if I'm not mistaken during their championship run, it was really AD as their first choice in offense, even last season. The problem is that AD gets injured more often and just play minimal minutes and not 100% healthy. If he will be injury free next season then good as he will get a lot of touches in the paint, probably posting some big men. And then throw it out to their shooters for open shot, even WB can be a good option in the 3's. Or the receiver can do a quick penetration for easy two or dunks.
Seems like it, they will start to play like they were in 2020 when they got the title but this time with a slight change in their roster because back at that time, they don't have Westbrook and they got more extra players that could be reliable when one of their main line-ups is resting.

I believe Darvin Ham has a plan and part of that is utilizing Westbrook's capabilities while AD will do most of the offense, this might work. Let's find out soon, they just have to be healthy throughout the season though.
I agree that AD was a great addition to that roster and he played very well and offense relied on him a lot. But at the same time, he had a horrible season last year, and that's the main reason he wasn't the offensive focus. Lebron scored mainly, and that is a great thing for Lebron, but he wasn't enough at all, his defense also got hit by it as well.

This is why I believe that AD as offensive anchor would be great, he is also great on defense, but only if AD could score, if he fails to score then it is going to change quickly back on Lebron scoring. Westbrook is gone, so far gone that I do not even have any type of hope that he would be good eventually again.

I would also advise holding the Fun tokens and do not sell it for few satoshis. Also this is the best time to buy fun tokens at cheap prices (when bitcoin is in a bear mode). Even if you do nothing with your fun tokens and keep holding it for a year or two, i am sure you will get better returns. And you do not have to worry about the project, fun token and freebitco is not going anywhere and you can have a safe investment in this.
I think that’s true for most high level coins and also the ones you like a lot. For example, if you think that bitcoin will stay low, you are probably wrong and it will go up, eth will too, and bnb probably will too. These are just my guesses but they are pretty easy predictions to see and they will go up. In 2018 people started to think that it will never go up and we saw what 2021 did to us so we could have that again in the future.

Same goes for fun token in my mind, it is backed so there is no way that it will be just staying low like now, it will go up in the future and that will give us a good chance to make a profit as well, so we should look into it and wait for it to go back up.
857  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Turkish Super League 2022/23 Season on: August 09, 2022, 08:02:55 PM
I think Fenerbahce underated their opponent Umraniyespor that was why they left their defense line to be empty and porous for the attackers of Umraniyespor to penetrate anyhow. For a team like Umraniyespor who have had good record against Fenerbahce I expected the coach of Fenerbahce to have strengthen the defense line of his team to enable them not to concede goals when they scored goals but the reverse casa was clearly seen in the game. The late equalizer goal that was scored by Mergim Berisha for Fenerbahce didnt come as as surprise to me because at thet moment the players of Umraniyespor were too relaxed to defend a clear chance they had to tan all three points from away match so I believe it was a lucky evening for the home team Fenerbahce to have secured a draw in the game.
There is no excuse, even if underrating the opponent, they should have been amazing. Fenerbahce seems to be worth 186 million euros on transfermarkt, and umraniye seems like 8 million, that's 178 million euro difference between both clubs, they shouldn't even be in the same league if you ask me, that's how much the difference is.

At the end of the day, we will see who will do the best in the long run of course, I am sure Umraniye will end up lower in the rankings than Fenerbahce at the end of the season, but this game was 2 points stolen from Fener by a team that is much much smaller, nearly 23 times smaller if I am not calculating wrong, that's a big deal.

It has some limit on the drop and not everyone can get the amount money, I guess just gonna to sleep rather than waiting a Monday ~XD My expectation is gonna to get a claim link like Monthly/Post Monthly ~XD.

But, seem like not.
True. Until now it's underwhelming.
I am living in Europe and the first 3 drops have been too early, as usual. So there are only 2 remaining.

Also instead of making the drops only for players that wagered last week (5k) it would have been fair if it's like 30k wagered in the last 365 days, in the end it's a birthday drop and should reward players that have been sticking around for months/year.

The 5 mil race of course is big but we all know this is just for diamond/obsidion players and streamers, no normal player wagers enough to even get a 3 digit amount of the price pool.

2 year user of stake and I regret to say it but it's getting worse.  Cry
I have to say when there is a requirement to gamble, and there is a time limit which would make it look like Europeans will miss it, makes no sense to me. Make it daily and make it 24 hours each and that way you will get a good amount of people who will be taking care of their business on time.

I do not care about this 5th year business at all, they can do whatever they want because they made it clear that they do not want me to be there, between the missing of the first 2 ones and then the third one being requirement of money, that just says they are not giving anything to people like me and if that's so then I do not care about what they are giving anymore neither.
859  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC make a new high in 2022? If not then what will be peak point? on: August 09, 2022, 12:10:03 PM
As we see BTC make a lower of this year round about 17K$. Now BTC is consistently moving around 22-24K$. Many big whales buy BTC of worth of 10M$ and much more. Big whales are investing for long term and thinking about it will make a newer high. A newer high will be in the end of this year and next few years. A new higher will not be formed in the end of this year.

My opinion is peak point of BTC in this year will be above 50K$. A good opportunity for Buyers. Your opinion will be acknowledged.
Not a single day within this bear season do I think the price of Bitcoin will reach high above $40k. From the 2nd quarter of this year until today, we have never seen it rises back to $25k. Whale's participations are very quiet, even for these institutional investors - these are some indications that it was hopeless to see the market in big rallies. Maybe I was wrong but from what I see, we may end up this year still in a bearish condition.
$30k-$35k - that was my prediction
I doubt that. There wasn't a notification about an increase when it happened during the last bull runs, doesn't mean that we will go up, but I just mean that not seeing an increase right now doesn't mean that we will finish it in bearish way.

Maybe there will be a huge increase, maybe there won't be and we wouldn't know what’s going to happen, all we know right now is that if there is a good increase, it won't be known right now and that’s fine, nobody will give you a notification about an upcoming increase and there wouldn't be any way for you to figure that out right now. This is why we should just wait and see, maybe it will be a good timing, or maybe it will be a bad period.
860  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: August 08, 2022, 08:15:52 PM
I expected that Manchester United would start like this, if you look at my old post you will see that I said this, I don't trust them because some players are really clumsy in terms of defense, watch the first goal in detail and you will understand what I mean. Except for the United match, City made a solid opening in the City-Westham match, and Halaand, who was criticized in the friendly matches, carried his team well by scoring two goals.
This was the main reason why Ronaldo wanted to left as well. Sure going to an UCL team where he will get paid handsomely and then play as the main striker and having a lot of goals is the "main" reason on public, but if he believed that they made changes good enough to fight for a title or something then he would have stayed one year and get a title or at least try to.

But, he saw that defense was the biggest reason they sucked last year, Maguire was a big problem, and the team did absolutely nothing about it and even lost Pogba along the way as well. United looks like they do not actually want to get better, they are aiming at worse by the looks of the transfers if you ask me.
