841  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Las Vegas Casinos are open - end of the Pandemic era. on: June 06, 2020, 10:37:41 AM
The places which failed to contain and control the virus are now moving towards living with virus. What we are already doing with HIV but Covid is much easily transmitted. It's been seen that as people get used to a virus, they would be affected less. The virus would get less severe and people would stop getting afraid of it. It should have been done from the start but coronavirus was exaggerated much more for political cause.
842  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's Next After Halving? on: June 06, 2020, 01:59:50 AM
I think it's time for the developers to think about other ways to secure the network. The current POW has been too much resource hungry as large part of miners cost are electricity bills. Not only the current mining system is decreasing the miners profit but it also is a large drain on global energy supply. If we couldn't think a way of making it more efficient.
843  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: "NEW NORMAL" Betting on: June 05, 2020, 07:06:01 PM
Not just sports, the current stand still is affecting every economic aspects. China was the first and only country to significantly reduce the case and open up. Taiwan and South Korea also did some impressive work in containing but everywhere else the things are still out of control. The curve may have flatten but opening up may bring another wave of virus. So, for most country it would be balancing between opening up and preventing the virus. Our society is not going to open as they were in 2019. The games on empty stadium may last longer than we are thinking.
844  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ‘No Message Was Signed’: Craig Wright Refutes Tulip Trust Fabrication on: June 04, 2020, 01:55:40 PM
I am just tired of hearing his lies. If I were the judge I would have already jailed him for contempt of court.
How can a man lie straight multiple of times and still get a media attention? He is not even the president of US.
The case is also venturing away from it's intention and getting too long. There should be a judgement soon and make him liable for the klemein estates loss.
845  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why is Telegram associated with fraudsters on: June 04, 2020, 11:42:26 AM
Scammers in Telegram, well, there are scammers without Telegram, just why position a beautiful creation like Telegram with scammers, Telegram is a multi-functional tool with the ability to create a bot and a lot of other functionality, but as the question comes to do something useful through Telegram, many say telegram and there are scammers.

Telegram could be used as a general chat room but people should not ask for or deliver support through telegram as people there can easily create any number of fake accounts and change the name and telegram anytime they wish. This is a function to maintain privacy but people use it to try to cheat others.
846  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Extremely Low Oil Prices Might impact Bitcoin Mining Industry on: June 04, 2020, 09:54:36 AM
Mining is a large investment. People just don't buy miners when oil prices are cheap and stop mining when they gets higher. Most of the miners maintains a steady flow of electricity throughout the year as stooping the miner is losing the money, specially considering bitcoin mining hardware. They need to make a profit before the new hardware comes into the market.
847  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Home Court advantage = Not an advantage now because of no-live audience? on: June 04, 2020, 09:13:38 AM
Home advantage is more about the field than about the audience. Audience mostly are a pressure while players doing practices on the field almost everyday are well aware of every slight angles and imperfections of the ground. They are much familiar to external factors like sun and the wind.
848  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What are TOP small-medium exchanges to list a token for a new, great project? on: June 01, 2020, 05:48:12 PM

849  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is worthless, but in-game currency or tokens are priceless ...yea right! on: June 01, 2020, 03:23:32 PM
People sometimes can't get their preference right. They just needs a wake up call. But not everyone is easily convinced.
Our society is made up of different kinds of people and their are always different thoughts. Our soceity won't function if we thought the similar and did the same.
There needs to be seller when people buy and their needs to be buyer when they sell.
850  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China's new law for protecting CryptoCurrency. on: May 31, 2020, 12:03:17 PM
If people are curious about inheritance, China is a communist nation where the people don't necessarily own what they have or use.
Government in China, more specifically the CCP owns every land and buildings in China, agricultural lands are collectively owned.
There are many restrictions on what the people can inherit to their child, now cryptocurrencies has been added as inheritable asset.
851  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: JPMorgan Now Says Bitcoin (BTC) Is Significantly Undervalued (Huge Turn around) on: May 30, 2020, 12:36:21 PM
People may take time to realize how good bitcoin is but they'll realize it sooner or later. But every statement by these bankers needs to be looked with suspicion.
JP Morgan called bitcoin bubble, restricted his bank to work along with crypto. He eventually bought some cheap coins and now has changed his narrative of bitcoin as well policy of his bank. This person can turn anyway if he sold his coins in the future.

interesting address, did you create it by some vanity generator or is it pure accident?
when you look at the hash (HASH160 of public key) of this address in hexadecimal there is nothing special about it:
Code:
5ad6b5af33003a9ef811bb4c9a048a46eca33b38
but when you look at it in binary and group the bits in groups of 5 (which is what bech32 encoding does) it consists of 6 consecutive 0b01011 which is equal to 11 or letter t in bech32 encoding. Roll Eyes

I used a vanity generator. Went in with many large strings and it was the first to pop up in several minutes.
853  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: English Premier League set to restart on June 17, 2020. on: May 30, 2020, 12:07:12 PM
Bundesliga already on, La Liga and Premier league are to start soon. Italy is also talking about resuming the league. French made decision of crowning without completing. Though the stadium would lack viewers, the most people view it in TV and maybe our sports would remain so for years to come. Now is the right time to implement 3D/AR cameras on football to bring live actions to viewers.
854  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: CZ and Coinmarketcap on: May 30, 2020, 11:31:05 AM
Yeah but that's not the real big deal there, beware of more manipulative acts by cz.Smiley
Lol, the fact is you can only manipulate volume not liquidity, there is no way to go about it, the truth will be revealed instantly, don't underestimate CZ, he is a money making man but he has huge reputation to protect, it's win win for everybody when it comes to CZ

Not only volume, liquidity from centralized exchanges too cannot be trusted. They implement several ways to manipulate it. They even rig APIs.
CMC did this change mostly to bring Binance in number one position. Which itself is a message that they would manipulate the data to make it look the way they want. Not going to trust CMC blindly.
855  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: May 29, 2020, 03:09:03 AM
That's good, so we can see Liverpool become EPL champions for the first time.
At least the first in the last 20 years. Liverpool last won the EPL in the 1989-90 season and the 2019-2020 season allowed them to repeat the long-awaited history.

It's been a long time to wait this moment, i wish Liverpool bring this dream come true after few times they failed to be a champions in the last week.
Since 1992, at least Liverpool has been runner up 4 times precisely in the 2001-2002 season, 2008-2009, 2013-2014, and the latest is 2018-2019. For this season I think they have a 99% chance of getting the title.

And at last settle my bet for EPL winners which been pending for a long time now. 1970s and 1980s were the times of Liverpool in English football. And now again they have built up a solid team, diverse yet  well balanced on every aspects. If they be able to retain current team and composition, they'd be unchallenged for years to come.
856  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poll about lottery game on: May 28, 2020, 02:22:47 PM
It would not be exciting if there are many winners on a lottery game. The most you can go is 3 winners for every 100 participants. That's a winning odd of 3%.
And there should also be limit how much a single player be able to buy on a lottery. The game of course should be provably fair. Provably fair on lottery is much easier as you can take a simple reference of future hash for the results.
857  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is good strategy or technique for Toss Coin? on: May 28, 2020, 01:24:53 PM
Though the probability of head or tail is equal, From the OP's description and the pic, I believe the rewards are different depending on which side has more bets. If that's so, putting you bet on the side which has smaller bets would have a chance of wining higher. You can combine it with simple martingale and your actual probability considering the base amount would be higher than 50%.
858  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sometimes bounties never gets old on: May 28, 2020, 10:21:35 AM
No such thing as old bounty, the project you promote 2years back can still come up and give you awesome reward, imagine promoting a project in 2018 paid you big reward in 2020 after you've already zero your mind that it's over? I want bounty hunters in the house to verify this, true or false??

Anyways, do not underestimate old projects you promote, they can still pay up and secondly do not leave or exit their telegram channel no matter how many years it's been, if you do you might be denied of your rewards

Rarely are bounties that has paid after more than 6 months and the prices of tokens are satisfy-able to the participants. 16-17 were a pleasant time for bounty hunters but after that rarely have projects delivered the intended profit led alone doing that after a year. There could be a few rare cases but anything that held you coin for more than 6 month is a scam.
859  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fees high on: May 28, 2020, 08:04:57 AM
If you are not in a hurry, a 10sat/byte fees is perfectly okay. Today got 6 confirmation on 10sat/byte within 1.5 hours. That's 26 cents to send 15 dollars.
I was using segwit native and blockexplorer claimed I've saved 42% of fees using a segwit native. So, if you don't have a time constrain, you can go much cheaper.
