841  Economy / Economics / Re: BTC to GOLD on: January 19, 2020, 06:53:45 PM
Probably good to convert some, get the physical gold and keep it somewhere safe.
Hope people don't only convert and collect mere certificates. Holding the real thing and long term storage should matter more, but I wouldn't put too much hope on these things in this current world.
I guess if you don't have the physical gold, you don't have any gold yet
What you choose depends on your purpose for Investing and the level of risks you’re ready to take.  If you’re just looking for a safe haven then gold is the right choice, we all have known that for a long time. Gold is a lot stable than bitcoin, and there isn’t much risks for anyone that is investing in it, compared to Bitcoin. Bitcoin has always been my favorite choice because I’m always not a long term investor and it has been working out for me, the investment is usually on a short term. I have been able to make a lot of money through Bitcoin and now I invest long term without minding if the price would fall or not.
842  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustabit – The original crash game on: January 18, 2020, 05:15:10 PM
Any notable whales betting big on Bustabit lately? I feel like the site hasn't been buzzing quite as much ever since PredictableLegacy deleted his account.

There are more action on Bustadice.com
You can follow daily wagered here https://dicesites.com/bustabit

Daily wagered on Bustadice is way lower than on Bustabit.

I was talking about individual whale action not combined Smiley

Unless you check it yourself with your own eyes, I doubt there is a method or a data that you can check for individual whales. No website like @whalealeart where it shows the big wagers all together, even websites big wagers side is usually not "big" enough for whales, just more than average.

You can follow the website for hours every single day but that doesn't mean you won't miss some whales as well. I suppose that is a thing that is not really kept track of, not like it is a secret, it is public information and you can see it but it is not also shared specifically neither so basically it is in a gray zone of both not being hidden but not also specifically shared, you have to figure it out yourself. Individual whales usually don't parade around their gambles neither as well.
843  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Daily Living on: January 18, 2020, 02:00:31 PM
There are lots of ways you can spend your money through Bitcoin, but I don’t make use of Bitcoin for spending, when I buy it I just keep it mainly in my wallet as an investment till the price goes up. Sometimes I use it for transaction as well. As for how to spend your Bitcoin – you can buy whatever you need from Overstock and pay with Bitcoin, I have seen a few of my friends do that.

Overstock is just like Amazon and there are lots of things to buy from there, though when I checked their site I didn’t really like it, unless they have worked on that. Another one is Purse.io, you can as well use BitPay and pay for gift cards that you can spend on Microsoft Xbox, Uber, Amazon, etc.
844  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Bitcoin will rise as EU cash payments fall on: January 18, 2020, 07:07:14 AM
Some people are really confused in this life. I don’t see anything much with Bitcoin price going, that’s how it’s meant to be. Bitcoin is an asset and the reason we invest in it is because we want to make profit, and how do you plan to make that profit if the price is not increasing? So, saying that EU cash is dead because Bitcoin is increasing is wrong.

I still make use of fiat and that is mainly what I use for payment and not Bitcoin, I have never used Bitcoin to make any purchase except sending money to people I know and work with. So, I’m sorry you’re wrong. Imagine that the price of Bitcoin starts to fall, a lot of people are going to sell it back for their original currency.
845  Economy / Marketplace / Re: What’s Stopping Crypto Markets from Entering the Mainstream on: January 18, 2020, 06:09:55 AM
I think it will not happen in near future, we can't just look from our perspective , first i think more important is digitalisation of money. If we can move the mainstream to e money than we can think of introducing crypto to mainstream and then only i think many government will take initiative to adopt crypto.
Actually, most of the countries have started digitization and also there are platforms developed to start using digital money for payment systems. These kind of platforms are usually linked to your bank accounts and the money is directly been deducted from your bank account any time you make any payment so this makes payment monetary systems easier.

Peoples have started supporting such platforms so we could even expect in the coming future that peoples can shift onto the blockchain networks for payment systems if ever blockchain payments are made that easy and affordable.

There needs to be some changes before crypto markets can really enter the mainstream but it might not be impossible.
846  Economy / Economics / Re: Halving is approacing: HOLD YOUR BITCOINS AND NEVER SELL THEM (118 days left) on: January 17, 2020, 05:51:19 PM
Only 116 days left now and the price looks like it is around $9k now, do you guys think price will get bigger and bigger until the halving? Can we really sustain this type of bull run until the halving day comes? I want to continue investing into bitcoin because I believe in it from the idealist perspective (it is a better investment than fiat ones) but I also do not want to be caught in a bad situation where price goes up and I buy it then price starts to go down as well, I got lucky so far and I have a decent amount of bitcoin in my wallet that I can actually sell and make a profit right now.

So, do I take the profit and leave and wait for it to go down? Or do I keep on getting more of it with the hopes that price would continue to go up? I am very indecisive right now about that, anyone care to share their opinion?
847  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Companies that allow adult ads? on: January 17, 2020, 03:00:05 PM
You could search for some porn sites where you could publish your adult ads where the traffic usually is 21+ aged so there you can easily promote any such advertisement. You can usually not promote adult ads on any platform where they could pay you in bitcoins as the age factor of the traffic matters a lot in terms of adult ads. There are few platforms which are only been accessed by the adults so you could hunt for such platforms.

But, for me I have never went through any such platforms and any such ads because I have least interest in those so I can actually not redirect you to any such platform. But, Internet is our best friend and you can find a number of related things on Internet for you sake of profits.
848  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin might be over but blockchain will live on: January 17, 2020, 02:02:05 PM
I don’t know if Bitcoin will be over someday, but if someone should walk up to me and say it will be over, I will just tell them that it’s a lie. Making use of Bitcoin is by choice and even if you stop to use it, others will continue using it and if the price should drop to $0.01 Bitcoin will still be there and people will be making use of it.

There is no control unit that you can capture and shut down Bitcoin entirely, there is nothing like that, it’s not like other coins that are centralized. Let’s take Libra for an example – if Facebook should create Libra, they can decide to shut it down any day and make it disappear because they are the ones in control, but there is nothing like that for Bitcoin.
849  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Launching a Marketplace - What to lookout for? on: January 16, 2020, 03:04:29 PM
The first thing to look out for, is a proper server configuration and proper security for future clients and what is this marketplace you are talking about ? how does it work ? you need to clearly explain what is this website for and what is your roadmap. ?
If you want it to be successful hire an SEO manager, create campaigns like signature or bounty, in short advertise more and the product. If its useful then investors will come surging to you but if it fails you need to rework it.
Crypto marketplaces are usually getting more beneficial as well as popular so most of the investors would turn themselves towards investing into the such platforms.

Marketing would always play an effective role in running these kind of projects from the start so any individuals who are even thinking to launch such marketplace should first try to think about an effective mean of marketing as there is a whole lot of competition in between the markets and you really need a strong marketing team behind any such platform so that most of the peoples might come to know about your marketplace. Also try to cover as much information as possible in the Initial stage itself so that peoples could bookmark your thread and speculate your marketplace until it is entirely been developed.
850  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top 5 cryptocurrencies to invest in 2020 on: January 16, 2020, 09:11:16 AM
I have already made up my mind that 2020 is the last year I’m giving this a try and hoping for an increase, unless 2020 gives me a reason to continue my Hodl. I have been holding my bitcoins for a really long time in my wallet, and I have only spent a few, people have been saying there is going to be increase but we have all been waiting till now and we haven’t seen any changes, all these were just speculation and nothing more.

I’m just believing the halving will make the price to go up because same thing have happened before, if it’s different this time I would just give up.
851  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good project or Useless projects! on: January 16, 2020, 04:42:39 AM
It is a SHIT project if you ask me and I wouldn't bother about it. If you are so determined to invest in crypto then go for the top ten coins on coinmarketcap or seek out token sales like the one in my signature
There are a number of tokens which might be beneficial to invest but yet the risk remains same as it is in investing the coin OP is insisting upon. Most beneficial and without risk investment would be to pour most of our capital on the most higher ranked coins from the CMC market as those coins already have higher trading volume which would never be manipulated and we could see good price variations in between the graphs which opens the door for good entry and exit points.

This really makes one of the most profitable investment without any greater risk. Also investing in tokens has a higher risk percentage as those tokens might too get dumped or even they might be converted into shit coins soon.
852  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Blockchain and crypto books for crypto on: January 16, 2020, 04:07:04 AM
If you're interested in investing in Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies you should check out one of these books:
https://coincodex.com/article/5940/top-5-books-every-crypto-investor-should-read/
There actually are a number of books if you want to start investing in the cryptocurrencies but what I think is that investing in cryptocurrencies by just reading these books can be fatal. Cryptocurrencies are actually a digital currency and their value keeps on changing with time.

Each investor who invest in the cryptocurrencies should always be updated to the markets and books can not actually keep you updated as it is not possible for you to reach each new book each week just to stay updated. In this case, online blogs, or social media platforms turns out to be beneficial as they deeply give you latest updated news about the ongoing processes in cryptocurrencies.
853  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Is there anyway to buy alcohol online with bitcoin? on: January 16, 2020, 03:10:26 AM
Alcohol is something which can rarely be related to online e-commerce because a number of places have banned alcohol and it might be something which might affect buying alcohol online. Yet, I can see a number of platforms where we can buy wine, beers, vodka, etc online but I rarely went through platforms accepting bitcoins to buy alcohol online.

Recently I went across a project named Milae vodka and it is actually a Premium vodka brand in most stylish hand crafted moon like structure bottles. You can surely buy their vodka on their platform but I think that they have not yet started the online sale for the same because they are yet in their development phrase.
854  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin becoming a safehaven currency in Argentina on: January 16, 2020, 01:03:32 AM
That’s great Cheesy there are lots of places that are totally different and where people are showing no interest in Bitcoin, but the Argentines are strongly adopting it. Where I live is a completely different case because everyone is afraid of to make use of Bitcoin except some the techies, just like me.

Though I’m happy that cryptocurrency adoption has been growing a bit in my country, and now I do find people living in the same country that are interested in cryptocurrency, though it’s mainly online that I see them, but I’m still happy because it’s unlike before when I hardly see anyone.
855  Economy / Gambling / Re: ♨️🎲 WINDICE.io 🎲 0.2 BTC Wagering Contest 🔰 Progressive Faucet💰 Jackpots 🎁❤ on: January 15, 2020, 04:54:00 PM
Reality is they can do whatever type of marketing they want and we can do nothing about it. A) because they don't care about us anyway and never been really interested in this topic except maybe sharing "look we reached another 10 million" and "we have another contest" or "this is who won the contest", they haven't done anything else in this topic and never responded to anyone so basically they don't give a damn, talking about what they should do on marketing won't change anything, B) because they see the data they get and we don't, maybe they are doing something amazing with just competition and they like it, maybe all other stuff didn't brought that much traffic, as long as we don't get the data we can't really make a decision at all and just make assumptions.

857  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: STOP BUYING BITCOIN NOW!!! This coin is crap on: December 23, 2019, 04:44:27 PM
Hey OP, if you don't want to buy Bitcoin any longer then it's your choice ,that won't make others to stop buying it, there are lots of people who will continue buying it and everyday lots of people keeps getting in.

Moreover FYI, what you have said here is wrong, of course I have heard about the 51% attack or whatever they call it, but that's not enough reason for me to quit. People keep on imagining things that are never even going to happen. A lot of people come up with these as a way to discourage others from taking part in buying Bitcoin.
858  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Truly Random is Random on: December 11, 2019, 06:52:23 PM
My guess is all or most of the factors responsible for the distribution have to be known and understood else it's considered random distribution.
I believe nothing is really random. We humans are limited in our understanding of what creates the so called randomness, so we use the word random.
There are probably unknown reasons why the points at the right are distributed that way. You can easily understand why if you have sufficient understanding of how it's generated

The pattern has been applied on most casino distributed lucky picks, and I guess analysis couldn't be relied with it. You must understand that having random chances depends on how the computer generated a lucky choices, and human isn't capable to do it in his own. Indeed, limitations follows so we can't further instigate most probable move towards guessing the possible outcome.
Well, it's quite a interesting thread first of all and nice comparison and theory.

I think if you ask me randomness depends on the method being used, I mean if humans are randomly asked to pick numbers from 1 to 100 you will notice the the majority of the numbers will be between 30-80 because we tend to choose mid numbers while if you pick numbers generated by some script that is computerized then I believe it will be almost even for all the numbers.
859  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: WILL CRYPTO BOOM AGAIN? on: December 11, 2019, 03:50:37 PM
In fact, 2017 a lot of investors became millionaires in just a few months so I sure in 2020 the uptrend will return again and you should choose this time to hold some coins.
No one can ensure that it will happen, let's just remain optimistic that finally after 2 years of being patiently waiting, the real bull run will come.
At that time, again, there is no assurance that our altcoins that we are holding now will grow and recover because there is a significant increase of altcoins int the market already and yet they can't beat the dominance of bitcoin, so let's see what would happen that time.
While none can ensure that the price will bloom or boom again but everyone knows what happens when you sell your bitcoins for cheap amount.

You forgot? I will remind you - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=137.0

That's the legendary thread we have because someone traded chunks of bitcoins for the taste buds and it does not feel good for anyone trust me when they will look back. There were investors who purchased at $5-10 per BTC and cashed happily at $100 but will they be happy today?

In simple words, just hold what you can and sell what you need to manage your wallets and needs.
860  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Top 5 Ways to Earn Crypto While You Sleep on: December 11, 2019, 03:11:40 PM
Bot trading can be a really good option, agreed!
I haven't been good at using bots for trading but if someone can share an article where I can find more details as of how these bot works, then that would be great.

I have always wondered what bots will actually do because we can always make buy and sell orders ourselves and bot yes will not make mistake but surely there is no bot that can challenge the human brain. So why exactly bots are used, remains a bit of mystery for me. Maybe because bots are accurate and eliminate human errors and put speed and efficiency back into trading but I guess there are more reasons why bots are so famous.
