2018 has been one of the worst years if not the worst in the crypto industry. We had so many ups and downs but we are still around and looking forward to making it happen once again as it has always been. But amidst fhe turbulence that occurred there's still one thing I'm happy for, and that's some "psychopaths" failed their mission.
We all thought we had reach a bottom around 6K until some few people decided to ruin everything for all of us. Gladly, their mission failed (well, for now) and I'm really happy for that. I hope the same happens to anyone who tries to ruin Bitcoin's price furthermore.
Now Bitmain has layed off workers, boycotted plans to launch a subsidiary at a new country and having leadership troubles and oh, people aren't purchasing their mining rigs as before. Their best solution was to help find a way to pump Bitcoin but they ruined it.
If you have a product, start something and don't try to kill Bitcoin because ultimately you'll end up with undervalued coins.

waoo! Never think it in this way until I read what you have posted. Cryptocurrencies market has a very bad 2018 and it seems it has nock many of those big guy out of the market. I think many developers and projects owners tried to kill bitcoin by making some investments decision and that had really turned against them as most of the coins we thought will do well has followed bitcoin in downturn. My point is not to trade in the markets you see is not transparent and not protected by law. In a nutshell, if the Crypto brothers want to trade successfully, (1) trade only the top coin, since it is harder to trade, (2) study more technical analysis, and learn from forex traders year, because they have good ptkt platform, suitable for speculation.  Cryptocurrencies is still at the early stages and since inception till date I don't think you have gaining experience that is greater than some one that has been a forex trader for 20 or 30 years. I don't think we have done enough here to become a professional trader. To succeed in trading need higher intelligence and experience and that is why we would need experience forex traders to teach and explain to us about trade. An experience forex traders knows about technical and fundamentals indicators that move the market and by then give cryptocurrencies traders advice on trading. |

There are now altcoins that surpasses bitcoin in terms of speed in transactions. Actually, Ethereum became more popular because it now surpasses the VISA in transaction. I am sure that altcoins will have a important function in the cryptocurrency market in the future.
You just post the reality. Take ethereum as an example, it was created to surpass visa in speed and that is working perfectly. Some of the altcoins have more powerful security than bitcoin and in future I strongly believe that countries are going to prefer the used of altcoins than the banking and financial system we are currently using. I see this as a great news if it is truth because the Chinese traders are one of the largest in the market and any things that will bring them back into the market is a welcome development. There is nothing wrong with price of bitcoin be a bubble because, every market has there own bubble time to time. I am not a bearish trader but of a truth the market will still go down and that doesn't mean bitcoin is bad or something bad is happening to the market. It means cryptocurrencies market is reacting to fundamentals and technical information or indicators. 2011, we have this story of bubble market and in 2017 , the bubble issues still come up again. We don't have to see ETF approval for now and never because it is used by whales to manipulate the prices so the people who are looking for the approval will get disappointed when its not going to happen.
But surely yes the market will recover in future and we need to be strong and hold more potential crypto currencies as much as e can and better avoid ICO investment until the market fully gets recovers.
I know that the whales are going through the sec in other to be able to manipulate the market using ETF issues but I think they have done over due and now we are to expect them to approve ETF very soon. The market has been dumping from the last year peak and I think we should not be happy concerning the current state of the market. I meet one of my friends that bought bitcoin January last year and it has been holding it up till now and he said he is regretting investing into cryptocurrencies. I could remember he bought around $15,000 then. I don't think it is a wost situations right now but we just need to be able to make analysis of what happened in the past in other for us to know were the whole thing are heading to.

For some of us that has invested into some kind of icos and cryptocurrencies market generally are at the losing end now and many are discourage about the market performance. I believe that if you invest into any altcoins and icos in 2017 and you did not sell then your investments should all be in red right now. Speculators has tried to encourage us that we should keep investing and the future holds great price upwards movement for us. I think we should not ignore their advice as cryptocurrencies market is going to recover and it will resume it upwards movement again when ETF is approve. I think the market conditions for 2019 are still very weak, and with the recovery at the price of 6k - 7k I think that has become a good price.
In January bitcoin and cryptocurrencies market don't always perform well and this year is not going to be an exception. Poloniex is also a crypto exchange platform. But I don’t know that poloniex is safe or not. I don’t know about their withdraw fees. Poloniex is totally unknown for me. Most of the money and profits I made in 2017 was from poloniex. And I still hold them with high regard. Though volumes of trade keep on reducing throughout 2018 I think in terms of integrity and customers services I still give it to poloniex as I have never have any problems with them through out my trading with them. Currently I do trade through binance and that is because of volume and the option I have over there. Binance start from a very humble beginnings to build one of the strongest and secure trading platform. Many altcoins and tokens are listed in binance , this creates liquidity in my trading. |

well I also think that bitcoin is already hit the bottom so it's good to buy bitcoin now, hopefully bitcoin will not go down again.
The current price might not be the bottom and if you have in mind to buy at the bottom then you should still hold on as the bottom seem to be below 200ma on the weekly chart. However, if you are a day trader you can takes little profits along the way as the market is moving along side ways and we might trying to take advantage of this in our investments process. I strongly believe that bitcoin is going to recover this year and even at the current price is a good bargain! Yes! many people who are new in this industry doesn't have enough knowledge about cryptocurrency although they have idea about it, they don't fully understand how it works especially blockchain. I admit to myself that i don't understand 100% all about bitcoin and cryptocurrency.
Blockchain technologies is the future of our financial system and though people did not know the technicalities of it but they are investing in it. The people that invested in icos and new projects did not know how it works and what they are really putting their money in but had about how people are doubling their investments and went into it and at the end lose their funds. From the last three months prices of Bitcoin are range bound and hovering around 3600$ .It seems that the prices are settled and waiting for the uptrend movement . Is it the start of the journey towards 20000$ again?

I will not advice you to invest into any icos or new project now as the reason why people are losing money in cryptocurrencies is because of this. I think you should do your own research and invest into those genuine coins like bitcoin itself, ethereum and litecoin since there are very cheap now!
