841  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trading Answers on: October 06, 2019, 02:39:20 PM
Actually in trading you need to put aside your greed, once greed gets over you losses will follow, limit your daily trading too or you will open door to losses, trade twice a day is enough, always use low amount when trading, do not trade with big amounts, slow trading wins the race.
I agree with these! But when im doing trading i dont rely much on bitcoin usually im choosing 5 coins/tokens to trade in a day sometimes 2-3 times per day thats why i dont care if Bitcoin Trading price was fluctuate much in a day, Because im rarely using bitcoin to trade with other coins/tokens USDT or stablecoins is my choice but im holding BTC for some reason.

Being greedy will not cause you any good. Having a clear mind and patience will make you think and make a clear decision when it comes to trading. Trading is not about buying low and selling high. Its about building a strategy on how you can make a profit out of the money you invested in the crypto market.
842  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Exacly what is the Reason? on: October 06, 2019, 12:36:23 PM
Exacly what is the Reason bull run have not started yet?

There is allready good things happening Bakkt, Binance, bitmex large volumes and so...

Still that all its not enough?

No one really have an answer for the reasons why the bull run of Bitcoin hasn't started yet. The nature of the bitcoin market and ecosystem makes it difficult to know and predict when the bull run will begin.  You just have to keep your eyes on the market and observe the patterns of the rate the market value of Bitcoin changes. That can help you know to invest and make some reasonable profit.
Exactly, market is unpredictable all the things you might read in some articles are just speculation. We don't know when the bull run will happen but even so we should observe and be updated upon the movement of the market. Probably, there are some issue that hindrances the bull run however, it is vague so I cannot mention one but I am pretty sure it has to be a reason why it is not starting yet.
Bull run will come in an unexpected way, we were thinking so hard when it will come. Lets just stay our cool and the right time we are waiting will come sooner or later. Some says that by the end of this year or maybe next year. But no one can really tell what lies in our future.
843  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How important is the name of a cryptocurrency project? on: October 06, 2019, 10:55:08 AM
Brand name is an essential aspect in a project be it crypto or non crypto project, there are are some brand names that attract people to patronize it, and some names give a hint on what that project is all about, however, brand names necessary determines the success of that project, people invest in project because of the potentials not because of how good the name sound.
It is really an essential part of the project because the name or the brand name will become the face of the product and that is what the people will always remember when it comes to the product. Just let Apple to be an example, before when we say apple, it is just a fruit but now, in this era, when we talk about apple it is now about being premium and being expensive. That is how powerful a name can be.
The name of the crypto will help to differentiate it from other crypto. It reflects to the brand and also to the category itself. Without having a name of the crypto, every individual will find it hard to differentiate and explain to other people what they want to buy, it is also important because it is the word what comes first into their mind when decided to buy in the market.
844  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's next for bitcoin ? on: October 06, 2019, 09:13:44 AM
We have been through a rough ride but what's next for bitcoin ? It has survived some brutal sanctions which were implemented by regulators but still manages to flourish (sustain), but don't you think bitcoin can earn more reputation by doing something good for the community like donating for environment cause, could pledge to help Amazon rainforest to recover from the recent disaster which will create more bitcoin sympathizers. Don't you think bitcoin community needs to focus on world affair so that we can be a part of mainstream and recognized by people ?

This would never happen. Bitcoin is more of a trading asset/currency rather than a humanitarian tool to help better the world. I mean, wealthy individuals can still donate to these causes using bitcoin, but ultimately it will end up being exchanged to fiat (and cause a small dump, should OTC trading didn't take place) in order to buy things that are needed to rebuild and repair whatever that needs repairing. It's a good thought of donating to something that's actually gonna help everyone in this world, but we all know that charities would rather receive donations in kind or in cash as they would be needing a lot of liquidity to get faster resources and supplies.
It is impossible to happen. And how can we help a disaster if it is being caused by the government itself. Bitcoin community doesn't need to make a name by acting as a hero, by showing the public that we can contribute to them by helping who's in need. For the meantime, we just need to wait for the time to come when everyone will finally acknowledge the existence of bitcoin.
845  Economy / Economics / Re: Don't spend bitcoin. Not now. on: October 06, 2019, 06:50:49 AM
Not now! agreed!
It is made for investment! Agreed!
But whether stored, whether invested, it will be spend.
Bitcoin is best for investment because it's value is not stable.but in one way or the other no one keeps it forever.
Of course bitcoin is best coin to invest your money but it only need perfect time for selling and for buying. We should try to buy it when the price Will be low and market will be green at the same time I would suggest you to sell when the price is high. Right now it’s only holding time we should hold out coins as much as possible.
Bitcoin is really good for long term investment, as long as we dont need to spend or to use it, it would be better to save it until the day will come that we will be able to sell it at a highest price it gets. By having an opportunity to sell at highest, it will also be our own benefit.
846  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: REQUEST FOR GAS FEE TO GET PAID ARE SCAM. on: October 06, 2019, 04:30:48 AM
OP is lucky to have gotten 1 with value out of 10 from airdrops that asks for gas fee. It could be easily 1 out of 100 for other hunters.

How did they get the contact of airdrop participants, by the way?
Spreadsheets, emails, fill-ups/sign-ups.
Airdrops spread like wildfire before. You see a lot of twitter accounts and many telegram channels with thousands of followers sharing the airdrop forms. A newly created airdrop can get hundreds and thousands of registered participants in just an hour.

It become popular a year ago, airdrops can bee seen anywhere not only in this forum but also in social media, by becoming part of their community, you will receive payment that can be sold on some exchanges. but after the trend, many scam airdrops also came. you will pay for gas and then you will receive a coin without a value.
847  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why i prefer mining and investing in ICO/IEO on: October 06, 2019, 03:35:08 AM
Reasons why i prefer mining coins than investing a dime on IEO/ICO projects
1. My profits is assured.
I dont have to wait for a project to do x3 or whatsoever to get profits on my invested cash, with better mining rigs and good calculator you will know when your ROI will come.

2. No worries of getting scammed
I dont have to investigate an exchange before investing or wasting time doing research on projects before investing, all i do is mine ETH and sell for fiat or decides to hold for a little while.

In any investment world, in my opinion there is no guarantee of profits from every investment made. Price moves very volatile and no one can guarantee that prices will always go up and benefit everyone. Everyone has a choice in investing and I think it is best to invest with money that we can afford to lose
yes indeed, there is no guarantee to any investment you made, even if you do mining or investing in an IEO/ICO you cant guarantee your profit. But if you are comfortable to your investment and if you are really making a profit from that, its good to continue. Facing the risk will be the key to success.
848  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Popularity of BITCOIN on Twitter Declining? on: October 06, 2019, 02:17:07 AM
Many people say that BTC has grown in adoption and use. But I think despite of this fact the popularity of bitcoin is going downwards. Here is a very interesting graphic I found which shows the number of posts with #Bitcoin on Twitter I think the graph is pretty identical with the price graph.

However I personally think there are two reasons behind the boom which came during the bull run.
1. Bounties & Bounty Hunters: During the Bull run bounty hunting was at its peak and all the bounty hunters participated heavily in twitter campaigns. Most of the tweets had some basic condition to add a few hashtags related to cryptocurrency I think that was the reason why the graph looks so tall during the bull run.

2. Trading Mentors & Media: A lot of hype was also created by all types of media around the world when they continuously posted around regarding bitcoin and how it went to moon. Moreover even every damn trader became a trade mentor because every coin was going up people gave calls blindly and became trading mentor. These mentors were giving calls on daily basis with these usual hashtags relating to bitcoin.

These can be the two reasons why chart shows such a long tower in December 2017.

I hardly believe that bounty hunting might be the reason of the peak in 2018, why? Since bounty hunters are promoting projects but not really focuses on bitcoin, they are promoting other altcoins which is the product of different projects. In that case, the focus should be to other coins as well. Why not to think about bitoin is really getting into popularity not just in twitter, but also in other social media platforms.
Yes and since bounty campaign/social media campaign are declining, we cant avoid the fact that the trend on social media regarding bitcoin and other cryptocurrency will also declined. Bitcoin will be making a name again and social media users will surely talk about it again when its price will increase.
849  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Should move to BTC? on: October 06, 2019, 01:28:50 AM
Hi guys ! Thats a question i do to myself very often , and it always looks like the right answer. My main coin for now its XRP (like 3000) and a very few BTC (0.005).

I hold XRP from long time but i see BTC price raise a lot and XRP don't do much. They have a consolidated project but no matters what BTC price its still mandatory.

So the question is , should i sold like 2500XRP and buy BTC when this one have a price drop?

I know its something i had to decide myself , just looking for what you guys think.
Thanks!

Looking at the market value of bitcoin now, it will be good idea to sell your XRP for Bitcoin. You are likely to make about 20% - 30% of profit when the market value moves to $15k. I see bitcoin moving from $8k  to $15k before 2019 comes to an end. But XRP also has good potential of increasing in market value.
Yes, exchanging your XRP for Bitcoin would be better. The current price of bitcoin as of now is $8.1k, and if its price will increase up to $15k, you might earn more than 20-30% of your investment, it will be a long journey for hodl'ers, once its price started to increase, all hodl'ers are keeping their eyes to its price.
850  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how to earn free altcoin ?? on: October 06, 2019, 12:55:30 AM
To earn free altcoins, joined airdrops, bounties and give away. Some altcoins that going to be listed on one exchange, they have some promotion, don't miss it.  When I was a newbie, I signed different faucet, but it's not that worth it.

Seems like virtually everyone started with faucets to earn free coins. But faucets are total waste of time. If you want free coins, you will have to work for it. The good thing is you dont have to do much than put your social media accounts(twitter, facebook, Instagram) to use by retweeting/sharing or making posts about the projects. Also, you can make videos and articles which qualifies you for the free coins at the end of the campaign

You are right, faucets are just a waste of time nowadays. There was a time when I earned good money through faucets but from the bear market, faucets are worthless. Airdrop bounty is the easiest way to earn altcoins, but gambling or betting games can help too. Otherwise, dApp are rapidly growing nowadays, and I hope people can earn good money by completing tasks on dApp!
These days you cannot make a profit using faucets, its just a waste of time.
Airdrops and bounty campaigns will be the other option, where you have to wait and work to receive altcoin, in airdrop they give it for free, but not all of them does have a value.
851  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think majority of the people heard or read Bitcoin one time or another on: October 05, 2019, 03:52:30 PM
Bitcoin has come along way we have seen massive adoption and so many videos, news, and articles about websites and many people have invested and are now using Bitcoin do you think after ten years majority of people around the world have heard or read Bitcoin one time or another?

We are in the digital age or information age, the majority of us have TV, computers, smartphones, and internet in their homes, so yes, the majority heard about bitcoin via social medias or in articles. Some of them listened and explore, some of them listened and judged it, some of them ignore. Ten years would not be enough I guess for the majority of people to use bitcoin, in my opinion, it is hard to persuade people that are not open-minded.
adoption will take a lot of time, it doesnt happen over a few years, a decade will probably when its been decided. We are indeed in the digital age, every information can be explored through internet, it can expand in every part of the world. even information can be found in the internet that will reach the people, once they understand the true purpose of it, they wont every ignore it, nor judge it anymore.
852  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A view on hunters and crypto currency on: October 05, 2019, 08:40:35 AM

After the failures of ico and the short progress of ico; it brings a sigh of fear into crypto currency.

Investors are smarter; and do not rush into tokens
while bounty hunters are increased thus providing poor contents which leads to no reward

If we consider previously where projects raise 10m$ for just launching app unlike now where
Most Projects this year struggle to raise even 100$; and it looks like ieo/ico will die soon.

What will be the future of crypto currency?
Does it need regulation as stock and forex ? Or the sequence of struggle continues ?

Now there are news about a possible increase in bitcoin supply; is it healthy for the space ?

For hunters; soon; I doubt we will find worthy projects to promote

As this is my first post in altcoins; I hope I get a lot of suggestions to improve my knowledge likewise
After every failure, there is a success. Technology evolves and continue to grow, same as cryptocurrecy, it will survive even after these struggles, it might take a lot of time to recover, but it will indeed come in the right time.

I think its impossible to increase the supply of bitcoin, it was created with a limited supply, I dont think that they can increase it.
853  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think Bitcoins biggest vulnerability is? on: October 05, 2019, 08:02:11 AM
Bitcoin’s biggest vulnerability for me is  security. Given that this is used as source of income or even source of payment for sure there are a lot of ambitious people who will hack and get something from our funds. Hackers and amscammers are known here so for me security isthe biggest vulnerability on bitcoin.
We cannot question the security of bitcoin, security is coming from its own owner. even in fiat, security depends on how you take care of your own money, even if storing in banks, there are some cases that you might lose it if a scammer will find a way to get your money by getting information of you account.

I might consider the possible lost of private keys, which you wont be able to recover once you have lost it. There is no private institution that will give you an assistance or an account which you can easily forget your password and reset it to a new one.
854  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why don't US gov buy a trillion worth of bitcoin? on: October 05, 2019, 05:22:15 AM
A very good question, I will answer according to my capacity as an ordinary person. So maybe the answer is lacking
satisfying. But everyone is free to express an opinion, in my opinion the US government may have bought bitcoin and altcoin.
But not in large quantities and carried out in secret. As we know about them, they are very obsessed with being a country
superpower .So from Bitcoin is a major breakthrough in the world of technology that is quite interesting for them to learn it.
US Government buys bitcoin not to enjoy its main purpose profit, but rather to research bitcoin itself.
And I'm very confident that the US Government has the best technology experts who can provide input on the issue of bitcoin.
For now, government of the US is still studying everything about bitcoin including the flaws of it. We guarantee that they will take action few months from now, government are taking control with fiat currencies, and bitcoin is also a currency which they wont let passed, that's why they will move once they have a solution for the negative sides of bitcoin.
855  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: DID I MAKE A MISTAKE INVESTING IN BITCOIN? on: October 05, 2019, 04:05:24 AM
You know this question is unavoidable...

DID I MAKE A MISTAKE INVESTING IN BITCOIN?

A lot of people have heard of the benefits achievable with BTC investments and decided to invest.
The recent market setbacks have brewed a very big question in the minds of new investors...

What will be your response to this question?
If you feel doubt about in Bitcoin even a little bit, I could say that you are making a mistake investing in Bitcoin.
Because earning it is not just an easy things as what others thinking. You need to accept things once you decide to invest
in bitcoin, if you use in a wrong way you could lose you chance to earn it. But if you do the right things to use it accordingly,  I can
guarantee you that you can earn good in the end for sure in bitcoin.
OP seems to be worried for the sudden decreased in price of bitcoin. But everyone is actually worried, but as we said, profit does not happen overnight and it takes a lot of time before having a profit. Good things come to those who wait, OP didnt make a mistake, waiting for the market to recover will take time. We all know that a few months later, it will start to recover from now.

That is normal if OP feels worried, but he can manage his feeling to stay calm. I am sure OP can be patient like other people because the patient is needed in waiting for the price back to the higher price. As long as he can hold his coin, he will make a profit, and maybe the market will change this month. So there is nothing to worry about or afraid, just follow the market moves and enjoy the ride. We all now have the same experience in waiting for the market back, and we have time to see the profit.
It is indeed normal, but for some other people, they became paranoid because of this sudden changes in price. That's the common problem to new holders of bitcoin, they don't know how to become patient. Making everything in rush, all they think is they will earn big profit once they have invested in bitcoin.
856  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think 40% bonus is too much for early Investors? on: October 05, 2019, 02:53:29 AM
Not too much. 40% is the appropriate bonus for people who support the project for a long time. As you know, in the long run, the prices of altcoins collapse
Indeed, with the early support of these investors, projects that reward them with such a reward are appropriate, even if it adds a few percent more, it is not a big deal because as you said, in the long run, no one knows what will happen to the project, it could be a reward or a risk, the bonus created by the project only helps people feel fair, which is also a way to attract investors. But one very clear problem is that the bonuses are bigger, very few people risk venturing to invest in such projects, the risk is usually quite large
This is too much, we all know that those coins that are not gonna sell until the end of the project will be burn, it means the supply of the coin will be shorten or decreased. It looks like it does not affect but it is really too much when an altcoin will finally make it to the market.
857  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No trading volume is same as dead coin on: October 04, 2019, 11:53:03 PM
Yes no volume that's means there is no larger marketing those project with no have any good investors so before holding any coin you need be carefully check everything about those project then you can holding for future.
Today, we can say that all coins except first 200 are almost dead. There are only optimists who believe in  success of their team.
Only their team believes that it works fine but it was different from what investors perspective. It doesn't make sense at all if investors had never shown some interest with their project, it's only be like a dead one.

Some projects are listed in some reputable exchange but not actually it works well as nobody been moving their money towards them. They're still be sleeping dead unlike those who already had investors already.

Of course the team will think positive for their own benefit, it their community lose their trust and interest for the project, no one will support it. The moment we see a coin without a volume, it is most likely considered as a dead coin, its not moving and it doesn't have any value at all.
858  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin/Cryptocurrency user friendly? on: October 04, 2019, 10:48:26 PM
I think it is user-friendly but it is not something you can use immediately. You must have some eagerness and you really want and willing to learn. It is user-friendly to those who have used the proper sources to learn. Well, I mean that is required to everyone before they engage to something, right?
Willingness will drove you to success, having a progress in learning is something that everyone should do.
it is indeed user friendly, easy to use, to learn and to understand. but the thing is, you should continue to learn everyday, its only natural for everything you do, its part of every individual's growth.
859  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I have a Dream... on: October 04, 2019, 07:44:45 PM
I hope you guys know that you are just repeating the history, that man who paid a lot of bitcoin in just one slice of pizza. Let me elaborate my opinion about this. If there is a store selling burger that cost 0.0005 Bitcoin (let's say the price of bitcoin that day was $9,000) and you bought it using bitcoin, the other day the price of bitcoin changed to $9500, you just lost $.25 in one burger, what more if you are going to use cryptocurrency on buying things that could be bought by fiat just to say "Hey I have bitcoin" in a way.

This is what we called wants and needs, our "wants" must be in fiat, and our "needs" must be in cryptocurrency.

That is the risk of using cryptocurrency when the time comes, the reason why crypto cant easily legalize or to be used in our daily life. Its price is not stable, it can be changed every second depends on the flow of the market.
It would be hard to adopt and it takes a lot of time before they can think of a solution for every risk we have, before we can finally use bitcoin in our daily life.
860  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Statistics: Geez, I thought there were more females in bitcoin community on: October 04, 2019, 01:04:31 PM
I was kinda expecting that there will be more women around age of 40+ though, or maybe the media kinda brought me into a mindset of a lot people tend to be known for being an investor late in their lives.
I assume that these would be women who tend to stay in their homes as a housewife to trade Bitcoin while their husband works outside, since it is kinda common thing for that to happen anyways in a family.
I am not surprised by this, not all women like too much technology I mean there are not focus on the growing technology but instead they are focus on entertainment, beauty and wellness and other stuff. Few of them are interested in this cryptocurrency because we are more practical I think? Though yes we have a time for beauty and wellness and entertainment but somehow we give more time in this community because we know that we can have a better future and money in here.
Indeed, most of the time, men are more attracted or somehow interested when it comes to technology, we find it fun to do things like this, while girls stay at doing girly things. There is nothing to be surprised for this result. And there is nothing to think about that, since we are here to support the community and not to find a woman to become our lovers.
