It was closed in 2016. Awww just missed it. He does have a point though, a new bounty campaign might be a good idea. Can see this with a lot of older 2016 coins/tokens, they tend to not be found by the massive amount of new people that got into crypto over the last year. Don't know if the Iconomi team is still reading this Bitcointalk or it might be better to post this on Reddit? New bounty campaign would be a terrible idea and a waste of money. Please explain how it would benefit the project to distribute ICN to a bunch of random people who turn around and dump it on exchanges? It doesn't have to be a massive amount per user, but just something to get the word out and reward people for it. All these new people also speak to their families about crypto but it is still quite unknown to people that are not involved, they might see other people make money but the entry to the cryptosphere is still a bit tough. These people would benefit from ICONOMI and I'm sure it will bring more users to the platform, which in turn will increase the buyback/burn amounts, which benefits everyone. |

Looking forward to get my hands on the full story Have you thought about some more online promotion? Maybe things like a Gleam campaign for sharing the trailer, or some Viral Exchange promotion with the left over StarCredits? Maybe this is something for later on once the project is closer to release, but I do think it would be good to get more of an online presence for the project. |

I think some people should engage brain before opening mouth and spouting forth 'facts' that they have little or no knowledge of, these people should do there research first. Yep, I do think in some way FUD is good. Holders of NEO know the quality of the project and the FUD only fuels the team to want to do better, to show what they and NEO are capable of. This will only fuel the inevitable rise to be stronger. Discard the short term, think of the long term. Good things will be happening the coming years. |

Might it be an idea to give everyone who posts consistently a base rate of 5 merit per month or something similar? This way at least you can still earn a little bit of merit. Currently it is very hard to get merit, since it's all about other peoples opinion's of your posts. I do think it's good to reward good quality posting, but maybe some consistent stream of a little bit of merit will at least help to get a bit closer to the next goal every time, even though you still would have to make quality posts.

For those of you with Ledger Nano S, there is a new firmware out v1.41. The new features look very good and the number of apps that can be installed has increased significantly to 18.
This is great news, didn't know this, thanks for sharing! Was always a hassle to remove apps to be able to send/receive other coins. I wonder how they did this, considered there is a base amount of memory on the ledger. Now if only Stratis could stake from the Ledger |

The team has been building for years, getting recognized by big companies and presenting at several conferences. Surely at some point people should recognize this? Could it maybe be that the development team is not very big? There is maybe not enough potential outlook for possible clients that will use I/O Coin etc?
Nobody wants to buy a scam coin where over 75% of the coins are controlled by only 100 wallets. I agree that 75% for top 100 is somewhat on the high side, but this is the case for a lot of coins. Varying from 45% to 80%. Some examples of top 100 distribution: STRAT 62% DGB 61% VIA 79% NAV 72% BAY 72% EMC2 76% This is not correct. There are a few large bittrex wallets in top 100 as well. Bittrex wallets are cumulative wallets of multiple people. Yeah but you could say this for any better known coin usually, right? Still I am not arguing that it is bad, just showing comparisons to other coins. |
