They are never going to do this. The IPL franchises will be against this idea, as they fear that participation of Indian players in foreign leagues would have a negative impact on the IPL viewership. Previously there were suggestions to allow uncapped players in foreign leagues, but it was shelved due to opposition from the BCCI and also from the franchise owners. But now the situation has changed somehow. Most of the foreign T20 franchises are being owned by IPL franchises. For example, Mumbai Indians owns franchises in Major League Cricket (MI New York), SA20 (MI Cape Town) and ILT20 (MI Emirates). Given this, I think that the franchises will water down their opposition in the future.

With BCCI, it is understandable. They are facing an oversupply of talent. There are too many players who deserve an international cap, but the BCCI don't have enough matches available to give opportunities to all of them. I think this is one of the reasons why finally the BCCI agreed to send a team to Asian Games cricket tournament (after refusing to do so in 2010 and 2014). Anyway, a few important tournaments are coming up, including the Asia Cup and ODI World Cup. Hopefully the BCCI will be able to settle their selection woes before that.

India introduced young talent into their T20I team for the West Indies series. Even though they have promising young players, they lost two matches in a row because their batters didn't perform well. However, in the third T20I, they made a strong comeback and now the 5-match series stands at 2-1. Following this victory, India should have enough confidence to level the series 2-2 in the 4th T20I. While, West Indies aren't far from confirming the series, so they will definitely aim to win and make it 3-1.

A decade or two ago, it was extremely rare to have international cricketers playing beyond 37-38 years of age. But now even players who are above 40 years of age are participating in international matches without any issues. I am not just talking about James Anderson, but also about other players such as Imran Tahir and Misbah-ul-Haq. Now players are able to maintain their fitness level for extended durations, despite very heavy workload. To my surprise, India has started badly in this 2nd ODI too and they are two down for only 27 runs. Shubman Gill was caught and bowled by Joseph while Suryakumar Yadav was run out by a direct hit. India needs some good partnerships now to recover from this situation.

Batting was a big concern for India in the first match. Apart from Tilak Varma, none of the other batsmen even got a start.
