841  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Too late to start? on: June 25, 2023, 01:20:31 AM
Hi!

I have heard about Bitcoin back in 2017 but never got to learn regarding about it. I always thought that crypto was a fluke and that it would definitely not be a type of transaction until pandemic happens. So, as the title would suggest, is it too late to start investing on crypto? And if not, what would be the essentials to learn on working on it?

Thanks in advance!

Many people regret and think it's too late for not buying when the price is cheap, I heard Bitcoin in 2013 when the price rose fantastic hundreds of percent to more than $ 1000, then in 2014 the price of drops was significant to below $ 200 and since then I did not follow Bitcoin Again, and if we don't start now then 4 or 5 years we will say the same thing as today.
Besides that, quite a lot of people ask about things like this. whether they are late or not. they are sometimes benchmarked against prices in previous years. things like this will probably continue to happen in the future. in the future, maybe 2024 or more than that, people will ask the same thing, "are they investing too late, because in 2023..." . well, my advice, if you are interested, then learn about it, is it good to enter at that time or not. the potential for bitcoin is still very large, so I don't think it's too late to invest. when you are ready with all the risks, then invest.
842  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Earning online more preferable than offline? on: June 24, 2023, 03:30:57 AM
No i cannot think that, i think offline earning is more preferable to me. Because online earning always uncertain. Trading is good for online earning but it will always profitable this thinking is wrong. Trading could be make a person poor within short time. Mainly new traders. For profit from trading we have to gather huge knowledge about trading. Otherwise we will loss our valuable fund. On the other hand offline earning is curtain and to a great extent safe. So i always preferred offline earning then online earning.
well, I think it all depends on the type of work we do. very many people who take advantage of their online business to generate big profits, even very many people like that. However, for some people, offline business is a very profitable business and expand it online.
So far, I feel that online business gives me more profit than offline. however, I aim to take advantage of both. maybe in the future, my offline business will make bigger profits than my online business.
843  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Having no money to invest in Bitcoin is even better on: June 24, 2023, 02:10:00 AM
Currently, there are quite a lot of ways to invest in bitcoin, there are even a lot of them on social media or YouTube. you can study it for free. In addition, people who are usually in a hurry in this investment will quickly leave this investment because they may think that this is an instant way to get profit, without even learning.
The advice I have is not to rush. You just need to keep studying if you don't have money. that way you might get a lot of benefits. In fact, you might even find a way to earn through an airdrop or something else, and start investing in bitcoins. for information, I also started all of this with only a laptop and internet.
844  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hold Bitcoin VS Hold Gold on: June 23, 2023, 03:03:27 AM
both remain a good investment depending on how we manage it in the future. not everyone knows about bitcoin, but everyone can use gold. If you are good enough at managing bitcoin then bitcoin will be a great choice, in fact you can extend that to have other types of investments. As for gold, you may hold onto it long enough and it only increases in value a little. Either way, both are still great options, it's just that they need to be tailored to your needs. I think, people also feel that both are good investments since long time ago, the proof is, bitcoin and gold have both survived and are still the recommended choice until now, moreover the price also tends to increase.
845  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Met Beautiful Young Asian Woman On Dating Site To Teach Me Trading on: June 23, 2023, 12:53:44 AM
Clearly ask how he trades if he is a professional trader who always makes a profit every time he trades.
The condition of the Bitcoin chart in a matter of hours has indeed increased. If he suggested buying Bitcoin and holding it for 60 seconds then selling, roughly how many times the profit would be.

Doesn't make a difference when OP is being redirected to a fake exchange the scammer actually owns.

The whole situation matches with pig-butchering scam, case is a confirmed scam, see: Asian guy/girl from online dating mentors you to invest in Forex/Cryptocurrency Trading -- Sha Zhu Pan 杀猪盘 or Pig-Butchering Scam
I also suspect that by the end of the story, he was pointed at a new exchange instead of using coinbase. it's quite strange when you are satisfied using coinbase, and get profit there.
It's just that if the OP takes advantage of this situation, he has gained new knowledge about trading, and the 60 second method. well, if he can make use of that, he has gained new knowledge. it's just that, it seems like he is really interested in and believes in this woman. However, if you're new to her, it's best not to believe what she says.
846  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BEP20 OR ERC20? Preferred token on: June 22, 2023, 03:47:09 AM
both have good systems to date. there are still quite a lot of new altcoins developing their projects using these two chains. It's just that, ERC20 still has drawbacks, namely the fee is quite large compared to BEP20. however, I think this can still be overcome by waiting for the gas fee to come down.
the ERC20 and BEP20 systems are currently still at the top, it's just that if we discuss tokens that use one system or both, then the advantages and disadvantages of these tokens can be seen in the benefits of tokens being developed, and it will have different results depending on the team that developed the token.
847  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin gift to wife on wedding. on: June 22, 2023, 02:47:20 AM
I think, gifting bitcoins to your wife is not very good, unless your wife is a trader or interested in it. Since you said bitcoin is illegal, I'm not sure your wife would be interested in that, but if she likes it, then that's probably good enough.
It's just that, for the wedding day, it might be better if you sell some of the bitcoins you've invested in something that looks physical, or invest in real estate and give it to your wife. that way, your wife can show off something to her family that it is the result of your gift. well, i think it's more romantic. however, it all depends on you because she is your wife.
848  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Crypto another form of gambling? on: June 21, 2023, 08:42:06 AM
Cryptocurrency cannot be directly compared to or equated to gambling. But there is a tone of gambling in cryptocurrency investment. In fact, there are three different kinds of activities in cryptocurrency.
  • As currency
  • As an investment asset
  • As gambling
Cryptocurrency can be seen as a currency because it can be used to pay for services or purchase goods. Many types of cryptocurrency are used for this purpose and that is why it is called a currency.

Again, cryptocurrency can be seen as an investment because of the volatility of the price. Some people will buy it and hold as a stock or an asset and allow it to appreciate and they will withdraw their profit.

Finally cryptocurrency can also be seen as gambling because you are staking something and you are not sure of the outcome by tomorrow. This being said, cryptocurrency is a mixture of all and a very unique technology that will remain in the mainstream of human advancement.
yes, even though it is very clear that in the name of crypto there is the word "curreny", so cryptocurreny is an alternative to crypto-based exchange tools on the internet. however, like currency, it can be used as a medium of exchange, investment, trading, or even gambling. so, if we see crypto as gambling, then make sure that its use is for gambling. so, I think the benefit depends on who is using it.
849  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I Want to Trade My House for Some Bitcoins. on: June 21, 2023, 07:23:53 AM
as long as it's not your main home, and you have a lot of assets, then that's pretty reasonable. as long as there is no big risk that can occur when the bitcoin price falls when you sell the house you own. You know about the risks of bitcoin, so I hope you are ready with that.
My advice is that you may need to withhold the bitcoins from the sale of your home for a while. perhaps, the gains you think about can be realized in a few years. however, that is still speculation. so, make sure that you have thought of a better move when the bitcoin price does not match your predictions. to be honest selling such assets, or borrowing to exchange them for bitcoins, or trading is a very high risk way.
850  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you, or would you ever use a Bitcoin ATM? on: June 20, 2023, 01:32:02 PM
So far, there are no Bitcoin ATMs in the location that I have. however, if there is, I might consider the fee. besides that, in my country bitcoin is prohibited from being used as currency, or a medium of exchange, and is only allowed as an investment. so, I think it is very unlikely that a Bitcoin ATM can exist in my location. besides, there are not that many crypto users, so I think it will take a very long time before I can give it a try. Anyway, I want to know the feeling when using Bitcoin ATM. it must be awesome.
851  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to borrow ETH to buy BTC? on: June 20, 2023, 08:08:55 AM
why would you want to borrow ethereum, when you can borrow money from your relatives, at the bank, or elsewhere to buy bitcoins. It is very difficult to find people to lend you ethereum. Other than that, the strategy you're using is quite odd, which is to buy ethereum for bitcoins. why don't you look for a more reasonable coin stable loan. However, when it comes to loans, I think finding someone close to you who believes in you will be easier than looking for loans on the internet.
852  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stop stressing kids with bitcoin on: June 19, 2023, 03:10:41 PM
I think it all depends on how the child will respond to something like this. For very young children, it seems like it might stress them out by pressuring them to keep learning about this. it's just that, if the age is good enough for learning, then there's nothing wrong with doing that. this is like learning math that makes people become stressed. sometimes we need to teach them from childhood so they get used to it. even so, we need to see how they respond regarding Bitcoin.
Besides, making an investment in them from childhood is a good idea I think. we can give the investment we make when they really understand how it works.
This is different from telling them to make money from small. I see this as education or the beginning of education. I see some people on social media teach their children well about this technology. Sometimes, we also need to encourage them to know things like this so they can easily adapt when they grow up.
Yes, but it all depends on each person's point of view. we're talking about kids who are good enough to be taught this way, and saving for them when they're not yet able to understand this technology.
853  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins airdrops you received so far for the year 2023 on: June 19, 2023, 05:41:33 AM
I have long detach myself from airdrops due to most of them are worthless.  Aside from that some airdrop injects malware to the participant in order to sweep the token that is saved on the metamask.  Due to that, I missed many "gem" airdrops but I do no regret it since I'd rather have my unit system security intact than try to risk the security just to get these airdrops.
well, SUI and ARB are "gems" in airdrops. however, to find "gems" in airdrops it seems like we need to follow almost all existing airdrop jobs. right now, there's a lot of airdrops from testnet, but i think it's too much to try one by one and it might be time consuming. Personally, I also have other jobs in the real world, so it's really hard to focus on airdrops. because of this, until now, I also haven't received anything from the airdrop. In fact, it's been a long time since I've felt the gift of a truly profitable airdrop.
854  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Without money, the knowledge is a waste on: June 18, 2023, 03:43:37 AM
it doesn't seem like it. without money, one could still develop something from one's knowledge, but that might be quite slow compared to when they had money. for example, a person wants to trade, and has knowledge there, however, he has no money. With the breadth of knowledge he has, he might look for ways to make money for free, or by selling his skills. that way he can make money little by little to develop what he has in mind.
However, I also think the other way around, without knowledge, no matter how much money you have, it can run out quickly. the evidence for this is overwhelming. for example a person who is new to trading, dares to take the risk by using all his money to buy a trash coin and hope it becomes like bitcoin. however, what happened was that the coins were dumped so that the money he had decreased very quickly.
855  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your favorites altcoins these days? on: June 18, 2023, 02:13:46 AM
Mine was BNB, ETH, RNDR, ARB. What about you guys? What do you keep following or watching these days? and why?
Until now, my favorite altcoins are Ethereum and BNB. It is very clear that Ethereum is the king of altcoins, and the potential for growth is also very large in the future. it's just that, the thing that hinders me from making an investment is the large fee and the price which is currently quite expensive. however, I still include ethereum in my portfolio second only to bitcoin.
After that is BNB. although there are many negative issues regarding BNB. but I still quite believe that BNB has great potential in the future. what's more, with all the problems, BNB is still a big coin right now. besides that the price is also still at a pretty good price to buy little by little.
856  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If I have $40,000 to invest in one #cryptocurrency. on: June 17, 2023, 08:17:34 AM
if it's investing in crypto, I'm pretty sure $40k, then the most options will be bitcoin and ethereum. however, since the OP said any other coin then I'd probably go for BNB. unfortunately, the OP didn't provide any BNB options in the portfolios he mentioned, so I would probably choose between SOL, ADA, and also MATIC. maybe delivered my choice is SOL.
In fact, apart from DOGE and SHIBA, these are all popular coins that are currently still being developed, and may have potential for huge returns at $40k.
857  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin trading be my sole source of income? on: June 17, 2023, 02:08:45 AM
Do you have work today? besides you are doing Bitcoin trading in this field of industry. Because if you have a job now or are currently an employee of a company, you know what the answer to your question is.

Try to imagine, why would you resign from the job you have now if you know for yourself that the profit you get from bitcoin trading is not consistent? I hope you get my point. In short, if you know that trading here in crypto or Bitcoin is not a joke, I am also certain that you will not resign from your job right now, unless you know for yourself that you can take profit every day from trading activity here.
Sometimes quite a few people get a large amount of profit trading, and then they think that when they focus on trading, they can make more profit, and they end up leaving their job. however, this happened to me in 2016-2017. in that year, I made quite a lot of money, and thought that this was a very good job. because of that, I don't think about other jobs. however, a few years after that, I was losing quite a bit on crypto, and wished I had a decent paying job. it's probably the same as the OP wanting to quit his current job.
The advice I have is, keep your job and if you are interested in trading then you should only do it during your break or time off. even, you can check the price or traffic while you are still working. so, keep doing as usual.
858  Economy / Economics / Re: Why you should use spare money to invest on: June 16, 2023, 11:57:55 AM
basically, if investing, then use the reserve money that we have, or the savings that we save with the aim of investing. That's because investment is something that is uncertain in the future. we don't know whether the investment we are currently making is really making us profit, or maybe it can make us lose the value of what we are investing, and this applies to all types of investments.
Maybe there are so many people who dare to take risks by using their principal money to invest, especially in bitcoin. Many of them managed to get hundreds to thousands of percent profit. however, those who take risks without analyzing the situation sometimes fall at heavy losses. So, very many people suggest investing only using reserve money so that when we take risks from the investments we make, we don't really feel a loss or it doesn't have an effect on our main things.
859  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buy ETH as much as you can.... on: June 16, 2023, 06:40:26 AM
to be honest, I've been using a method like this for a long time. selling not so popular altcoins, then buying ethereum. this method always works, and makes me make a sizable profit on ethereum. However, right now it's quite difficult for me to collect large amounts of ethereum because the price is already quite high. I used this method when the price of ethereum was still below $ 700. it's just that, I still do this method to collect ethereum little by little. however, I have also done this method on other popular altcoins.
860  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Interested in investing in Bitcoin my childhood friend after losing business on: June 15, 2023, 08:55:32 AM
You can advise him to invest when you have explained the risks. I'm afraid that when the bitcoin price drops, your friends will blame you for this. IMO, it's best to explain everything about the advantages and risks of investing in bitcoin or crypto. after that, try to suggest that he do his own research. when he is ready to invest in bitcoins, you just have to tell him to come to you to know where to exchange or where to buy bitcoins and a safe place to store them. Besides that, make sure that all the risks that can occur are beyond your responsibility.
