841  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [~5000 Gh/s] DeepBit.net PPS+Prop,instant payouts, we pay for INVALID BLOCKS too on: July 14, 2011, 09:23:52 PM
Is there something special on the site or something I'm blocking?  Just with firefox.  It loads with chrome fine.  It's strange.
This isn't a bash against the pool.  I'm just asking maybe someone else has a solution for this or something to try for a fix.  It's probably my end or my FF.  I've restarted FF and cleared cache as well without it being fixed.  This has been happening for a few days for me already.  FF is my main browser and I need to use chrome just to view DB.
I'll send you a PM with possible solution.

changed my bitcoin address never recieved email to confirm ,  now its been over 10 hrs waiting
If you are using gmail, you need to check your "Spam" folder at the gmail site.
If you are using hotmail.com, add "no-reply@deepbit.net" to your contacts.
If you are using yahoo.com, e-mail me. After submitting address change request there is a special help page that recommends e-mailing me in case of troubles with confirmation message.

What CPU miner would you guys suggest? I have been running ufasoft's on some intel xeon's and I am getting around 30-40MHs per server. I tried cgminer but it says opencl is not available... well of course it isn't available I want to CPU mine with these servers, not gpu mine. Any ideas?
Have you tried jgarzik's cpuminer ?

Sorry for those troubles, but we had to.
844  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [~5000 Gh/s] DeepBit.net PPS+Prop,instant payouts, we pay for INVALID BLOCKS too on: July 13, 2011, 09:15:25 AM
Why disable cpu miners?  Is cpminer also disabled?
Only Ufasoft miner is having troubles now. It's not like we "disabled" it, it's just not compatible with our setup at this moment.
845  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [~5000 Gh/s] DeepBit.net PPS+Prop,instant payouts, we pay for INVALID BLOCKS too on: July 13, 2011, 08:29:43 AM
There was a workaround for this, but we had to disable it today.
"we" as in?
Pool admins.
just to clarify, does that include btc guild?
That's not our pool. We are talking about Deepbit.
846  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [~5000 Gh/s] DeepBit.net PPS+Prop,instant payouts, we pay for INVALID BLOCKS too on: July 13, 2011, 08:27:23 AM
Is the ufasoft miner disabled forever?
There are two possible positive outcomes:
1) We will find another workaround.
2) Ufasoft's author will finally fix it.

Have you tried to use another CPU miner like jgarzik's one ? It may be even a bit better because it has working Long Polling, but I don't know how much slower it is.

I get Error 80190191 on all cpu miners, too.
Last night that worked fine - today all pcs get this error :(
80190191 means wrong username or password. It doesn't say whether the miner has it wrong or if Deepbit has it wrong. Check both of them :)
The problem is in the communications library used by ufasoft.
Instead of sending your login and password it tries to connect without authorization and provides credentials only after receiving error message/request from the pool.

There was a workaround for this, but we had to disable it today.

Mine says not yet redeemed.
If you are talking about your transaction in blockexplorer, then it means that you didn't sent your reward to anyone yet.
If you send your money to someone and this transaction will get a confirmation, it will be "redeemed".
850  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: transaction processing policies on: July 13, 2011, 02:19:14 AM
My pool is including many free transactions, usually limited to 50-100 Kb of them per block. I would like to keep TXes free as long as possible :)
Transactons with fee 0.01 or more are considered "non-free" and have higher priority.

I'm not the only one admin here.
Does that mean that [Tycho] is more than just one person?
I am one person, but I'm not the only who is working on the pool.
852  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [~5000 Gh/s] DeepBit.net PPS+Prop,instant payouts, we pay for INVALID BLOCKS too on: July 13, 2011, 02:09:59 AM
Same for my last payout. The link to the non-existing transaction is:
http://blockexplorer.com/tx/5f694fef5d144d6a1752a9c33a4c1ef4b56a9daf41045c3497808a157a2ccd60
It's already confirmed.

As I said before, your transaction will be delivered if you see it in your payments table.

Also, how do you 'verify' your email so the red asterisk is removed?  Could this be why I'm getting the Mail_sending_failed message?
Red asterisk is removed after clicking on any confirmation link in a message from the pool.

PM me your login please.
854  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [~5000 Gh/s] DeepBit.net PPS+Prop,instant payouts, we pay for INVALID BLOCKS too on: July 13, 2011, 02:05:13 AM
Hmmm, my latest payout to my wallet isn't showing up either on blockexplorer. On my deepbit payment page, all the prior transactions (when you click on the dates) are linked up to blockexplorer, but the last one says "No such transaction". I hope this is just a delay.
They are shown in the blockexplorer only after being included in the block (getting first confirmation).

At this moment site is temporarily unavailable. This doesn't affects mining.
does it affect payouts, cause im missing some btc from this transaction. http://blockexplorer.com/tx/1cdb77761a992d7eda626a84614e0c0c363e21bb6622b53f5cf1493fe4f8ada0
it doesnt show up in my wallet. Sad
No, payouts are ok.

Your transaction is in the network queue, waiting to be confirmed:

We have some problems at this moment. I'm working on this.
859  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: DeepBit pool thread for newbies on: July 12, 2011, 01:29:50 PM
I tried this pool yesterday and made about 1700 shares, but I had about 1,2% stales. I think it's a bit high - is this normal for this pool?
Depends on the miner that you use and your connection. Usually I say that < 0.3% is perfect and < 1% is good.
860  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: DeepBit pool thread for newbies on: July 12, 2011, 01:27:55 PM
on 3 different machines in 3 locations i keep getting a message.

"www.deepbit.net uses an invalid security certificate.
The certificate is only valid for deepbit.net
That's because pool's site is deepbit.net, not www.deepbit.net :)
