841  Economy / Gambling / Re: Action-gamble.com - Multiplayer rock paper scissors on: January 03, 2017, 08:40:00 PM
Hi,
I just added free play !
At the end of each week I'll credit a bounty to top 3 players, first will get 0.01 btc, second & third will get 0.005 btc.
To prevent cheat, the winners must be registered here with a "clean" account (for example accounts with an activity of ten will be refused).
On Tuesday I'll give the username of bests players, you can PM me if you see you username, or talk here.

I think that we'll start like that Smiley
The more promos the better. But can you clarify what you mean by "clean" account? I understand that negative trust account are out, that's fine.
But then you are not accepting all newbie's accounts or only accounts with less than 10 activity? I am asking because 10 it is not really any activity rank changer on bitcointalk.
I think it would be fine that every account with less than 30 activity won't be eligible for this promo.
842  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there a good modified martingale strategy? on: January 02, 2017, 04:18:38 AM
There are many variations of martingale, we can use reversed martingale called Paroli, Grand Martingale, mixing martingale etc.
Every single form of martingale I know is flawed and in the end will kick you in the nuts. If there was good gambling strategy then owning a casino would have been a charity instead of a business.

It is actually quite funny that casino operators at some point in time tried to limit players from using system betting, but in the end they noticed that martingale and its variations are not dangerous for the house.
843  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I Need 20 Questions on: January 02, 2017, 02:59:43 AM
1. What is the purpose of the coin? (Is is only used as currency or there is some deeper system behind it, like Namecoin for example)
2. Is the coin deflationary with hard cap of coins or not?
3. What is algorithm behind the coin? Standard hash solving mechanism, or like in  Primecoin case mining involves finding Cunningham chains or something else?
4. Is coin POS/POW or mixed?
5. Was is heavily premined, how many coins are in the hands of devs?
6. What is special about the coin? Is it having any form of unique solution implemented?
844  Economy / Gambling / Re: PRIMEDICE COMPROMISED on: January 02, 2017, 02:33:15 AM
At first glance Op's case is very similar to this problem https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1488696.0
Someone deposited 13 BTC and the money never showed as PD's balance. AFAIK in the end PrimeDice said it is entirely user's fault too.
845  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Get free 0.1$ every half hour and withdraw to any e-currencies on: December 31, 2016, 12:44:56 AM
just registered, trying my luck with the giveaway
if I understood it correctly, there is a random draw going on every 30 minutes where the system is choosing one of the players for the 100 points prize?
also there is no bitcoin withdrawal option it seems, just the perfect money one
Op has been edited? Because from what I see now promo seems to be working in a different way - first 10 depositors should be eligible to claim it.
There is nothing about random distribution of that 0.002 BTC.
846  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Traditional Gambling or Online Gambling? What's yours? on: December 31, 2016, 12:31:48 AM
Traditional gambling all the way, its way more fun if you ask me and the fact is also that you can see someones face if they lose or win that is pretty funny if you ask me.
Also the fact that you can do it with friends and speak to each other makes it more enjoyable than on internet, on internet there is no atmosphere.
I feel you, live gambling is still the way to go when you want to maximize your experience.
But apart from the biggest casinos in Las Vegas I don't know any establishment which accepts bitcoin directly.
I love the flexibility bitcoin gives me. I can start my bet from 100 satoshi and continue through hundreds of dollars BTC worth.
There is no live casino which can offer me that.
847  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2016-12-30] New Image Hosting Service Pays Thousands of Uploaders in Bitcoin on: December 31, 2016, 12:09:13 AM
While their business model is not exactly that much different that existing picture hosting sites but the use of Bitcoin is definitely interesting.
I wonder if Supload - is harbinger of new era of services powered by cryptocurrency, with MegaUpload2.0 on the horizon it sure seems so.
But from the other hand - they paid ONLY 2 BTC, even currently when BTC price is skyrocketing it is less than 2k USD.
848  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Pushing ETC to $2.00 on: December 30, 2016, 11:47:27 PM
will ETC or ETH the best invest for 2017?
I don't think so. This current pump of ETC is strange, certainly not caused by organic growth. Come on, over 30% rise in recent 24h? Tell me it is natural.
Soon it will drop massively - don't be baited by whales trying to pump it. There are better altcoin with brighter future to invest: Zcash & Zcoin, Maidsafecoin, Dash, Syscoin.

Maidsafecoin.. Why? Cant even find a normal topic on this forum about it..
In theory Maidsafecoin is probably the most awaited project in cryptocurrency today. This project is trying to o decentralize content publishing and hosting on a larger scale.
The problem is that developers team is working ultra slow, but the task is so massive and devs want to make  sure it works very well before releasing it.
That is why you probably didn't hear much of Maidsafecoin recently - as this project is still in alpha phase.
But because of that Maidsafecoin is one of the best coins to invest, once project will be completed and go live, price of the tokens will skyrocket.

Thnx for you're answer, i got two more questions;

1. The project is not live yet, but why is it already possible to buy the coins?
2. Do you think the project will go live in 2017?

thnx
AFAIK Maidsafecoin is in alpha stage, it is not fully completed. Full release is expected to happen at some point in 2017.
Current build has the core features but without Safecoin rewards i.e it is not mineable and with no guarantee of data immutability.

850  Economy / Speculation / Re: Holy crap heading past $1,000 !!! on: December 30, 2016, 02:17:33 AM
It's pretty amazing that the price is this high. It seems like it must be a short term pump, but you never know.

Nothing lasts that long. Currently the price is being driven by panic buyers that are basically too late, but they still think they can walk out with massive profits. I think for now, the peak will be $1000 or slightly above that, but after that we'll be subject to a correction that will push the price back towards the $800 levels. And to be honest, $800 seems to be a very fair price according to me.
No, no, no. It is real growth not some coordinated pump like that bot driven race from 2013. I bet that this time price will say over $900 for longer time, maybe even it will be new stable "low" price?
There is no negative news, no bad signs, technical indicators of market are strong, pump is not over. If you have a friend who doesn't own BTC, tell him now - soon we might see $1200.
851  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you use Cashback or bonuses? on: December 30, 2016, 02:07:19 AM
Hi guys!
Nearly every online bitcoin casino offers many many bonuses such as free spins, deposit bonuses etc. Many casinos (for example Oshi) offer you a choice whether you want to use bonuses or get cashback from your losses. My question is which of those option do you prefer and benefit from? Why?
Let us all know Smiley

The trick with the different promotional schemes is to read and understand the terms and conditions completely.  Each site has different conditions, so its important to read them each time.  Generally, I try to avoid match bonuses because of the seemingly impossible playthru requirements....If I win big, I want to cash out the entire win, but with the match bonuses there are often times limits....READ THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF EACH OFFER CAREFULLY before committing your money.
This is the way you should always act - don't get baited and read the Tos very carefully.

Many newbie gamblers are baited by 'free money' promotions while in reality it is usually almost impossible to grab even a penny from such promo because rollover requirement/odds/other terms are set too high.
Occasionally you may find great promo without hidden catch: additional lottery, cashback promo, leaderboards (all these can be found on SportsBet.io) or lucky hour (PrimeDice).
852  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [DASH] Dash Price and Trade Discussion Thread on: December 30, 2016, 01:56:56 AM
I think that recent good condition of Dash is mainly caused by this news: https://www.dash.org/news/announcing-dash-evolution-and-the-worlds-first-decentralized-application-programming-interface-open-source/

The problem is that Evolution is such big update that we probably even won't see it in 2017, release date will be pushed to 2018.
But with massively improved scalability - and if we believe developers: hundreds of thousands of transactions per second will be possible, Dash will be probably the best altcoin to invest in in 2017.

854  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2016-12-27] Halving History Suggests Bitcoin’s Price Is Heading for $11,210 on: December 30, 2016, 01:04:35 AM
Just for fun, take half of 371% = ~185%

From a starting point of 800 that gives you ~2,275

From slightly lower at 700 that gives you ~2,000

No real scientific basis, just having fun with numbers....

I like those fun with numbers. But we have to remember that Bitcoins block size is still an issue.
Even if that issue with block size debate would be solved - do you think that would be reason for price to magically rise from $960 to $11,210?

Author of this news tries to connect the dots on the charts - in a confusing way I must add. It reminds me of that games where you add numbers of your birth date to predict when you will die...

Bitcoin price doesn't work like this.
855  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambling with 0.01 bitcoin on: December 30, 2016, 12:45:09 AM
Op, you don't really need help with choosing the game you like, do you? If you are a newbie gambler then just pick game you think looks cool and start playing.

I just want to remind you that different casino games have different house edge values. I suggest you pick the ones with the lowest HE.

Black Jack (0.28%),Dice (usually 1%), Baccarat (1%-1,5%), Roulette (play only European version characterized by single 0, American version with double 0 is a scam Wink)

Don't touch Keno (more than 25% HE) or Slots (HE may vary, usually around 10%-15%)

856  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin gambling idea on: December 30, 2016, 12:30:32 AM
Op, brilliant and cool ideas are not cheap. I am not comfortable with sharing my thoughts and ideas so somebody else could use it for free.
If you want help then please offer some kind of bounty system. Some form gratification for ideas you would potentially use is a must IMO.
857  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports betting tips discord group. 15$ Entrance Fee. 90% wins. on: December 30, 2016, 12:02:05 AM
1. 90% win rate is not sustainable in the long run. I never seen any pro tipster maintaining such high win/lose ratio.
2. After joining your discord group who will guarantee me that you will give me tips? I might receive tips for a couple days and then you can cease your activity.
3. Again, if your tipster is so lucky/skilled, why he bothers with selling tips at all? With 90% win ratio he should be a millionaire in no time.

If your tips are really that good, then please create a thread here. Post your daily dose of tips for a couple weeks, if win ratio of your prediction will be that high as you said, then people will buy your premium service.

Only people who care about bitcoins are the people who own them.

Only a moron would fall for the ponzi scheme that is bitcoins.

"Hey man, buy bitcoins and we'll both be rich when the value goes up!!!"

In 2013 a bitcoin was worth easily more than $1000, this just means it's about to drop off again soon.

Damn the similarities to the threads/comments on here are uncanny  Grin
How I love the negativity of uneducated fools who believe that everything revolves around centrally steered economy and illusion of economic safety in the form of fiat currencies.
They seriously need to read some bitcoin related FAQ first and then comment. Or maybe it is totally FUD centered attempt to discredit BTC?
859  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Get free 0.1$ every half hour and withdraw to any e-currencies on: December 29, 2016, 03:41:35 AM
This is one of the weirdest Slots I have seen. I studied some combinations and I am still baffled by it. Seemingly similar combination won't give you win.

Edit: I read that description of the rules, it seems more clearer now, but I still prefer standard system of Slots machines better.
It feels weird when you have to select outcome while playing slots...
860  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Article on Bitcoin in my Local Newspaper!! on: December 29, 2016, 03:20:32 AM
Bitcoin being next big topic in India is an amazing promotion.

If even minor local newspapers are writing about bitcoin in India then it is obvious that general stance towards bitcoin is very positive.
Maybe this article was caused by this news - Largest Indian News Network: Bitcoin Will Reach US $10,000?
