8441  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ...and THIS is why I prefer to use Bitcoin. on: January 30, 2016, 10:25:24 AM
Dear, every good thing has a darker side. But does that darker side takes over the good thing?Huh?

Bitcoin may or ma not be used for illegal transactions, but does it really matter to everyone who is earning it in a right way??

Fiat is used in the majority of illegal transactions, but does it really lost its value??

leave all those behind and earn bitcoin for a better future.

8442  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Some hard truth about Satoshi's identity on: January 30, 2016, 10:17:44 AM
I don't think the way of writing is the enough evidence to prove someone is from North America. It can be an intentional change to hide the actual identity.

But I don't understand that why people are behind him?? Enjoy Bitcoin and let him live his life. That sounds fair..isn't it?
8443  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can bitcoin rise up to 800$ this year ? on: January 21, 2016, 04:42:00 AM
I doubt about $800, but I can certainly bet on $550-$600 within 2016.

However, after the Mike Hearn controversy, Bitcoin is recovering sharply and it will get back to $450 level in no time.

Keep dreaming guys!
8444  Other / Archival / Re: Bitcoin Core, XT, Classic, Unlimited or BitPay Core? on: January 20, 2016, 03:08:37 PM
I think an immediate increase in block size would be very positive.

Definitely Core...others are just copying the core... But as Pedrog rightly said, that an increase in block size is the need of the hour.
8445  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My response to Wadhwa from the Washington Post article "'R.I.P. Bitcoin." on: January 20, 2016, 06:55:13 AM
Excellent post. please pat your back on my behalf!

I think it should be published in a mainstream media as well.

Time will certainly unlock the true potential of bitcoin.

8446  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Washington Post: 'R.I.P. Bitcoin. It’s time to move on' on: January 19, 2016, 03:11:04 PM
The time will only speak!

The anonymity of bitcoin is a great advantage that users enjoy. How it can become a bane?? It's true that a class of people is taking this advantage but majority of the users are normal people like you and me.

Bitcoin is not going to rest in peace anytime soon.
8447  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: best way to convert altcoins to btc? on: January 19, 2016, 04:48:41 AM
login to your block chain account and look at the right side of the website. You will find the registered exchangers there..Fees will be there because it's there business and they are trustworthy. Based on your location, you will see a list.

I myself tried few exchangers listed there and every trade went smoothly.
8448  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How 1BTC can eventually be worth $11M on: January 19, 2016, 04:42:03 AM
That's too good to dream about!

I don't know whether it will really become 11M USD or not..but one thing we need to keep in our mind that the supply of bitcoin is limited and the demand is increasing day by day. So the price of bitcoin will be skyrocketing as per the normal rule of economics. That's why I am only accumulating it, not selling.
8449  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Breaking: CNBC - Banking syndicate has been organized to TAKE OVER Bitcoin! on: January 18, 2016, 03:09:16 PM
That's certainly worrying..But they will have many disadvantages as well.

Banks are regulated entity. so they can't create a decentralized currency. They will have to employ proper accounting system for that. They will have to keep track of every single transaction. So they will never have the anonymity what bitcoin enjoys. So a lot of people will simple not indulge in to this.

But the most worrying part is that, if the banks are started using blockchain technology to create their own currency...we will soon see an influx of fiat currency in to the organized and regulated market which will decrease the value of traditional currency which will in turn make the people poorer, especially those who have never experienced the crypto world. Bad thing for economy.

8451  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 3 years i accumulated 10 btc, but now, i not have idea...suggestion? on: January 12, 2016, 03:15:25 PM
Considering the difficulty, the solo mining is not anymore profitable. I don't know how much you have spent to gather 10 BTC..but holding is the best investment as of now. Don''t go for "get rich quick" schemes and you may end up loosing it all. Bitcoin price will definitely get doubled within some years. At that point of time, the more the merrier rule will apply. Store your bitcoins in a safe place and use it for your future savings.

8455  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to motivate women to use Bitcoin? on: December 30, 2015, 05:15:10 AM
Woman understands the power of money better than man....Give them some bitcoins and find them few options to spend it, then motivation will come from within.  Grin

8458  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Shift Payments Bitcoin Debit Card, my experince on: December 28, 2015, 08:40:13 AM
https://www.shiftpayments.com

At this time, only residents of the United States may apply for a Shift Card.

In order to spend bitcoin via Coinbase, cardholders must reside in one of the following U.S. states:
AL, AZ, CA, DE, DC, ID, IA, KS, ME, MS, NE, NV, NJ, NC, ND, OK, OR, PA, PR, SD, TX, VT, WA, WV

I think most info will be in the FAQ.

Oh!! Sad to know that. I don't reside in USA.
