How it will work if implement backup Phrase for recover Bitcointalk account? Recover hacked account become impossible for Bitcointalk lately. Not much response from admin for recover account. On current system there is no other option to recover hacked account except admin help. Backup Phrase (12 word) will allow user to recover password himself. Usually hackers change mail after hacked account or hacked with mail. In that case its very difficult to recover account. I am wondering if backup Phrase or similar something implement for forum, it will easy and safe for recover account.

If some one activate backup Phrase and wrote down on hard paper than user could recover account himself even hacker change email address. However, I think there should be something to recover account by user. We can see many account recover request on meta. I would like request to admin please help them (ASAP) who have enough proof of ownership. And think something new to recover account by user himself.  

Most annoying word for me on bitcointalk are mostly use on Announcements (Altcoins) board.

If an ICO not meet the soft cap it means they should return fund of investors. If they really return raised fund to investors in case they aren't meet soft cap than you shouldn't call them scammer due to they didn't distribute token to bounty participant. But I don't think so any ICO will return fund if they never meet with soft cap. They will just skip with fund. No one can say they meet soft cap or not. Reality only know team. If their aim is for scam there is no meaning they meet hard cap or soft cap.

+ve trust never hold any weight it self, it doesn't mean you should trust him blindly. There is a comment why DT2 trust him. It might be campaign or trading something. I can trust you for any specific reason, it doesn't mean I am selling positive trust. Same as for DT2. If they leave positive feedback there is specific reason. But now a days DT forgot there is a neutral option to handle such as feedback although I will not consider it trust abuse but they should use neutral feedback occasionally.

However you should see the comment why a user got positive feedback before make any transaction or trading. All positive trusted people's couldn't trusted for you. That's depend on you.

Finally I was asked manager to delete their bounty and ANN. Eventually he deleted bounty and ANN still live. I had ask again to deleted it. I leave neutral feedback for that. If I found future he made any thread with this kind of fake project, or not agree to delete ANN Thread,I will leave him negetive feedback and I will notice to DT also. No more excuse will be for this kind of work.

Exactly , need 300+ report to show this page. Usually they will able to see only good and bad post count if less than 300 good report. But in order to show page like I posted must need 300+ good report.

I will not trust screenshot or I will send merit them for screenshot. I will visit their profile history if screenshot is here. It doesn't mean they will merited for good report. They will merited if quality or useful post on their history. Also they are not able to preview this page if they don't have enough report.

To be honest I am not agree with demerit system. I don't believe that merit could be send by mistake. It's not same as Facebook like that could be press by mistake. During meriting time there is new tab, that means you are fully aware that you are going to merit someone. On the other hand once you are meriting someone you are meriting on post, you are not consider a person. Same thing for others people also. Say someone merited me on a post,  but in case after few days if they aren't agree with me for any reason than may be some one will think I will demerit my merit. It's just example, but I think it would be happen. I don't think it will be fair.

If you think for source of demerit like current merit source than also I am not agree. You will se many accusation against them. Adding demerit source means merit will moderated by forum. So it would be easy to question forum. And it's more difficult to identify who are really abusing. Without proper explanation couldn't be demerited. You can see sometimes there is accusation also against merit source regarding merit abuse. So you can imagine how many accusation will be against demerit source.

For me current merit system is working fine. Just we need to follow who are abusing merit system and identify them for tag. I know merit abusing increase after implement new rules. But I don't think it will longer as well they are getting red tag if caught.

Most of merit spend on local board. Although I don't know language but it's seems to me clear merit abuse. Hope DT will handle it. His last post on March 29, 2018. That's means he just woke up for merit abuse  .
