Yeah, we got Bitcoin at 50k now the next goal is to see it at 100k.
843  Economy / Gambling / Re: [poorbot.io] | Exchanger for Stake - fast, cheap, simple on: February 12, 2024, 04:06:14 PM
So far I So far I still haven't received the xrp back, but I don't think it was the fault of the bot owner, I made the exchange right after the Superbowl game, I don't know if there were many people exchanging them, but I sent it to the user correctly
Have you sent it to Poorbot? I hope that you haven't sent the tip as public because that's not the correct way to send a tip. When I was testing the Poorbot, I sent all the tips in private and all of the tips were exchanged without any issues.

Some tips were exchanged instantly while a few of them took some time but none of the tips took more than a minute. I hope that Poorbot developer who's currently the representative of it on this forum will see this thread and resolve your issue.
844  Economy / Gambling / Re: [poorbot.io] | Exchanger for Stake - fast, cheap, simple on: February 12, 2024, 01:26:24 PM
Just sent 50.07254460 XRP And an error message appears, I want my money back, please 🙏 User: yankevin
I have personally tested and used their bot and it worked very fine for me. I also recorded and shared a video of the bot and wrote a detail review of it. Have you sent the XRP to poorbot or you have sent it to someone else?

I think you'll most probably get your money if you sent it to the bot because the developer is a quite honest person. Can you please update us that have you got your money or not? I hope that Poorbot developer will soon leave a reply on this thread so we can see what happened to the situation.
845  Economy / Gambling / Re: Blackjack.fun on: February 12, 2024, 01:21:49 PM
many people are still playing here, and are not aware that they do not have a representative here.
I think they have a representative on this forum with the same name. I have done a job for them a few months ago and I wasn't paid for that, I waited a long time for the one who gave me the task but he wasn't able to give any satisfactory answer, thus I sent a message to their representative on this forum and they asked me to send message on Telegram, I contacted them on Telegram and within a few days I received payment for the work that I have done for them.

I would say that they aren't that bad but I have noticed that their team is very busy and the messages we receive from them take some good time. I hope they will improve their customer support team because without a proper customer support setup it becomes hard for players to get their issues resolved.
846  Economy / Reputation / Re: Why High Demand for Bitcoin Testnet Coins? on: February 12, 2024, 01:08:52 PM
It is related to the SatoshiVM airdrop, which uses testnet coins to get SatoshiVM
Now I got it that why the user was asking for Testnet coins. I thought they might be doing something good but all they want is that airdrop of NFT. I agree that now Bitcoin is getting attacked by those NFTs and Ordinals from all sides.

Those guys have not started attacking testnet coins which have no value at all and are mined for testing purpose only. So, I guess OP will surely get bombarded with many messages and requests because he's offering free testnet coins to users.
847  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Who knows ? on: February 12, 2024, 10:08:48 AM
Have actually tried to locate owners of these wallets , and not successfully however but ongoing proces !
Stop calling me names , bullying others is ugly !
Why do you think that you'll be able to locate the owners of those wallets? How are you sure that those wallets contain Bitcoin. If I'm not wrong then you have wallet.dat files of those wallets and from those wallet.dat files you can't really know how many bitcoins they contain.

How could you possibly know that who's the owner of such wallet.dat files and how can you locate them if you don't know who they are? I'm not bullying you and I don't really bully anyone but I smelled a kind of scam and that's why I said that. Are you sure you haven't been scammed by someone else who sold you those wallet.dat files?
848  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Who knows ? on: February 12, 2024, 09:14:56 AM
Any information is appreciated !
I gave a look at your post history and you have been saying such things from a long time. I'm pretty sure that you're someone who got scammed by the ones who sell wallet.dat files and now you're trying your luck to scam someone else so you can recover the money that you have paid to that scammer.

For your kind information, this forum if not full of those members who are greedy or who trust strangers but it's a forum where all members have some sense and they don't just trust anyone without proper investigation. It's not an easy task to decrypt the password encrypted wallets so just don't waste your time and others time.
849  Other / Meta / Re: Use of AI on Bitcoin talk on: February 12, 2024, 05:59:18 AM
Back in the day plagiarization was always caught by bitcointalk detectives but there's only so much that can be done against LLMs thesedays, especially when there's managers that don't care about nonsense posts being paid, who's gonna care about AI which is barely distinguishable from normal posts.
I think AI is also being detected on this forum by the spam blasters of the forum. Nutildah has created a thread in reputation board where active users report AI generated posts whenever they find one. The AI detectors aren't that bad as they can detect AI generated text to some good extent.

I know that it's not going to stop those who are good at training AI themselves but at least most users don't really know that kind of technical things and they mostly rely on available AI text generators like ChatGPT, Google bard and a few others.

When it comes to quality of posts then surely managers do care about those and they avoid accepting those participants in the campaigns that only post useless things and nothing else. They are doing their job at their best and we can't blame them at all.

They are also humans and checking each user's all posts manually isn't possible so they might read a few posts of the users to see that how good the user is doing. I think we should appreciate managers of the forum because their job isn't easy but still they're doing their best.
850  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for 0.2 testnet BTC. Would be appreciated! on: February 12, 2024, 05:48:39 AM
He is not accepting newbies
Yes, I have noticed that he's not accepting newbies for those free testnet BTC but I guess if a newbie requests him then he might give them some of those testnet BTC.

I haven't personally used the faucets to gain some testnet BTC because I don't need it but has anyone gained some good amount of testnet BTC from those faucets?

I have noticed that a few of those sites are still online and working and OP might give those a try and see if he can gets enough testnet BTC or not.

OP you should try this one as well as it seems to be a good faucet.
851  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 11, 2024, 07:51:08 PM
I can already see Bitcoin at $50k who else can see it at that value other than me? Wink Not not $50k but more than that is coming soon. If the pattern of upward movement continues then we may see Bitcoin over $55k before halving event.
852  Other / Meta / Re: Email used to create this forum? on: February 11, 2024, 07:13:47 PM
The OP must have had a reason to ask the question beyond curiosity but it really is utterly pointless. In my opinion the OP certainly does not seem to be new to the forum even though his rank shows him as newbie and that might explain why I came to that conclusion.

Keeping that aside, it is interesting to note how things developed in the early days from the forum being available on SourceForge to it moving over to the bitcointalk,.org domain.

Yes, I also think that OP isn't a new member because a new member would never ask a question like that, I'm sure OP is already an established member of the forum but he posted the thread via a new account because he might not want others to know that he's unaware about such information. I highly agree with your conclusion because it's most probably correct.

Yes, it's very interesting to know that a famous forum like this used to be hosted on SourceForge but back then I believe Bitcoin was also new and Satoshi might not have much funds to host this forum on a domain name and he may not be able to afford the cost of hosting or he was truly in favor of open-source that's why he hosted this forum on SourceForge back then.

But, the best thing we have is that the same forum has grown to huge levels this day and we are happy to be part of it. I think back then only few people might have expected that the community will grow like this one day and we will have a new domain name which members will remember by heart.
853  Economy / Gambling / Re: How Crypto casino market themselves? on: February 11, 2024, 07:01:43 PM
but I'm not sure about casino influencers' success in getting new users.
The social media influencers do get paid huge sums of money by the casinos which they advertise on their channels. Some social media influencers get direct money from the casinos while others get paid when someone becomes their referral.

They try their best to convince users to use their code in order to earn more bonuses and profits and once a follower gets convinced then he/she will use the code and deposit funds into his/her account and social media influencers get paid for it.

They get huge success in getting new users as their referrals because their followers trust them blindly and they will do whatever the social media influencers tell them to do.
854  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ 7 BTC WB ᐉ Altcoin Betting ᐉ no KYC ᕗ Instant payouts on: February 11, 2024, 06:56:01 PM
t is tight that there is no chance to get a return/refund that has been scammed by 1xbet. But I can't agree with you that people have enough money and that's why try bad sites to scam the funds they have.
Man, I think you got me wrong, I never said that people have enough money so they might deposit money in shady casinos but I said that the social media influencers get paid heavily by casinos like 1xBit and once they are paid then they don't really care even if their followers get scammed by 1xBit or similar casinos.
855  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Understanding the basics in Bitcoin before investing on: February 11, 2024, 03:37:07 PM
What do you need to know before investing in Bitcoin?
You should know that Bitcoin is a crypto-currency that anyone can purchase and hold without any interference from a third part but you'll have to know about P2P trading in order to purchase Bitcoin with 100% privacy. An investor should also know that Bitcoin is digital in nature and storing it on a online exchange can be a very risky thing.
What beginners should know about Bitcoins before investing?
Beginners should know that Bitcoin can be a useful asset if they invest in it with complete care. A beginner should know that one should have his/her own personal wallet if he/she wants to invest in Bitcoin. A beginner should understand that sharing your wallet's private key and seed phase with anyone will allow that person to transfer the bitcoins that you have in that wallet.
856  Economy / Reputation / Re: To Leo and all who support Privacy & the original purpose of Bitcoin. Thank you on: February 11, 2024, 03:26:55 PM
Ok comparing with other cases, I'm pretty sure now that it was an admin who locked o_e_l_e_o's account.

IStaff members or global moderators don't know that who locked the account? If that's true then only admins have information about the accounts that they lock, I mean they might be able to see that which admin locked an account. If I'm not wrong then Theymos, and Cyrus both can see that who locked the account or only one of them can see it who locked that account?
857  Economy / Reputation / Re: [FUN] Who are they, the members who often comment on wall observer? on: February 11, 2024, 03:21:13 PM
They're some of the unique gems of this forum, and they're the ones who prefer privacy a lot. Only Philipma1957 is truly open-minded one and doesn't really care much about privacy and openly shares that where he belong to. There are many good members of the that who actively post there on daily basis.

A few of them have applied signature on their profiles but they really don't care much about the income that's generated via signature thing. I used to be very active on that thread and still sometimes I make posts on that thread. I try to read some posts of that thread when I get time.

The posts on that thread are quite good because those guys are lovers of Bitcoin and they want it to grow. I must say that all of the members of that thread are highly respected members and they really don't care much about other parts of the forum.
858  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥🔥🔥 BC.GAME - CASINO AND SPORTSBOOK | $1,000 GIVEAWAY LIVE! 🔥🔥🔥 on: February 11, 2024, 12:49:37 PM
I contacted live support, and they side that it's one of the mirror sites. I think they forgot to update the list of mirror sites. There could be more.
Now, it's confirmed that it's a mirror site of them then we should not worry much about it. They should update the list of the mirror sites so others won't get confused about it.

When someone's credentials work on both sites then that's a confirm thing that it's their mirror site. I'm sure if @Cantsay try the credentials then they will work on both sites because that one is just a mirror of the official site as confirmed by you after contacting their support.
859  Economy / Gambling / Re: How Crypto casino market themselves? on: February 11, 2024, 12:42:09 PM
Do they target nerds or total dumbs? How efficient they are between their marketing tactics?
They target both the nerds and the dumbs that's what you wanted to know and you should keep in mind they only target those nerds or dumbs who have enough crypto balance. Their main goal is to target audience that is aware about crypto currencies and the ones who might have some crypto in their possession.

Their marketing tactics are very effective and on weekly to monthly basis they get many new players because of the marketing. Most of the crypto casinos know about this forum and they love to advertise on this forum because this advertising helps them to have many new players on their platforms.

They are try to advertise on all those sites that has some kind of crypto element in it, I have found many casino ads on sites like Blockchair which's basically a block explorer. Some big casinos also try to advertise their platforms on sports stadiums. I have seen there banners on football matches that's also a way for marketing.

They also try to market themselves on social media as much as they possibly can by giving huge sums of money to social media influencers.
860  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Wallet with lost password 12k BTC FOR SALE on: February 11, 2024, 12:26:53 PM
Shame on you OP for scamming others but you don't know that on which forum you're trying to scam. Such scams won't work here because we don't fall for such scams.

Who in the world with a mind would buy a useless wallet.dat file for 5 Bitcoin? You should probably try your scam somewhere else where people think more with their feet then with their minds.

I don't know how scammers like you can sleep at night because scamming is the worst thing that anyone can do and someone who scams may not have a good night's sleep.
