I spoke with Coolblue and they know nothing about this. Huge scam. This will probably get deleted because of the self moderated topic, but I will post this message daily.

We believe in freedom of speech so this message will not get deleted. We are very sorry to hear that you think we are running a scam.

As you might know, Coolblue has over 250 employees in the Benelux so it is very much possible that you've spoken to someone who is unaware of our project. We have contacted Coolblue Belgium (since we are also based in Belgium) through email and phone calls. These conversations were held under the name of the owner, not under the name 'Altcoin Warehouse'. We've explained our visions and our business plan and they were interested in becoming our main supplier. The point is that we can't become their business partner until we are officially registered as an Ltd so there will definately be a partnership after our registration as an Ltd.

Feel free to post more questions if you have them. We try to be as transparent as possible towards our customers, investor and anyone else who is interested in our project.

Funny thing is though, that right after I posted this the link to the coins source verification is deleted. Under which there where comments similar to mine. Also the twitter account that was linked in those comments is 'currently unavailable '

Proof about dealing with coolblue, such as emails, names etc or gtfo

If you are unable to proof your dealings with coolblue because you aren't an ltd yet is nonsense, then you shouldn't have dropped the name in the first place.

Bittrex down?

Try another browser. I couldn't access Bittrex on Firefox, but Chrome worked.

I think it's amazing how all this work has been contained in this thread Smiley This feels totally different from other coins. Just a hardworking dev, a couple of people performing other tasks, and a few enthuasiasts / investors. So far everything is going smoothly.

Wasnt that fun!

That was an edited down sequence of the SIMPLEST teleport. Well at least it was at least an attempt. The problem was that I didnt have a minipod as I am teleporting the smallest unit to myself (loopback test) and this avoids all issues of connecting to another node and hopefully simplifies the test case. It even has a mini-genetic algorithm to find the optimal set of telepods to use for the teleport request, though I am far from having an optimal metric function, at least it should give decent results to give preference to the fewer telepods with the most age.

Anyway, when I teleport to myself, I have to allocate an extra minipod, at least in this scenario. So, just as the teleporter was about to zap the white rabbit across the room, it powers down.

At least I am one step away from finding all the bugs after the telepod gets to the other side.

Just thought you would like to see why I hate debugging. I can code for literally 24+ hours straight, but debugging I usually start to lose focus after just 12 hours. So, now things have to go really well tomorrow to get the rest of the way to complete the teleport, especially as all the partial completion cases need to be dealt with. What to do with half a white rabbit on each side?

James

Somehow this post reminded me of this : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6wn1T_JUJMY Smiley Keep on trucking James, I admire your work.

Sorry for not speaking your language and forgive my noobishness, but if that reddit post is true I might want to reconsider selling Bitcoin for fiat anytime soon?

If I were you, I would reconsider even if it were proven false.

Thanks, yes I am not planning on selling anytime soon, but I just wanted to check with more knowledgable people in this thread if my conclusion after reading that post was right. English is not my first language. Thank you for your reply.

Eurbids, Are you still working on those new features (VoIP, DarkKore, Android, wallet, ...)? If yes maybe you'll give some updates, ETA, roadmap...

.. and it's right.

VoiP Feature is ready at 80%. I'm stuck on the code for find a solution about some problems. I think VoIP can be ready for Half of September (it's summer here now, and soon I going to holidays)

About the anonymous feature, I can start to explain the based idea. I've not tell about it before because I wanted to be sure that I can do it. I've start to work on it with good results.

I've think very much for find a good solution for give a REAL anonymous to the users, and all ideas that I've find around the forum it's only words.
The truth is that you never can hide the transactions because your coins can exists only in two situation... first if you have mined it, two if you have receive it from another user that have received too or have mined it.

If you going to delete/hide the transactions, coins simple don't exist anymore in chain. Of course you can encrypt it and give to the wallet the keys for uncrypt and read it. But if the wallet can uncrypt and read the encrypt TXs, all can do the same, and your anonymous feature going to be unuseless.

Finally I've find a crazy idea.

It's PoB based. PoB means Proof of Burn, is working when people send coins to a special address, this coins going to be destroy, and user take back a block with the same amount plus a interest. Usually PoB working with the same address that have send.

Now my solution. User that want to hide the sources of his coins, simple send coins to special Kore address, select the address where want to receive the new coins, and wait a random number of blocks. After this he going to receive the same coins burned, like he have mined it. New address, generation, no history of this coins, totaly anonymous.

The old coins going to be stored in the special and unspendable address and subtracted from the total coins.

Now interesting to a feedback Smiley

If the VOIP is done 80 %, can you show some screenshots or any other tangible proof of it's existence? I am sure people nowadays won't invest on words alone.

I feel a bit tired today, I think it is time for a rare day off to recharge before the final dash to finish line.

Yes, that feels the right thing. I will be relaxing and probably offline until Monday.

Maybe this will allow the price to come down so I can get some more cheap BTCD Smiley

James

You earned it man, take it easy.

Well... I am glad to be here Wink  Supppp my fellow XC friends.  We are going to have one helluva week  - I can feel it!

Likewise man. Like Phil Collins said: I can feel it coming in the air tonight

I'm seeing a healthy amount of volume for a Saturday. I get the feeling we are slowly but steadily gaining very much warranted market recognition. If you ask me there is new money pouring into XC. If any of you new investors are reading this : Welcome, you made an excellent choice.

was just browsing coinmarketcap.
Interesting to me that the four relatively recently introduced anon coins that are so often grouped together by traders occupy spots numbers 13 through 16 on the list consecutively.  It's as if traders are diversifying among the four and investing in them evenly.  That of course may or may not be true on the level of individual investors/traders. But the market has distributed btc relatively evenly amongst these coins, anyways.

At least up until now......

I noticed the same thing. It is actually smart investing, hedging between coins that (seemingly) offer similar technology. But we know that XC is miles ahead in both legitimacy and technology. That is why I haven't hedged my investment across the various anon offerings, I am 80% in on XC (the other 20 % is used betting on new coins with a low number and less than 200k USD market caps. Any profits on those will be used to buy more XC)

Is it going to be based on XMPP or custom protocols?
What about delays and jitter which would be enormous in multihop P2P and likely leading to unsatisfactory call quality?

I think he knows what he's doing.   Grin

Yep, but that's slightly different thing. Large scale wireless without packet loss is great, but P2P for voice is pretty much different as you deal with peers who could have bad Internet connections, introducing high delays and jitter. It is likely that voice call would be routed via multiple peers for increased security causing delays and jitter multiplication which is killing for real-time apps like voice/video calls.

Totally realistic approach, but then again better have him working on it than some anonymous dev... Team has already announced a lot of exciting collaborations, we can only imagine what might be happening in the background, perhaps if some big player joins this and provides the resources I feel the team can achieve anything, they have already delivered so much. I am desperately trying to trade my way up.

This ^^

Not that mesh network and p2p voice/video calling are the same thing.  But, with his previous experience in the mobile field, I have all the confidence in the world that he knows what he is dealing with and has already thought about the complexity of the problem at hand.

This is not like some unknown dev came out and suddenly announce that they are going to produce a decentralized skype with absolutely no previous background, but at least a dev that has been there before in the field.

+1 many coins have "announced" they will feature voice chat and video chat but they all failed because of incompetent development. That is why XC will reign supreme. Man I am stoked for the future of this coin.

I may have missed it, but are we able to purchase the XC TOR stick next thursday?

It is my understanding that you can download the ISO next Thursday (and create your own TOR stick) The preinstalled physical TOR sticks will be available at a later time.

I am getting a scammy feeling about that drop...

With 600% type gains you're going to see these kinds of corrections aka early profit takers hopefully switching to stronger hands

That's right, I meant that whales are possibly manipulating the price by dumping because they see the potential. Poor choice of words on my part, sorry
