841  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does good side of gambling overcomes its negative side? on: March 26, 2020, 03:51:25 PM
For me positive side of gambling overcomes it's negative side. I find gambling entertaining, it's not the income I count on because
I gamble with low amounts, and I would like to believe that gambling boosted my analytic skills and decision making.
I'm not afraid of negative side of gambling. I believe I have a strong character, I don't gamble everyday, it can't ruin me financially
as I said I don't spend big amounts.
842  Economy / Economics / Re: CoronaVirus USA - Open by easter? on: March 26, 2020, 05:29:05 AM
Politicization of the virus is what we are seeing in the last few months. All of them (I didn't notice any exceptions) are using virus to promote
themselves and their parties. It's ridiculous what they are saying in the last couple of weeks, how they talk about virus, about their sacrifice for
the people, but under table they are pushing their own secret agenda. Scaring people and offer salvation in the same time is what they do, and
I see that this is working, and I doubt it will end in next 20 days. They imposed total control and this state is good for them, people can't meet,
people can't gather to talk and protest, in news all we see is the virus, everything else is not important.
843  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Where ETH will go if it breaks down $80? on: March 25, 2020, 10:13:46 PM
ETH has touched $ 80 a few times before, and fortunately it has quickly recovered. If ETH breaks down of $ 80, I think it will most likely go back to $ 10 or even worse. I hope it will never happen because if it happens then this market will surely collapse forever.
If ETH reaches $80, I don't think it will fall any further, and for a while it will be at $80 and start rising, but I don't think ETH will reach $80 at all.

We can hope that it's the bottom, but if it drops lower it would be probably the good chance for buying. It's obvious that
this global economy situation affecting crypto-currencies, what we have to do now is to stay strong and united, and to
accumulate more if we are in position for that.
Today I read some articles and Bitcoin can drop to 4000$ apparently, by some crypto-influencers. So further drop is
something we can expect for all other alt-coins.
844  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Brought Bitcoin in 2017 and sold in 2018 on: March 25, 2020, 05:56:33 PM
Selling at a loss is not good, maybe you got FOMOd during that time, and let that experience of yours as a lesson that you have to learn.
Crypto market is always here, the price could go up and down, what you need is just timing but you won't be able to do that without patience.

I don't want to say I am perfect as I also made some mistakes selling, but that mistake was due to the fact that I don't have a choice anymore, I need money that time so I have to sell at a loss, but I learn I should not get anything from my investment and I should be willing to hold it for long term.

There will be bull run and we will see another ATH of bitcoin and altcoins, that's what I am hoping now.

We have seen many similar topics around here about people who bought on top and sell on bottom. I agree with you that
newbies without experience get trapped all the time, especially in the times when volatility is huge. I agree with you about
other things as well, we all need to learn more and get experience, nobody is perfect.
I am sure that we will see another price surge of Bitcoin and alt-coins. That will happen in the next few years, now when we
are seeing the global economy crash there's no other option for people, Bitcoin or broken economy.
845  Other / Off-topic / Re: Coronavirus Prediction Thread on: March 25, 2020, 02:28:23 PM
I wish it would be at least late of Q2 or in Q3 of this year .
I think if this continue some country might fall or be hard to survive.

I voted for Q2, but it can spread through Q3! It can't last more than that I believe, in China there's no more spreading, with this
hard measures  soon we will see the end of corona, but I am afraid about what's coming after! Inflation because of the massive
money printing announcements, destroyed businesses. All I know is that consequences will be hard!
846  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin do you trust, BNB or ETH? on: March 25, 2020, 11:55:21 AM
As the poll shows, more people here trust Ethereum more, I am one of them. After all Ethereum is longer with us, it's more decentralized
than Binance, with more DApp`s.
That doesn't mean that Binance is bad, not at all! Binance is a great exchange, with a lot of things going on, about many of them we
already discussed here on forum.
I have both! I have more Ethereum's because I started investing in ETH first.
847  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reputation at stake will you stop gambling on: March 25, 2020, 09:04:11 AM
Ok you are gambling just for fun, your friends and neighbors knows that and a friend invited you to his party to be one of the candidates as a councilor and campaign will start in 6 months, now, of course, you need to have a good reputation, will you stop gambling just to have a good image this coming campaign and how will you defend yourself if accused as a gambler.

It all comes down to your country laws, is it legal or illegal to gamble in your country? If it's illegal I wouldn't do it in the first place,
but if it's legal and I do gamble with my own money why would I stop it? Second question is are you responsible gambler, you know
how much you can spend, you never borrow money for gambling or neglecting all other life aspects because of the gambling.
In my country I wouldn't stop gambling, I would continue to be myself and to do what I like to do and how I like to do.
848  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Airdrop Discussion on: March 24, 2020, 10:56:19 PM
I do not understand about your statement. Other users say to avoid airdrops, instead you say you get a lot of benefits from airdrops. if you feel confident about your decision to follow the airdrop, just please, because I am not too serious in following the airdrop

Mostly airdrops don't worth the time and effort. Some of the airdrops ask for KYC and make everything more complicated
than it is. OP had luck with his airdrops, maybe he is good at researching or he follow some group that gives good signals
for higher paying airdrops. I didn't had luck with airdrops and in more than 50 airdrops I had luck just two times in the
beginning, from all other airdrops I didn't got a few dollars.

849  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can ETH reach $5k in this up cycle ? on: March 24, 2020, 08:40:24 PM
In general, in the future, I think ETH will be able to reach $5000, but in this and in the coming years clearly ETH is not able to grow so much in price.

Well said, in general Ethereum is capable of achieving $5k one day! Here we talk about the next 5 years minimum. I believe in Ethereum in
long-term, and I plan to accumulate more.
Ethereum is good investment now, I don't believe that we will have a pleasure to buy at this price for longer, at least that's my opinion.
850  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which cryptocurrency do you use for gambling frequently? on: March 24, 2020, 06:50:25 PM
Doge is my favorite alt-coin for gambling. Low value, very low minimal bets, I don't risk much! For betting on sport usually I bet with
Bitcoin! I tried some other alt-coins for playing dices and other lucky games, but Doge is the best for me! I wanted to try gambling
with Tron, but minimal bets there are like 10 TRX, more or less, it's expensive for me and I can't gamble relaxed!

Which platform are u using for gambling with Doge? There is not much choices gambling with Dogecoin.
Usually you can BTC and ETH in gambling platforms.

Fortune Jack and Stake.com, both are good. With a search in the google you will find many casinos that accept Doge.
I know that with Bitcoin and Ethereum you have more choices, more casinos and more games to play, but I don't like to
spend BTC and ETH on gambling, with Doge I just have fun and I enjoy playing dices occasionally!
851  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading signals... on: March 24, 2020, 11:22:30 AM
   Three successful trades, good job!
I see many people wonder how do you do it, but not me! It's your way and I respect that, if you wish you will share it with us here,
but it's not polite to ask something like that!
Thanks for sharing good signals, I hope we will see more signals from you! I will follow your next signal!

853  Economy / Speculation / Re: Convert or HODL? on: March 23, 2020, 08:26:48 PM
After recent dump is it still safe to hodl on to our existing bitcoin or convert it to USDT? I have just converted my bitcoin into USDT and I will be monitoring the market closely with multiple reminders to buy back when the value starts increasing so that I don't use my existing balance and eventually buyback more than I have right now? How many of you agree with my idea? Kindly share your suggestions.

Great idea, you made the right choice. Wink

You've converted independent money that nobody can take from you (Bitcoin) into worthless fake USDt that isn't even backed 1:1 by USD but is trying to make people think that it is. You have effectively changed digital gold to an IOU and on top of that you did it after a major dump orchestrated by Bitmex and some other leveraged trading exchanges.

Pixie85 you made a clear point here. Many people don't understand the true power of Bitcoin, and I must add some other
alt-coins. There is more behind crypto-currencies than just a dollar value, but many don't see that. They just think how much
dollars they can make.
I didn't sell anything! My portfolio is down a lot, but I don't care, I think Bitcoin is the future. Some people make a difference
between centralized and decentralized systems, and with time there will be more of us who understand it!
854  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Physically vs Gambling Online Using Crypto on: March 23, 2020, 05:51:57 PM
If you are a gambler and you live in one of those countries that currently observe home quarantine or lock down, for sure you are so thankful someone invented online gambling. In my case, to kill my boredom since I need to stay in doors, I play dice and poker. No need to travel since we are not allowed to cross another city.

Now when all casinos are closed because of the virus, online gambling is having a good moment. Generally I think online gambling
is becoming more popular these days, but I am not sure about do they gamble in fiat or crypto casinos. I would like to think that
crypto-gambling is the first choice for many people, but who knows.
I gamble with crypto-currencies almost a year. In this situation now I am happy I chose to gamble with crypto-currencies instead
with fiat.
855  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The door is never closed to new traders on: March 23, 2020, 11:57:54 AM
Yes the door isn't closed to new traders, it is opened to everyone who wants to, however let it be known that crypto trading comes with a lot of carefulness, that is, knowledge of trading is very important. Therefore in order to get this knowledge, the person needs to learn it, ask questions, or even possible get a couch who can help set him on the right path. No one goes into trading without the right knowledge, and in as much as it is possible to make profit it is also possible to lose a whole lot. Thus, those asking certain questions, I don't really blame them.

People should know how to be careful with money before trading. In trading people should be extra careful, handling with money
all the time demands that.
We can't blame people for asking certain questions, I agree with that. But those who ask questions should try to do some research
before they repeat a question that is asked so many times.
856  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why is everyone expecting continuous growth? on: March 22, 2020, 06:02:44 PM
You can't generalize! Not everyone is expecting continuous growth, among many others I don't expect that. Anyone can see
that in my comments, I am for long-term holding, minimum 2 or 3 years. Big things do not happen after night, we need to be
patient, as I said many times this is only the beginning. I believe that we are still in the early stages, crypto-currencies has to
grow a lot more to become globally accepted and used, which will happen one day!
857  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the position of the gambler in the market? on: March 22, 2020, 09:03:02 AM
My idea of gambling property is very low and I did not dare to go to the marketplace with gambling to stay in danger.  Want to get experience with gambling and how can I gain experience with gambling?
Risk not only in gambling but you can find it somewhere else.

You can't learn how to drive a car if you don't try it. This is similar to gambling, you'll need to try gambling to learn how it works and to know also if it really works for you back then. But I have to tell you, never overly think that gambling will be an easy way to make money nor you'll be lucky all the time coz that is quite impossible. Expect more losses than of winnings mate.

He practically needs to get hands on gambling to know what it's like. And yes, he should not treat gambling as source of any income or of that sort because it is not. You will lose more than you win here. Start small and he will already know the gambling experience, the adrenaline rush is getting higher once your bet is getting higher also. But if the OP is not willing to lose, better forget gambling.

You can't learn anything without getting your hands dirty! Preparation for getting your hands dirty is important, you need to have
some basic knowledge about what you getting into, to know what you can expect and to be prepared for all that.
Losing some money shouldn't be a problem as you say Twinklede, who is not ready to lose some money in order to learn about gambling
and have a chance to win more shouldn't gamble at all!
858  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin season question on: March 21, 2020, 10:06:42 PM
After reading few posts on this forum today I became confused because and I decide to let it out to get answers in return, is it possible for altcoins to grow (altcoin season) without Bitcoin? I'm not talking about pumps like if a coin get burned off it's max supply or if listed on binance and other top exchanges, I'm talking about every altcoins surging on their own without Bitcoin taking the first step...
Share your thoughts, I would love to hear you out
Basically, all altcoins are influenced by Bitcoin. People have a habit that other cryptocurrencies are very dependent on Bitcoin.
But in fact, there are exceptions and they have a trend opposite to Bitcoin.

Destroyeroff98 these exceptions are rare, and mostly those exceptions are not significant price rises. When we have huge market
movement in any direction it's usually connected with Bitcoin. I don't remember some significant rise of any coin that passed without
previous Bitcoin rise.
Alt-coin season will come after Bitcoin make new ATH.
859  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the best project for investing in 2020? on: March 21, 2020, 06:43:39 PM
For the ICO project or IEO that just appeared in 2020, I can't give a recommendation..  my advice, if you want to try to learn to invest in cryptocurrencies, you should first try on cryptocurrencies that are in the top 100.  Bitcoin Cash, BNB, Dash, MCO, and OKB can be good choices.

Now when market is down, and when all top-coins are down, the best investment is in those top-coins. I think all new projects
are in huge problem now, people will save crypto-currencies they have, while prices are down with money people have they will
rather invest it in some top-coin than in some new project, it's my opinion and it's what I do, I bought some Bitcoins couple days ago
and I will buy more Ethereum with my first money, if I am lucky price will drop a bit more so I can buy more with money I plan to have.
860  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hodl altcoins or..? on: March 21, 2020, 11:02:52 AM
It won't hurt to hold both bitcoins and altcoin, I feel it's going to be a long ride before market recovers, if you're not that good with trading then be prepared for a long term hold, it can take months for Bitcoin to recover finally but the profits will be bigger

Crypto-portfolio should have Bitcoin, Ethereum and other alt-coins. For me crypto-portfolio without Bitcoin and couple other alt-coins
is not a full crypto-portfolio.
I hold my portfolio tight now. Like before I still invest from my salary, and this current prices are so tempting for investing more, at least
for me. I could save all my money and invest now at this prices, that would be awesome. I don't plan to sell, but I think all the time where
to find more money for investing now while entire market is down.
