841  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Steam accepting btc - will it affect the forum market? on: May 18, 2016, 10:41:29 PM
No this will not affect the market at all, what people already said is that people here are offering games way cheaper than on steam so its more attractable to buy here on the forum!
842  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it a sin to gamble? on: May 18, 2016, 10:37:26 PM
Gambling your wife and kids or their future is a sin. But if you would use the money you allocated for your entertainment to try out your luck, its just fine. Just remember, if your action doesn't have any bad effects on any other living being, your are just fine with your journey to hypothetical heaven.

Indeed and that is also what people are saying, its really depending on how you look at it and what is happening at someone.
If you just do it for the enjoyment and it hurts no one it is no sin at all.
843  Economy / Speculation / Re: BUY or SELL bitcoins ? What you prefer ? on: May 18, 2016, 10:32:18 PM
Buying now is the thing you can do and I also consider it as one of the best things you can do compared with selling, due to the fact the halving is coming this year buying is better.
844  Economy / Speculation / Re: The future of Bitcoin on: May 18, 2016, 10:24:59 PM
Overall the future of the bitcoin can be considered as good because the future is pretty good and the fact is that the halving will also be good.
Predicting this is difficult indeed but we will see.
845  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you still believe in bitcoin on: May 18, 2016, 10:19:54 PM
Yes I still believe in the bitcoin because it has a good future if you ask me, it has the halving and the growing part and that is why why should believe in it.

Why would we not believe in the bitcoin because it has a good future and what more do we want right now ?
I'm also believing in it and I think we all need to believe in it.
846  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: May 18, 2016, 06:50:51 PM
I would never quit my day job because the fact is that you can still not make the bitcoin your job in my opinion there are too many risks involved by doing this in my opinion.
847  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Are floppy disks safe to store wallets? on: May 18, 2016, 05:46:01 PM
This would be pretty smart if you ask me, I think this could work out and it would be safe, the most computers/laptops does not support this even anymore.
848  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin on Steam on: May 18, 2016, 05:38:20 PM
Its pretty nice that steam is now accepting the bitcoin and I already now did use it for one game.
Its a nice service they are offering and the payment transactions with the bitcoin is pretty fast.
849  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Dark marketplaces? on: May 18, 2016, 05:13:41 PM
Ok.dont call me stupid but i never get it how does that work? You buy a gun or drugs through darkweb and you set up your tor browser and everything and you pay the guy with bitcoin.assuming he wont disappear after you pay him how will he physically deliver the gun? Is he going to use post service or what?He will deliver it personally with a mask on his face? wtf?

There are a lot of dark marketplaces around and I think its gonna be a problem in the future, because its getting bigger and bigger these days with the bitcoin..
Its not gonna be a problem, but I really hate that the media is only talking about it that its getting used for dark marketplaces.
You have a sort of website that are having all url's of the marketplaces on the deep web.
850  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: May 18, 2016, 04:37:18 PM
Gambling is addicting because of all kind of factors, I think gambling can really make you addicted for sure without any doubts.
Its the point that you can really enjoy it for a long time plus it can be very profitable if you have luck.
851  Other / Archival / Re: should i save btc for future? on: May 18, 2016, 04:05:17 PM
Yes its good to invest in the bitcoin or save it this year because of the halving that is coming it will be very good if you ask me, I really have no doubts about that.
852  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or Gold? What would you pick? on: May 18, 2016, 03:52:48 PM
I would go for the gold without any doubts to be honest, I think that gold is a very good investment and it will always remain its worth without any doubts.
853  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: May 18, 2016, 01:59:41 PM
The most people with a smart mind are holding their coin and that is because they know that they can earn some more money later and that would be perfect for them.
But they already have waited a long time because it was already stable for a long time so that is bad.

You are right about that and its logical that they are doing this because the bitcoin has a very good future a head if you ask me.
I think that the future of the bitcoin is very good with the halving together.
854  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin worth to you or not... on: May 15, 2016, 02:38:54 PM
It is really worth to me because I will using bitcoins to bet on NBA Playoffs. Tomorrow is the game 7 of Toronto Raptors vs Miami Heat. FYI, I exchange my money to bitcoin to support my gambling habits, I really love sports betting that is why if without bitcoin I cannot bet of my favorite team.

Ever since I have discovered bitcoin I have already use it as an instrument in betting online, it gives me benefits because I was able to play without burning big charges on withdrawals and deposits just like other popular sportsbook do which do not accept bitcoins.

Everybody got it's reason to use bitcoin. My reason is the potential of bitcoin seems very good and even better i do expect to have it go mainstream, which means low fees, not dependent on banks etc. etc.
855  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people store their bitcoin on a file, or on paper? on: May 15, 2016, 02:35:15 PM
I guess because of their habits.
All our life we learned that money comes on the paper and that Internet is unsafe, very risky place.
So, naturally, we feel more secure if we keep Bitcoin on the paper than in online wallet.
Paper you can touch, online wallet can't Smiley
I think that younger generation don't have such concept about papers and Internet any more.

The internet is a risky place but storing your wallet address on a paper file is in a way standard procedure. Like real money you have to protect it against thieves etc. So you put it in a vault.
With bitcoin you save it on paper or any offline device.
856  Economy / Speculation / Re: +$20 in the last 24hrs... on: May 15, 2016, 02:30:20 PM
Price stability is very important for the adoption of bitcoin. When the volatility is the same as US dollar, more people will use it.

But in reality only after getting a higher adoption the volatility in price goes similar to the dollar or other currency. So initially people need to believe in its potential and adopt to experience stabilized value for long run.

If there are more holders and investors, it will be too hard for market markers to play with the price like they are doing now and have been doing for a long time. So  this kind or increases eventually will come to an end.

This is not sure. Just look at some large companies. Their stock is also very volatile so there is no guarantee that the price will be volatile.
I do think though it will be less volatile if it is more mainstream.
857  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is their any safe methods to gamble? on: May 15, 2016, 12:11:36 AM
No their are no safe methods like many others already said, safe gambling is just not possible because its called gambling and its based on luck.
858  Economy / Speculation / Re: When to hit $10,000? on: May 14, 2016, 10:53:55 PM
I do not think we ever gonna hit this amount to be honest, I really think its just unrealistic and this number is way too high for the bitcoin itself.
The fact is that its not possible to reach without doubts, its just so far from it.
859  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you actively spend your bitcoins? on: May 14, 2016, 10:33:59 PM
I do not spend them a lot to be honest, I only sometimes spend them if I really need or want something.
These days I also do not want to spend a lot because the bitcoin is gonna increase in its price of course.
860  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: May 14, 2016, 09:56:37 PM
NO, bitcoin really cannot replace any of the bank, but bank can start working on it and they can modify according to their demand and then can start to use it as a normal currency. and also if someone say that everyone will redirect to bitcoin and withdraw their money and invest them in bitcoin then i will say that banks have some other tasks also which they are performing for the state and maintaining the state financial affairs etc.

I also do not think this is possible and the fact is that the banks also gave too much power all over the world, its just way too big to take over.
We could never achieve this with the bitcoin if you ask me.
