841  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How I make 10 000$ month? on: November 17, 2020, 07:37:21 PM
Although I participate in signature campaign I dont like to see the Forum as money making platform for bounty, thats the reason for the time spent on the forum to read as many posts and threads that are educative on cryptocurrency. I spent as much time here as on twitter and telegram to follow project, influencers and traders. Bounty can pay good reward but we may not get it from bitcoin campaign in a month, maybe new startup which can be unpredictable until exchange listing and pump.

843  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Think I just learnt the hard way.... on: November 15, 2020, 12:48:22 PM
I dont know when coinbase set their last transaction fee for bitcoin but I think the exchange is big enough to have low transaction fee, secondly the price is likely to be bigger when the price of bitcoin has increase and the transaction has not been reviewed since the pump. Most exchanges will reduce their transaction fee as bitcoin price increases.

Flooding of coastal areas due to erratic weather patterns is going to increase with time as climate scientists have been warning for a long time. We have already seen how things have taken a turn for the worst when it comes to weather related calamities. People living along coastal areas are going to have to be extra careful and ready themselves for such situations.
Calamities have always been a part of human life and as humans we just adapt. A large section of people still want to deny climate change and just say that it is part of earth's cycles. Cycles or not, one thing is sure that we will have to make communities more resilient till enough can be done to avoid long term climate disaster.
Mix that with an incompetent government, you will have a recipe for disaster. I can say that because I live in that country and the way they handle disaster management is laughable at best, the only one who does something is the VP despite criticism from the presidential. I have lost my faith in the current administration in my country. I do not think that calamities should not be a part of life, that is a BS to further enable inaction towards problems, if there is a way to prevent it why not act on it.
The Country in context was not mentioned,so I cant tell how wealthy the country may be. Natural disaster sometimes are unavoidable in some countries, some are prone to a particular disaster, so Government can only reduce the effect not eliminate the event. it can take adequate measure from government to disseminate climate news, provide climate sustainable programs and improved technology (which are very expensive) to prevent big loss and gravity of event.
845  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Will PayPal be a new crypto-exchange? on: November 15, 2020, 12:01:55 PM
Since PayPal just announced that crypto trading and payment services went live in the US, do you think PayPal may turn into a big competitor to existing cryptoexchages? They can also launch a crypto-currency trading desk as well, why not.
I also once believe Paypal will be a competitor to the existing centralized crypto exchange site but that change after I read some messages posted on Reddit about what Paypal is really offering which was said to be different from crypto activities because the whole process is done in fiat and users are also unable to withdraw their crypto. However, Paypal may be a competition to other centralized exchanges if they change all this process and operate just as crypto exchange does.
What happens if I can't gain the custody of my purchase? Any advantage to this and for how long will the wait to gain the custody of my bitcoin?
846  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO, IEO! Which one do you want to return again? on: November 14, 2020, 08:35:24 PM
I love to see ICO come back, I dont think IEO has gone and will be leaving soon, it only depend on the exchange. Virtually all IEO on binance, gate and Huobi had been successful. They might have dumped at a time after listing but they still achieved the size of fund they demanded, they also get a great community to support the project because of the trust on the exchange and ability to get listed on exchange and be traded soon. ICO need a regulation to control the access to fund raised by the team, perhaps allow dispense of fund base on the deliverables and roadmap, if put in place we might see better outcome from ICO.
847  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hidden team members or not make any difference? on: November 14, 2020, 08:27:09 PM
so for me hidden team members or not still doesn't make a difference..
I am out-rightly against this, it is a very bad advise and should not be taken. Bitcoin cant be compare to any of the new coins, the story is different, there was no crowdfund, even the coin were distributed for free to interested individual, so how will u compare that to a team asking for $30 million without a face to their name, maybe no other identity. Even those with faces scam us, not in this face any more, he should give other successful projects that lasted the 5 past years in the space without identity
848  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Will PayPal be a new crypto-exchange? on: November 14, 2020, 08:10:55 PM
I had to check the post that indicates the growth DEX against CEX in the market lately and It was surprising. Uniswap ($500+ million) and Curve Finance ($80 million) almost made a billion dollar daily trade. These are both new DEX market, less than 3 years and the trade is more than the 2nd daily trade exchange of Coinbase (over 8 years). Beside, the data on DEX traded volume is more reliable than most CEXes with fake volume.
849  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be a wise investor on: November 13, 2020, 08:39:25 PM
Cryptocurrency require most of the discipline engaged in every other investment; patience and making the right choice in investment. We cant treat cryptocurrency differently, I consider the 4-5 year cycle an advantage. Knowing that the parabolic will come in at a time in 4 year gives opportunity to prepare, buy reliable coin in the bear market and every other attractive coins and sell when the price looks huge.
850  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A Post-COVID World Powered By Blockchain Technology on: November 13, 2020, 08:25:34 PM
The provision of cashless society still provide a condition for the Government to allow transaction within their economy without cash and online, so covid will not be excuse to allow the decentralized coin to take over the economy, bitcoin is not meant to replace fiat but to exempt cases of transaction without it. Since have been hearing of the advent of cryptocurrency by any Government have not seen a breakthrough coin in this market. Vaccines are coming out next year and our normal life may resume soon
851  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I made a cartoon movie revealing the secret of Bitcoin and Darknet on: November 13, 2020, 07:03:09 AM
My first worry with the movie will be fake news and the audience. Kids are likely to watch than adult and I wonder what could be the integrity of the information in the video, will it not be misleading? Unfortunately viewers are already worried with some captions. Except you dont want more reactions, it will be better to retrieve or correct with new video soon
852  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will the new US administration be friendly to bitcoin? on: November 12, 2020, 06:35:45 PM
Trump had negative attitude towards bitcoin
This phrase is misleading and cant find anything to support it. The only comment I knew he made on bitcoin was what anyone or country leader would have said for a speculative and volatile market like cryptocurrency. He does not want to subject the populace to a risky market like cryptocurrency, where most may not even learn the trade and invest on president approval alone. Every investment has its risk like bitcoin but this especially may not be advisable for those that cant take the risk and learn as well.
853  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Extreme greed on the market on: November 12, 2020, 04:09:16 PM
I don't use that index but I can say that it's actually saying the real thing that most of the people are greedy because of what we're seeing. Just like you, that's also my observation.

It's an helpful index if you're too conservative with your trades. But as a long time holder, this doesn't affect my decision making.
Checking the fear and greed index, it show 7 factors that are considered to determine the movement of the index; social media, dominance, Volatility, market momentum and volume, surveys and trend. The parameters are with different percentage and they sum-up together to give the direction of movement of the index on greed and fear of traders in the bitcoin market.
854  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2020... Altseason? on: November 12, 2020, 07:36:50 AM
Everyone is as apprehensive as you do, all indication show that bitcoin is bullish and should have done better when statistics are compare with previous bull market, however we are still far from it. I believe the height of price to be achieved would have warranted the early preparation, $60k-100k add-up is huge. The recent baby pumps in altmarket shows FOMO, as long as the price keep pumping traders will FOMO.
855  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can A Chrome app be a malwware and steal your private keys? on: November 12, 2020, 07:05:09 AM
I know it might have its own advantage but I think one address one private should be improved in the future. We should be able to change our private keys if we think are no more safe, exposed or can be compromised. Transferring asset at any exposure may not be always easy. It is also difficult to cram the private keys and caused the lost of some assets, people would have preferred to never document it which could be responsible for the use of exchanges by some people.
856  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BNB VS Eth - Invest in ETH since BNB is centralized on: November 11, 2020, 04:34:19 PM
why should it be like that ?, investing in Binance is also a good choice,
Binance has a great future, moreover their CEO CZ is very good at developing Binance,
it is proven that their exchange platform is now number one in terms of security, volume etc.
I appreciate your opinion. I will prefer premises that differentiate the 2 coins and why you think they will be profitable, than stating the preferred coin to purchase base on your on opinion. Nobody knows which will be more profitable in this market, irrespective of the fundamentals profit is still the priority of most traders. So for whatever reason I will keep both coins but in different percentage to have share of the profit either one performs better than the others.
857  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can google trend shows you how to trade bitcoin? on: November 11, 2020, 04:26:50 PM
There are times news sell bitcoin, this only happens when the sentiment is bullish in the space. There have been better news in the space during the bear market than the Jack Dorsey bitcoin acquisition that didnt pump the price. The manipulation is relax and FOMO is allow to find its place although the price can still be controlled. Some dont have immediate effect when the aim is for acquisition, The news of launch of Eth. 2.0 is enough to drive the price but it is driving the acquisition and hoarding which will have a long term effect on price.
858  Economy / Economics / Re: Biden and Cryoto on: November 11, 2020, 07:38:25 AM
Cryptocurrency can do well without Government's influence, I even prefer government being silent on it but a policy in USA government againsts cryptocurrency can kill it. Asides China most big fund with high number of people in cryprocurrency is in the USA, ATM the whole world is still waiting for the $1 trillion palliative in USA to get into this space and pump the price a little. Dollar in USA matters here a lot, there are news of crypto investor's contribution in his campaign which will believe will make us safe under Biden.
859  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you received a call/text recently from a friend/fam asking about Bitcoin? on: November 11, 2020, 07:26:29 AM
I got a call 3 weeks ago from a brother that works in bank, he told me he read about the profit coming soon to the space. He mocked me in 2016 when I told him about bitcoin and I showed him my profit after bull market, he has been silent since the bear market and mocking behind me also but he thought 2017 is about to repeat itself soon and want to benefit from it. If he comes honorably I might consider telling him investment strategy I learnt with pain and some loss. If he misses 2020 to Q2 2021 it will be very expensive or late for him.
860  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BUY 32 ETH on: November 10, 2020, 06:56:30 PM
This staking may not be for everyone, I think holders of Ethereum less than 100 should not be involve in this longterm staking, they might not be able to take profit in the bull market for ethereum staked. I am very sure Vitalik will still sell ethereum in the coming parabolic, many large holder will benefit from the staking and they will also have something to sell. We need enough information to take decision with ethereum staking
