What's happening with PD 5 lol, every time i click on roll, i'm taken to crash reporting page. any fix for that? btw nice job on PD 5 looks really nice. Smiley
Getting the same problem on Chrome but trying it on Mozilla FireFox as well as Opera all my bets run smooth. So I am guessing it has something to do with my Chrome browser connecting to the website or my Plug-ins are not working properly with Chrome, which also happens to other sites I visit. Clearing Cookies, registries, and cache also does not solve the problem. I also have tried to re-install Chrome and failed to fix anything.

My guess is you got some Driver problem or maybe low on ram.

Chrome works perfectly for me and same with Mozilla Firefox.

If you are also mining Ethereum or ZCash on the same rig, then you are most likely running out of resources which can cause this.

Don't think it's an issue with the website.
8402  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GPU Mining Historical Charts in USD/Day on: April 14, 2018, 11:52:37 PM
Weekly update

ETH

Looks like the profitability has improved slightly since the dip last week. Currently we are back at the mid March profitability levels. So we are making 30% more profit this week compared to the last

ZEC

Similar story here. Basically since ZEC didn't move up as much as ETH it's only 20% more profitable than last week. The Nvidia people will be happy.

XMR

Biggest difference is XMR basically half the difficulty has disappeared and we are at +60% more profitability compared to last week. The VEGA owners must be really happy.
8403  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: XFX RX 470 RS. Should I buy it in now ? on: April 14, 2018, 10:01:22 AM
Hi guys, I am getting a offer for brand new XFX RX 470 RS 4g for approx $350. Should I buy it even though Bitmain will release ethash miner. Once they are sold out I won't be able to get them at this price again. The closest I will get will be $446 for RX 570 4gb or $453 for  RX580 4gb.

I could buy 6 or 12 cards. What do you think or should I wait for Nvidia cards.

If you go on eBay and look there were many auctions where you could of gotten a RX 470 for about $200.

Same with the 1060 and the 1080, many of them are either at MSRP or below.

So unless BTC goes above $10000 next week, the deals will still be happening.
8404  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Taxes for mining income (anyone use Bitcoin.tax) on: April 14, 2018, 08:39:46 AM
Yes importing the mining income seems pretty easy. Already done that part.

The issues I am having is with the capital gain calculations after I loaded Poloniex trade data. For some reason certain trades are reporting incorrectly. There is a margin trade that I closed but it registers it as still being active.

Anyone getting any bugs while importing Poloniex trade data?
8405  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ANY WORD ON 3GB CARDS....ARE THEY STILL ABLE TO MINE ETHEREUM/ ETC on: April 14, 2018, 04:17:43 AM
No you can't mine ETH or ETC with 3Gb cards

You can either mine lower dag coins like Music or Expanse

Or if you got a r9 280x you can mine ZEC pretty profitably right now. You should get 320hs with that GPUs.

8406  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Taxes for mining income (anyone use Bitcoin.tax) on: April 13, 2018, 10:00:16 PM
In the past I did all the mining and capital gain taxes manually, which is very tedious work.

Wondering if anyone had luck with a service such as Bitcoin.Tax if you mostly mined alt coins such as ETH,
ZEC, DCR,SC and sold those for BTC. Then you hodl'd that BTC that you later sold for fiat and withdrew.

Issue I find with Bitcoin.Tax is that you can only include ETH in your mining income section. How can you include other coins such as ZEC and DCR? There is a way to include it manually by going date by date per coin would be even more tedious.

So if I upload my Poloniex trade history, it will have mostly orders for selling ZEC for BTC but how will it work since the program doesn't know how I acquired the ZEC to be able to sell it.

Seems that Bitcoin.Tax is not very friendly to miners.

Let me know your input

It looks nice but a little pricey for my tastes.

8408  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price increases 1000$ in 10 minutes - why? on: April 12, 2018, 11:59:53 PM
Here is my take on what happens next

This entire $8000 spike completely fades and we go back down to the $6500, possibly breaking $5800 and going to $5000

If this run up holds and in the next few hours or day it heads into the $8500 area then quite possibly $5800 was the yearly low.

I just think too many people lost money by buying Bitcoin, so they all went short to make some of it back which lead to this incredible short squeeze
8409  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GPU mining will die in 2018! on: April 12, 2018, 10:55:11 PM
I think  GPU mining will not die this year and in the next too. There will always be coins that can be mined. The question is to preserve and increase profitability. As for ASICs, after Monero and other alts have switched to other encryption algorithms, I think that ASICs producers will no longer be able to manufacture this equipment.

Monero had a very low miner reward. Hence the reason why it was profitable for like 2 days before evening out.

The issue is more with ETH. If ETH goes away then GPU mining will die. We won't be mining just to make 10 cents a day.

1) ETH goes POS - This is provably about a year or two away and not an issue

2) Bitmain keeps building more and more ASICS - Difficulty will keep increasing linearly

3) GPU manufactures keep increasing their production of GPUs - Difficulty will increase linearly

4) ETH price crashes and goes to like $50/$100 a coin. - Most likely to kill GPU mining fast
8410  Economy / Gambling / Re: Pornhub Casino now accepting bitcoin and many other cryptocurrency! ph.casino on: April 12, 2018, 10:50:15 PM
I think this website should be reported, not from being a scam but because of the word being used is abbreviated ph.casino.com  sounds like philippines. Casino.com, I think it is better to use the real name in order for them not to bump any other sides, even thou pornhub is ban in some country. And as I have read this site is not being promoted to the original pornhub site? How come?

The ph abbreviation doesn't mean anything. There are many different words which ph can stand for. PH is also a type of hydrogen even in Chemistry. If this site was originated from the Phillipines it would of had the abbreviation at the end.

They are basically separating themselves in case of tough government regulation and they don't want their main money maker site to get deceased access. Bitcoin gambling is already a Grey area and they are just being cautious.
8411  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: HELP: Temperature high in custom closed air rig on: April 12, 2018, 09:11:09 PM
Just today I transformed my 12*1050ti tower rig (6 on each side) into closed air rig with one exaust and 2 intake fans
But to my surprise the temperature of gpus increased by 4 Celsius. What could be wrong ? My exaust is very powerful and so are my two intake fans. So the pressure should be fine. My rig is still not completely vaccum. There are many big holes that needs to be filled. Will making it completely vaccum decrease the temp ?

If you want a closed air rig to work you need powerful fans that provide enough pressure to keep a constant air flow.

Basically you need a bunch of industrial fans as push and pull and need them to cover most of the case space.
8412  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price increases 1000$ in 10 minutes - why? on: April 12, 2018, 09:08:37 PM
A lot of non sense replies here.

The reason why it went up $1000 almost instantly is due to a short squeeze.

Basically shorts were at an all time high at 40K BTC shorts and since they mostly shorted near the bottom an short squeeze was very possible.

After the short squeeze about 15K BTC had to be covered at a loss hence price kept rising.
8413  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Fortune Jack a Scam or are they Legit? on: April 12, 2018, 09:02:40 PM
beware , fortune jack boys are coming on this thread. lol xd Smiley  by the way fortune jack isnt really a scam because fortune jack is already been running for a long time up until now and they also have their own official thread and signature campaigns as well as forum advertising on this website. that is why i dont think they are scam although i did not ever try their casino because i rarely play gambling due to lack of funds.

And also , problems or issues do always happen on any site and platform even the legit and popular ones but that doesnt mean they are already a scam. You should better contact their support before acussing.

What do you expect? They are promoting FJ so it makes sense to support it. And the problem is that those who have been accusing FJ can't produce anything that will swayed a lot of members that is supporting FJ because its not just FJ fan boys are defending it, but those members we have been using the casino and getting their winnings on a timely manner.

I will consider FJ still a trusted and legit online casino games unless otherwise there are evidence that will point and make me change my decision and shift to other online casino.

I've been with FJ since 2014 or so. Basically slightly after it's inception and I've never had any issues or know of any verified fraud attempts.

Lately what is going on is this.

That large Bitcoin mixer website went out of business due to Feds closing in.

Since then many people have been using gambling sites as a way to mix their BTC since most gambling sites don't do any KYC or need to have verified accounts.

So people would deposit 10BTC, make 1 bet and try and withdraw right away. These types of behavior gets flagged for manual approved and the BTC deposit needs to be traced to determine if it didn't come illegally.

Fortunejack isn't the only gambling site with these issues. Primedice and Bitsler also had these issues.
8414  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What To Mine on: April 12, 2018, 09:24:05 AM
I am a fairly new miner. I have an RX580 and GTX 1080 in my computers for a total of 54.521 MH/s using PheonixMiner on Windows 10. I do not have the patience to wait days for a payout with ETH, so I mine UBIQ in a pool. Is this just a stupid decision, or do many people do this to receive coins quickly?

If you want the most profit with those 2 GPUs you should mine 2 algos seperately

Mine ETH with your RX580 you should get 30Mhs
Mine ZEC with your 1080, you should get like 600hs.

Don't mine ETH with your 1080. Weird memory and not optimized
8415  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins rallying on: April 12, 2018, 09:21:06 AM
Something tells me that these alts are rallying as a trap.

Basically they want to create a fear of missing out while everybody sells their BTC for the alts.

Then the alts start to dump while BTC makes a bottom and goes to $20k
8416  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When do you know its time to Stop? on: April 12, 2018, 09:08:21 AM
Stopping before you dry out of funds isn't a good indication on when you have to stop. It's time to stop when your appetite isn't with gambling anymore but what you have said is true that we don't have to wait until we lost everything.
If you are banking on when your appetite is not with gambling anymore, you will be so surprise at the way you are going to just keep gambling as the appetite keeps coming until you lose everything. If you cannot control that appetite based on your pocket or what you can afford to lose, then you should better be prepared for the coming days of living without food on your table even when you have the huge appetite to eat, because you have giving it all to the gambling appetite.

To stop at right time, we must have developed some strong will. It should always be more like having a set out principle for you and trying as much as possible not to screw it up. The temptations may want to come once in a while but that is where the principle and discipline kicks in. As long as you are able to control those impulses, it would be very easy for you to know how to monitor yourself and know when to call it quit at the right time, otherwise, if you cannot, it is then better not to even gamble at all.
Stopping at the right time or even at any time is not that easy once someone has developed the habit to gamble on daily basis. It just sounds easy but practical is at a whole different level. Gambling has an addictive nature due to the suspense, thrill, fear and money expectation it involves. The easy way to give up gambling does not exist. A person should keep this fact in his mind.

You need to understand that most people who go to the casino aren't gambling addicts.

And it's not only gambling where it's difficult to quit. Look at the Bitcoin speculation section and look at how many people over traded on margin and lost all their Bitcoin. Or the people who could of sold BTC at $20K but didn't and are now either sitting at break even or at a loss.

Whenever there is money involved, it messes with people's judegement and they all make irrational decisions.
8417  Economy / Gambling / Re: First Decentralized, Anonymous and Transparent binary options platform.. on: April 12, 2018, 06:34:17 AM
How can that stuff be decentralised when you guys will be the one processing the withdrawals and everything else ?
 - Is the code open-source ? NO
 - Is the platform transparent ? NO
 - Will you have KYC for very high withdrawals ? YES
 - Do you have a customer support ? YES

How does this make your platform decentralised or anonymous ?

Hello..
everything is processed automatically. it is true the dev wrote the codes but after that they have nothing to do with it again can't be influence...

Blockoptions has and will forever remain a decentralized platform. this is the git repo https://github.com/blockoptions there you will fine some commits.
bear in mind that blockoptions is still under dev. so code are still being tested and edited. when all is done, all the codes will be open source. clue of smart contract codes can be seen at https://etherscan.io/address/0xc8d0e0ca31f08d618521e9212e7bb255c4d18424#code

everything is transparent. you check the blockchain and do all the referring yourself. our code provider is https://www.cryptocompare/ everything can be check and verified.
Besides the platform and it's dev benefits nothing from you losing. this is pure peer peer trading.. traders trade and against bank rollers and anyone can become either.

NO KYC

Yes there is support. These changes nothing about the platform's vision.

will be happy to answer more of your questions
enjoy!!

Seems like your website is dead. Getting some service unavailable error.

Since you want this to be decantralized I am assuming this will have to run on the Ethereum network as a smart contract correct?

Where will you get your quotes from? Which providers?

How much capital will you have as a bankroll? Since players would be trading against you which is the house in this scenario?

8418  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cloudbet are crediting players with BCH; May the Fork be with you on: April 12, 2018, 06:29:58 AM
The best time to hand out the Bcash to your users should of been back in November or so.

Right now BCH is trading at a low price of $675. It peaked last year at $4000 and spent most of its time around the $1500 range.

Do you have a terms and conditions where if the BCH isn't claimed, you will keep it for yourself and consider it as a donation?
8419  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: 4 1080 GPUs for sale, here in continental USA, will PayPal or escrow. on: April 12, 2018, 02:20:43 AM
Sold the last 3 today, for $510 each, minus ebay fees and minus paypal fees.  Not the prices I wanted, but screw it, they weren't moving at higher prices, despite there being quite a few 1080s at prices above mine.

Better to take this now than to take less later.

I noticed a similiar trend and I think the reason why is because the 1080 is bad at ETH. If you had the 1080ti or the 1070 you would probably get closer to MSRP.

However due to that memory on the 1080, it makes it poor for ETH.
8420  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin prices may drop by the 17th this month on: April 12, 2018, 01:58:46 AM
I don't think this has an effect anymore.

Basically if your taxes are due on the 17th your payment already needs to be in the mail by then and you can't sell in the last few days.

It takes a while for the exchange to process your withdraw, you wouldn't do this last minute. Plus there could be bank delays.
