Also it says you have 0 confirmation deposits, however how will you deal with double spenders?

Basically a lot of casinos had issues with this where a gambler would quickly send a deposit, bet and if they lost they would attempt and double spend their deposit. So practically gambling risk free. Hope you guys have some protection against these types of actions.
This is not that big of an issue, in order to avoid these sort of bad praise the only thing they have to do is to delay the withdrawal without enough confirmation for the deposits they made and thereby avoid double spending issues, glad to see the new version and since you said it is easy to scale now to multiple currencies, have you planned what all currencies will be added in the first stage.

You probably don't know exactly the case adaseb is pointing, what you have said makes no sense. I will give you an example, I deposited 1btc, played it (not confirmed yet) and then lost it, now I have an option to double spend the inputs I used I will use it again in another transaction and with higher fees so basically I will not lose anything to PD but If I won I will wait until my transaction got atleast 1 confirmation and then free money for me.

But of course they will know it if any player is doing the double spend or not, they do not have this thing for quite some time because they already make their deposit instantly like many of other site do. So it just impossible for people to doublr spent their input. Anyway if you lose, you will just stay the same, there is no way you can get it back with double spent

They will only know if people double spend after they  lose their bet. It's easy to tell when a transaction is double spent. Problem is the receiver unless they are a large pool cannot do anything about it. If the roll is a winner then they won't double spend at all.

Stunna says that they use a threshold monitor and hopefully they will detect possible double spend transactions and make those confirm before crediting the account.

This is actually one of the reasons why many people were praising Bitcoin Cash because they removed the ReplaceByFee option which made double spends possible.

Yes this all seems like it's still risky but I guess the reason why they allow it is most likely to take advantage of people's greed and fear.

Someone goes bust after losing a 20 streak martingale game, they panic and want to go to break even. They deposit and instant confirmations allow the bad judgement to continue and causing even more losses for themselves.

If they have to wait until it confirms which can be anywhere between 10-30 mins, they might come to their senses and quit gambling for the day.

8422  Economy / Gambling / Re: Pornhub Casino now accepting bitcoin and many other cryptocurrency! ph.casino on: April 11, 2018, 09:45:16 PM
It seems that they might be related but for some weird reason they don't promote it on their main site.

The operators also look like they might be different however I think it's for liability reasons and what-not.

For example, if the governments try and shutdown the casino the main website Pornhub will still be operator since it makes them the main share of revenue.

The KYC is normal since they accept other payments method other than crypto. It's to prevent fraud and most likely for anti money laundering reasons.

We apologize for the broken images in the main thread. We are looking at a redesign actually and will get it up and running as soon as possible.

Also the Cryptopia has restarted the daemon that crashed a few days ago and deposits should be coming thru again.

Thanks for your patience.

With such a price, the ROI decreases. If Vitalik in August says that fork will be? What will happen? Will it be a heap of scrap metal? Again the uncertainty

He didn't say anything about a POS fork. He just said that Casper will be fully functional only on the test net.

Then they need to run it for like a year to make sure it's stable and fix any bugs.

No idea when the actual hybrid Pow Pos will happen however.
8425  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's CryptoNote Windows CPU Miner v4.0 on: April 11, 2018, 09:31:36 PM
anyone getting really inconsistent speed? im running 4770k which should be around 270h/s according to claymore. however, i can only hit it very rarely. most of it time, it hovers around 160-200 h/s which is significantly lower than 270...

running on supportxmr

Me too. i7-8700k before hard fork 280-380 h/s, now 180. Very annoying...

update: i try to start the miner again and again, and ohlala, the magic 380 h/s. But  i need restart about 10-20 times :-/

How much system ram do you have? How much virtual memory do you have set?

Try adding more system memory and see if it improves this slowdown. I get a similiar issue with GPUs on systems with too little ram.
8426  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are your news sources? on: April 10, 2018, 09:34:19 PM
The issue with these news sources is that most news releases have no effect on price.

And when there is something major, usually the market will move before you can read the headline and make a trade.

It's no different than the employment numbers that are released monthly. Sure if employment is good, you can profit off it by going long, however by the time the numbers reach you, it will already be too late.
8427  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / What is your favorite/greatest mining moment? on: April 10, 2018, 08:48:36 PM
Well it seems again that  mining is entering the territory of where mining profits = electricity cost

It's been a great 2 years of mining.

What is your greatest mining moment ? It can be when you started mining recently or when you CPU mined BTC with your Celeron processor back in 2010.

Mine would most likely be the launch of ZCash back in Nov 2016.

The ZCash launch was like no other. It's was a highly anticipated launch with a lot of interest and attention. There was even  a bunch of cloud mining companies go online just to provide ZCash cloud mining.

There were many GPUs miners which ran like crap. Genoil miner was famous for running 5 minutes and then crashing. We had to put it into a restart loop. Basically run 5 minutes and automatically restart which it would most likely crash. Claymore miner wasn't out yet.

The moment of launch was huge. Supernova pool and others were online. However most of the other pools had problems with payouts.

When it was finally listed on Poloniex price was a staggering $10,000 per coin. And as soon as the deposits were confirming the rush set in. To mine as many coins and possible and sell at 10BTC/ZEC.

Fortunately i started late but in that day I managed to ROI a GPU or two. The people who had more hashpower and managed to get the first deposits on Poloniex most likely ROI'd an entire rig.

Those were fun times and no sleep in Nov 2016. Because the miners were buggy and there were daily software upgrades that you had to take advantage of to get an edge. Profitability wise it was similiar to Jan 2018, but that first day of launch was simply crazy.

8428  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: AMD Radeon RX 500X series rumors! Is it still worth it? on: April 10, 2018, 08:36:25 PM
Surprised they are going 3 years with the same chips; Polaris.

Basically just like the Radeon 7870 -> 270X -> 370

Each one was clocked higher than the other but had the same Pitcairn chipset.
8429  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's CryptoNote AMD GPU Miner v11.3 on: April 09, 2018, 10:39:52 PM
If you guys are having stability issues try adding more RAM. By ram I mean he system memory not video memory.

If you got 4 GPUs you should have at least 8gb.

I think most of the issues are the system ram running out of memory and causing crashes.
8430  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM |Deposit 777 play with 1777 mBTC |Live Casino, Slots, Betting on: April 09, 2018, 09:18:13 PM
What was leaked exactly?

Email? Most likely
Usernames? Most likely
Passwords? Most likely
2fa recover codes? Not likely

What about your fortinejackpartner affiliate site?

Was anything leaked from that separate server? Usernames? Emails? Passwords?
8431  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Creators of Dicing 🎲 | 20 Billion Bets | 112+ BTC Jackpot! on: April 09, 2018, 09:14:10 PM
It's look great the new version of PrimeDice.

However it looks like now you are forcing users to create their own client seed? I don't think this is wise since most people will chose a nonrandom seed like "1234567890" or "111111111111". In the end I don't think it will alter the roll but it seems strange to do.

Either way, congrats and good luck on the new platform.
8432  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: AMD or Intel? on: April 09, 2018, 07:28:58 AM
There really isn't much difference except for the CPU pricing.

The motherboards pretty much cost the same.

If resell value is important you should get intel, they usually hold their value better than AMD and in higher demand.
8433  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Happy New Years! Seventh alt coin thread! on: April 09, 2018, 06:57:29 AM
Loving this XMR profitability. Hope it lasts for a couple weeks.
I think that unfortunately hashrate will redistribute much faster than that. Supply is very elastic.

Is anyone mining xmr with nvidia? I'm fully nvidia, on rvn at the moment, and wondering if it's worth switching…

get on it while its still profitable...

I have about 130khs pointed to NH and last night I saw a payment of 0.0436 BTC for a few hours.

There are a lot of crazy rich rentors out there...

Profitability is very quickly disappearing back to the ETH levels.

Right now only 50% more profitable with a regular RX 470.

Most likely over night it will even out and this week it will probably make ETH most profitable.
8434  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: I just sold all my alt coins that can be mined on: April 09, 2018, 06:55:19 AM
ASICs are nothing new to crypto.

They were started back in 2012 with Bitcoin and in 2014 with Litecoin? Would you still sell those coins?

With ETH it not really a big deal since it will go POS in the near future. It was never meant to stay on just POW forever.
8435  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bitmain E3 Ethash Miner ASIC (Shipping:16-31 July. $800 USD) on: April 07, 2018, 10:10:36 PM
It's funny how they just decide to add a 1 In front of the price.

Either they accidentally put in $800 and meant $1800 and took them a few days to notice.

Or they read everyone saying how it was "cheap" and they decided to raise the price.

I don't think it was the ETH statement. We all knew they wouldn't fork anyways .
8436  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Monero Fork in one day.. hash rate drop predictions ? on: April 07, 2018, 09:36:25 PM
Looks like the difficulty already has a steep drop.

However profitability wise... a RX 570 makes the same amount as ETH now.

Only difference is it uses a little leas power
8437  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 07, 2018, 12:15:46 AM
Pretty sure the reason why the price is crashing is due to people like this

Hi, Around January 7th I took out a loan against the house and I invested 12000$ in crypto and today of that 12k I have 1650$ left. I cant sleep at night. I am in a heavy depression. I bought everything at all time high and bought shitcoins such as verge trx poet paccoin and good coins- cardano. all my coins dropped hard. verge and trx recovered but i sold at 400 satoshi respectively. My goal is to at least be at neither positive or negatively. It will be my paradise if that happens. I need someone with years of financial experience to point me in the right direction to avoid losing 300k home and not end up on the street. This is not a cry for attention. Please do not be disrespectful and inhumane because in my last thread not only did I not get an answer I got laughed at and told that I got what I deserved hoping I will end up on the street and it really hurt my feelings because like everyone of you, I just want a chance at financial freedom. I want to provide for my family and make a difference in this world. I am still relatively young and I told myself if I ever achieve my ultimate goal my next goal is to help others in need. Please Help! Do you suggest for me to take out another private loan on my house for 10 000$ or should I work with what I have left? Thank you for your consideration and I truly value your time, reddit.

There is probably many of these situations where people borrowed money to buy crypto or mining equipment and will panic sell and cause market to go even lower.
8438  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Replacing sleeve bearings (with ball bearings) on: April 06, 2018, 10:56:46 PM
Pulling the blades takes like 10 seconds. Depending where the GPU is in the rig, I can even do it while it's still mounted.

I just used a string like floss and wrapped around 2-3 blades and another set of floss on the other 2-3 blades and comes out easy.

To replace the bearing you need to separate the stator from the plastic mount which is held on by glue. There is a very high chance of destroying the fan while separating the two. Since some fans use little glue others use tons which is very difficult to break apart.

I have the opposite problem with my cards.  The glue breaks free easily but the locking ring is so stiff that often something else gives before it does, which in one case was the spindle breaking free of the fan, and in another the circuit board pins pulling out of the solder joints.  I will try the string method however and see if that helps.

Strange. Maybe mine come apart easily because they are older and looser.

Breaking the glue on mine was very difficult.
8439  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Is your local Craigslist / Kijiji flooded with GPUs ? on: April 06, 2018, 08:34:28 PM
I am finally starting to see some deals.

Some GPUs are below MSRP even.

Especially the 1060 and 1080.

It's funny how someone is selling 5 video cards and says "never mined with"
8440  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Replacing sleeve bearings (with ball bearings) on: April 06, 2018, 08:47:18 AM
I've done this also and it's just way too time consuming.

With the gigabyte wind force I just pull the fan blades and oil the bearing. Usually lasts a month to 6 months before I need to repeat the job.

I keep thinking "mining might be dead soon" so these temp fixes are adequate enough.

I think I did a gigabyte 7950 like 8 times already. Been using that one since like 2013. And mining still hasn't died.

Thing is pulling the fan blades is where all the risk and difficulty is.  If I can do it once, I can replace the bearings so hopefully never have to do it again.  And when the day comes to sell the cards, I can do it in good conscience.
