How long you should have to wait is depends on when did you buy the coin. If you bought the coin when the price is low, i guess you don't need long time to sell it later. Therefore, i suggest we better to buy the coin when it is on the bottom, like the current situation. |

At present, the market is very bad. Many have given up the game. For me, I think this is a chance.
October 2017, I step into this market. A friend introduced me some mlm investment models such as: REC, HXT, BTE ... etc. I invested some money I had and started delusions. But for a short time, I lost everything. Too greedy and uninformed is perhaps one of the darkest in this market.
I started learning more about cryptography and realized many things. I have invested in some ico and the results are much better. In early 2018, the market fell, I began to lose control of his money. The more holes you buy. At the time I did not know what to do to live, I started earning bonuses and pilots. I do a lot but worse than I get. 3 4 months not received money. But I'm not depressed. Just make money, I invest. Combining these two tasks made me do more, read and understand more. My knowledge is not as bad as it used to be. Well yes, crypto is giving us the opportunity to spending our money for profit. But unfortunately there are some peoples who want use crypto to steal money from others. We all know that the situation with market is not that good as we want it to be. Thus it affects a lot of ICO projects. On the one hand people don't invest in coin so much money as they did last year. On the other bounty hunters sell tokens fast and the price goes very low. That is why some projects prefer list their token on Idex first. They want to see how a coin plays on market.
And what investors should do in such situation? Sell all they have for small money or wait until a token will go up?
I'm asking as a person working in such project. After ICO token price went down (KCY, I'm sure you heard of it). And It is interesting to know investor's opinion about such situation.
What is your idea?
I usually look at the token company first. If there are something wrong in the company, the falling price will be the sign to leave the project. But if there are nothing wrong, then it has possibility some peoples trying to manipulates the token price in the market. Just look whats going on the project, then you can decide to sell it or hold it. |

as per governments view, they never accept decentralized bitcoin. the major reason is they unable to track the sender and receiver. smuggling and black money can send anywhere without third party knowledge.
so do you all think bitcoin can be centralized ? can be do ?
But that is the purpose of creating cryptocurrency, an encrypted currency, so anyone who want to decrypt, will need to provide the key. If centralized, some peoples can know your balance or transactions if they manage the database. Cryptocurrency is not illegal just because peoples coins cannot be traced. |

How can the government discover I own BTC, let's say I'm from Venezuela where crypto is banned, what they can do to discover and arrest me?
Impossible, even they know the address, they cannot know unless you have some proof that you are the owner of that bitcoin address. Thats why some exchanges required to submit your KYC when you want to withdraw more than a certain amount per day, so they know who you are. |

Actually what Krugman said is true, the biggest problem in bitcoin is the transaction fees.
If the fee of bitcoin can be reduced than currently, many peoples won't afraid to lose their money when using it as a daily currency.

Some peoples said ETH price going down because many company sold their collected ETH from crowdsale. The continuous decline in Bitcoin prices may make investors very nervous and many people have lost confidence in Bitcoin as well as crypto.
This is a very normal psychology and nothing strange in life, in any field, there are two emotional state is governed by FEAR and GREED.
Especially in the financial market, not just the crypto market, when prices are rising, people often feel GREED, focusing only on positive trends and never thinking about trends. Negative, when the price goes down, then the person feels FEAR, then focus only on the negative trend and never thought that everything would be positive again.

This is what often happens in the cryptocurrency market.
Sometimes you just see the price of the entire market going dip as a result of statement made by one influential person. Such persons are agents of FUD and yet you continue to reverend them because of their past or current achievements. They scare you to sell cheap to them, and later, they reverse their statement through someone else probably their cohorts, then the prices start to skyrocket again, then you start playing catch up to buy again even at prices far above what you sold to them. And the process goes on, starts all over again.
My friend! wise up and stop allowing someone to switch you off and on. You are not a toy robot.
Learn to stand your ground amid such manipulations or low market prices.
Agree mate. In this current market price, i cannot think of others reason of the market beside the price is being manipulated here. Better to hold your coins than to regret it later because you sold it, because i have done that before. Experience is the best teacher i guess. |

I got into the bitcoin again last year after losing all my 4.5 bitcoins to ponzi schemes early last year. I bought in bitcoin again at $20k. Now bitcoin is $6k+. I'm regretting my actions.  I guess you were unlucky and not the only one who bought cryptocurrency coin when it hit the peak price in dec 2017. Whether you regretting your action or not, i think it is no use to do that. What you can do is now buying more coins to average down your loss later if the market price getting recovered. |

The high rate of worthless coins are now at alarming rate as we have experience a very difficult time in distinguishing between Good coins and shit coins. Getting into Campaigns with the aims of getting a good coin for the future, all we can get is some worthless coins into the wallet. Those worthless coins or as i called them valueless Altcoins. What will you do to your worthless Altcoins in your wallet? ? If you have some altcoins that have a little value or not at all, just don't sell it yet because selling it now won't bring you any profit. Take your time to analyze the development of the project of the coin first before doing anything. When the project seems doing good, what you need to do is just hold that coin, other than that, you can sell your coin. |

Since Bitcoin holding in good position but alt coins are bleeding everyday. It's look all alt coins become shit coins. I will not surprised if alt coin price become below ICO price. Lol. I was wrong that alt coins holding more profits from Bitcoin. I have more than 50% loss on alt coins. Although I am not going to sale in loss even I have to hold more than years. But I don't think so market will recover soon. There is too much negetive news about crypto currency. And it's already effects on alt coins.
However current situation but I think this is good time to invest on crypto currency. But invest only whatever you can afford loss.

Actually it is very safe because no one can have the exact address of your bitcoin wallet and all cryptocurrency works like that.
If you own a bitcoin address and send it 1 btc, just leave it for years. I believe the btc will still remain there.
The problem is, when you using key of the wallet to do a transaction, your wallet will be exposed if your key exposed.

I've been monitoring the market for a couple of months now. Most of the coin value rely on the price of Bitcoin. If the BTC price goes up, every altcoins will follow and if it will goes down, the price of every altcoins will goes down as well. But the question is, Bitcoin price/value is still going up but the price/value of every altcoins especially Ethereum goes down. How did this happen? Any logical or scientific basis to explain this. As of now, I am still confuse. The altcoins price not really depends on bitcoin. When the ETH price dropping great, btc price is still above $6000. i think the most plausible explanation is, because many holders change their portfolio from altcoins to bitcoin. There is a high possibility that they sold their altcoins to buy more bitcoin. |
