841  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 20, 2023, 11:09:59 PM

Jason Moloney was 29 years of age when he fought Naoya Inoue, which is 27 years old at that time. Not that gap in age and both are young guns and in their prime but their fight is not even a close fight as Moloney wasn't even able to give Inoue a problem and the fight result in a landslide TKO win by Inoue. An easy win by Inoue.

Nonito Donaire Jr. was 36 years old when he first fought Naoya Inoue, which is 26 years old at that time. 10 years gap and Donaire was at a veteran age already but able to give Inoue the most difficult challenge in his entire boxing career. Inoue suffers a cut above his right eye and that was the first time he received a cut. But since much younger with lots of stamina to be used in the entire fight, Inoue patiently waits for his rhythm to come back while suffering pain and is able to regain his strength and won that fight.

What I'm saying here is, if Moloney can't keep up with an opponent just the same as his age, while the old Donaire able to put the strongest bantamweight boxer in almost a defeat, I don't think that Moloney even at 32 years old will able to beat Donaire at 40 years old.

Age does matter? Not for this fight, I believed.

I try to avoid these type of games as you'll often encounter very good player which only focuses on one game like Pool. I tried playing on a local Pool near me for fun and included some bets on it, but I was obliterated by their experience and skills.

And because skills are necessary as every player is competitive, just imagine the difficulty to win especially in a tournament.

Regardless of how much is the prize pool, expect professional players that will join the tournament. Even though we are skilled and good at that game, there's always a player that is higher beyond our skills, and that makes the competition not balanced.

That ends up with some gamblers just staying on the usual casino games and won't bother to join PVP games even though they know and are skilled in how to play the game. Better not messed up with the pros and increase the risks of losing.
843  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Advice on choosing a crypto casino on: January 20, 2023, 10:44:51 PM
I think that if OP is looking for a crypto-casino, he should start with the basics of cryptocurrencies, and then move on to choosing a casino. There is a lot of information on this forum regarding cryptocurrencies, wallets, commissions, security, and casino selection. Don't be lazy to read reviews from respected users of this forum and use search engine. After all, many questions are asked on this forum more than once.

Based on his statement or how I understand it, seems OP already knows some basics of cryptocurrency. It's just that OP is new to crypto-gambling that's why still in the learning process. I'm sure OP is already familiar with online gambling in general but maybe only on fiat online. There's confusion referring to payment systems as OP might be used only to handle fiat transfers to casinos. Here in crypto, maybe he thought that a specific wallet should be used and necessary.

For OP to learn and be familiar with how crypto-payment or transfers works in crypto-casino, the actual touch in the crypto-gambling site's interface is necessary. Instructions and advice won't be effective if OP won't try it live. Let's wait for the feedback if he's still returning here.
844  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue - WBC and WBO 122 lbs bout - May on: January 20, 2023, 10:29:52 PM
I watched some clips and highlights of Stephen Fulton's previous fights and all I can say is;

"There's still time for him to think twice to withdraw from the fight against Naoya Inoue" Grin

Not degrading the champion here but Inoue will surely beat the champion Fulton here. How can Fulton even able to keep up with Inoue's insane speed while throwing strong punches at the same time? If Inoue will able to crash the defense of Fulton, say hello now to his deadly body blow, and for sure Fulton will feel that pain for the first time in his career.

so that means that if ever the next conferences will allow a guest team then it's more likely that this Australian team will take the slot but, it would be greater if two slots for guest teams will be.

Not possible for the next conference as the Governor's Cup will now commence on Sunday and that's the last conference this season. Probably next season and I hope that not just one, but two foreign teams as guest teams will be considered by the league.

There's a problem though. If you guys remember, Kume Marcial stated that they are struggling to fix the schedule when involving a guest team since these teams also follow their respective timeline that involves other league events. Even without a guest team, PBA is doing some adjustments to the local teams' schedule whenever there is an international event. More difficult if there's a guest team.

But that statement by Marcial was when Dragons is still new to the PBA that's why it's understandable that they are just in the observation phase. Since the Commissioners Cup now ended and it's a success, that should serve as a good experience for the league and they should consider continuing to involve foreign teams in the PBA if possible.

Might be best for now to forget about the Crawford-Spence fight because the chances of happening the said bout is getting slimmer and slimmer as months and days goes by. Spence and Al Haymon is getting very unpredictable these days, all silent about their move and stuff and boom, the whole world is suddenly surprised because they made another circus in the industry with of course the blessing of the corrupt governing bodies.

When the first negotiation failed last year between Spence and Crawford's camp, should be right at that time when boxing fans should now forget it. The negotiation that happened last year was almost a done deal and the majority is now expecting an official announcement but at the last minute, it was announced failed instead due to some reason that is not being disclosed to the public.

Let's accept the fact now that Spence won't meet Crawford because there are lots of obstacles that are ruining the plan. Crawford just needs to move forward and win his future fights but since being not under any big promoters, he will likely just face a cherry-picked opponent as it's tough for his camp to secure a big fight without the involvement of a big promoter and that's the reality in boxing nowadays.

Is PvP gaming a thing?
Is it fun to compete against strangers for money? Does it provide the same level of comfort and convenience as casino games?

PVP gaming or PVP type of gambling is just a usual gambling type you encounter in the gambling world.

Is it fun? Obviously, the answer will vary for a person that "likes" it or "dislike" it. We all have our own preferences in the first place.

If you are familiar with the PvP gambling topic, which of the following would you pick if you had $10–$100 and felt like gambling?

1. Casino A:
Normal casino where players play Slot games, BlackJack, Rollet, baccarat, Crazy, and the rest of casino games with the chance of winning large chunk of money.

2. Casino B:
PvP casino where players compete against each others in games such as Poker, Rummy, Ludo, 8Pool, Monopoly, Race Cars, Flipcoin, etc..., with the prize being your opponents buy-in amounts.

With that amount, I don't want to bother with skill-based games at those mentioned games where I'm not sure if all users in the room are legit players.

I will go all-in in playing slots and hope that luck will come to my side. No hassle, just tap that spin button.
848  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It's a good idea to just register on casino on: January 20, 2023, 09:46:53 PM
There is this thing about shopping and airlines that when you check and forget, they send you bonus or discount for your possible shopping/trip. Same holds true for casinos, if you just register and leave they will send you some bonus to get you started playing.

For sure, it's not free money and there's a wagering or turnover requirement before you can able to withdraw your winnings.

But I think dormant accounts might be subject to account termination if didn't log in within a given period of time that is allowed by the gambling site.

Regardless, that is something not interesting to me. If you will just come back playing on that site once a bonus is offered, that's not worth it based on my own view. Better found a gambling site that has a good VIP program and is active there as all the amount wagered is counted as progress to the next level.
849  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambler Loses 1.4 million USD in a bet with lower than 1.01 odds! on: January 19, 2023, 12:39:50 AM
I can't believe there are really bettors who are brave enough to put and risk that kind of huge amount thinking 1.01 odds is a sure win.

And the winning amount if the bettor won it? $14,000. Not worth risking a crazy $1,400,000 for that amount of winning.

It's hard to move on from that experience knowing 1.01 odds is almost a sure win. To also feel the profits betting on such low odds, a mandatory and necessary high stake is needed and that's where it becomes riskier.
850  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 10 Biggest U.S Lottery Jackpots Ever...(Until Now) on: January 19, 2023, 12:33:19 AM
This feels just wrong. And i can't find a single reason for this. Let the winner at least buy security before calling them out.

Yes, there should be at least a winner protection program or some sort.

But it's clearly stated that Wisconsin has now laws regarding that therefore, all bettors here are supposed to know already and understand what they are up to once they won. They are not even forced to bet in the lottery in the first place.

Actually, if that's my case, I'd rather strongly hope first that luck will hit me as to how to claim the money, at least, in private, can think about later on.
851  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Advice on choosing a crypto casino on: January 19, 2023, 12:18:52 AM
KYC policies ? This is a new term for me. Where can I read more about it?

To better understand anything about KYC, you should be able to read it under the Terms and Conditions of any gambling site.

Since ToS is a long read and full of context, key in your keyboard, Ctrl + F or Find, or something that will lead you into searching some text on a webpage and type the keyword KYC, Know-Your-Customer, Verification, and those words that might be related to KYC.

Not that most crypto casinos nowadays are asking for a mandatory KYC but you need to learn the terms about it on the site you will choose to play with.
852  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Minimum deposit and minimum withdrawal. on: January 19, 2023, 12:14:28 AM
So if a casino accepts lower amounts they might see more gamblers from different countries who have less to spend and accrue more earnings that way.

Most casinos I believed do have a lower minimum deposit amount and users should have no problem dealing with it.

The question is, what range of amount is considered as a low amount? $5? $2? $1?

If these people will just deposit that kind of amount, better just try their luck, not on online casinos. The casino shouldn't adjust for anything regarding the minimum deposit amount if the set amount is kind of fair already. Again, as far as local fiat casinos are concerned, especially here, the average minimum deposit amount I'm seeing is around $3 to $4.

most crypto casinos that i've seen here has about $5 of min deposit, otherwise, check the ToS of the site and look for the min deposit/withdrawal section. because if you happen to deposit below their min deposit, it won't be credited or worse they will just collect the money.

Therefore, users have to deal with the minimum deposit set by the site and don't ask for a much lower amount.

They are the ones who need to adjust if they really want to gamble with that small amount.

Actually, it's not the minimum deposit amount they should be worried about but to expect some casino games to allow lower bet amounts.
853  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How real is the winnings? on: January 18, 2023, 11:59:04 PM

It is without a shock these days that when one downloads apps to explore, like game apps; features or tasks that can earn one some coins or diamonds, or candy come with real earning prospect. If one could successful convert such earns from these games or other apps, these monies could be used to get gift cards or could be withdrawn in some instances.

Is it okay for one to just go ahead and tryout any or all of these apps with their crypto coins or cash not minding scammers or hackers or exposing oneself to information theft?
For most cases where the earnings cannot be converted, but purchases could be made with bank cards, to fund them, what is best adviced?
How real are some of these winnings/earnings, incase anyone has had luck cashing their gaming/other apps wins to real cash/gift item?

I can't generalize those apps but sometimes there are really paying and there's just a pure bunch of craps.

How to determine if those apps are paying? No other options but to research deeply on that specific game and find some reviews. Just be careful as sometimes, reviews are not generic, and maybe good reviews are for cover-up only to make the app goods look.

Another option is to play those apps in actual and see if your effort and patience can keep up.

Meanwhile, have read a news article that Donaire and Moloney will slug it out for the WBC belt vacated by Inoue. This is good news for us fans of Donaire as we all know that he still have some tricks to do the job even if he is 40 years old.
It's still floating.

But if it's guaranteed and official then Donaire will just have to prove himself that age doesn't matter and he's still a great guy to box with. He'll take back what's taken from him.

And I think that he's going to have more intense training and will be more pursued to win this match after his loss against Inoue who will just leave his rank and division.

Floating but confirmed official since the conditions were unlocked which is Naoya Inoue moving up a weight.

I believed Donaire should be able to handle Moloney as the former already experienced a difficult fight in his career, which is facing Inoue.

Remember that Donaire is the first one to put Inoue on a verge of losing that's why I'm sure he can handle other boxers in the bantamweight now that Inoue is out of sight and no more tough opponent is left in that division for him.
855  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: January 18, 2023, 11:58:44 PM
A couple of televised games on ESPN tonight. The first one is between the Hawks and Mavericks. Not too exciting but at least there’s Luka and Trae.

Speaking of the Dallas Mavericks, Luka Doncic is reportedly pushing the Mavericks to be active in the trade market before the trade deadline.

He badly wants an upgrade and that's no secret even to the community.

Mavericks are not that really good at getting a good role player in the market. They are just trusting the process. And as I noticed, they are just always active in doing trades, not before the trading deadline but in the off-season. Let's see the action of Mark Cuban here and the whole Mavericks to Doncic's request.
856  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Errol Spence vs Keith Thurman on: January 18, 2023, 11:55:43 PM
This is the first time I think that kind of boxing match is set up. Keith Thurman even participated in that without even questioning some terms of that fight. Maybe just money before a sweet retirement. I'm sure this was even set up for Spence to win the fight.

Now that Spence is now fighting in the environment in the 154, I hope he will meet soon some good contenders here.

Just curious here, why other top names in boxing don't have any feedback or statements regarding that fight?
857  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: January 18, 2023, 11:52:54 PM
Lol. What the hell is happening with SMB management even Terrence Romeo is included in the trade rumors. I'd rather change the Coach than trade these key players. If this will happen, I'm not surprised if Fajardo will be traded as well after a few more years without getting a championship. They even traded Cabagnot and Arwind Santos before, so they will do the same. As usual, trades will always be approved, under the table?

Alex Cabagnot and Arwind aren't in the same league and status as June Mar Fajardo in terms of being San Miguel Beermen. The Kraken is in no way will be traded even at his post-prime performance since he's already a Franchise Player and the achievement he brings to the SMB are all spectacular.

Romeo is not even an original Beermen and is now injury-prone therefore, he's always possible to be put on the team's trading list.

About changing the coach, although others are in favor of that for a long time already, sorry but Coach Leo Austria does have something magical stuff on him why he remains as their coach. Cheesy
858  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Errol Spence vs Keith Thurman on: January 16, 2023, 11:59:52 PM
Yes, for us it's not really fair to see this fight at 154 lbs and without any belt of Spence in line for the Thurman. But since they are in the same stable and control by Haymon, Thurman can't do anything about it. What the boss says will take into effect and it seems that the body is willing to give this exception for Spence to fight without any belt unless it's Crawford. So this could be very well a done deal already as it is reported by many insider. I haven't heard anything from the camp of Thurman though, but as I have said, he is the B-side so no complaint from him whatsoever.

If you guys remembered, I asked if the Thurman vs Spence will be a title fight but it seems it's not.

Then just recently, the fight was sanctioned as a mandatory defense for Spence by the WBC.

A bit confused here, I thought they were fighting at 147 and not on 154. But why there's a term that no belt at stake here? Am I hearing it right?

Then what's the purpose of this fight especially it was sanction by a higher boxing authority?

I'm confused as well, if there's no belt involved, then we cannot call it a mandatory fight and Spence could say no if he wants to. Well, even if there's no belt involved, it will be okay for fans that are desperate to see some action as we will definitely see a real action of these two.

If just for fans' satisfaction then that fight is a waste of fight if no belt will be at risk.

Keith Thurman is clearly just being toyed and no point in risking his life for nothing.

He has a good portfolio in the first place so if that fight doesn't have a stake in line, it's a clear disrespect for Thurman just for Spence to have a fight after a long period of rest.
859  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling addiction touched forum users in a very sad way... on: January 16, 2023, 11:59:47 PM
Some people are fake like that, most people arent but there'll always be somebody who ruins any trust extended by a community sadly.

In other terms, shit happened, and can't be avoided as that was something that will happen surprisingly and instantly.

What matter here is, we should able now to think what's the best thing to do in the future in case we will be again in the same situation.

A bad experience though but that case should be served as another lesson for us.
860  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Criteria of a good gambler on: January 16, 2023, 11:59:42 PM
Another important factor is the mentality, and its psychology, I believe that these are one of the main factors for a person not to become an addict or also to not lose their money!!

That's true. Being a responsible gambler requires a strong mentality and the ability to still think of things properly even when at loss.

The fact that these gamblers are still on themselves even during a big loss, that I can be considered a good gambler.

Hard to become one of that but it's not something impossible to achieved if we are really serious on becoming a responsible gambler.
