8441  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buy in or opt out? on: June 12, 2018, 05:54:56 PM
in this market when you are in doubt the best course of action is to simply stay away from it. just keep holding your fiat (USD,...) until your doubts are lifted or at least reduced to a level when you can feel confident enough to buy back in.
this may mean losing some opportunities such as buying the very bottom but it is always best to be safe than sorry.
Yes. However, when it comes to targeting the very bottom, it is not something I always prefer chasing or I believe anyone should be chasing at all and that would make it look more like one is trying to gamble.

Most times, it is even better to learn trading of trends even in long term to be able to make good decisions in the market and at least buy in a position where you are sure the trend is changing and the possibility of getting something good is great. Like you said, when there is uncertainty in a market, best is to stay away and see how events unfold.
8442  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: where to sell tokens? on: June 12, 2018, 01:17:30 PM
The best practice is to sell the tokens where each token is listed. Etherdelta and idex such sites are doing very cheaply trade.
Etherscan has added a feature that shows the all the market that a token is listed when you click on the exchanges tab of any of the tokens which makes it easy to find the exchange that suits you the most. Otherwise we need to check their website to find out where their tokens have been listed out. I have never been a very good fan of decentralized exchanges that we have so far as they just do not give one that liquidity as well as security you will really want, so I usually do not bother, and if I am trading I am mostly doing that in a reputable and liquid centralized exchange as long as the token is listed there.
8443  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Being aware of SCAMS on: June 12, 2018, 04:47:48 AM
The scams projects are hard to understand. There has been an application software which has invented to detect scams. You can search it on google to get more informations. I hope it would be able to meet up our expectations.
It would be hard only if you do not know exactly what to do. Social media pages like the OP said is one of the last things you really want to be looking at to judge the authenticity of a project but the team and the product and if you cannot get those answered, then it is best to just avoid such a project like a plague that it is.

A lot of people gamble their investment by judging based on things that are irrelevant instead of focusing on the things that are completely different criteria based.

Even finding out scams in early stage itself will be hard, we may diversify our efforts so that we may not get full disappointments for the entire time period. I mean if you have signature/twitter/telegram/translation bounty skills and set-up then do not work on same project with all these skills. Work for one project with one skill-set. Telegram/twitter will allow participating multiple campaigns where as signature will not and translation is a time consuming one hence need to choose the right one very carefully.
8444  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: GAMBLING ADDICTION: when it begin, and how to stop. Let me help you on: June 11, 2018, 06:34:55 PM
I could tell OP I have seen way too many addicted gamblers who gamble and lost huge amount of money to the casinos and resulting getting themselves into huge debts, I also find it useless to talk to them about quitting gambling as they never seems to listen to your advice, they would always tell you they will win back their money someday, I guess it is just way too difficult to talk to a gambler who is seriously addicted to gambling to quit.
They just never will and they will keep coming with flimsy excuse or consolation that persistence is the key. Like they always say, it is only a fool that will keep repeating the same thing over and over and then expecting a different result. It is still funny that at this stage of enlightenment when people share their experiences all over the globe and easily accessible online, a lot of people still fall into the addiction trap.

The only way to stop when you are in it, is to set your mind up to get out of it and know there is nothing to gain from it unless you want to have fun and not many people feel losing money having fun is a path they want to take.
8445  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambler's mindset! on: June 11, 2018, 02:28:27 PM
actually sometimes that causes me lost in gambling is due to ambition is so great to win the bet, but instead the opposite that I get the defeat.
It is good to see people who have some sense of living their lives. You have done so amazing that you have learnt better in time what to do and what not to do. Gambling is all about faking your luck and then fading your lives later on. So don’t just do badly with yourself and your family too. Live a good life and earn from some respectable source that can impart a good living.
That is a good advise, gambling is not really a helpful activity when we are talking of earning money.
It's actually wasting money because you do not win all the time, or even most of the time, they have the house edge so you have to pay to enjoy.
It is all about losing money. No other aspect can be attached or claimed to this gambling thing. We all know that gambling is detrimental to us. We can be harmed by this gambling just by playing it even little. There is no measure of harm in it when you are talking about behind an addict of gambling. So better is to refrain yourself from gambling as much as you can for better future.
Yeah, it is but no need refraining yourself as long as you understand that and you are ready to control yourself so as not to face the craziness that comes with gambling. I am sure a lot of people who understand that and still gamble anyway sure do know the reason why they do, which is either for fun or because it pleases them to see some set of people around they can easily relate with. Left for me, since you are losing anyway, it is hard to have that mindset and still be able to gamble. Usually most gamblers' mindset do swing ups and downs along with their bankroll levels but they never find time to calm down their conscious so that they find no time to regulate their gambling activities too.
8446  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How important is customer support of an online casino for you ? on: June 11, 2018, 08:10:32 AM
I have seen some reputed casinos lagging in this aspect. They make you wait days for a reply to email. There live chats makes you wait for hours. Thus, it makes sense to check the customer support by sending mails or trying live chat before you join the forum. How important is customer support of an online casino for you ?
Customer support is highly needed in a lot of set ups, let alone something that has to do with funds. However, one thing like you have said is the lag, but we also have to understand their capacity may not actually hold much the number of queries coming in a day. It is not an excuse though for an online casino making a lot of money. It is very important for me and I believe everyone as it at least give you some rest of mind to get solutions fast in the case of an issue arising.

so having good support is good , but the good sites are the ones that you don't even need to contact their support  Wink
You cannot predict the future and even giants also may slip down due to unexpected bottlenecks. Hence good sites also must need customer support to handle whenever issue arises.
8447  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how long you can stay without gambling? on: June 10, 2018, 06:02:38 PM
Some of the gamblers are addicted so much to these casino games so they can't stay without playing even a single day.

I can stop completely without gambling and can control myself.

How about you and how long you can control yourself for not playing these games?

Then what is the reason you entered the casino? People go there to gamble and not to do some sight-seeing. I don't blame the people who are tempted to gamble inside a casino because it's like putting an ice cream in front of a kid telling him not to eat it.
Except that ice cream will not do you any harm but if you are not careful gambling obviously will. lol. There is actually no point going into a casino without the sole purpose of gambling obviously and for those who go, how long they can stay away depends on how addicted they are.

I guess in the scale of 1 to 10, I can say 0.1 for myself since I can actually stay a whole year without gambling and probably once in a year or two if I just really miss the fun. Let's face the fact; there can be huge fun in a casino if you are not blinded by trying to make money from your activity.
8448  Economy / Economics / Re: Making crypto succeed in the real world? on: June 10, 2018, 04:38:33 PM
I am communicating a lot in my common life and many of my friends due to my encouragement are already in here. So I make bitcoin promotion like that
I guess you are referring to marketing somehow. There is actually so much word of mouth can do. It is more like a community and if those around you understand the importance and benefit you are deriving from the crypto world, it just keeps spreading on and on and then you realize eventually that the users are increasing by the day.

We need to consider that the population of bitcoin users and holders have drastically increased over the years and when development kicks in where we get to see the process where we can use bitcoin as a currency in its fullness, it would even make it better.
8449  Economy / Economics / Re: what will happens if everyone has own currency, doesn't a bad for Economics ? on: June 10, 2018, 12:45:47 PM
The era of blockchain has given many people to make their own currency with different visions from the Artificial intelligence, personal data, finance etc. as we know the traditional currency is very influential in society & supports economic activity around a worldwide. wel,  if everyone has their own currency doesnt this is will make everyone no longer motivated to work and will be to waste more time in front of computer. so, what do you think?
Creating your own currency is not hard at all, the hardest part is making your own currency worth. You don't have to worry about that even though there are a lot of coins out there only small of them has value and adopted by mass moreover, it is not certain the coins that we made could attract the investors and be used by many people however I have to admit that too much currency can be bad for economic system.
It is one thing to create a token or a coin and it is another thing to create a value for it.
What some people do not understand is that the reason some coins are called shit coins, or the reason they have no trading volume is because there is simply no worth or value for them and in the absence of that, such a coin or token becomes totally useless.

Nothing serious will definitely happen if everyone starts creating their own currency and the only thing bound to happen is that there will just be huge pollution in the space and everyone will just be busy bagholding their own coin.
8450  Economy / Economics / Re: Us government has start probe in manipulation in value of cryptocurrency . on: June 10, 2018, 08:46:55 AM
it greatly affects bitcoin prices, they manipulate prices so that prices can be controlled. but to do so requires substantial funds. I think it can only be done by people who have big capital.
Well, it is something most of us are already getting used to, most especially as traders, and the truth is manipulated markets can actually be annoying and I do hope things like this will be fixed at the end.

Apparently, it is mostly done by those with huge capital, so as to be able to convince or rather confusing most especially traders into getting into a market and then clamping down on them. Since we have a decentralized market with no rules and so on in our hands, things like this are expected anyway.
8451  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The consequences of gambling on: June 09, 2018, 10:35:06 AM
Even if you give so big details, the gambler will always play gambling until he is not finish his bankroll. So in simple words everyone know about it even then they gamble

That's right. The only mindset of gamblers is to gamble and bet for what will give them happiness. For me, gamblers takes no consequencies on their actions because this is what their life is.

No. Not all. Not all who play gambling has posses that mindset,  most gamblers are playing gambling is because they wanted to earn a profit but that does not mean they will not stop until they become rich or until they still have a balance on their stash . Of course most of the gamblers are verry secure  , they already secure their winnings if ever  they win something.

Every gamblers have a different mindset. Some are playing for fun and some are playing for profit. Id say im one of those who gamble for profit because if whenever i won a single bet , i then stop and quit gambling in order to secure my profit. Same as when i loose , i then quit if ever i loose on a single round.
Anyone who is playing gambling because they want to make money will always find it very hard to know when they have made enough to stop and not want to keep playing further since the idea they have is to make tons of it anyway and may be set themselves up for life.

Every gambler have their own mindset and sure we may have those who can easily control themselves, but based on what you have said which is only centered on expecting to win and winning, how about expecting to win and losing, how do you intend to control yourself in that way. There are two sides to every coin, so it is necessary to always look at the possibilities.
8452  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What currencies do you gamble with? on: June 09, 2018, 09:37:12 AM
I have always gambled with only bitcoin and doge coin anyway. I really do not know why I have decided to choose doge coin, simply maybe because I know it is a lot to play around with and sometimes can actually fluctuate enough to worth something in the long term or whatever. For bitcoin however, it is bitcoin, and I am sure virtually any one will be in on bitcoin first before even considering gambling with any other currency. With crypto-games though, I have once tried Monero as well.
8453  Economy / Speculation / Re: 6th date is special for Bitcoin? on: June 08, 2018, 06:56:07 PM
Starting Jan 2018, on 6th every month bitcoin starts a new trend up or down. It's on down trend since 6th last month, will it change after tomorrow and go up again?
not every month!
for example in April trend reversed on 12th of April and as you can see from this month today is already 8th (2 days past) and the trend has not yet changed.

try to never get caught up in things like this. you will be disappointed because there is no reason for them to happen.
Just because something has happened consecutively a number of times and consistently, they just assumed the same pattern will keep repeating itself. I always even consider such things a trap and what could even lead more to panic selling if whales decide to start dumping on the market.

Like you said, it is always important never to get caught up with stuffs like this and rather stick with the trend and I guess the recent incident already proved the importance of not relying on past events in the market to judge the future.

Basically we never use the past to judge any possibility of recent events. The 6th has been mentioned already several times and has been the talk of the news and when everyone is heading in the same direction, which is when you should be careful. The trend is the only thing that can give us exactly what is going to be happening as we forge ahead and so far we have gone past the 6th day with no much show yet, but let's see, we still have a lot of time in our hands to decide what next.
8454  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin $50K by 2018, $100K by 2019 on: June 08, 2018, 06:09:41 PM
this is a good hope that all holders of each crypto coin are waiting, it's just that I think what is the basis of this prediction, in fact I have not heard good news to underlie my belief in this prediction.
Well, in the long term everyone is obviously bullish and believes that we would end up seeing a great rise, but from where we are presently and right now, I would not be too relaxed expecting hope to do his thing.

Like you already asked, there is absolutely no basis to the OP's prediction and everything is based on his own underlying assumptions which to me are just B.S. The market still looks bearish until further notice and only when the coast actually do look like there is a chance for great optimism before we even start imagining $50k by 2018 which totally is unrealistic.
8455  Economy / Speculation / Re: why more red days than green days on: June 08, 2018, 12:15:17 PM
These are the market trends some time all market go to the down and in this condition, few time green and most of the time red zone is displaying but it is not permanent when the market will make stable than all coin again to greenery,
These red days are for the time being and green days will come soon. You should not be panic because this is cryptocurrency and anything is possible here. You should be cool and patient and have the courage to bear the loss. Crypto trading is unique way to earn money if you have little bit experience of trading. You will have to give as much time as you can.
People these days are always in a hurry. Always in a hurry to make quick bucks, always in a hurry to want to get rich all of a sudden without having to persevere or at least risk some moment for it. This is the reason why we have a lot of weak hands in the market and in their mind if bitcoin is moving up, it will never come down again and it will just keep mooning, and if it is coming down, then they spell out doomsdays.

These guys should wake up as this is not a get rich quick scheme and patience and believe in what one is holding is the only thing that can make anyone go ahead with their daily activities and come back in few years’ time to see how rich they are.
8456  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin on: June 08, 2018, 11:03:40 AM
Bitcoin can reach 20000$ by the end of 2018
Well, keep having that spirit as it is good to be optimistic anyway.
It does not sound like something that is not achievable anyway as there is a lot that should be expected could happen in any case when it comes to moment like this for bitcoin.

We have had a huge downtrend, there is still the feeling we are not done yet, while looking at the technical on the charts and hopefully we will get to see how things end up turning out in coming days but end of 2018 I believe as well should get to that point.
8457  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to hold coins in 2018 on: June 08, 2018, 08:48:18 AM
People really want to earn from cryptocurrency but end up losing everything including their principal they invested all in the motive of holding the cryptocurrency. Before you invest and think of holding, u need to consider some qualities of the coin including the team managers, partners, the project itself and the likes.
That is a must and I do not expect anyone to actually go outside this rule. The market is very volatile and most especially the altcoin market which makes it a market one need to be careful before investing so much in. Asides this, knowing the potential of a coin or token based on knowledge and not by assumption is always the thing that helps anyone hold it no matter the current market situation. It is not everyone that can trade, and as long as you cannot, better to hold, buy some more at dips and look forward to the long term. That is all that matters.

I believe that alts are always a good way to get some pretty good profit, but at the same time, they are also a good way to be losing so much in the market if care is not taken. A lot of them if not all, moves based on how bitcoin market moves and they only do well during bitcoin consolidation which I always try as much as possible to take into perspective before making any market decision.
8458  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: The "Best" of these exchanges on: June 08, 2018, 07:19:46 AM
I would definitely avoid Cryptopia, where the rest of the exchanges are purely depending on luck. One user experiences no problems at all, where others might only experience problems and annoyances. If I was in your position, I would go with Bit-z or HitBTC, even though I consider them to be shitcoin exchanges. Try it first with a small deposit, and if everything works fine, send another batch, and if again everything works fine, you repeat. I definitely wouldn't send all funds at once in case you have a lot coins. All these exchanges have somewhat of a bad reputation in certain aspects.
It is obvious he does not have any exchange experience but at least he could have used exchange reviews to get the best out on Google as crypto compare do have a good user review of exchanges on their platform. However, I am sure you are giving him suggestions based on what he has mentioned, but I will really avoid HitBTC too same as Cryptopia that you mentioned.

I am not conversant with the rest and assuredly they are not widely used which brings me to the question why use any of those ones, when you can at least use the trusted ones with high volume. Binance is the best bet so far.
8459  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Exchange Regulations - are we seeing negative effects? on: June 08, 2018, 06:21:19 AM
~snip~

Not a new thing and soon we would see that most exchangers would definitely follow up this kind of protocol where they do need to follow up on what government would require them.If they wont then they do know on what would happen to their business which would really be stopped since it wont able to follow up on what government do said.Non a surprising thing for them to have the reason to cracked down money laundering but behind it,its quite obvious that they are aiming for crypto users too which do have large funds in crypto.
We cannot apparently expect the government to keep quiet while everyone just keep getting busy doing whatever they like all in the name of decentralization without at least some form of regulation which mostly affects the exchanges and to me is a good thing to see this happen as this would bring more maturity to the space, help with growth as we see smart moneys kicking in and that is really what matters, growth! Whoever does have a problem with that is not ready to be an investor in the general sense.
8460  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $$MORE EXPENSIVE THAN bITCOIN$$ on: June 07, 2018, 03:32:49 PM

But too risky if we invest into bitbtc.
I prefer to invest into Altcoin who just listing on the exchange.
Risky ?
Anyone who even invests in it is actually insane and must be very high on some cheap weed. These are jokes and not some coins anyone want to be found with.

I can bet it that the same people who own the coins are the ones manipulating the price of their own coin, by using their different accounts on the exchange since they are shitty exchanges anyway, to set a price and then buy it back at that price. They have nothing to lose, and only the fools who just trade or invest in anything are the ones who will get screwed.
