Walls on both sides of the orderbook. I think we're in a holding pattern until we find out more about when the otc fund starts trading, and how much demand there will be for it. It'll be a good chance to mark the price up ahead of those wanting to get in.
Edit: I think there is a good chance there will be solid demand based on overall professional interest from Wall Steet, anecdotal evidence from Winklevii and the guys @ Bitpay (who trade a with basket of currencies) about hedge funds and investment firms looking to take positions, also high interest in the government auctions.
you sure sound like a pro with remarkable understanding of how markets work, able to catch the slightest whisper coming from the order books. but "professional interest from Wall St" and penny stock trading in one post? It won't come all at once. Plenty of penny stocks on the street to trade (and many do). Bitcoin still has a few years to reach any sort of market maturity. There was a podcast recently with whats-his-face from Bitpay. Tony Gallippi. He insinuated that multiple hedge funds had approached him to take positions. This is when they would do it--during down markets in secret. Of course they don't want the general public knowing about it because they need someone to sell to in the future big hedge fund secretly approached a guy and took positions nobody is aware of. well, fuck me, I better buy this.

"high volume" seems to be the word of the day.
china bought tens of thousands and we moved like +10 Chia money.
that buying support at bitfinex is laughable.
and yes this was the short squeeze. I feel sorry for that guy who closed it all the way to 255.
a few hundred shorts closing a squeeze stronger hands took over those shorts like instantly. i sincerely hope they are strong and sturben hands maybe they can double down on there sure bet at 275 then get fucked at 350

bears bulls are overly confident, wasting a lot of ammo trying to stop the take off stay above 250.
ftfy too many bag holders, we are going nowhere, sorry. another fakeout.

swap market is controlled by early adopters/bulls. that's the reason why you need really big effort in order to squeeze them, because they have almost limitless stashes of coins. but wait till some serious wall street money enters the game or some other early adopter exploits this opportunity.

that 2k buy on bitfinex was a shorter who panicked.
thanks dude, great entry point for my new position.
btc you have my permission to crash & burn again.
How do you know? Bfxdata still showing over 23k shorts for me they always lag. besides, it was pretty obvious. I think we can make another leg or two soon just to scare those shorts in the next couple of days.

once all the shorts are in, we should be able to move again.
shorts still increasing, this could take all day... now >21K coins good stuff. And short swap rate increasing, just reached 0.1 Wow, big spike. Good - let's clear these shorters out and see if there are enough real coins to push the price down anymore.. back to 0.07 %. and again we are close to 24 mil of longs. bulls trying desperately to push this into rally but china is like f uuuuuuuuuuuuu we want dollars.

But what does it MEAN!? Something is brewing for sure this time It means that big pocket long leverages are going up while the price is down right now. no. "big pocket long leverages" does not mean that those pockets are full of cash. they just got a lot of (cheap) coins. big difference. they are probably adding more coins to maintain their positions. AND the price is still not following, so there you get this divergence. this could end in 2 ways. a: they could wire few millions of real cash to other exchanges to push the price up (not happening, order books are really thin) b: those longs will be margin called sooner or later or closed
