843  Economy / Speculation / Re: Whats with the volume on mtgox today.. on: April 09, 2012, 09:28:53 PM
On average we get a large volume spike on gox about once a week.

Last spike was 3 weeks ago.

C++ is my language, but I have done a fair bit of JS.

Hard to give a quote, without deeper knowledge of the problem, but I will start the ball rolling @ 50btc

According to http://blockchain.info/charts/miners-operating-profit-margin miners are around %24 profitable.

So thats a break even at around 38btc reward per block.

This is at current difficulty.

Our cows in the UK eat magic mushrooms, they get very frisky in early autumn.

854  Other / Off-topic / Re: Poll: Your opinion on miners on: April 02, 2012, 05:41:26 PM
I don't think you will find anyone who doesn't like miners, they are vital.
855  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Intersango.com now process UK deposits every hour on: April 02, 2012, 04:56:48 PM
I tried to setup online banking but it failed, said my details where wrong. I double checked my details and they where fine. I guess I'm going to have to email my bank.

Is it safe to still use the Lloyds method?

858  Economy / Speculation / Re: Up or Down? Poll. on: April 02, 2012, 04:13:27 PM
The market is uneasy about crossing the $5 threshold, but once it does we will be going up.
859  Economy / Speculation / Re: $5.2 today?! on: April 02, 2012, 04:09:45 PM

In the UK there has been several attempts to decriminalize cannabis. Unfortunately the fear mongering press always responds with the mother of a dead kid on it front page. Its hard to argue with a dead kids mother and it is then criminalized again. Even if the link between the dead kid and cannabis is a tenuous one.
