841  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buy AltCoins in the exchange or Participate in ICO or Invest early like presale? on: July 13, 2018, 01:27:27 PM
I think it's more profitable to participate in the ICO in the early stages of pre-sale, because you will have the opportunity to sell coins as soon as the project reaches the stock exchanges, at a price higher than the one for which you buy them. And then later you can buy back these coins on the exchange at a much lower price, and spend the difference for your needs.

ICOs are always going to be a bad type of investment because of their high risks which makes them more like a gamble. the earlier you join one of them the more risk you are taking because it is still unknown and it will remain unknown but near the end at least you can have a better notion of how scammy they are.
842  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: ETH - a little tech analysis on: July 13, 2018, 01:18:54 PM
So technical analysis is just drawing some lines over a price charth and predicting what would the future price be based on pure geometry. Grin
Wow,I thought it was more complicated than that.By the way,I see that all the months in the graph are with their russian names. Are you from Russia or Ukraine?

this is a new trend among some of these newcomers. what they do is that they first come up with something that they wish to see, for example in this case the wish is seeing $300.
then they start coming up with reasons to explain why it is going to happen. sometimes they go as far as even convincing themselves about it.
843  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which one do you choose? on: July 13, 2018, 01:07:35 PM
you don't have to just choose one! you can do both and more with bitcoin.
you can use it as an investment which you buy and hold for long term, or you can day trade and make profit daily based on its daily fluctuations which are big enough for it. and all the while you can use your bitcoins to shop and pay for stuff online or offline.
you can also use bitcoin to start a business, a new one which doesn't yet exist so that you can become a business owner and earn real money on your own.
844  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: More Regulations For Cryptocurrency? on: July 13, 2018, 12:59:15 PM
Bitcoin taxation would be an excellent way to help countries make a significant tax from Crypto. But they must know who owns Bitcoin to tax them, or they will rule out taxation. The easiest way is to impose the exchanges that based in that country.

the government isn't just going to tax you for having something. otherwise you will have to pay them till the end of your time. what they do is that they tax you when you trade bitcoin and make profit on exchanges which happen to be centralized and have KYC implemented. that way they know you and also they take a part of your profit.
845  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Dump problem due to Short orders/bitcoin futures on: July 13, 2018, 12:51:48 PM
the short orders and bitcoin futures may have affected the resulting price of bitcoin that we are seeing today and they may have been the reason for some of the price drops that we had but they certainly are not the only reason, not even the main reason for the drops.
as it was said many times before, this is not the first drop that bitcoin had in its 9 year history but this was the first time we had futures.
846  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How do you find hidden GEMS? on: July 09, 2018, 07:28:48 AM
by looking at the daily price and volume changes of all the 1800 different altcoins. that way i find the "coin of the day" for trading purposes and if i can notice a pump or pumping signals in any of them then i jump on board that day's GEM and make my profit for that day and get off the pumping rocket fast with my profit intact.
847  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is the King of ICO, Do you agree? on: July 09, 2018, 07:18:24 AM
that is pretty obvious isn't it?

what is an ICO? it is a scamming scheme for code copy pasters to make money. and lots of it for that matter. kids living in their parents basements are calling it a "company" and then asking for a lot of money to release a shitty token that is never even used and doesn't solve anything in the world.

now how would you go about creating that to make the most profit and fool the most people?
you obviously use the most hyped up platform there is. and also a platform that has enough number of shitty ICOs that you can easily find a simple one to copy.

otherwise other smart contract platforms exist that are cheaper, easier to use, more decentralized, less buggy, less bloated,... than ethereum. why don't they use them? Wink
848  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Big company involvement in crypto will make Bull market come earlier? on: July 09, 2018, 07:00:08 AM
what the "companies" specially the big ones with big names do is that they get involved with the technology no the projects that use that technology aka altcoins.

these centralized companies want control, so they don't want to use something that is out of their control. if they do anything with the blockchain technology that would be creating their own cryptocurrency or public ledger for different purposes.

this will never have any effects on the price for real. you may see some hype out of it but that is about it.
849  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DENT is going wild! Up 200% in the last 24 hours! on: July 09, 2018, 06:46:40 AM
whenever an altcoin is listed on a new exchange there is always a pump following that listing and if the exchange is a big one like Binance which is number one in volume right now, the pump would be that much bigger. it is just people reacting to some hyped  up news and the pumpers waiting for any kind of excuse to pump the altcoins and make profit. they are doing it with a dozen altcoins every day so why not use an already hyped up coin?
850  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency Virtually Outlawed in India as Supreme Court Backs Ban on: July 09, 2018, 06:39:11 AM
Given the number of huge investors in India when it comes to the crypto currency market. The people and their ability to invest has what made this decision to come into place by the Indian government. Now, we need to wait and see what the Indian government's final verdict will be.

i doubt that there are that many "huge" investors in India, if any at all. there are a lot of small investors though. the population of India is huge and a great deal of them are investors but they are not rich people so they are small ones.

and based on decisions their government has been making for the past couple of years this has nothing to do with the size of investment but with the fact that they don't want to let their people stop relying on the banks by using decentralized bitcoin.
851  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: value determination of cryptocurrencies on: July 09, 2018, 06:34:27 AM
90% of the replies here are just repeating the same thing: "Supply and Demand". although that is correct but it is not all there is when it comes to determining price  of "altcoins and tokens".

since these coins have no real usage and no real value their prices are determined based on hype and the pump and dumps they have. in short it is based on manipulation. there is no real demand for them so all there is, is speculative demand  that has come based on that hype and pump that was going on. and will go out just as easily and fast.
852  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The Bitcoin Bulls are paying for keeps! on: July 07, 2018, 07:42:13 AM
These guys appear to have unlimited funding and will not surrender until a Bull run is in motion!

in case you didn't know bitcoin daily trading volume is 4-5 billion dollars every day these days that price is stable. during bigger moves it can reach a lot higher. and the market is not centralized like how altcoins are. for example Binance has all the volume of altcoin market and the price is mostly set there!
but in bitcoin it is Coinbase, Bitstamp, Bitfinex, Kraken,.... and 10 others each having between 5 and 10 percent of the market and they have no connection with each other.
now for someone to control this market (the way you suggest) they have to be on all these exchanges at once and have at least $1 billion in the market manipulating it!!!

not to mention that if what you say is true then price should have gone up to $10k by now. LOL

in comparison you can pump altcoins with less than $10k and some of them with even $1000 Cheesy

Who cares: The Fact is Bitcoin has strong Bulls. The Bears are going to be crucified. Go and place a short and see what happens to your investment: ZERO

why the fuck do i want to short bitcoin? specially now?!!
only an idiot would short bitcoin now that price is at the bottom and the chances of dropping more has decreased so much they are closer to 0.

854  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Indian exchanges have announced that no crypto-fiat exchanges will be allowed . on: July 07, 2018, 06:36:33 AM
Two biggest Indian crypto exchanges has already announced that they are not allowing users to deposit or withdraw INR now!  Roll Eyes

KOINEX - https://twitter.com/koinexindia/status/1015155469583900674

ZEBPAY - https://twitter.com/zebpay/status/1014477101410455552

Every indian exchange has started crypto-to-crypto trading platforms.

"now"?!! this is 3-4 days old and the warning for disabling deposits and withdrawals of fiat (Ruppee) came out a couple of weeks ago  (i think it was about 1 month-4 weeks ago)!
and they always had crypto-to-crypto trading which has not changed so far.
855  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Bitcoin May Soon Be Worth Nothing on: July 07, 2018, 06:26:03 AM
I think it's just click bait because the actual text isn't very long and doesn't give any explanation.

Absolutely. The "journalists" of these click bait articles always win, because when Bitcoin's on the rise it's an article about how it'll go to $30,000 in no time, and when Bitcoin's on the slide it's an article about how the end is near.

I always read the negative articles because I want to see if any of them make a complete argument...none of them do. They always omit the reasons why it could take off, therefore the real answer is "wait and see".

even during rise we see FUD because bitcoin is not on the rise 24/7 even in a bull market like last year that price was going up we have had drops (corrections to be exact) and if you check the news history versus price history you can see that during each dip we had a lot of FUD about how bitcoin is going to fail and die, blah blah Cheesy
that has to tell you enough about the main purpose of 90% these articles.
856  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Big news for bitcoin and crypto currency on: July 07, 2018, 06:20:53 AM
Great! May this news pulls up the price of the market and erase some doubts in the cryptocurrency investors. Lets see what brings this us in the next few days. A news like this - is what we need to promote and attract many investors to the crypto currency ecosystem.

news like this (which are showing direct adoption of bitcoin) are great but they won't exactly lead to a rise right away. specially when for every real good news there is 20 false FUD on the internet bashing bitcoin these days Cheesy
857  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Holding Altcoins Is Not Profitable Anymore on: July 06, 2018, 11:45:59 AM
What is your experience with altcoins and cryptocurrency in general? And are you still a hard believer in the future of cryptocurrency?

you shouldn't confuse the "future of cryptocurrency" with "future of altcoins" or in other words the "existing altcoins". so far the altcoins that we have in the market are a bunch of pump and dumps. there are good projects that aren't even in top 20 coins but they are being ignored because big bloated altcoins are taking all the attention.

the future is going to be the same as long as people want pump and dumps instead of good coins.
858  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: High Fees Gas ETH on: July 06, 2018, 11:34:36 AM
ethereum is a seriously flawed platform but only because they pump it a lot people close their eyes on all of these flaws. they can't even fix their scaling problems which are 100 times more serious than anything that you may have seen in bitcoin because of the faster blocks and the huge blockchain that it has!
the network is incapable of handling small number of transactions. god forbid we see an increase in them!
859  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Margin trading really profitable? on: July 06, 2018, 11:12:30 AM
any type of trading can be profitable as long as you have enough experience using that trading method. otherwise if you have not done it ever before you won't be able to make any kind of profit.
i personally wouldn't call margin trading "the best" as you put it in your comment but it is an option that many like. the key is predicting how low the altcoins are going to get dumped. and that's the hard part.
860  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin back on track? on: July 06, 2018, 11:03:51 AM
Do you really think that bitcoin will really reach 9k this year or more ?

Why $9000K? Why not $20,000K? Doesn't sounds realistic to you? LOL.

Let's look at the current price, based on cmc its around $6600K. So in order to get to $9000 we need at least $2400 in the next 5 months or so, so approximately around $500 a month increase. Does it look like realistic? Of course, specially if you are a very bullish person. Heck it can even get above $10,000 is everything go on our favor (positive news coming, LN, Segwit etc..).

i can't tell if you are sarcastic here or serious!
but $500 rise per month is going to be between 5% to 7% increase every month. that really isn't a "bullish" move for bitcoin. it is the smallest rise that bitcoin can have in such a time frame! normally in a bullish move we have 40-50% rise per month at least.
so yeah that can easily happen!
