841  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Do people have to pay taxes on Bitcoin? on: January 15, 2019, 03:40:35 PM
Tax law is dependent on your country and locality. Recently in the United States, the IRS has declared that Bitcoin is to be treated as property, not currency, for tax purposes. All income in the US is taxed, regardless of what form it takes. If you’re paid in bitcoins, you’re supposed to pay taxes on your earnings at the BTC/USD exchange rate when you receive payment.

Is it a good decision or bad?
I believe that being a person living in one state or country has rhe obligation to pay taxes when we gain profit by any means, and that includes cryptocurrency..we are entitled for our freedom to find ways of income but we have no freedom to not pay for taxes, and even in caesar’s time according to bible all the people live in rome required to pay taxes,so what more in our time that infrastructures and building are being built continuously to help us,and become comfortable
842  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-01-07] Chinese Analysts: Bitcoin Bear Market - 2019 on: January 15, 2019, 03:05:58 PM
I have read like this predictions from 2018 and i guess this is something we must believe in,market will continue dumping for this 2019 as theres no indications of ETF and the market keeps on going red and green so i only hope that atleast we can have some good movements this 2019

At the end of 2017 there was a price increase. Then until that moment there was a gradual decline. So again there will be a rise soon! Am I wrong? It seems to me that everything is very simple, you just need to follow the laws of the market.
So what would be the laws of the market?and when was that soon be happening?anyone of us can say bukl market will come soon, but the specific date cannot be provided because of volatility
843  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this a new BIG BTC buy signal??? on: January 15, 2019, 12:44:13 PM
If they are to invest in BTC why would they just put $10B that is too small for the risk.
But if its true, it still can be making the price go up a bit. There are few things they would consider before doing so, why BTC when they do have their own like ETH. Easy for them to do that.
That's it mate, knowing how russian governments assets ,i dont think they will just invest $10billion when they are fighting against US government, they can put a trillion dollars to make the evasion more efficient, but the sad thing is the two big countries lik US and Russia will not go this area of battle instead they will have for sure more accurate strategy than using the decentralization of cryptocurrency
844  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your favorite crypto Youtube channels? on: January 15, 2019, 12:34:47 PM
There are many crypto Youtube channels out there, what are some of your favorite ones, and why? I am finding more and more bloggers, but not so many good ones. Please share the ones that stand out for you most.

I am currently a fan of:

Crypto Daily, because of his enthusiasm while being informative: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC67AEEecqFEc92nVvcqKdhA

Journeyto100K, he produces some really good content and is transparent: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC188KLMYLLGqVJZdYq7mYFw

Crypto Tonight, the most craziest crypto channel out there, but informative at the same time: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC9E_uqML9NFLc-Gk6KgbWuA

AltcoinBuzz, daily quality content/news: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCGyqEtcGQQtXyUwvcy7Gmyg
Never had specific YouTube channel following, instead i just watched random videos that catch my attentions,or answering my question about what j wanna hear, but thank you for this links so now i can save then for further watching, though i found out that many youtubers nowadays that has been used this channel just to mislead or have victimized their followers,so for people out there better have a caution when trying to access some videos about crypto.
845  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: would u open a loan to buy the dip? on: January 15, 2019, 12:25:15 PM
would you open a loan to buy the dip? and when it dips again you would open up another loan to buy the dip. and lets say repeat the process. probably no one is doing this. because being in debt is a bad thing. just depends on far u would invest into bitcoin or even crypto currency. sad it has to dip in the first place.
Thats the most desperate thing a cryptonians can do.having a loan just to risk for a market  that can assure you no time of profit?i will definitely not do this for assuming, never forget that the volatility of cryptocurrency is indeed, and we can never tell untill things happen either to grow or to dip so stop this thinking and just buy what you can afford to lose
846  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I LOST OVER 10 BTC IN GAMBLING IN 2018 on: January 14, 2019, 02:23:58 PM
And that's a lesson, don't risk it, don't be a hero always, if you have enough then don't settle for more because its win it or lose it all, being blinded around money and gambling is dangerous, you won't notice it unless you lose it, though you shouldn't yaddle it all the time, move on and pursue yourself on knowing how to get it all back, might as well go back to work instead of gambling.

If you  limit yourself and don't chase lost coins you will be fine. I won a bit this year on one day and took a break for a few weeks. When I came back I lost all my previous winnings and at that point I stopped again. In the end I didn't win big and I didn't lose. I learnt my lesson that is: easy come, easy go. I don't regret gambling. I regret not having more money to invest in Bitcoin.
YOu can call yourself as an ‘occasional gambler’mate while OP seems to be an gambling addict or bad to hear but he might be greedy.controlling ourselves whenever in gambling is really a hard task but worth full if you succeeded
Maybe you lost to one of these casinos Curacao licensing scam casinos list?

Then you have the right to get it back! Wink

how you assure me to recover these losses from casino lol any proof i will pay 10% of my whole losses if you recover me.
I am not about that recovery ,gambling sites are here to take all our money and not rewarding us fkr being a greedy gambler lol
847  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquaio vs. Adrien Broner on: January 14, 2019, 01:45:47 PM
Continuing on the link Kemarit shared, Pacquiao, Mayweather come face to face at Clippers game. Read the comments about the news.

https://www.boxingscene.com/forums/showthread.php?t=803493

The posters there are into boxing more than the average fan, I reckon. But a greater part of their comments do not want Floyd versus Manny 2.

Does that imply that such an event is not ready?

I guess it is not about readiness but instead this is about the fooling happens in the last bout

Imagine how expensive the tickets are, just to watch running styles of mayweather, and the injured arms movements of manny,so this means th interested people are not enough to bring this fight to reality
848  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 30 days x2 with DICE on: January 14, 2019, 01:38:08 PM
I guess it’s entertaining to drag it out over a month, but I hope you realize the odds of this succeeding are the same as rolling it all on 2x once.
i Drag it over a month because i want to make my self discipline and stay away from being greedy.
I play long enough to know how many is enough for one day.
Thanks for you advise. Cheesy
Being disciplined when it comes to gambling is really a admirable attitude since we know how hard it is,specially when time comes that winning is in your way .

I will bookmark this topic to find what happens in the next 30days or i mean 25 specifically from this day.

Good luck mate and looking forward for your journey to 30k dodge
849  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling addiction mainly due to loneliness and dissatisfaction? on: January 14, 2019, 01:25:40 PM
The very first time that i learn gambling is when i was young,we use to play some younger style of gambling and we are with a group so theres nothing to do with loneliness actually its a habitual and group enjoyment that even if someones got to win still he will share the winnings by buying foods and we will eat together..until when i get matured and goes to gambling places with my cousins and friends and even my wife when we were still dating,we use to go in casino to play some slots and roulette,so probably thats not the reason on becoming gambling addict
850  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Addiction Stories and Possible Solutions on: January 14, 2019, 11:03:36 AM
I recently heard a story about Gambling addicts from a worker who works as a manager on the floor. They are the ones who check and manages tables, and they are the one to approve different kinds of transactions there.

Anyways, it's about a person who is an addict who isn't going anywhere. He said that in his shift, let's say it's the morning shift, he saw the person there, playing. Nothing out of the ordinary, but when my friend says he is going out of his shift, he is still there, the player, so, at that time, it's quite okay because it's just almost 8 hours. When he came back the next day, that same guy with the same clothes is still there.

Just a reminder that there are people who really need help, but not interested in helping themselves.
I dont know whats this topic is all about,is this a story telling?or wanted to hear some other opinion?sorry for being sarcastic but i see nothing special in the thread, gambling addict can stand for even a week until they have a capital to bet,and besides this kind of story and even a normal gambler(not that addict)can play for atleast 3 days if thy are still winning
851  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My 2 cents on: January 14, 2019, 10:49:19 AM
This is just my two cents on bitcoin gambling.
.

My advice to you guys is that betting minimum on 2X with 100% increase on loss will NEVER pay your bill.
Lol why not just advice people to totally stop betting and just focus in their job.so they won’t have your failure and for sure sooner will be losing wife and children because of just a bad and stupid move

I am sorry for your loss but it is your fault because you made some bad decisions. Crypto has never been stable and quitting your job for it wasn't a good idea. It is good that you have learned to forgive yourself but now you need to find a good daily job and forget about bitcoin gambling for a while at least.
Year right, thats the most stupid action when someones get attached in cryptocurrency, quitting a job because they thought crypto is a gold mine.and the hardest thing here is OP got addicted to gambling while he has no work at all
852  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Want to quit? Here's how on: January 14, 2019, 10:15:23 AM
It depends on who wanted to quit, because if the person is just a typical gambler so maybe all that you give as an advices is applicable since quitting for them might not be that harder, but if we are talking for a gambling addicted then this are two different thing, yes they will be wanting to leave the addiction and go through life but this is not easy, this is a burden to everyone with this kind of situation so add some more valuable advices that what you have written in the OP

854  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let's kick some bear ass on January 30th! on: January 13, 2019, 09:17:01 AM
Every bitcoin holder needs to help make the price go up on January 30th!
Buy at least some amount of bitcoin this day and hold for 24 hours minimum.
Spread the word! Let's do this every month and win!
This is one good idea but i doubt people will take this into consideration since investing in crypto is not a joke and this lies our precious hard earned money.

If you really wanted this to happen, then start buying now and continue to focus on that,we might know more will follow your footsteps..

I am not doing anything now but just continue holding
855  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WHY ARE PEOPLE STILL CONDEMNING BITCOINS on: January 13, 2019, 09:03:29 AM
BItcoin is getting better and popular. As a matter of fact, so many gaint companies and industries are chipping in bitcoin and its activities into the operation.
It might interest you note than Mercedes Benz, BMW, Samsung, TECHNO and APPLE are all accepting bitcoins for their products.

Bitcoin is growing stronger, lets forget about the red on the market. WE WILL SEE GREEN SOON AND IT WILL BE ALL SMILES.
Those who are condemning bitcoin are the people that doesn’t know about cryptocurrency instead they are being encouraged by someone to invest because this community will bring them fortune and turns them to become a millionaire..

And this stupid idea is the reason why they are now in hard feelings toward bitcoin and other cryptocurrency because of the failure this brings to them
856  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: majority will lose money and minds on: January 13, 2019, 08:54:56 AM
The only reason why people buy bitcoin, is to make money. I believe in the tech, its the future blah blah blah. Your here to make "sick" gains, most will not have the stomach for it. How many investors bought 100 btc for $100 and sold them at $20,000 each, practically none.

Say bitcoin reaches $1 million and you invested now at $3800. You honestly think you wont sell when it hits $50,000 or any other figure that will improve your life significantly. Nobody knows if, when or how it will happen.

Don't waste your life waiting for a win, you will end up going crazy. Invest yeah sure, check it once a week / month on progress and just let it be man. For all we know, it could be outlawed and crash to $0 tomorrow.
So why are you so bitter of bitcoin crash to zero?does if affected you?if not then stop crying because we dont care about your sentiments,we are here to risk our hard earned money for the future of the technology and of course the profit, but what ever cones first wasnt you problem anymore so better get loss, find a job and leave crypto community, because we don’t need stupid weak here
857  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH and BTC bottom 2019 on: January 12, 2019, 04:30:31 PM
What is everyone predicting as the bottom on the market for ETH and BTC for 2019

Well I believe that the bottom for the two top coins had already reached and what we are waiting now is the growth, the market had been in this bad shape for more than a year now and from this the bottoming i believe was done

Just give it another couple of months or a year then the full bloom will be indeed, hold on and keep the faith guys
858  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bull Run on January, February or March? Your Predictions please...... on: January 12, 2019, 04:18:45 PM
What month will bull run starts? I can't wait to see my portfolio increases up to 100 times after joining so much bounties and got potential altcoins that will bring me to riches. When shall I see it?
Let me consult my Magic Ball first then i will share it to you 😂😂😂

Everyone hopes that the bull run will come soon this year, but in reality it is very difficult to guess. Even with the hundreds of coins we get from gifts we cannot guarantee that we will be able to get a lot of profits.
Everyone seems to be hoping that bull run should happen, i guess who else would want to stop this bearishness of the market? Even me, i got so tired of waiting and holding a bunch of tokens in my portfolio but i can't do anything but to wait. Everyone was so curious about of when would be the bull market start. As far as i know, no one knows when it will be.
DEFINITELY mate,if we only know when this will happen, for sure we will withdraw all our assets to invest to crypto
859  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Next big ICO on: January 12, 2019, 03:53:01 PM
hi guys,

what do you guys think will be the next big ICO?

please kindly provide a reason also.

many thanks
SInce this thread has been asked 8 months ago so i guess you did find some good answer from the commentary, but i will still give my own advice because finding ICO that is legit these days very hardly to find.

But try to check Bountyhive projects ,they are promoting good and reliable ICO from my knowledge,so looking at their handled project might bring you good answers
860  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The Next Bullrun on: January 11, 2019, 06:00:49 PM
Let me get this straight 2019 will be better than 2018 but don't expect too much from it ,even if ETF and bakkt get approved ,that won't trigger the next bull run ,let's start waiting for the next bitcoin halving because that's when the next bullrun will triggered.
So who’s your source for this Speculation?you dont even bother to put atleast supporting link here and you wanted us to believe you?lol ETF will never come to reality so stop putting that into something real

Bitcoin will stay in this position for atleast another year or two.because the bubble that happen last 2017 is still under recovery
