841  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FTT Token on: October 27, 2023, 01:04:30 PM
This was FTX's token, right?

I guess that you have already an idea on what's going to be the fate of this token. I'm not sure why it is still getting millions of volume despite the controversy of what the former owner of it has done to their customers.

Are you interested on this token OP? If you are, please make sure that you invest somewhere else your money and you're not going to invest on this token because whether the new management tries to revive it, it's only a matter of time until it's forgotten and will be out of the market.
842  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Delisted/Inactive Coins from Exchange on: October 26, 2023, 11:14:18 PM
I think, I've read it somewhere when someone says that the entire market will be consolidated or will be left with real ones.

These delistings and number of inactive coins in the market is actually a good sign that the exchanges are becoming choosy and they're only remaining the likely good ones or mostly, the ones that are in demand.

I want to see more of these delistings so that there will be lesser altcoins on the exchanges that they support. The lesser the altcoins in demand, the better IMHO.
843  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the need to be known a requirement to qualify for a loan(s)? on: October 26, 2023, 10:05:38 PM
They have to make it clear to know who they are after to. That's okay if the banks are too strict on whom they're granting the loan requests. Because if they are not strict and they just grant everyone's request, they may soon file for bankruptcy.

But I think that as long as you have provided all the requirements needed and you can proof that you're a paying customer, they will consider as well those that are not known in their communities.

Wherever you go, when the loaner doesn't see you capable of paying and don't know how to charge you, you'll just declined.
844  Economy / Gambling / Re: BK8 - Biggest and Most Trusted Brand. Asia's #1 Crypto online casino BTC & USDT on: October 26, 2023, 01:35:37 PM
This is to minimize errors in providing programs and benefits to users. And this applies not only to casinos, but to all companies.
I guess BK8 and other casinos don't really want to ask their customers to go through with KYC but with legality speaking and all points mentioned by you guys are on point. I'm not here to disagree or argue and I'd agree with most things that you've said.

As much as they want all of us not go through with it, they have no option too since they're a registered trademark and they're just following laws where they operate and at same time, it's a pressure on them as well.

And with the quote of what masulum said, IMO that's what we can think of one of the good things why it's required on their end. To determine whom they're going to send offers, bonuses, etc. specifically based on the data that's sent to them by their users.
845  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: He Used Our Wedding Savings to Play Bet on: October 26, 2023, 11:19:02 AM
Betting with savings money is wrong I agree with it.

But every story has two different sides we we can't come to any conclusion about whether her choice is right or wrong with her partner but he may have his reasons for such actions too is there any information about the results of the bet or its assumption of complete loss that is why she did this?
It's wrong in all aspects because the money that's gambled is not just his money but also her money. And there's a reason why they're saving up that money and that's for their most awaited union, their marriage.

On this case, we don't need any other side of the story that will come from the guy. The obvious matter has been said that he has spent their savings for the wedding and it shouldn't be tolerated.

Let us say that he has his reason doing that, and that's to gamble and nothing more or less. Sad on her side but better decision will come for her after this.
846  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Noticeable New altcoins that launched in 2022 and 2023 on: October 26, 2023, 09:52:48 AM
I can't say if this can be considered but one noticeable launched through airdrop was Optimism as well. It has made a noise last year when its airdrop was released to the public and that was their governance token.

So, it's Arbitrum and Optimism that I can remember that has been notable for their launching. Anyway, if you want to analyze the newly launched coins you may go through the list of new altcoins listed on coinmarketcap and coingecko but check it out if they really have been released for this year.

847  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What is the current meta on uniswap?? on: October 25, 2023, 11:05:36 PM
Try to lessen the image size of that logo. I am not familiar with that logo and can you give an idea on what project is that?

I'm going to update thier announcement soon, but there's a little twist, if the community wants to know, ask this guy on telegram @Justinpump I just sent him a message.
Why not just do it on this thread so that everyone doesn't have to go through with that guy. And since you've messaged him already, why not share what he has told you about such announcements or what's with that logo?

LOL, I'm curious to know but I won't go there and message him.
848  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Maybe I should have taken this risk earlier. on: October 25, 2023, 09:36:33 PM
This isn't a new story that we see in the community. Someone who's got some things to do and has to spend his money for that important matter but then regrets when he/she sees the price fluctuates positively for Bitcoin.

They think that it's risk free just because they see it going up. That's not the case because what if all of these fluctuations are negatively happening and you are not yet invested on Bitcoin, what would you feel? You still want to invest or you'll say thank goodness that you are not yet invested and the market seems to be bloody?

When you think of wanting to invest, you'll do something about it and that money you'll use shall be like a marked money to your mind that you're willing to lose. That's how investments are and you'll never know if they'll be good to you or not.
849  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: October 25, 2023, 01:12:52 PM
This happens when the main player is more of a team player rather than focusing on his own offense. The Nuggets had a well-balanced game earlier. They shot 52.7% from the field and made 41.2% of their threes. And while it is a difficult task already to stop Jokic, he's surrounded by deadly shooters who are also capable of leading the team in offense.

Nice games and results today. After having bad weeks on my DOTA 2 betting, I finally had a great start on my NBA bets. A lot of games tomorrow. I'll be keeping an eye on the most exciting ones. We have the chance to see the new Boston Celtics as they visit the Knicks at MSG. Marcus Smart will start in Memphis as Ja Morant is still serving his suspension and it will be very interesting when they face the Pelicans where Zion is back. Wembanyama has been making headlines for a while now so most fans won't miss his first regular season game as they host Luka Doncic and the Mavericks.
Jokic really has taken the heart of everybody. Even before that he's not yet an NBA champ, he's already getting the spotlight but it seems that the NBA itself has their own players to market and it's not him.

Nuggets is a well balanced team and they had no superstar role as they seem to have respect for the role of each other. And congrats to your bets.

They stay as intact as it can be. The performances are a base from how they established that chemistry. Everyone serves their purposes
while inside the court.

Much easy for the starters to play along with everyone they've got while doing the same system and executing the same plays. Look how both Jokic
and Jamal provides for the team.

And together with everyone, they show balance productions from both sides offense and defense.
Yeah, that's it, the chemistry that they've built overtime is what made them a strong team. I can still remember last season when they're not the favorites but they've broken the odds and received a lot of love from the fans.

Everyone on this team can adjust and can play with everybody and that's a great skill and showcase for the entire team.
850  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: October 25, 2023, 11:48:04 AM
It's still too early, I'm sure other teams are already making strategies to beat the Nuggets. The thing is, it's not just Jokic doing all the heavy lifting anymore. If they can somehow contain him, his buddies are ready to step up and make things happen.

I mean, look at this game, it's not just a one-man show. All the starters are hitting double digits, and even the bench players are chipping in. That's some impressive production right there.

1-Jokic 29
2- Gordon - 15
3- Porter Jr. - 12
4 - K. Caldwell-Pope - 20
5- Murray -21
Although it can be said that this is just the start of the season but every beginning is where the motivation comes from and with this start from the Nuggets. I am sure that many teams are learning to beat them.

They're still the best contender to be prepared for by every team on the NBA. Those stats and performance that they've just shown is amazing.

While some probably are thinking about focusing on stopping Jokic but with these stats, this is telling them that they're also part of the team and they shouldn't be ignored.
851  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Centralised exchange getting better than Decentralised exchange? on: October 25, 2023, 10:19:16 AM
For CEX:

Security is reliable if you choose the right exchange.
If there's one thing that I've learned from all of the exchanges, it is that none of them are safe. What I mean by that? It's always that all of them are being targeted by attackers and that means to say that even if they've got a reliable security but once they lack update and the attackers see a backdoor, that reliability is gone. We've seen it many times in the past from these known centralized exchanges.

You're less susceptible to phishing scams, especially when using a secure wallet.
Centralized exchanges have the same type of wallets and that's their own wallets. And in fact, they're one of the most targeted websites when it's about phishing links.

Because many users aren't securing themselves and don't know how to do that.
852  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ETF $IBTC REMOVED IN DTCC WEBSITE!! MANIPULATION COMING OUT? on: October 24, 2023, 06:51:21 PM
They have to slow it down because the pump could have been bigger if they don't do that. Are we going to see another intern that had made a mistake on this one?

Maybe no.

But if so, this really is manipulation that we're seeing and they know that they can do that on this time and people are just waiting for more basis for them to buy more Bitcoin.

I think that addition of ticker was already a sign of pre-approval and it's going to take lesser time than expected for it to get the actual approval that it needs.
853  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Gambling Generally An Illicit Activity? on: October 24, 2023, 01:36:59 PM
If it's about money laundering, it just so happen that groups or organizations that does it have seen the potential on it and they can literally do it through the casinos and gambling itself.

That's why they've abused that use of gambling and casinos for that illegal activity such as money laundering. The governments are aware of this but they can't ignore the fact that there's a huge taxation that comes from gambling and legal casinos.

Therefore, there's a due process for those suspected people that uses casinos for money laundering but how often do we get some litigations through it when there's huge money that can stop those and let them just do it?
854  Economy / Economics / Re: What does being rich mean in your perspective? on: October 24, 2023, 11:22:57 AM
It's one of question which differs from person to person. How do you define richness?
I have been seeing quotes about being rich and being wealthy. While being rich can make you have that financial freedom but they say that it's not for so long and it's just all about money.

And being wealthy should be the goal of many because it's for long term growth and financial freedom and your wealth can be grown over the period of time without you have the need to work.

Anyway, in all sums up with the common denominator of what being rich and wealthy is and it's all about having lots of money.
855  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: October 24, 2023, 08:50:28 AM
True, Wemby is flexible. He can shoot he can drive and I was actually shocked he can also crossover, it's going to be difficult for any defensive coach to handle this man because of his different offensive weapons. I think all he needs is more experience so he can use those skills for hesitation moves. Unpredictability will always be a good weapon too for a NBA player to be successful in his career. Polishing all those abilities will be the work of San Antonio Spurs trainers.
He's got a long reach and those blocks on the air were truly incredible. That defense and offense stats that he's going to contribute for the Spurs is going to be one big thing for the team.

Just more time in the league and experience and he'll be like an unbeatable foe for most of the teams and its superstars.

He's still got a lot to go but the kid's potential is seriously making the attention already and we'll see more during this actual start of the season.
856  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Market warms up, what altcoins can help me rich? on: October 24, 2023, 07:42:17 AM
I read some Twitter users with big followers that cryptocurrency market is going to be bullish.
They always say the same thing every after the bear market.

Bitcoin halving will come in 2024.

Bitcoin will have a big bull run in 2024.
Halving is right and every after the halving, the bull run is anticipated but it's not giving assurance that it will also start immediately by 2024 too.

What altcoins can help me rich in 2024 and 2025?

Any idea?
I'll say only one thing, be careful of shills and meme coins that will be suggested to you.
857  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fake casino streamers! Why such streamers are very popular? on: October 23, 2023, 11:13:33 PM
~
AFAIK, there have been some news about Twitch banning some gambling contents but I can't remember if that's only for specific websites they promote.

But most of the casino streamers have their own sponsorships and that's why they do that on certain platforms to give exposure to their community where they are gambling.

While some casino streamers just doing it for their own pleasure and there's no brand deals that are on it and they're just the casual type of gamblers.
It was using casino affiliate links itself and stuff similar to that. Streaming about gambling in general is still allowed afaik.
Oh, thanks mate.

I thought that the news was about banning them stream casino related stuff but if it's the affiliated links then that's still fine because they can continue streaming.

Maybe they have some other tactics on how they're going to spread that affiliate for their own commission and tracking.
858  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fake casino streamers! Why such streamers are very popular? on: October 23, 2023, 10:09:47 PM
I came across a very interesting article about fake streamers https://www.ltccasino.com/fake-streamers-exposed

Some facts and arguments struck me as very curious. I had never really thought about why nowadays the Twitch and Kick platforms have become so full of people streaming online casinos there.

Having little experience playing at online casinos, I can't be sure that everything written in this article is true. What do you think about it?

It's very interesting to hear the opinion of experienced players and people who are versed in this subject.

859  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: More secure ways of storing bitcoin? on: October 23, 2023, 08:50:44 PM
Well, I also feel like what you've said.

Even if someone says that one shouldn't keep your balances on exchanges, you may see them have some of their stash deposited there for whatever purpose they are doing. Like in interest accounts and earns passively there but they know the risk I guess.

So wherever you're keeping them, you're aware of the risk that you're taking upon keeping it on exchanges. It's not just the newbies that does it and yes also likely the ones that suggests don't keep it there.

Many people also say to stay away from centralized exchanges and only use decentralized exchanges and I don't believe what they say either. I have the feeling that many people are trying to lie to please someone to gain merit rather than telling the truth. It is true that people do not store bitcoins on centralized exchanges because everyone is aware of its risks. But those who say they do not use and do not have any accounts on centralized exchanges are blatantly lying. I bet you that people who say so are also secretly using them because they are almost a necessity in the market and that is why CEX still exists in the market.
We all use exchanges but it's a different matter when someone keeps their assets on exchanges and that's what we need to avoid.

For the sake of our Bitcoin's safety, someone probably are keeping all of his assets on a hardware wallet which is the known better storage. And there can be some that keeps only their Bitcoin and yet, most of his alts are left on exchanges for quicker liquidity.

It's okay to use them and you know the risk that you take whenever you leave huge amounts there.
860  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A Lady Cried After Losing to Sports Bet. Gambling is Not Your Mate. on: October 23, 2023, 01:59:18 PM
For most of those gamblers that can't do that, they will struggle on that part of moving on. That's even still a painful thing for them because even if they have accepted the fate of their money and lost.

True and the main reason why a gambler can't move on is due to greed.  They don't want to end at a loss and wanted to recover and at the same time get a big time revenge win which make them hook wagering and betting until they found themselves addicted to gambling.
Remove greediness and you'll be fine to accept whatever outcome with your bets.

You'll have lighter feelings on it and you're okay to the outcomes that you'll have. And the understanding of gambling that it's not always a winning day, you'll easily accept that it's the reality.

Exerting time and effort for recovering losses and what you say revenge, you're just likely to spend your efforts there useless because if greed is still there, you'll still end up with bad results.
