841  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC at $1,000 by Christmas? on: December 17, 2016, 12:30:33 PM
just one more week until Christmas... dont think we will reach $1k.... $800 maybe....
Yes, I think so, only one week not could probably could reach $1,000. It looks like this will occur in 2017, however this is a good time to buy a bitcoin, I'm sure the price will continue go up.

I'm losing my hope now that the price of bitcoin will reach $1,000 before the Christmas eve. So my another hope is to accept the fact that bitcoin is possible to reach $800 before the end of the year. And let's just hope for the next year to come that bitcoin is going to reach that $1,000 mark.

It could happen overnight, though if it is going to happen at all, it will likely take more time than that. Some two months ago the price had risen from $600 to over $700 in just a few weeks, so the prices of either $900 or $1,000 wouldn't be something out of the ordinary. That said, we should still be glad if the price just reaches the $800 level by the New Year, then we could hope that in the new year it will finally take the $1,000 barrier.

But we have now only almost a week before the Christmas day come. No more hopes for $1,000 and now its better to aim something lower than that is more acceptable and yes $800 is. And the price now is, $786. $14 dollars more before it reaches and we have still ample time that it is going to happen before Christmas day.

800 is realistic price for Xmas for the moment don't think it will be over or near 1000 by Xmas no way it can happen in just one week
in just 2 weeks to be exact. I do agree, now we are on 800 so it is really achievement the prices getting higher and higher! Well 1k is very impossible in just 2 weeks it will stay at the line of 8 by the end of the year. Well we cant really predict if that will happen that it will be in 1k by the end so lets just watch/
842  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Halving Party 2016 on: December 17, 2016, 12:26:30 PM
I think every four years we will see a little rise in the price as we saw bitcoin go from 250 bucks to 800 then gone back to 600, so we can perhaps see a new floor every 4 years at least, so we can say it's like saving gold for long term savers I guess. Only though if more and more people use bitcoin we will see a greater rise in price.

The price would surely rise higher as the coins are limited and the demand will be unlimited if the community continues to increase like this, because we can see that the people are coming to a large extent towards bitcoin while the quantity of bitcoins are same from starting till now, so the more the demand increases the price will follow it.

I do agree the demand rises the price also follow and rises! Well we know that now there are lot of users coming and learning and using bitcoin thats why the demand is getting higher and higher while the supply is the same and it is just distributed all over the users.
843  Economy / Economics / Re: Passive Income on: December 17, 2016, 11:46:43 AM

Trading is not passive income. It's a risk job. Passive income is something you invest some money and earn by doing nothing. As neochiny said, trading requires fairly constant supervision, regular monitoring of the markets, and I would add luck. Yes, sometimes it's necessary luck to make profit, because the future price of coins is unpredictable.
I'm sometimes laughed so hard that people actually never know the meaning of passive income an just typing even with low knowledge. maybe they don't bother to use google search because all is already inside their mind. as you said that passive income is not working even monitoring for the sake to keep profit but the money will working for you. you just need to let it work and you can earn profit.

Unless you are going to work for your money and that is going to be in return that your money will work for you. Passive income is sometime that you have on a regular basis and there are traders who are professional in that industry that are actually earning on a daily basis.

You should work for your money first before it returns to you. As of now it is very difficult to earn money if you dont exert effort and if you are very lazy then good luck in earning money. Well passive income is very difficult as long as you have a business and you are manager of it but it is not really passive because you are working on it.
844  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you Still believe in Fiat? on: December 17, 2016, 11:42:17 AM
I do not believe in fiat. It is very prone to inflation and to keep their savings in Fiat's very dangerous and unprofitable. My choice - Bitcoin
You can't say that you don't believe in fiat just because it's hard to save that. If you can't save your money it's your fault. Not a fault of that currency..
And you can't deny this you are not using fiat and only using Bitcoin. Because it is still not possible to live with only Bitcoin.

That's true, right now living only with bitcoin is not at all possible, because the acceptance and bitcoin users were very low compared to the fiat usage. The problem is not with the fiat but his money management, which is not perfect.
You got that right dude. As for now, fiat would still be the main unit of currency that people use whether we agree to it or not. Also, who said that bitcoin is also not prone to inflation? It's good that we have savings through bitcoin but definitely we can't live in today's world without fiat. Not yet that is.

Definitely!  Just imagine a scenario where you don't have any fiat money, and just bitcoin and you are in the middle of an area without a bank.  Can you buy your food with your bitcoin if the people around you have no knowledge  about bitcoin?  It is kinda sad but it is the fact.  No matter how good or how expensive bitcoin compare to the local currency, you cannot buy anything if the merchant does not know what bitcoin is.

I do agree on you dude. No matter how expennsive the value of bitcoin in the market if you give your 1 bitcoin to merchant that has not know what is bitcoin it is very useless to that person it is really useless thing so fiat in the end is better because that is the means of payment all over the world and they recognizes it .
845  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ATM on: December 17, 2016, 11:35:52 AM
Here in Philippines we only have one bitcoin ATM at the moment. The bitcoin ATM here in Philippines is only located in our country's capital, Manila. Having one bitcoin ATM for me here is enough since we can all easily convert bitcoin into fiat via coins.ph web wallet app or rebit.ph service which are trusted by many of the bitcoiners here in Philippines. It will also save money if we use these services to convert our bitcoin into fiat than using bitcoin ATM.

Every country has got one or two Bitcoin ATM. I'm surprised to know this, though the people using bitcoin is quite low the spreading can be done through such services. Also recently while reading about bitcoin's existence came through a point that 800 bitcoin ATM's were functioning around the globe. If that's true which country has got large number of bitcoin ATM's.
We dont have any idea on which country does have the most number of bitcoin atm machines but i would say that they are placed on the most bitcoin friendly countries on which adoption is very high.In my country i guess it does have only 1 bitcoin atm machine which is being placed on the capital region.

Well you are lucky that you do have bitcoin atm in your country although it is only one. Here in our country i havent heard any bitcoin atm in our country its because we are in third world country thats why and not all of the people here in our country know bitcoin and we know that bitcoin is not reallyy famous but we know that in other country that they adopt bitcoin they have a lot of bitcoin atm and stores that accepts bitcoin as payment
846  Economy / Economics / Re: What will happen if we use a one currency only? on: December 17, 2016, 11:31:12 AM
One currency system is not possible other than digital transaction, because each country has its economy based upon currency value. When ever country starts using a single currency the economy of country gets affected based upon the holding of currency. In such instance small countries gets much affected and storing of black money will be easier.
That's right. the wealth country with many natural resource could reserve the big percentage of the money thus they got profit when the value is increased.the rest countries which are poor will only have a little percentage of those money so they will remain to be poor forever. one currency looks good but not possible if this world want to annihilate the poverty

Never this will not happen. Each country has its own currency and it is one of the hallmarks of statehood. I have too much to break the economies of all countries, to introduce a single currency

I do agree on your each country has its own currency and their currency stands for something about their place their history and all about their country. So it has a sentimental value. But lets try to think if there are only one currency then sort of traders/ exchangers of money couldnt earn profits from it because one single money is equivalent to all over the world of its value
847  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Highest profit on Bitcoin Gambling? on: December 17, 2016, 11:26:53 AM
What is the amount of highest win/profit in the history of Bitcoin Gambling? Do you guys have any idea?

I really don't know what was the biggest win or profit has made in the history of bitcoin gambling but I've only seen a probably one of the biggest loss in the history with a total of 216 btc I don't know if it can be on the list of biggest lost in the gambling history because I know that there will be a much bigger than that but for me that was a really big loss .

This is huge, I didn't know about this. 4000 bitcoins, congratulations to him if this is true. He posted a pictures and and I can't imagine this kind of win.
I receive notifications from btcstarz, yesterday someone won 29 btc, that is also nice amount but not even close to this guy win.
My biggest win is 1.1 btc on slots, but since that I never get close to 1 btc.

wow that really big one! I cant really imagine that there is someone winning that big amount of bitcoin and if it is true then i would really be amazed! that is a big  amount of bitcoin! As my self i havent won as much 0.001 btc. hahaha because im not a hardcore player in slot or dice games thats why.
848  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would you do with your winnings? on: December 13, 2016, 12:34:19 PM
To me if i win in gambling i just save the 25% of winning amount and %75 i'll treat my self in my family just to feel the winning profit.. because if you just saving it and gamble it again in the next you are playing you will not feel your winning amount.. you are just same feeling with lose..
So for me if i treat my family and use it to buy something i can consider it as im win..

So you're talking about winning the jackpot? Then you treat your family? I think that's a good idea on what you would do from a big win. Enjoying it with your family is good. Do you let them know where your money came from?
Even not a jackpot i am not just betting a small amount i am betting a large amount which is if  i win i can treat my family or myself  just to feel that i am win a profit.. because if we are just gamble like i said and hold your profit and play it another day and lose its nothing..
So i always decided to treat myself or my family that i can consider it as win..

Well betting big then if you win that round then we could say that you could earn a ton of profit that could treat yyou and your family but betting small it is very difficult to earn a ton of profit it takes time but the problem of bigger bets is that if you loose then you loose big but that is gambling so you should bet what you can afford to loose.
849  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why I use Bitcoin ??? on: December 13, 2016, 12:24:55 PM
I think you are new to the world of Bitcoins. The question should be why you should not use Bitcoins and where you cannot use Bitcoins. It's everywhere mate. In my country starting from as small as mobile talk time, you can even buy home appliances and have transactions with anyone in just a click. So that's it I use Bitcoins coz it's everywhere.  Smiley
Its everywhere if you are on a country on which bitcoin adoption is high already but for those countries do have only small users of bitcoin and the adoption is too low to consider they would hardly spend their bitcoins directly and they would really need to exchange it anytime to fiat before they can use it. I use bitcoin since its a money and does have value and we all know that money could buy anything.

Totally agree. But if you see the advantages of bitcoins over Fiat then you will know how much better it is to use bitcoins rather than fiat. Of course, you need to exchange when you want your bitcoins to be used in local stores in many countries. But you can always buy things online. Bitcoin is accepted in many websites and another thing is it is very much profitable when you earn in Bitcoins coz it's gradually increasing its value and you can earn much more.  Smiley

I do agree on you if we are talking about online stores we could say that we could pay bitcoin on that store but as of now locally only few accepts bitcoin as payment so indeed if we are talking about real life fiat is best because it is acceptable in all stores but in online it is also acceptable but it takes time to process unlike bitcoin it is easy and fast
850  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with lost bitcoins on: December 13, 2016, 12:22:11 PM
What can I do with my lost bitcoins? Nothing, because it disappear quickly so I will start a new one then I wouldn't do the same as my past. I learned from my past so I will be more careful with my new bitcoins. I will do double time to earn more bitcoins then I will use it         in good not for gambling.

Someone would obviously not be able to do anything with his lost bitcoins, so they have to be careful before losing them that they don't lose them anywhere because once they are lost then they can only try earning more but cannot get the lost ones.
Thats right you need to be careful in using your bitcoins because if you loose your bitcoin it aint go back to you It will disappear on an edge.
if you send it to wrong address and if someone notices that your bitcoin is sent wrong , It can go back into your wallet if you sent it to a good person

I do agree if you send you bitcoin into wrong wallet and then that person generous then he/she could send it back to you but the problem is that if there is still person like that one? As my self im very careful in sending big amount of bitcoins because i know 1 mistakes makes me cry. So be careful on sending
851  Economy / Economics / Re: Should I believe in Bitcoin ? on: December 12, 2016, 01:51:35 PM
Well, until now I still believe bitcoin, but, I do not have much time to look for it at this time. but, lately I have free time, so I could come back looking for bitcoin. Well, I'm just surprised to see the price of bitcoin is very high at this time. bitcoin I hope that the price will reach $ 1,000 by year-end

nothing's impossible as we can see, the price increase is continuously approaching maybe it will not happen at the end of the but we see some changes after the year started it is almost 2017 but bitcoin still on $700 dollars so I think it will increase again in a few more couple of months let's just hope .
Yes I also hope so, it is expected that the price of bitcoin will cross the 1000 USD level, before starting of 2017, but we can see that the price of bitcoin is still trading below $770 in one sense the gradual increase in the price of bitcoin is good as it will lost for a long time because bitcoin is becoming more and more mature. So, I also expect some more increase in the price of bitcoin in starting of new year.
It is hard for Bitcoin to reach $1000. I expect more things will happen after the new year eve since Chinese investors may put more money into Bitcoin and mining system. We can not deny the impacts which Chinese has brought to Bitcoin. The majority of mining pool is located in China and right now, anything influences the China ecosystem, it will also affect Bitcoin. I believe Bitcoin price will drop before the New Year eve and rise significantly after it
They do help to make the price increase and that will continue to happen in the future, the fact that they have proven investing in bitcoin is very profitable they will continue doing the same thing until such time more people will be coming in due to the attractive price of bitcoin.

$1,000 would be easy if the price will continue to increase even slowly but constant.

We could reach that price sooner or later because i could say now that we are increasing. The demand of bitcoin is increasing thats why the price is getting higher Cheesy . Well we hope that it will be constant so that we as bitcoin user could earn more and we know that price has a big impact to us because bitcoin help us in our daily needs.
852  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Will Kill The Income Tax on: December 12, 2016, 01:47:22 PM
I think tax can never be evaded because tax is the main source of governent to maintain and give salaries to government employers who helps to governs an entire country. Maybe bitcoin cannot imposed with tax but government will find a way. They will surely make a law to regulate the use of bitcoin. If they cannot regulate it, they will ban it.
Evasion of taxes and imposing taxes on bitcoin could be possible only by volunteer acceptance of a bitcoin user.

But holding bitcoin in our wallet is nothing but we are owning some property but in digital format. For owning property we never need to pay taxes, but only when we are going to use them/ sell them. I strongly believe this will be applicable for the case of bitcoin as bitcoin is also viewed as a digital asset.
possible. That is the reason people are viewing adopting bitcoin may kill collecting taxes and the governments. How many people will come forward themselves to pay taxes when they are using bitcoin. I doubt only very few people. So, in my opinion governments are going to face very big challenges in upcoming days.
Maybe the more people who adopt with bitcoins the more the government will be losing tax income, it's a haven for us who wants to hide our real income and hope the government will not be strict on us now in the near future so we could continue to maximize our income.

Nope! I dont thinks so because as of now bitcoin is not their jurisdiction well if they put tax on it we all know that they could add it into tax and in their corruptions! Well here in our country we are glad that bitcoin has no tax to we could maximize  our earning so it is reallyy nice and i hope that government will not put tax on it
853  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin be used for Good? on: December 12, 2016, 01:41:39 PM
Bitcoin is like cash you know, it can be use in bad or good, because we, the users are the one who is going to decide where to use it, bitcoin doesn't have a choice, obviously, because it can't speak to argue with it's user if he is going to be use in bad things. It is not new in this world that currencies or cryptocurrencies is using in bad things or illegal things like buying guns, drugs and other illegal stuffs online in the dark markets in the deep web.

Of course, bitcoin is money and it is used as money by everyone, and money is probably used for both good and bad reasons, so it just depends on the user if how he would use it, if he uses for good then it is good, and if he uses it for bad then it becomes bad.
i agree with you that bitcoin can be use as money so anyone can be use money for bad or good activity and you are right its depend on user like many people want to use their money in good activity and many people using their money for bad activity.

You are right. many users are using in good but also there are also peoples that is using bitcoin for illegal activities because of its fast, effecient and anonymous way on sending money. Thats why there are lot of countries banning bitcoin because of that but as of now we could say that there are lot of people using bitcoin for bad things.
854  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Play with your profit or not? on: December 12, 2016, 01:37:36 PM
It depends on the situation ,when I already win doubled of my first money. I withdraw my money and left my winnings for another round of games then will withdraw some if I think its already half or double of my initial then it goes and goes until I reach the limits of winning I set before playing.
So basically you are playing for profit, what you've mentioned is your technique in gambling and we do have different techniques with only one aim which is to win. Actually, we are the only one who can determine if our technique is effective because even if it works to others it might not work to us.
We are in gambling where when aiming for money is not easy but only losing is easy so we better accept it and have fun.

and technically speaking we are the only one who can make a techniques for ourselves when it comes to gambling and these techniques will surely don't work perfectly very often even if it's set by yourself. by the way you are right we are all aiming with only one thing which is actually to win and having fun with gambling is not always prevailed .

All we get in the gambling is something that does not have the nature of luck!! . Because in gambling we must use a strategy and in our strategy should always be required to amend or replace the pattern every time, for if we always use patterns (strategy) that is the same then it's just going to make getting a great loss. You're absolutely right, that a strategy must be done the right way and didn't have to use anything the same. Actually make that strategy easier just that we have to figure out how the gambling game flow

Well as my self we cant figure out the flow of dice games because of its complex algorithm and we know that it is random unless it is really manipulated by someone then you could assure this time that you could won. But as my self ive been long in gambling its just strategy and how it feel. I feel something wrong then i stop.
855  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Keep Anonymous on: December 12, 2016, 01:33:38 PM
Government institutions including FBI will not check your wallet for no reason. They will probably have to have some suspicion that you are performing illegal activities or laundering money.
But in general today is very hard to keep your data anonimous because exchangers and wallet have obligation to report the data to governments if they ask if they want to keep their business legitimate.

I do agree! So fbi could check you wallet anytime so meaning we are not anonymous at all the can track us our transactions over bitcoin. Well at first i know that bitcoin is not really anonymous of what they said. But it is also safe and no need to worry if you haven't done any thing that could break laws then you are good
856  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way for steady income on: December 11, 2016, 02:08:27 PM
Signature campaign is the best way for steady income so far. Because only signcamp that can earn bitcoin up to 0.05 per week and even more. Other service also good, but you need an expert skills to earn steady income for that.
but for most of the people earning from signature campaign is not enough it is the amount with which they can survive only for themself while for supporting a whole family and giving them a better life you also have to adopt another job so that you will earn about 1 bitcoin per month which is not possible with signature campaign alone.
Maybe we are not being too realistic here, please wake up people.. you cannot support your family with signature campaign earnings, it cannot even support my self, try to figure out how much you earn. I do earn like 0.04 a week and that is not a good amount to cater the needs of my family, in fact I am just using it to gamble to have fun online.
Yes, you're right cos signature campaign/ this online bitcoin thing ought to use as another means to earn money. Besides, is not good to stick to one business and expecting to cater for your family with just one business. Therefore, we need to be diversional and speaking steady income it does not mean you have to make million cos it involve a simultaneously income.

You are right you can really earn n signature campaign but it doesn't mean that you can rely to it . You should find a real job in the real world and use this bitcoin/forum to earn more or make it a sideline so that you can use it for further money problems.  Well he good thing is you can earn online as a sideline and also you do have a stable job online.
857  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Gambling vs Real Gambling on: December 11, 2016, 02:03:45 PM
i still prefer online gambling because im not good when its about socializing with other people and it could be the reason i could lose my focus on the game. thats why i still preferred playing gambling online because i could actually focus on the game with out any distractions. and i could waste my money without the comments of anybody because thats my money and i think playing online gambling is more easier than playing real gambling.
Online gambling is more interesting than real gambling you can entertain people with online not like in real gambling you guys need to be more serious and focus on the entire game. And you both are need to analyze the game to know who is the best player. In real gambling theres a lot of fee that you need to pay first before you play not like online no fees free to play.
They are both great, people have different comfort zone when it comes to gambling, some does not really want other people to witness that they are gambling so they prefer it online using bitcoin to be anonymous, but there are also people who like to socialize with other people and they gamble in a physical casino.

I agree there are really person wants to gamble and socialize in real world and also there are person want only to do it online not because they are anti social person but because they didn't feel it or they are just ashame of anything. Well not all people are the same so lets just respect it and let them play what they wants Cheesy
858  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin transactions - Slow OR Fast on: December 11, 2016, 01:58:09 PM
bitcoin transaction speed today is very different from the first. Well, this time the speed is somewhat reduced. perhaps it is because more and more users bitcoin.

Bitcoin transactions come through instantly. Not sure why people still mix up transaction speed with the time a transaction needs to get confirmed. The number of users has gone up while the blocks are still capped at 1MB. Pools have to make a decision based on the financial gain. Transactions with the highest fees get included in found blocks, everything else will need to wait for other pools to get picked up.
Because unconfirmed transaction are not accepted in most places. Your balance gets updated once the transaction gets a certain number of confirmations (usually at least one), until then you can't use the service.
An example here could be bitcoin casinos, where you can play only after your transfer has been confirmed and in many cases also manually accepted by someone and added to your current balance.

I understand what you say, but waiting for a confirmation and transaction speed are still different things. Services requiring you to wait for your transactions to confirm is not a problem of the network but more the services themselves. I mostly send out transactions in small amounts, but the receiver sees the coins show up in his wallet instantly. And yes, in some cases certain services or casinos don't show them in your balance, but the coins are sent by the network, and sit in the wallets of the receiver instantly.

well you are right sort of some instances like casinos your deposit really doesn't appear after you send it it requires an minute or hour. Well sending to another wallet is fast unlike that one because it is direct but as of now it is slow and not as fast unlike before. I think there is something wrong in the blockchain but I know they could fix that . But there is no prblem at all because you can receive it later on
859  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Storing of Bitcoins is against Bitcoin. on: December 11, 2016, 01:44:44 PM
Storing of Bitcoins is against Bitcoin.
No one will offer services for Bitcoin.
Spend Your Bitcoins.

You could always do both. Put some round amount in cold wallet and actively use the rest. Biggest problem is not many people have any sort Bitcoin earnings, that's currently the biggest obstacle in BTC adoption and it's use as currency.
This is the best idea and close to what i do. i wait for btc to be at a level that i am happy with and then when it has arrived there i spend.

I have btc i store and btc i spend so i am doing my bit for btc and the coin i store is not against btc. I do get what your saying and we do need more spending but that is just people preference what they do. One day hopefully there will be a lot of adoption so there will be big spenders in the mix too.

spending bitcoin is the best way to cycle it . The problem of storing bitcoin is that you are not contributing in the bitcoin community. Bitcoin was made to use not to store. Well we know that we could really get profit on holding . Just think if all of yhe users of bitcoin will hold their bitcoin would the price goes higher ? No because it has no cycle
860  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Holding Bitcoin a long time good way to make money? on: December 10, 2016, 12:02:23 PM
Buying and holding Bitcoin will work if Bitcoin succeeds because it is designed to be deflationary. The problem is that if you get in too late, you can't get as much profit. It's best to buy as early as you can and as much as you can if you are just going to hold it.

And it is still not too late for those new comers to bitcoin, unless they will buy immediately bitcoins then they have a chance to get some profit when the price increases. And buying, holding of bitcoins is giving success to the people who are doing it in the long run. For those people who wants to buy, don't wait for the price to decrease, just buy now because the price will increases higher soon.
Yes its not to late to invest in Bitcoin and to buy Bitcoin. And yes don't wait the price to decrease because the price of Bitcoin is increasing as of now the price is very good. Bitcoin price its not decrease in this year so what are you waiting for . buy Bitcoin now and hold it and wait the price increase to the moon to make profit. If you not buy Bitcoin now when ? When its too late to invest so buy more Bitcoin. And you can trade your holding Bitcoin to altcoin to grow your Bitcoin.

well you are right sort of it will not decrease and I think there are some instances that the price will at the stable price but it will not really decrease but later on it will increase until the end of the year. And I do agree that is is not too late to hold bitcoin but I think it is not necessarily to hold a ton of bitcoin. As my self I use it to trading buy some coins to earn profit well just hold.it for 4 years or more that is sure profit
