841  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where do people post referral links? on: November 09, 2016, 06:04:00 AM
Someone above has mentioned facebook groups where it is allowed to post your referral link, from my own experience I know that this method doesn't work very well these groups have no rules, they are pure spamfests (about 5 new posts per minute) and almsot nobody will see your post.
But you can start your own FB group, set strict rules to prevent spam and pin your post on the top of the page,it's easy, free and you will get a lot of referrals.
842  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in DICE SCRIPT (FREE) on: November 08, 2016, 10:27:59 PM
What's the point of using this script when the auto play option is available? Not that it matters you will still end up in loss, especially in a site like freebitcoin which has 5% house edge your balance will reach zero very quick.
843  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [POLL] Would you open a Bitcoin account at your local bank? on: November 08, 2016, 11:15:03 AM
There are so many threads about "Bitcoin banks" lately, I can't understand why people are so obsessed with them.
Anyway, I answered no, I don't need a bank account and one of the many reasons that I use Bitcoin is that I dislike them a lot they have nothing to offer but limitations and trouble, I really hope one day we'll totally get rid of them.
844  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: I did deposit btc to coinn.io on: November 08, 2016, 05:32:53 AM
Im really new bitcoins invested as little as 0.1 in this site coinn.io seems legit I did withdraw some from bonus but how safe it is if i want to deposit larger ammount. Any one can give a hint for a noobie like me please.
Congratulations you probably lost your money, 99% of cloud mining sites are scams including the one you 'invested'.I hope that 0.1 BTC is an insignificant amount for you and you won't miss it very much, now be smart, keep your money and don't deposit in this kind of sites again.
845  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: What is faucet ? on: November 08, 2016, 03:27:27 AM
You are hero member and you want to know what faucet is? Its very strange you ask this, because you already know what faucet is:

~snip
I think bL4nkcode is right, it might be a bought account. Well, there's a big possibility. I checked the Trust summary and I saw this: This user's email address was changed recently. In regards to posts, also seen on the profile, it seems that different BTC address was used before and recently.

A few weeks ago a newbie posted in this section and asked how much his hero account worth, the interesting part is that he said his account was enrolled in Bitmixer signature campaign, too many coincidences don't you think?
Unfortunately, that thread is deleted now and I can't use it as a reference.

Why you being a senior member are promoting a ponzi?.
It is not a Ponzi since they don't accept deposits, but I have to agree with you and everyone else here, downloading shady programs on our PCs is not recommendable and very risky especially when most of the Bitcoin users are keeping their coins in their desktop wallets.
847  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Debunking popular myths about Bitcoin on: November 07, 2016, 08:15:35 PM
Bitcoin is a Ponzi scheme
Ponzi scheme definition in a few words "A Ponzi scheme is a fraudulent investing scam promising high rates of return with little risk to investors. The Ponzi scheme generates returns for older investors by acquiring new investors"
Bitcoin has nothing to do with this,it will not ask you to 'invest' and it will not promise you any profit it was not created as an earning opportunity (even though many people seem to believe the opposite) but a currency and unlike Ponzis it doesn't require new investors/users to keep going and avoid the collapse.
848  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: What is faucet ? on: November 07, 2016, 07:24:53 PM
Strange question for a hero member, anyway your description is correct only a few faucets are surviving for a long time most of them are closing after a while and the main reasons are the low paying advertising networks (especially since Adsense banned all of them) and the bot attacks.
You will not earn much a user unless you have a ton of referrals but they can help newbies to collect their first BTC.
849  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FaucetHub.io - Micropayment system. FaucetBox alternative. on: November 07, 2016, 03:14:50 AM
I'm happy that you took this decision Mexicantarget you've proved with your previous projects that you can deliver great results and faucet business needs people like you in order to survive and grow, let us know if there is a way to help you with this.
I am also glad to see that you are planning to release a new script along with FaucetHub, time to get rid all these crappy FaucetBox scripts, I have nothing against FB but their scripts are easy targets for bots, anyway good luck.
850  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FaucetBOX.com Discussion on: November 06, 2016, 07:21:12 PM
"Despite many efforts and great growth FaucetBOX.com didn’t turn into a profitable business and we’re not able to sustain it anymore"
I was never expecting to read something like this, with almost every faucet using their services I thought that they were profitable, what about the alternatives we have?I never used paytoshi or epay.

Negative. I asked if they're gonna sell it, they declined.

Would love if I could purchase this project.
How about creating a new one from scratch?I know that a project like this is not easy but I am sure you will do a good  job and there is enough time until faucetbox closes (Jan 2017).

852  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Online games that can earn bitcoin? on: November 05, 2016, 06:49:18 PM
Gamefaucet is a cool site and the only Bitcoin game I play atm, five different arcade games which pay you in BTC plus a 200 satoshi activity bonus every fifteen minutes, you won't be rich of course but you will have some fun and get paid at the same time.
There are two similar threads from the last month check here and here for more recommendations.
853  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best source of bitcoin nowadays? on: November 05, 2016, 06:31:46 PM
I voted for trading as well but there is risk involved just like in gambling the main difference between them is that in trading you don't rely only on your luck.
As for the rest options they don't even belong in this poll IMO, 99% of them are ponzi scams and you will end up with your money stolen if you "invest" in any of them.
854  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How long will signature campaigns last? on: November 05, 2016, 07:04:31 AM
and as for your popular ad networks, they never work better because this forum is the main focus of all the bitcoin users in the world whereas those ad networks are going to be on some random website with little traffic. and don't forget "ad-blocks" which will easily add all those Google Adsense and other banner ads.
Indeed, I've disabled ad-block only in a few sites but I rarely click any of their ads when I visit them and as far as I remember I never bought any these products.
On the other hand I tried many of the services that are advertised here and I am  sure that I am not the only one. That's why signature campaigns will keep going as long as this forum is online and active, they are one of the most effective ways to promote any Bitcoin related business.
855  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin core safe to store all of my bitcoin? on: November 05, 2016, 01:16:46 AM
I am looking for the best wallet to safely store my bitcoin for the next lot of years (who knows how long) is bitcoin core a safe place to do this or should i look at others?
As long as you keep your PC clean, use an antivirus software, don't visit sites you don't trust and don't download shady exe files it is safe (much safer than online wallets).
If you are planning to store a big amount of Bitcoin and look for an even safer solution try a paper wallet or buy a hardware one.
856  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: November 05, 2016, 12:09:34 AM

857  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to teach people to download software wallets? on: November 03, 2016, 05:32:43 PM
These people obviously didn't understand the concept of Bitcoin very well, they need to realize that as long as they don't hold the private keys then they don't have 100% control over these funds.
Also, someone has to inform them that online wallets are not so safe as they might think and that there are much better options to store their Bitcoins like hardware wallets, paper wallets etc.
858  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Is wallet from exchanger safe? on: November 03, 2016, 01:11:06 PM
They are the same, but you shouldn't trust any of them, even if we agree that big sites like poloniex or coinbase are honest and their owners don't intend to run away with the funds the danger of getting hacked is always there.
Any hard/paper/desktop wallet is safer than them, all you need to do is to follow some basic rules and keep your private keys well hidden.
859  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Please test my faucets on: November 03, 2016, 04:57:44 AM
I can confirm that they both work I just claimed from my mobile phone and received the rewards to my faucetbox without any problem,I hope that two captchas and antibot links are enough to stop bots from stealing your BTC.
860  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Bitlox hardware wallet on: November 03, 2016, 03:24:49 AM
It might be good but even after the 50% discount i think it is too expensive.I have a Ledger Nano and I am very satisfied with my choice,if one day I decide to upgrade and spend more on hardwallet wallet I will turn in tested and more trusted options like Nano s and Trezor.
