841  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum May Surpass Bitcoin’s Market Cap in the Next 10 Years on: January 03, 2021, 09:34:38 AM

“My hunch is BTC is a perfect collateral layer but ETH might be bigger in market cap terms in 10 years for the reasons above. Money and collateral is just the base layer. Everything builds on top. The store of value is collateral, the trust layer and exchange of value is bigger.”

There's a big possibility that it could happen, every year so many things are happening in the industry, it's very important for new and old  investors to follow the market and the industry, there will be new technology coming up and old projects going down, it's probably the best time to be here and be part of this technology, we are shaping the future.
842  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Who should Ryan Garcia fight? on: January 03, 2021, 08:42:55 AM

The 5th round was great for Ryan Garcia as he started dominating the fight and the bell saved Campbell and he finished he fight in the 7th round.
So whats next for Ryan Garcia.
Oscar DeLa Hoya will protect his cash cow I don't think he is ready to face Haney or Davis after getting a knock down, so Oscar will get him second rate boxers to sustain his popularity, his chin was exposed and Haney and Davis are both good in exposing their opponents weakness, but I do hope Garcia will be brave enough to face these two fighters this year.
843  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Electroneum scam? on: January 03, 2021, 07:53:54 AM

Updates?

Read post above yours lol

Or this: https://news.electroneum.com/
Thanks for the updates and sorry for creating a little FUD they do have updates but the price did not move at all since they launch these coins we are now in a bull might as well follow it now and see if this time if it will deliver the much needed hype they need to keep the price moving, honestly I made profit here but lose interest after the dip it.
844  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Electroneum scam? on: January 02, 2021, 10:52:46 PM

I do not think that the project is a scam rather it is a case of falling short of promises. The team over promised the community at the start and even after years they are not able to fulfill the expectations and many of their supporters just exit out due to loss of hope and now i do not think they have much community left, I have also sold my etn and moved on.

I gave up on their promises it used to be one of the promising coin in the market and was heavily promoted and hype people even believe that it will reach $5 months after they launched this coin, my decision is right to dump this coin, the price is not moving, there were few updates i suspect that's going to be a dead coin soon.
845  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why Do Some People Still Ask For The Best altcoins? on: January 02, 2021, 10:38:47 PM
I'm still confused by the people who always ask the best altcoins even though we can all see if ethereum is still in second place. Are they all still not aware that number two is the best in altcoins because the first position is bitcoin

It's already given that Ethereum is the best altcoin they are still looking for the best other altcoins that have potential to become the next Ethereum in the market, and they want to verify what's the best altcoin or altcoins in the market, people here don't want to lose money and they want to go with the flow, or they want to know if they are missing something.
846  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What has bitcoin done to you? on: December 30, 2020, 02:22:39 AM

What has bitcoin done to you? Is it Happiness or Regret?

I have a share of both but majority are happiness, when Bitcoin set up new records I am very happy and when I received Bitcoin coming from my task and I received just when Bitcoin is going up, I have bought a lot and I am to sustain my family in times of crisis especially the pandemic,on regret I regret for not trusting Bitcoin will bounce back everything there is a big crash, like what happen last March.
847  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin betting on the 2020 US Presidential Election | Trump vs Biden on: December 28, 2020, 11:39:23 PM
if someone want to bet for trump , i am selling my waiting bet
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5291889.msg55646497#msg55646497
Only crazy people will consider what you offer, we all know that it's only a matter of time before Biden take the White House, you are attempting to scam people by offering a losing bet, it's impossible to make a turnaround now, even die-hard Trump believers already conceded that they've lost the fight, so better move and accept your loss.
848  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are your Bitcoins safe? on: December 28, 2020, 10:57:57 PM
Most of don't even back up properly, we just screenshot our phrases forgetting that screenshots can be seen by others and even be deleted by anyone. Let's be cautious about our backups, check them if they still exist where you kept them and be sure if you need to replace them.

This is very important, it tells how matured you are and how educated you are in handling your coins, it's not just about trading, buying new coins and hodling backing up probably is the most important part of getting involved in Cryptocurrency, you should back up properly so you'll never encounter losing your coins.
849  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which virtual currency is suitable for long-term investment? on: December 28, 2020, 04:18:04 PM
Taking a look at the crypto industry, there are lot of potential crypto asset to invest into for a short and long term. But as an investors, long term is more preferable for me , from your opinion, what will be the best crypto asset that worth my hard earn money l can invest into  for a long term. although bitcoin and ethereum are center of focus for big financial institutions such paypal and the rest of the fintech giants.

With the exception of Ripple which will soon become a death coin, I prefer investing in the top 10 coins in the market, they have the volume they have trust and the liquidity, that is if you have a big fund to invest if you only have small funds then choose Bitcoin and Ethereum, you can make a profit from these two coins both on the long term and short term.
850  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: PI Network! A huge trap[Warning!] on: December 28, 2020, 04:02:09 PM
So is this shit stil alive or was it exit scammed finally?
TBH i've not heard a single peep or a PI shill in months, so i figured it just went away and people pretened it never existed

They are still alive and now they are asking to verify your name so you can own your coin, I missed verifying my PI because I stopped for two months already and I'm not going back gain and besides I need not worry if the coin is interesting it will have a heavy dump and I can buy from the market without giving my identity to the developers of this project.
851  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bangladesh going to accept Cryptocurrency??? on: December 27, 2020, 06:36:47 AM
There's news that Pakistan just legalize the use of Cryptocurrency because they believe that it's the future currency, once Pakistan adoption take off and they are masking good progress on it, Bangladesh will follow Pakistan's lead, they are neighbors and we all know neighbors tend to follow the development of their neighboring country.
852  Economy / Speculation / Re: Oh BTC crossed 25k on: December 27, 2020, 06:20:03 AM
BTC is rapidly moving up and broke 25k mark for first time in history, whenever the price of BTC pumps more than a month it triples for sure. As long as money continues entering the market at this price and holder's who Don't want to sell their btc then automatically price will go up more quickly than it did in the past, these positive trend's say BTC is all set to make a massive record this time.

It keeps setting new records and who knows there's a big pump coming and Bitcoin will end up in $28k level things are looking good if there are no problems that come and everything goes smooth in 2021 we could possibly have $50000 next year, this is a dream of a lifetime for those who bought last March and still holding.
853  Other / Off-topic / Re: Covid is fud on: December 27, 2020, 02:31:07 AM
Like every other fuds it will be over soon .

I have information that  spring. 2 nd march uk will be fine.
Then all world slowly good .

The fud is to crash markets just normal stage of life

Where you get that information and how reliable is that for us to believe in what you are saying, so far CoVid has no impact in the Cryptocurrency market, it's doing great we are having one all time high to another market is setting records after records, you are late in getting update about the market, you are looking on the wrong side of the market, or you are stuck in March 2020.
854  Economy / Economics / Re: I lost my job, how about you guys? on: December 26, 2020, 03:53:27 PM
Yes I got made redundant earlier in the year.

Now I  lost my health too.

I hate 2020

We all do, glad that we are still alive, 2020 is a learning experience for all of us here that we need to save for rainy days and we need to take care of our health, life is full of uncertainty now, we never thought that a virus as serious as this can cause many to lose their love ones and their job, but we'll soon going to get up from this.
855  Economy / Economics / Re: Rise in US unemployment. Thoughts? on: December 26, 2020, 03:42:45 PM

The reason for the increase of unemployment is the struggling economy, why? it's because of the pandemic, and therefore we need to solve the problem in order for our economy to slowly get back to its glow.

The only solution I can think of is the vaccine, people are restricted in their movement, they cannot go and do what they want to do that is related to their job and they need to stay home most of the time, if we have the vaccine the restriction will vanish and everyone can practice their job because they are free to move and to communicate face to face.
856  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and Crypto Jobs 2020 on: December 26, 2020, 03:12:53 PM
There are crypto jobs this year and it also requires great experiences and portfolios in order to win the hiring competition with everyone. It's once in a lifetime opportunity especially that we have to work online to stay away from covid-19 and for sure many people preferably working at home during this times. We just have to level up the game in order to land with the job we desires.

Jobs in Cryptocurrency is a growing industry we will see many companies and workers giving and accepting Cryptocurrencyyou can because it's an international currency and many countries are already accepting currency and you can buy a lot of stuffs with Cryptocurrency or you can easily trade it to fiat money, so start developing skills to market.
857  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Trading can be considered as Gambling? on: December 26, 2020, 01:59:28 PM
There's money involved and people are buying because of speculation, they are both gamblings, trading is not a quick and easy profit venture they worked like sports betting you have to fully analyze all the subjects and come out with the best possible results, we mean possible but not guaranteed, but if there are guaranteed profit then it's not gambling.
858  Economy / Economics / Re: Fake COVID-19 vaccines....by Paying in Bitcoins on: December 26, 2020, 01:19:38 PM

It is true that the vaccines that are produced by multinational pharmaceutical giants such as Moderna, Pfizer and AstraZeneca will be delivered directly to the government agencies and they will not be available in the market. But the same can't be said about the vaccines from various manufacturers in China and Russia. I have strong suspicion that these vaccines may become available in the open market. The dark market listing which is mentioned by the OP involved vaccines from two Chinese companies - Sinopharm and Sinovac.

There's corruption in every industry I'm sure it will be available in the black market, people who can afford it but their country have a hard time obtaining the vaccine will try to obtain it in the black market even if the price is triple, these people will not wait because they have the money, and these people are coming from the rich sector of the society.
859  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin This year & Next year. on: December 26, 2020, 12:35:41 PM
However, I started to think Bitcoin could be over $25k between January and March 2021, it could happen because now it has broken the 20k level.

My question....!
1. Could it be that after this Bitcoin fell even lower, as was the case in 2017 and 2018 ago.
Rose to the highest price at the end of 2017 and fell back to the low of 2018.
2. Or is it possible that Bitcoin will stay at the lowest $20k level and will continue to $.....!

What do you think after this incident bitcoin passed through ATH.....! Go up to the next or vice versa.
Speaking is not based on predictions, only seeing from existing experiences.

We are in a better scenario compared to what we've experienced back in 2017, investors now are more matured and there are many companies supporting and adopting Cryptocurrency, remember back 2017, PayPal consider Bitcoin as a bubble, but now they have adopted it, 2021 is the start where Bitcoin will reach greater heights, we must look forward not backward, Cryptocurrency is the future.
860  Economy / Economics / Re: A reward system for Covid Free people.... on: December 25, 2020, 01:48:01 PM
Our government can't do that we don't have enough money to support all our CoVid patient and those that are displaced workers  because of the pandemic, rich country can do that but with the health system overwhelmed by the number of infected and closing of the economy I don't think it's a good idea, it's better that the money be put on the health sector and getting the economy up again.
