841  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's your favorite? [ XEM or NXT ] on: April 23, 2015, 02:53:19 AM
Change title of thread to "what bag are you holding?" maybe better?
842  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are we in a bull market? on: April 23, 2015, 01:48:03 AM
Not bullmarket. Looks like rock bottom and some low cap shitcoins already bounced off the rockbottom due to people who saw exactly that.

Accumulating shitcoins now!!!
843  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [POLL] Does EVAN DUFFIELD regret instamining DRK/DASH at 100x emission? on: April 23, 2015, 01:46:02 AM
Would you "regret" making a few million dollars in an afternoon by pressing some buttons on a keyboard while holding your dick in your left hand? I doubt it.
844  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litcoin at $1.42 on: April 23, 2015, 01:40:55 AM
23 April litcoin reaches the price of $1.42 most of the users are saying it os dead but I wont consider it is dead till it reaches 10 cents.
The Litecoin Dev team and LA dev team have got some
pretty cool things coming up soon.
what do you guys say?

The very second it starts making obscene profits again and everyone owns some, everyone will have forgotten all the talk of last week.
"Litecoin is dead" says the one who hasn't closed his short position.
845  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][AUR] Auroracoin - a cryptocurrency for Iceland on: April 22, 2015, 09:56:53 PM
Oh sweet, balduro now owns 85% instead of 93% of the coins. Great! Must pump on these news!!!
846  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [007] Stealth Addresses. C-Cex ICO. Ninja Launch. on: April 22, 2015, 07:17:30 PM

How many coins total? In the ann I saw PW, POS, 700,000 for the ICO and then a post that said dev has no coins... WTF is going on here lol

The 700,000 were supposedly sold on C-cex within an hour of being listed, but it's more likely that dev snatched up the vast majority to create the illusion of interest.

I see, finally people catch on what's really going on with these presales. Good on you. Keep paying attention.
847  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [KOBO] Kobocoin - A West African peer to peer micropayment system on: April 22, 2015, 04:11:02 PM
Can't buy Kobocoin, have still zetacoin.
848  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bearish TA on: April 09, 2015, 01:44:21 AM
Fair, but you didnt count in, that many investors are hodlers (and I am not even counting Satoshi), efectivelly several millions of coins are out of the market. Either in storage or lost. Also ecosystem isnt stagnant, but still slowly growing. My point is, that just keeping current value of Btc might be much cheaper, than you suggest.

Btw.: Good TA  Grin perfectly possible.

The holding that is going on isn't so important compared to the additional supply of coins that keeps coming to market through mining every day imo. Coins being held and not traded don't affect the market. It's good people hold their coins BUT 3600 new coins are created each and every day for some more time. These need to be absorbed regularly at marketprice.
849  Economy / Speculation / Re: One thing I don't understand about pump and dump ... on: April 09, 2015, 01:40:08 AM
It's not panning out like this anymore. Pumps go wrong. Too many experienced people now.
850  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bearish TA on: April 09, 2015, 01:33:41 AM
So in your opinion double digits are possible and bear market will continue for another 3+ months? Not impossible, just unlikely. Final flash crash and recovery to atleast current levels seems more like bitcoin.

I'm undecided on the future but i thought this idea was interesting. I would not be surprised to find BTC in the 100$-range just because of the costs of running it are so high

3600 (coins) times 245 (dollar) times 365 days = 321 MILLION USD need to be spent on bitcoin in the next year for it to hold this current marketcap.
I am not sure if it can attract another 321 million after what we have seen lately and how it is looking right now. Downward pressure is quite high on this inflation-coin.

I'd be happy if we could enter some stagnation now until halving. I don't think a big bullrun is likely this year for this particular coin.
851  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if YOU could put 1 feature, change, whatever, into the Bitcoin protocol? on: April 09, 2015, 01:26:16 AM
I'd reduce rewards and replace halvings with smother reduction of rewards. I would also make it multialgo and implement KGW just in case.

i thought this idea was worth sharing
853  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much is the Bitcoin Foundation worth ? on: April 08, 2015, 07:05:34 PM
http://cointelegraph.com/news/113873/bitcoin-foundation-is-effectively-bankrupt

they are bankrupt supposedly so what value would be left in this psudo company?

id suggest being able to come up with 6 months salary for all the board members

would be about the maximum buyout value if not 6 weeks

I'll buy the foundation for 5 Litecoin. I think i could be getting the deal because this bid is very generous already!
854  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoins lack of interest, lack of traction on: April 08, 2015, 06:54:54 PM
why no interest? I tell you why: because the inflation. These suckers screwed it up. No profit = no interest. Period. People aren't interested in shit where they can't make money. Now we need a solid bullmarket to start without additional interest from the wider public. How will that happen?! It won't.

I have a theory: satoshi subconciously was afraid of his own invention and designed it so it won't take off too hard and cause too much disruption. He was afraid of the potential so he decided to make it more inflationary than needed to be to make sure it won't bring too much chaos to the world.

I think mad pumping doge or similar coins or something nice instead of old bitcoin could make sense for some whales. Bitcoin has faults in the design. Too much supply for many more years.
855  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin halving on: April 08, 2015, 06:49:28 PM
With Bitcoin halving soon does that mean the price of Bitcoin has to double or is mining just going to stop. Another thought is mining is going to get more efficient. What are some of your thoughts on this matter?

either price doubles or hashrate declines - or price goes up a little and hash goes down a little (what i think will happen).

Litecoin will halve in a few months btw. Far earlier than btc.
856  Economy / Speculation / Re: panic kicking in, sub 200 by friday on: April 08, 2015, 06:48:31 PM
Panic at this low level is good. We need double digits or even single digits for a new bullrun back to 500$ or so before we can finally put it to rest. It's not entirely dead yet. Show must go on ...
857  Economy / Speculation / Re: How hard will you try to sell your bags now? on: April 08, 2015, 06:39:13 PM

It's obviously that bitcoin is dropping back to it's start point with dead cat bounces and fake recovers and lower higher but how hard will you try to sell your bags now?

Level 1: Cheat some internet kids to buy bitcoin (your bags) in twitter, reddit, bitcointalk forum etc
Level 2: Cheat your friends, family members, business partners to buy bitcoin
Level 3: Cheat your close friend, bro and sis to buy bitcoin etc
Level 4: Cheat yourself with a rich dream to keep buying with monthly job paid

World Bank Report: Bitcoin is a 'Naturally Occurring' Ponzi

Oh well, just short it all the way to single digits and end up with a larger bag. Buy some alts too and chill out ...
858  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][AUR] Auroracoin - a cryptocurrency for Iceland on: April 08, 2015, 06:37:14 PM
is this scam still not dead?
859  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LXC][LIBREXCOIN]STAKING MOBILE WALLETS|MULTIPOOL|100% POS|BLOCKNET| on: April 08, 2015, 06:35:10 PM
The nazis should have won the WW2 because of the high tech that they made and e.t.c  - This coin will succeed at all costs !!!! the people must believe !!!
What does this abandoned coin have? POS mobile wallet that looked and worked like shit, needs more than send receive and stake, appearance is everything..... Why do I want this wallet and coin instead of BTC. The answer is I can use btc, this coin is useless now.

go pump your old "Bitcoin" somewhere else...
860  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is petmast3r = utopianfuture ? on: April 07, 2015, 03:22:22 PM

Hahaha, this is brilliant!

PS: But not true, of course.
