@Baofeng, I didn't know that. I thought Embiid was all-American.

I did some quick research, and it seems like he has a few nationalities to choose from:

-American
-French
-Cameroonian

Well, he's got the freedom to choose which country he wants to play for, but I get why some folks might be disappointed. I mean, the USA already has an abundance of talent, and Embiid could have been a real asset if he chose to play for France.

Gamblers have given the freedom to say what’s in their mind, and if they think they are being cheated or the casino games have been rigged, they will surely voice out everything to call the attention of the casino. But we also know reputable casinos are smarter enough to manage all these accusations especially if those gamblers are the ones at fault. And I believe before the casino resort into banning this certain gambler, most especially if it’s a long time gambler in their casino, they have researched well already and found out everything the wrong behaviors of the gambler.
843  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Subriel Matias vs. S. Ergashev (IBF jr. welterweight title) Nov. 4: Las Vegas on: October 06, 2023, 03:47:11 PM
~
So very hard to say if they can survived or will be just a one hit champion because of the other great boxers that is in this weight class.

That's true, the other champions would likely challenge the winner of this fight. Currently, Matias is the champion, but I haven't heard from his camp regarding whether he'd like to challenge his fellow champions. There doesn't seem to be much hype in this weight class, I guess.

I'll watch this fight since I'm not very familiar with the champion and his opponent, but the records show that both are very dangerous fighters. Maybe a fighter can easily become popular if they love to create drama and controversies, like what Teo is doing. Well, he had his first surge in popularity when he defeated Loma, but after that, if my memory serves me right, he lost to George Kambosos Jr., and he didn't even accept the defeat.
844  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: KSI v Tommy Fury Misfits Boxing 14th Oct on: October 06, 2023, 02:54:37 PM
KSI has only got one win, and that was against Logan Paul, while Tommy Fury is the one who took down Jake Paul.

It's shaping up to be quite an interesting match, but personally, I think Tommy Fury has the advantage in this one. The
betting odds for this fight make it clear that Fury is the heavy favorite. You know how bookies usually get it right, so it looks like Fury is in a good position to take the win.

845  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lessons of my experience and knowledge about Bitcoin on: October 05, 2023, 08:59:13 PM
Many people say that cryptocurrency has high risks. I think that applies to altcoins. If I look at bitcoin, I think it is quite safe because bitcoin always has value and is the best among others.

It seems like you are quite familiar with bitcoin and that is an expression of experience with bitcoin. I agree with you and bitcoin will always be the best now and forever
Bitcoin is the king and will always be. Those altcoins are just decorations in the crypto market and those who may find them attractive will surely take higher risk from winning their investment. But with bitcoin, you get the assurance to end up with profits as long as you stick to it and maximize long term hodling, which is hard yo achieved with altcoins since they’re nothing but a pump and dump scheme. Although there are established altcoins in the market, but let’s accept the fact that they can never be profitable and secured like bitcoin.
846  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Oguni - October 12 on: October 05, 2023, 02:56:32 PM
Time flies so fast that this Casimero vs Oguni would be happening next week but have not seen odds yet for this fight, hopefully they would cover this early.

There's no betting odds yet on sportsbooks, however, I've seen a website that could give us an idea about the possible betting odds of the fight.

https://champinon.info/schedule/casimero-vs-oguni/#iw-modal

Latest Odds
FavoriteCasimero to win: 1/2
UnderdogOguni to win: 2/1

As we can see, Casimero is a slight favorite with 1.50 odds if converted on decimal, I think it's already worth taking.

Thank you for giving us a picture of what the betting odds could possibly be once they're available. 1.50 is quite attractive already, considering his opponent isn't that popular and doesn't have a better ranking than him. The only worry here is if the fight ends up in a judges' decision because Oguni is fighting on his home court, and you know about the home-court advantage. Additionally, Inoue might not be interested in fighting Casimero if he doesn't win impressively.

I would also help you guys update once the real odds are out, I'm sure it will be out soon since the fight is already a week from now.
847  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A Lady Cried After Losing to Sports Bet. Gambling is Not Your Mate. on: October 05, 2023, 01:55:19 PM
That only shows how immature she is, crying because she lost in gambling makes it look like she wasn't aware of the risks of losing. I mean, that shouldn't hurt her, as both outcomes are normal in gambling, and no gambler wins all the time. That's why it's important to gamble with what you can afford to lose, so if you lose, it will not significantly affect your life. Crying over a loss means it has affected her life, and there might be more problems related to that, such as not having enough money for survival, which is a big challenge.

Gambling does not discriminate based on gender. As long as you are mature and responsible, you should be fine.
848  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you manage greed to place your bet on: October 04, 2023, 09:55:01 PM
Gamblers bet more money because they want the return to be even bigger. They forget that the risk associated with the bet is  also high so in case of a loss they can lose all their money which they put in that single large bet.

The only way to refrain ourself from making this greedy decision of playing with big bets, we can only do is to force ourself to follow the money management plan. Money management plans should be established before we start to gamble and if you follow that strictly then no way we can lose money quickly in gambling.

Everything will depend on the gaming budget. The bottom line is that you must control risk management, and only bet on a certain percentage of your gaming budget, let's say for example, it will be 1% of your gaming budget per bet. Accordingly, if you want to bet a larger amount, then you need to increase your gaming budget. This way, you won’t lose your entire deposit over several bets and will be able to analyze from a distance how successful your bets are. If you lose more than you win, then it may not be worth doing.
You are right in there. If you want to bet bigger, then make sure to increase your budget as well and that will only be possible if you refrain yourself from consistent losing.  Although some successful gamblers have really take some risk to bet high amount for the sake of bigger returns, but not all those who who bet high will end up into making big profits as well. Unfortunately, some end up using all their bankroll amount instead of expecting bigger returns.
849  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you gamble till old age or not on: October 04, 2023, 08:46:09 PM
This is Just like asking if you will work or earn money till old age.
But there is consideration to this question, I would say it depends on two things

1. If I'm profitable and have made enough money from gambling there is a reason to quit even before old age and engage myself in other businesses or may even choose to continue because man never stops to earn money if the business is a profitable one.

2. If I'm not profitable in gambling it most likely I will quit before the dam old age, although I have seen elderly ones in my locality that are still into gambling in their late 70s.

Well, if you stay profitable in gambling till old age, then why bother to stop? You can use that profits to build investments as well, but make sure to always put limits when you are gambling so that your investment profits will never be at risk. However, the problem here is that we can’t guarantee consistent profits from gambling. What is certain is that we will be exposed to more losses than winnings at some point. That is why if you can’t afford to lose anymore when you reach old age, it’s better to just stop gambling and focus on your investment or business that will surely give you passive income.
850  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino is a Games of Chance and Entertainment on: October 02, 2023, 03:20:51 PM
The vast majority of the games are chance based. The few exceptions where you could make an argument about skill being involved would be poker and sports betting. Luck still playes a huge factor in those aswell but at least skill/knowledge has some role to play in predicting it correctly.
Yes, even for those skill-based games, luck is still essential on part of the gambler so he can assure himself that he’ll eventually win and earn some profits. But in all of these types of games, the main point here is to make us entertained even if we are at loss. Unfortunately, majority of the gamblers only get entertained when they are earning as well. It’s fun when you are gambling but it’s actually more fun when you are not consistently losing.
851  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - November on: October 02, 2023, 11:30:53 AM
Inoue should focus first on Marlon Tapales, although we wanted to support him as a big underdog, but we really haven't seen a boxer close to defeat Inoue. Only Nonito was able to almost beat Inoue in their first encounter, very close fight and Donaire broke Inoue's orbital bone. But after that, Inoue level up and knockout everyone he fights, including a rematch with the Filipino Flash.

Nonito Donaire Jr. is the reason why Naoya Inoue puts up more intense training on his regime.

It's the first time in Inoue's career that he suffered a serious injury after his fight and that was because of Donaire. Prime vs. Prime, Donaire might crash Inoue but it now remains speculation forever since unfortunately, they weren't able to meet at the right time.

Inoue vs. Tapales - even my support will go to Tapales, I do not see him winning against the prime Inoue, really sorry to say that. No one in the Bantamweight or Superbantamweight is close to Inoue's strength right now even those who are in the top rankings in that division.

i am not seeing upset to be happening on this match as well. so if you gonna place a bet on this match, better look for other betting lines because inoue is highly favourite on this upcoming fight.
it may very well go under 7.5 and the fight won't go the distance. check the odds which will give you better profits. you can also look the odds for the winning method on this match.

I guess we all agree that Tapales is unlikely to win. Inoue is on a different level as a boxer, and he consistently outclasses his opponents, often resulting in one-sided beatdowns. This trend has continued after his tough competition against Donaire. As Inoue gains more recognition, his camp is focused on ensuring impressive wins every time he fights. So, despite Tapales being our very own, it's hard to be biased when we see who the obvious better fighter is.

The fight could end in less than 6 rounds if Tapales decides to challenge Inoue's power by fighting toe to toe or engaging in his counter-punching style.

Therefore, I would predict the fight to end in 6 rounds or less.
852  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: October 02, 2023, 10:54:39 AM
By looking at how the game currently flow it shows that they can cover that spread Philippines is now leading at 39 big points and it seems that Qatar doesn't have enough fire power since they miss a lot of their shots. This is easiest game of Philippines and now we can clearly see them win against Qatar. Those who bet with side of Philippines can assure their win now so I guess its safe to say congratulations now since I don't believe that Qatar could able to catch up with the big lead got by Philippines. Philippines next opponent will is a tough one so let see if they could able to bring this overwhelming win and defeat their next opponent to compete for silver or gold medal.

Lost my bet here, i underestimated the Gilas against Qatar too much but it is okay, no regrets and the good thing is that they will advance now into the quarterfinals against the Team B of Iran which i think a very competitive team and can give Gilas a good fight.

The bad news perhaps on this groupings is that Gilas will face China if ever they will succeed in defeating Iran in the quarterfinals. China is the favorite to win the Gold here so i think we will only fighting for the bronze.

Huge win by the Philippines! After an embarrassing defeat against Jordan, they bounced back with a very dominant win. I guess the next game will be so exciting if they face Iran. Iran has been one of the toughest opponents for Gilas in the past, especially when Haddadi was still playing. However, I think they are still a good team, so hopefully, this will be a close game, not a game where Gilas will win or lose by a huge margin.

As for the game against China, that's a different story. I believe we would really struggle big time. But let's take it one step at a time, and with that said, let's start by winning against Iran.
853  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and gambling which one has done you more harm on: October 01, 2023, 09:58:58 PM
Bitcoin is just a tool but gambling is a course of action that once you did it without caution, it will always bring you harm and make your life miserable. But gambling isn't always as it is, like putting a negative impression on it because it make us doomed due to losses. On the other hand, it will also make you instantly profitable and become  rich in the process, only if you gamble responsibly and you know when to gamble and when to stop to. If you think you are losing frequently, then take time for a short break and just gamble again when you're ready to take the risk again.
854  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Violence and anger could be a sign of gambling addiction in youths on: October 01, 2023, 09:10:42 PM
When gambling addiction hits you hard, your behavior as a son or as a brother might somehow be put at a risk especially if you keep on betting and spend huge amount, and yet you are still not seeing any decent winnings. So instead of hating the gambling site, your anger might be pass to your family members who have no idea at all why you’re acting so strange and wild. This kind of situation is not new anymore, as greed will be the center of your life so the empathy and care that your family needs will be out of the picture already. And you will learned your lesson only once your family decides to leave you for good once the situation becomes worst.
855  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ban from a Casino for Nothing Other Than Winning Too Much Money on: October 01, 2023, 10:33:21 AM
I think the key word here is .."high-stakes gambling habits" .... and that is a reputational risk for them, if Dana White continue that behavior and then get addicted to gambling. You do not want to be the casino that gets the bad reputation that you allowed a potential gambling addict to gamble at your casino.

"White revealed that he was banned from the Palms Casino after winning $1.6 million on a single night. It is worth noting that the Palms resort and casino is now owned by the former owners of the UFC, the Fertitta brothers, which has enabled White to gamble at the Palms again." - Source : https://www.sportskeeda.com/mma/news-my-anxiety-s-roof-joe-rogan-breaks-silence-viral-gambling-video-dana-white-losing-600-grand-blackjack

Who cares about a gambler getting addicted? Casinos implementing bans on users is like going against their main purpose, which is to generate money. In the article, it wasn't mention that he lost money; it's the opposite. He is into high-stakes gambling, as evidenced by winning millions of dollars in his gambling sessions. I don't want to speculate a lot, but according to my own understanding, casinos will likely ban gamblers if they are taking too much of the profits, and I think that's the case here.

They are protecting themselves.
856  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: October 01, 2023, 09:39:05 AM
I’m seeing reports that Blake Griffin is considering retirement.

If Griffin ends his career in the NBA, it would be an expected decision, as he's already too far away from his prime based on his stats from last season. However, as far as I know, the Celtics are still interested in re-signing him for one more season. So, I think Griffin should take advantage of this opportunity to earn at least a couple more million dollars.

Yeah, why not grab that opportunity for at least a year and see how it goes for him. Still added bonus for him even if he is not given enough time, maybe his presence as a veteran or a reliever for the PF to sometimes Center might be good enough for him.
Paul is also playing on a championship contender team, so if their teams are good enough to make it to the NBA Finals, one of them will certainly win their first championship. Griffin played 13 MPG last season with the Celtics, but his output was very low with only 4.1 points, and what's notable is his rebounding is not good.

Not sure though if Clippers will hang up his jersey when he retires, but man when we see him during his prime with the Lob City with CP3 anchoring everything, it's so mesmerizing. And the poster dunks he did as well with the big man that time.
They should because he played with the team for 9 seasons, averaging 20+ points per game. Also, the Clippers were popular during that time because of their high-flying offense; CP3 and he formed a great tandem together.

He played with the Detroit Pistons after the Clippers, and his production was still good, but he was really well known when he was with the Clippers.
857  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If you had AI day trade bitcoin to make profits on: September 30, 2023, 09:58:39 PM
If I actually found a way to use AI to trade bitcoin or whatever cryptocurrency or asset in general effectively, simple — why the heck would I tell anyone? I'd just use whatever method that is and use it heavily until it doesn't work anymore. There's no way that strategy would come out of my mouth.
That's exactly true for most of us. We don't need to advertise using AI if that is really working on our trades, because if we do that, it only sounded that we have intention to scam people and let them believe that it's really working for every trader. The fact that I don't want to be blame later on, that's why I don't see it's necessary to lie that AI can really be safe for our trades.
858  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Has your Responsible Gambling had any of these Effects on You? on: September 30, 2023, 09:32:51 PM
For me, I would say there's actually positive changes on my personality and on my own family that took place when I decided to limit my gambling exposure and just gamble whenever I have spare money. I have saved more of my funds because I come to limit my losses as well, and my bonding with my family has improved because I have more time to spend with them than to focus most of my time chasing some profits in gambling.
859  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will you do if your country did not legalize cryptocurrency? on: September 30, 2023, 08:59:03 PM
Even if your country is not legalizing cryptocurrency, this is not enough reason to lose your hope about building your bitcoin investment most particularly. Continue to keep on accumulating and storing Bitcoin in your portfolio until you find reasonable time to sell that will eventually bring you massive profits. And find some P2P exchanges that you can be trusted to exercise transactions so that your whole investment will not be put in danger.
860  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - November on: September 30, 2023, 01:08:35 PM
^^ It will be huge if suddenly Inoue decided to fight Casimero instead of unifying all the belts against Tapales. However, it will really be a big reason for Inoue to go for Casimero first. There should be somewhat that evoke Inoue, maybe he just want to shut the mouth of Casimero for good or just let Tapales fight for the mandatory first and then see how it goes for Marlon. And then after he disposed of John Riel then they will go after Tapales next. But let's see, I'm also on the side of Inoue vs Tapales happening maybe November-December, or at least this year and then Inoue unifying the belts in the bantamweight/super bantamweight in the modern era so that is another history for the Japanese.
That's just the second option. Inoue has a bigger chance of winning against Tapales than against Casimero, so he would not choose a hard battle with less reward. If he beats Tapales, he will be holding all the belts, and in that position, he can choose to fight any fighter he wants. Maybe Casimero's name will come up, maybe...

Right now, we should remain optimistic that this fight will happen, despite there being some rumors that it might not happen. The longer they prolong this, the more the excitement will die.

I'm saying if it's not possible this year, make it early next year. I think that's reasonable already.
