Buddy, I have received the amount in my bit coin wallet stated above but its not confirmed yet. Is there this issue going on with me only ?

I see 55 confirmations now. There must have been a delay in confirmation (although the transaction was high priority).
As discussed with letyouearn, the repayment date will now be 24-Dec-15 (and not 23-Dec-15).
Letyouearn, please lock this thread now.

Bitcoin: What's in store for 2016

http://www.business-standard.com/article/international/bitcoin-what-s-in-store-for-2016-115121200746_1.html

While the hype may have faded a bit, 2015 was still a busy year for bitcoin. Venture capital investments topped $1 billion for the first time. People are finding it easier to invest in the digital currency, thanks to the debut of firms such as Bitcoin Investment Trust. Big financial companies - Nasdaq, American Express and Visa - invested in bitcoin startups, "a game changer in terms of attitude towards the technology," said Gil Luria, an analyst at Wedbush Securities.

So what's in store for 2016? We'll probably see the first bitcoin company valued at more than $1 billion, a self-imposed slowdown in new bitcoin production (which will put some miners out of business) and more financial institutions embracing the currency and its technology. The main unknowns are the price, consumer adoption and - as always - the real identity of bitcoin's creator, Satoshi Nakamoto. This all comes as bitcoin trades near year-highs, at around $438 on Friday.

Bitcoin's alleged architect troubled by financial, tax issues

http://www.firstpost.com/fwire/bitcoins-alleged-architect-troubled-by-financial-tax-issues-reuters-2542974.html

Australian Craig Steven Wright is the latest in a line of men alleged to be the mysterious creator of bitcoin, a digital currency that has attracted the interest of banks, speculators, criminals and regulators.

Wired magazine, which along with fellow U.S. publication Gizmodo published a story outing Wright based on a stash of leaked documents and emails, called him a genius.

But interviews with those who have done business with Wright, and a closer inspection of documents published by the two technology websites paint a more complex picture. They point to a smart but sometimes abrasive figure facing growing legal and financial problems at least in part caused by his involvement with bitcoin.

What is bitcoin? A look at the digital currency

http://economictimes.indiatimes.com/news/international/business/what-is-bitcoin-a-look-at-the-digital-currency/articleshow/50112809.cms

Q: What's a bitcoin?
A: Bitcoin is an online currency that allows people to make one-to-one transactions, buy goods and services and exchange money across borders without involving banks, credit card issuers or other third parties. As a result, this exotic new form of money has become popular with libertarians as well as tech enthusiasts, speculators _ and criminals. Bitcoins are basically lines of computer code that are digitally signed each time they travel from one owner to the next.

Q: So why is bitcoin in the news again?
A: Technology publications Wired and Gizmodo published reports this week claiming an Australian businessman is bitcoin's likely inventor. The Australian Federal Police said the search Wednesday was related to a tax investigation and not recent media reports on bitcoin.

Btc address = 1A7RdYVo6rVmPXLHeeHqnTym7otCNmCDPb

The interest seems to be a bit on the lower side for a 1 month loan.
People might be interested if you increase it a bit.

I have had the same issue.
If your transactions are high priority, but the transaction fee = 0, what happens?
Sometimes it gets confirmed immediately, sometimes it takes hours...
854  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin in India? Not for a LOOOOONG time. on: December 12, 2015, 12:34:13 AM
There sure do seem to be what look like warring factions in India re Bitcoin.  Some of what I saw (first-time visitor, and as a tourist) made me think that they might have a shot at superpower-dome...

But, cracking down on future-oriented technologies is not wise.

And, yes, I know that India has always been very bad re bureaucracies.  That will hurt them.  Slow them down.

Warring factions in India?
What exactly are you referring to in relation to Bitcoin?
855  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: December 12, 2015, 12:29:43 AM
Australia is in full control of the match against the Windies now.
GG Windies.

West Indies were sunk as soon as Australia made that huge first innings score.
Now with a massive deficit and following on, there is no hope.

If you're transferring small amounts its fine, no one will care. I personally have made some payments like this, especially to buy gifts to be sent to someone abroad.

Bitcoin isn't very useful on a large scale.

INR 6172 Cr = USD 1 Bn = 15% of Bitcoin's current market cap (it would have been a much higher percentage a few months back)

Why Bitcoin's founder matters, as spotlight hits Australian

http://www.thehindu.com/business/why-bitcoins-founder-matters-as-spotlight-hits-australian/article7969659.ece

Since the founding of the cryptocurrency Bitcoin in 2009, its inventor or inventors have been shrouded in mystery. For six years, the individual or group has lurked behind the pseudonym Satoshi Nakamoto and hoarded a pile of the digital currency, so large it might crash the market if sold today.

The hunt for Bitcoin’s founder has become a cottage industry among some journalists. The chase has veered from a Finnish sociologist to a Japanese mathematician to a Japanese-American engineer, all of whom denied it the latter after a car chase with reporters that ended at the offices of The Associated Press in Los Angeles in March 2014.
